I went out this evening to get fuel from an automatic pump, and to check tyre pressures on my old car. On the way back, I stopped in a village for some fish and chips, something I do not do very often but enjoy occasionally.

Inside, facemasks were de rigueur, the three staff were also wearing them, and were now partly behind a perspex screen. I bought what I wanted,and left. As I left, I saw a woman with her little girl waiting outside to come in, obviously unwilling to enter until I left. The woman and child were both wearing masks! In the empty street! As I left, they shrank back, lest the Plague get them!

I don’t think Russia is interested in helping the rest of Europe do as you want them to do. Many of the ordinary citizens and the ministers of their government don’t see themselves as Europeans. After all, the Soviet Union under Stalin could be said to be partially responsible for WW2 breaking-out. I think this was the opinion of one of my grandmothers though she didn’t explicitly say it because one day I was talking about Russia and WW2 in her presence and all of a sudden she hissed, “Please, don’t talk to me about Russia”. I believe she was upset about part of her younger life being ruined by the deprivations of the war and the failure of Neville Chamberlain’s noble efforts at averting it because of the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact.

I agree that they have a potential interest in collaborating with the rest if us in Europe but I just think they are reluctant to do that. They do, on the whole, have a rather stand offish attitude to other people in Europe and to think of themselves as wholly separate to us. Mind you, I can’t say I can blame them for this attitude when you have far too many politicians in this country in particular seemingly wanting to go to war with them like that Tory idiot who represents the seat of Tonbridge and Malling in Kent and the Chief of the Defence Staff.

As if, m’Lord of Essex, Britain, with its now-pathetic armed forces, could even dream of taking on Russia! The ?70,000 or 60,000 in the British Army are in any case mostly scarcely fit for battle. About 15% are women, for one thing. A couple of them were shown in the popular prints recently, having had a drunken and/or drugged brawl in Magaluf. The Russian vanguard forces would cut through like a hot knife through butter. Fortunately, Russia is not at all expansionist these days; the Leninist strategic dogma has gone. Russia just wants to be left alone.

Sainsbury’s is a repulsive supermarket and their management are certifiable anti-white racists. I once knew someone who tried to get a job there and one of the most prominent questions on their application form is a wholly needless one asking what race/ethnic group you consider yourself to belong to!

Here in Brentwood, Essex though it is hard to avoid them though since they are the only large supermarket in this town so if you don’t wish to shop there you have to use Marks and Spencer’s or to travel to Gallow’s Corner, Romford, for Tesco’s or to Billericay for Waitrose etc.
At any rate, Sainsbury’s in Brentwood is poorly-stocked at the best of times (especially for fresh fruit and vegetables) and this applies even at Christmas!

Sadly, m’Lord of Essex, where I live the only near supemarkets (1-2 miles distant) are Waitrose and Maks & Spencer food store. M&S also has similar propaganda; Waitrose I do not know; have not noticed. All the others are similar and much further away (5+ miles to Tesco or Lidl).
