I myself have never had any interest in the Eurovision circus, but have also never understood why Israel, a leech state situated in the Middle East, the population of which state is not European, is in Eurovision anyway. Kick it out. Boycott it.

Indeed it is and although it is in a really terrible state now to some extent it always has been. I will never understand the Tory obsession with American โsocietyโ and their admiration of it and the USA and clear wish to replicate it here.
The USA is a extremely wealthy country but very large parts of its โsocietyโ and ways really should not be admired and our Tories shouldnโt aim to make us into a mini US.
If they want to follow foreign countries and try to make us like them then their examples should be Japan and South Korea who are rich as well nowadays but who also have decent and admirable societies ie low crime rates, people pulling together in times of national crisis like now etc.
American โsocietyโ really has many bad aspects with few good points. Money is NOT everything, Tories!

Israel ,like all sovereign nation states, has a right to defend itself when it comes under attack but it must do this in a genuinely moderate and restrained manner and not put peace in the Middle East under threat or that of the wider world.

In the end, that is probably what will happen as Israel goes down in fire and destruction. However, it may be that all those nuclear bombs, missiles etc (inc. biological warfare weapons) will not help the Jews in Israel, as their own urban areas are attacked from within.
I am fascinated by tunnels. So was the old KGB, one of which’s chief directorates was very skilled in digging them. If a tunnel is deep enough, no bombs can destroy it, except as it comes to the surface.
I wonder how many deep tunnels are being created under Israel.

Does she think that a very educated and respected French diplomat/Ambassador would not have thought quite carefully about using such strong language about a foreign country that is also a member of the UN like France is?
I think he would have done since Ambassadors/diplomats are highly educated people (the British Foreign Office requires potential Ambassadors/diplomats to have several A levels with good grades/ or degree/degrees before they are accepted on a training course and no doubt the French Foreign Office does as well) and they are, of course, selected into training schemes with their personal characters being assessed as being sufficiently diplomatic in the first place.
That French Ambassador/diplomat was not a typical, common French โanti-Semiteโ from a trash estate on the outskirts of Paris!๐๐๐๐

If I am not mistaken, m’Lord of Essex, that ambassador was himself of Jewish background, and was speaking at a dinner at the French Embassy in London! BTW, I knew a couple of people who had attended dinners there (near Hyde Park); apparently, they put on a good evening.

Yes, an odd case, as you say. No obvious political motivation. Some people, usually men, are “gun nuts” or like to collect weapons. A woman fascinated by such things is an oddity.
Personally, I am not very interested in such things and, as matters stand in the UK, I cannot see how individually-held stocks of any kind of armament are useful politically. The same is even more true of the kind of explosive device that that woman is said to have made or possessed. She must be of calm mentality; I would not want such a device under *my* bed (if that is where it was)!
