Note, if you are infected; many are never infected; many are never known or discovered to be infected.
Why is this not publicized more in the UK (where the statistics are at least similar)? Because there is an agenda behind all this…

As recently as, say, 20 or even 10 years ago, Sturgeon, or someone like her, would have been just laughed at. Now look at her! “First Minister” of devolved Scotland, leader of a substantial bloc of MPs in the Westminster monkeyhouse, and now instituting a toytown police state north of Hadrian’s Wall.
The Scottish economy was in a poor state anyway. Now, not “the virus” but the hysterical over-reaction to it has pretty much collapsed the economy of Scotland. I was just reading about how Edinburgh Woolen Mill Company has been into or is going into administration. Looks like it is finished, the way Sturgeon is even racing ahead of the UK Government in trashing the economy. 24,000 jobs lost affects at least 100,000 people: families, and those companies supplying goods and services to those people (who will now have far less spending money).
On the wider point, I have always said that I have no objection to Scotland breaking away from the UK, but that if it does, it cannot expect to be further subsidized by England. Neither can it rely on “its” North Sea Oil. At present that is costing about $10 per barrel more to produce than its sale value.

A good point (which I have myself made many times). You cannot plausibly oppose Jewish Zionist behaviour in Israel/Palestine, but excuse it in the UK, France, Germany or USA (etc). Same types, same problem.

The whole corrupt system needs to go, and that includes the mindset, which is so ingrained.
At present, I am little more than completely obscure, as far as the general public is concerned. Yes, a certain number of people, who mostly agree with me, read my blog (tens of thousands of hits already this year), yes those hostile to European race and culture are aware of me (and snoop on me), and “the authorities” are well aware of me and my blog. However, the general public is unaware of my existence. I am untroubled by that, yet feel a duty to become better known.
When I was disbarred in late 2016, there began to be public interest. Had I been in a different and better position generally, I could have accepted the invitation from pretty much every newspaper (national and even regional/local) to be interviewed. I declined. I seem to recall that even some TV “journalist” was interested. I was not.
Naturally, any msm interview would have been hostile in intent, if not in form or attitude. However, I can understand the balancing act involved when a political “activist” (though I am hardly that) is asked to be interviewed or to appear on TV. One thinks of the Nick Griffin Question Time appearance. Naturally, a political party or group will usually want publicity, but of what kind? “Ay, there’s the rub“…
Incidentally, after my disbarment and the Daily Mail piece about me that appeared the next day, I was interested to see that, despite the Jew claque organizing hostile remarks in the “readers’ comments” underneath the story, most of those comments were in fact favourable; the Mail then expunged many favourable comments and stopped taking new ones.
Again, the persecuted satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz was basically unknown before the fake “charity” known as”Campaign Against Antisemitism” started to push police and CPS to harass and prosecute her. That campaign has backfired, and woken up untold thousands more to the menace that Jewish Zionism represents.

The sheer scale of “lockstep” coordination by every international msm source alone gives rise to a deep and natural suspicion that this is a contrivance of huge proportions by those same forces who can connive to bring nations into armed intervention into foreign lands ( ALWAYS the Middle East) in complete defiance of their own “International Law”, or outrageously pervert the very concept of their own “justice” by brazen and baseless allegations of the use of chemical weapons; or of “assassination attempts” with deadly poisons ( so identifiable and yet never THAT deadly as to be able to kill their intended target). They cause jets to mysteriously crash (twice from the same airline), and tower blocks to collapse in ways that defy the known laws of physics; or pretend with a straight face that a million plus illegal immigrants can and must be allowed to traverse the breadth of Western Europe and enforce this with punitive financial sanction upon any Nation state that dares to protect its own borders by attempting to enforce the very laws of asylum allowed to it. Perhaps, with some justification, one can surely be forgiven for feeling that yet again we are being had.

I don’t like the anti-English SNP and their stupid globalist policies of mass immigration which if Scotland WERE a fake ‘independent’ state under Surgeon would rapidly overwhelm native Scots and turn them into being a ethnic minority there BUT I have to say Sturgeon has been pretty impressive during this crisis and continues to be.

The “lockdown” has *shut down* much of not only the economy but also the NHS. Huge numbers are now not getting seen, diagnosed, treated, operated upon. Already far more have died from the effects of the crazy “lockdown” than from “the virus”, even if you accept the death toll as accurate, which I do not.
As to Sturgeon, I feel inclined to say to her and her voters: “go, take your meaningless Independence”, but not a penny more will come from England to subsidize Scotland. Live off what your land can produce.” I think that that, combined with a ban on any Scots coming south to get jobs, beneits and pensions, would finish off the SNP quickly enough.

From reading his tweets it us evident to me that Peter denies the seriousness of Covid-19 totally which is why he writes tweet after tweet ranting on and on about ‘liberty’ and I have yet to see him endorsing ANY measures the government has taken to try and suppress the virus in this country.

Well, m’Lord of Essex, and speaking for myself rather than for Peter Hitchens, it seems clear to me that “the virus” is fairly dangerous for those over 80, somewhat dangerous for those over 70, not hugely dangerous for those over 60, really not dangerous for those 40-60, and of only minor importance for those under 40.
It remains true that, even in the UK, where a higher proportion have died with/of “the virus” than is the case in some other countries, it is still only about one fatality for every 1,500-2000 people in this country.
As I said in my blog, a serious public health problem, but no more than others, and no reason to shut down the society, the economy or normal life, let alone give police and militia extraordinary powers of repression.
There’s more behind all this.

This pandemic has not run its course either here or in many other countries. Worldwide pandemics can last for years! Vietnam has been praised by many for its excellent response to the pandemic which ranks alongside that of China, Taiwan and South Korea and rightly so. This is all the more remarkable in their case since Vietnam is still a Third World developing country and isn’t as rich as South Korea etc.

No, the majority of the British people are not mad to support measures to try and suppress the virus. Those who are calling for better targeted and tougher measures are correct to do so. Being indecisive and listening to the stupid likes of libertarian lunatic Peter Hitchens as this government has done ie when they have imposed a virtually useless rule of six on people instead of tightening it to a more likely to be effective rule of four, three or two and not enforcing the regulations more stringently is what is prolonging this problem in the UK.
