   They are saboteurs and must be flushed away in the next election even if we all know Brexit if left unsupervised will be an alternative route to a similar endgoal.

   Moonbat crazy in part but quite entertaining overview of Noakes’ prosecution and his fixation with the “common law court”.
   It starts at 2m and Noakes gets into his stride about Admiralty law/courts
   @9’14 – where does this crap come from? (Mainly it seems a Christian Identist called “‘W.P Gale'”). Is this a plot by Ian R. Crane to make the populariser of GcMAF look insane or did Noakes do it all on his own unassisted?!
   It gets more bizarre as the interview proceeds, Noakes relays his court lawyers said his side of the story would not be heard if he did not plead guilty and claims the judge held they were still on the record despite Noakes dismissing them. Maybe there should have been a sub-trial to assess his mental capacity.

   The “common law court” schtick is evolving into a nice distraction. If the people who benefited from GcMAF and current supporters wished to assist in taking action to avoid or reverse what does seem a probable miscarriage of justice wouldn’t they have been better served by mounting a crowd-funding if necessary so Noakes/Thyer might hire lawyers who would fight harder for their clients?

   btw there’s apparently some sort of demo to publicise the GcMAF issue scheduled for 11 September at Westminster.

   1. One of the best reasons to leave the EU is to get rid of UK participation in the European Arrest Warrant web. I watched first 9 mins of the video, but no wiser as to *why* guest’s wife was arrested.

      Under French law since about 2000, bail should be given to most arrested persons within 1-2 days, but maybe not if the arrested has been arrested pursuant to a warrant. I just do not know.

      As you say, this “Common Law” “get out of jail card” is nonsense, and certainly inapplicable anyway in France, which is not and never has been a “Common Law” jurisdiction.

      Boris’s or Cummings’ idea of a request letter followed by a “disregard” letter is something a schoolboy might dream up. I expect that the EU would (might) say yes to the first and disregard the, er, “disregard”…

      2. As I said before, I *favour* Leave, even WTO Leave, but Boris-Idiot is just wrong in every way (as I have also been saying for 10 years, to general silence or dissent) as Prime Minister. As for his Cabinet, a collection of deadheads, thick-as-two-short-planks chancers and careerists, an Israeli agent (or three). “Dross” hardly covers it. It will take a long time for the UK to recover any dignity or presence.

   2. I am now just listening to the bit that starts at 09:14, re “Common Law” birth certificate. This is the maddest “legal” exposition I have heard. People “cannot be prosecuted” in England if they have a “Common Law” birth certificate (whatever that is supposed to be) and tell the judge that they are “living people”? Ha ha!

      That man (the guest) at first sounded fairly reasonable, but my impression now is that he seems to be some kind of obsessive. I have just looked him up:

      His ideas about the law are crazy, if only because law is the velvet glove in which power resides. The fact is that abstruse ideas about the alleged invalidity of the normal courts are castles in the air, as lacking in solidity as clouds. There *are* no “Common Law courts” (in the sense used by Noakes and the video presenter) with any legal power. These “Common Law” courts are just am-dram “courts”, which have no standing whatsoever. 2. This article is so true. I favour a REAL exit from the EU but I despise both Boris the severely incompetent half-wit who is making our country a complete worldwide laughing stock and his ‘modern’ CONServative Party which is non socially conservative, in favour of senseless wars in the Middle East for Israel, too close to the Zionist USA, pro open borders, won’t take stringent actions against violent criminals, has reduced the police to being blatant enforcers of the British state’s socially liberal viewpoints whilst not bothering much with REAL criminals, has butchered our nation’s armed forces and has extreme libertarian economic policies which only really benefit the richest 10% or so of the population.

   This country could do with a genuine national-conservative/nationalist party like Germany’s Alternative Fur Deutschland (Afd) or a social-national party as you wish.

   The ‘modern’ Conservative Party is utter rubbish and is nowadays just a paler version of US Republicanism. Libertarianism is an alien political philosophy to this country, little more than pure anarchism and has virtually no relevance. About the only field of policy it does have some worth in is in the field of LGBT rights most of which are rational and supported by evidence.

   As for Corbyn, he has some sensible ideas ie about rail ownership etc and he isn’t as Zionist and pro-Israeli as the misnamed Conservative Party is but he is still very socially liberal as is his party.

   Thanks to the archaic and primitive system of First Past The Post we have few real political choices hence the dire state of the country.

   The Tories rightly have few problems with the role of competition in business but have a massive problem with it when it comes to evaluating various electoral systems as to how the different ones would either encourage competition or strangle it within the political sphere ie how FPTP does.

   1. I agree with all of that. There is now not only a disconnect between voters and the elected but a gulf between them; and also between the two major tendencies in the Commons. A proper proportional-voting system (the simpler the better) would restore some trust between electors and elected and would nuance the artificial black-and-white results of the FPTP system.

      Ironically, the present system of voting, while it prevents most small parties having *any* representation, also gives a small party which reaches the “tipping-point” the possibility to be an elected dictatorship, as has happened in Scotland.

      As we have discussed previously, the SNP, though founded in 1930 or thereabouts, only had its first MP elected in 1970, and only had a few MPs until suddenly, in 2015, getting 57 or 58 out of, I think, about 61 or 62 Scottish seats. The FPTP system thus worked in 2015 against its previous beneficiaries (LibLabCon), because in 2015, the SNP got about 97% of the seats but only about 50% of the votes.

      1. Indeed. Some historians even believe that our union with the whole of Ireland was not only weakened but eventually destroyed by our use of this overly primitive electoral system. Is it going to do the same regarding Scotland? Is the party that is still officially called the Conservative and Unionist Party wanting to stick with this system and find that Scotland ceases to be a part of the United Kingdom because of it?

      2. FPTP rewards parties who can concentrate their votes and penalises those who can’t. Thus, we have the Scotland-only SNP over represented by it and the Liberal Democrat Party under represented. Meanwhile, the Green Party had fewer supporters than UKIP did in 2017 but they got an MP whilst UKIP didn’t because so many Green voters live in just one constituency in Brighton.

         How profoundly stupid is it to have an electoral system for what is SUPPOSED to be a NATIONAL UK WIDE parliament based purely on geographical constituencies. In effect, due to stand-alone FPTP, we don’t have real general elections but have instead 650 odd individual by-elections held on the same day.

         A decent electoral system should be nationally UNIFYING not nationally DIVISIVE.

      3. The latest opinion polls indicate the half-wit Johnson is very unpopular in Scotland and that will help the SNP retake the seats the CON Party gained from them in 2017. The Tories are facing a virtual wipe-out North of The Border and in so doing have less MPs up there than there are Pandas in Edinburgh Zoo and this will occur despite the fact the Conservative and Unionist Party will still poll a decent number of votes across Scotland. The joys of the overly crude First Past The Post strike once again by making it look as if separatism is more popular than it actually is. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland should not be placed under this kind of stress by a manifestly primitive and unfair electoral system.

      4. I do not claim great knowledge of Scottish politics or society; in fact, I have never even visited the country. However, it is clear that the Conservatives, having been all but invisible from about 1963 to 2010, have come back in recent years, partly because of Ruth Davidson. Now that she is gone (though staying on as MSP), they may fade back, esp. now that Boris-Idiot is ruling (on paper) in London. I have assumed for a year or so that the SNP will return to about 45% in the polls, and they are almost there now. They are “socialist” enough for most voters who would otherwise favour Labour, and with Labour still declining up there, must get most seats, maybe 50 out of 59.

4. First Past The Post is excessively primitive and doesn’t now perform one of the most essential tasks of any sane and rational electoral system ie give effective expression to the people’s democratic will. Infact, nowdays it smothers it.

   One of the very few good points about it is that it provides a constituency link but you can retain that aspect of it and combine it with significantly enhanced proportionality if you have it not as a standalone element as we have but as part of a hybrid and overall PR system like the Germans have: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_system_of_Germany

   Germany’s Mixed-Member PR system was once unique but is now used by several counties including New Zealand and surely there are no Tories who would say we can’t have it because, you know, those Kiwis are a ‘strange, foreign lot with odd ways’, would they?🙄

   FPTP is simply too crude to use on its own, wastes far too many votes and the present deplorable situation has surely tested it to utter destruction and it has been found wanting.

   There is one improvement that I would make to Germany’s system and that is to replace their ‘closed’ regional lists with flexible ‘open’ ones so voters don’t have to endorse the entire party list and the order that the party wants its candidates to be elected in if they don’t want to and can instead vote for one party candidate with that vote counting not just for that individual but the party they are affiliated with as well.

One of the good things about the referendum in 2016 was that everyone’s votes had an equal value placed upon them whether it was cast for Leave or Remain or whether it was put into a ballot box in the Labour-voting stronghold of Sunderland or the ‘True Blue’ Tory citadel of Windsor and Maidenhead.

   Now, why can’t we have an electoral system for general and local elections that incorporate the concept of a vote having roughly the same weight/value as a national referendum?

Iain, look at the latest edition of Channel Four (Remaniac) News (10th September 2019)and you will see that we may be heading for yet another hung parliament if we do have a general election according to their research.😀😂👌The Tory dimwit MP, Andrew Mitchell, still thinks in binary terms ie if you are pro-Brexit you will be voting for his party (yes, that includes those normally Labour-voting Northerners with their cloth caps etc😂😂😂) or will vote for the Brexit Party. He is making a big mistake if he really thinks that people are voting for the Brexit Party purely for that reason alone and that all the Tories have to do is to push the Brexit Party vote down to less than 10% and it is job done for his party! I happen to believe, as you do, that part of the Brexit Party Vote is a big ‘eff you’ to the political Establishment as a whole which, of course, includes HIS party as well.

   Teresa May made the same mistake in 2017 though with her the pitch was a bit more believable since Teresa didn’t come from such an elitist background as the half-wit. When people vote for a party at a general election they take a lot of policies into consideration and also whether they think a party has a good leader or not. NOT EVERYONE in Britain is a fan of The Clown!

   1. I have thought for a long time that the next general election would result in a hung Parliament, possibly with Labour as largest party. Recently, I started to wonder, partly because Boris-Idiot was doing well in polling, partly because Labour is just not enthusing people any more, partly because Brexit Party, which started so stunningly, has deflated to some extent.

      Farage is making the same mistake that he did with UKIP: Brexit Party is a one-issue party so far, and is far too close to the Conservative position, esp. now that Boris-Idiot is the Con leader. At present, BP is between 10% and 15% in the polls, and that is not enough to win any seats; neither is it enough to impact on the Con vote more than UKIP did. UKIP should have gone social-national in 2014/2015. It did not, and so sank. Brexit Party may go the same way *unless* Boris is both crushed and buried. If that happened, Brexit Party might, like Antaeus, draw greater life and strength.

      I should say that the next/soon general election is still very open.

Many of these normally Labour voting Northerners the Tories are trying to convert to vote for them are not too enamoured of a CON Party that doesn’t care about de-industrialisation and the loss of secure jobs, presided over an big expansion of the low paid and part time jobs of a ‘gig economy’ and one that has a simpleton for a ‘leader’ who OPENLY says he is in favour of allowing ILLEGAL immigrants to have YET ANOTHER amnesty. Infact, I think many of these kind of voters in the North used the Brexit referendum to protest about immigration. It was a kind of proxy vote about that subject.

   One thing that can be said for Teresa May is that she wasn’t as stupid and downright elitist to openly endorse LAW BREAKING by ILLEGAL migrants as the twerp from Eton College does.

Well, I agree, but if you are a Northern voter unwilling to vote Con, but disenchanted with Labour and its pro-immigration and other policies, that only leaves you voting Brexit Party despite its ultra-Con policies such as scrapping inheritance tax, which will only benefit 1% of the population now that the threshold is £500,000 anyway. The BNP got two Northern MEPs (Northern seats) in 2009. Straw in the wind… If BP were less obviously ultra-Con, it would do better.

The Brexit Party is too much of a ultra CON Party with all that means ie NOT a hardline stance on crime and its punishment or very stringent and ENFORCED immigration policies but even more loopy and globalist libertarian economics than even the now US Republican like original CON Party is willing to endorse.

         UKIP had excessively libertarian economic leanings and that helped to prevent that party from making a really big breakthrough. We need a socially conservative nationalist party like Germany’s Afd or France’s Rassemblement National (National Rally).

The CON Party is a sick PC globalist joke that is ‘led’ by an utter moron who I have absolutely ZILCH respect for and which only ‘conserves’ the wealth of the top 10% of the population and particularly that of the top 1% and Labour is no real alternative either. Globalists to the ‘Right’ of me and globalists to the ‘Left’ as well!

         If that were the result, the Lib Dem’s should point blank refuse to work with the CON Party unless they get into the 20th Century let alone the 21st one and offer the country a referendum on REAL electoral reform ie a system of Proportional Representation (my preference would be something along the lines of Germany’s excellent Mixed-Member PR) . We wouldn’t wish to see a repeat of that farcical referendum we had in 2011 on that DISTINCTLY NON PR system called the Alternative Vote (AV).

8. I see that Boris The Buffoon has found a small brain cell and used it by rejecting a pact with Tory Boy Farage’s single issue Brexit Party. Surely even dimwit Farage should have realised that NO CON Party leader would EVER have countenanced such a pact for perfectly sensible political reasons ie it would make the CON Party look very weak and desperate, give them the impression of being a single-issue party of protest instead of being a multi-issue party of potential government, effectively say to the electorate we can’t possibly win on our own etc and also in the present circumstances split the CON Party even further and prompt more defections like that of Dr Phillip Lee to the Lib Dem’s etc.

   Nigel really doesn’t do the most basic of political principles, does he?🙄🙄🙄

   1. Had Boris gone along with Farage’s offer, it would have emphasized that the Con Party is no longer a *national* party. It would also, had it gifted Farage 50+ seats, have made Brexit Party credible at a stroke.

      As it is, I can see Brexit Party deflating to nothing, the way things are going. A lot depends on whether Brexit does not happen, or only happens on paper. In that event, people might vote Brexit Party or they might not. There’s no doubt that Brexit Party has lost momentum.

9. Indeed. A pact would have said to the electorate don’t bother voting CON Party because in this or that seat we can’t win, we are not a serious party anymore and given the Brexit Party credibility.

   Yes, the Brexit Party or company as many call it is deflating to nothing. Farage still has this inane belief any party led by him can act as a pressure group on only ONE of the big parties instead of him and others doing some hard work and building a credible MULTI-ISSUE party of opposition to the political Establishment as a whole like the Le Pen family has done in France. There was a reason why both Tory and Labour were so afraid of the BNP compared to UKIP and why Tory rags like the Daily Express gave Farage and UKIP so much publicity (mostly favourable as well) compared to the BNP.
