What is the point in strengthening the law around cruelty to animals, when the courts continue to hand down such toothless sentences? Also, is the CPS charging correctly?
Animal welfare has to be given more emphasis in this country, even if the UK is better than most other countries in this respect.

If Rishi Sunak thinks Therese Coffey represents "Professional Government" then he's a bigger prat than I thought already. She's utterly clueless, and frankly it's insulting that someone so useless keeps getting high level appointments.
100% Lucy. The farce of politics. Get elected. Bung yer mates in post, with little or zero experience and we as the electorate, swallow the lot. Coffey embodies the worst of all worlds, in every position she's been in. A talentless lump of denial…
Ha ha! The bitch must have seen my assessment about her! Actually, that is quite likely: thousands have, since it was published over three years ago. Many MPs, ministers, members of overseas governments, read my work.

Seriously, though, the fact that a useless and dishonest creature such as Therese Coffey can reach the level, politically, that she has, surely proves that the whole system is sick.
Twitter
If there is any truth in the news, or rumour, that Elon Musk will reverse the millions (?) of “lifetime suspensions” of Twitter tweeters (one of which was me, after a pack of Zionist Jews conspired to have me expelled in 2018), I may decide to return to Twitter, but only to promote this blog.
In reality, the “aid” being given to “Ukraine” (to the Jew Zelensky’s Zionist and dictatorial regime in Kiev) is not aid to the Ukrainian people, and is given with the intent of pressuring and eventually collapsing Russia as an independent state.
The New World Order [NWO] cabals want Russia to return to a completely supine, powerless state, as it was in the 1990s under Yeltsin, a state in which Jewish and (other) foreign exploiters can profit hugely off the suffering of the Russian people. The same, mutatis mutandis, as happened in Germany in the 1920s.

Interesting comment both on the specific question and also, impliedly, on how popular perception of what “The Science” says (or is believed to say) can lead to a kind of mass conditioning (cf. the “Covid” “panicdemic” and several other issues).
Tribalism is totally silly! Except when one particular tribe spreads nonstop anti-white genocidal ideas over the airwaves like their lives depend on it. When they got called out – "whoaaaa, hey man! Not cool!"
“In 1915 Feinberg traveled to Egypt and made contact with the British Department of Naval Intelligence. In 1917, he again went to Egypt, on foot. He was apparently killed on his way back by a group of Bedouins near the British front in Sinai, close to Rafah.[3] His fate was unknown until after the 1967 Six-Day War, when his remains were found under a palm tree that had grown from date seeds in his pocket.” [Wikipedia].
How about that?! “…his remains were found under a palm tree that had grown from date seeds in his pocket.“
Well, now that the said Feinberg is apparently an Israeli hero-figure (they even have a stamp with his head on it), the suspicion must be that the bit about the palm tree and the date seeds is some kind of fairy tale. Still, it may well be true. These things happen.
I have not included the above in my blog to make any political or other point; it just struck me as interesting. Still, one could reflect on how one never knows how one’s actions may, long after one’s own death, bear unexpected fruit (in the case of Feinberg, literally, of course).
Israeli elections
Readers of my blog will know that I am usually cautious about commenting about the political situation in countries with which I am not directly familiar (even Scotland), but idly browsing Wikipedia while listening to BBC World Service, I heard about the electoral impasse in Israel. I looked up the state of play on Wikipedia:
It seems that there 120 elected members. What is extraordinary is that Israeli politics is so fragmented that the party presently ruling, Likud [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Likud], has only 30 members out of that 120. Indeed, the whole minority government coalition headed by Likud only has 54 members.
The second-largest party in the Knesset, Yesh Atid [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yesh_Atid] has only 17 Knesset members. The next-largest party has 9. In fact, there are no less than 23 parties and Independent members represented, grouped into 13 parties and factions.
Compare that to the much larger UK House of Commons, where there are 16 parties and Independents but where, out of 650 MPs, 562 belong to only two of those parties.
Why is the Israeli parliament so fragmented? It may be that there is something in the Jewish psychology that tends to dissension, dissidence etc. That was certainly true of the various Marxist factions that used to exist in the Western world, especially in the realms of Trotskyism.
There again, the Israeli proportional representation system has a low threshold for representation: 3.25% (it was 1% at one time). In fact, there has never been a one-party-majority government in Israel.
Another aspect yet is that most of those parties were started not long ago. The main Opposition party, Yesh Atid, was only formed in 2012. Several others were formed even more recently, in the past two or three years. Likud, the presently largest party, was founded in 1973.
Well, there it is. A peculiar country. Interesting though. I am interested generally in countries which are contrived or artificial, as Israel surely is. Singapore would be another example. They tend to be small geographically; Israel is almost exactly the size of Wales (or New Jersey), while Singapore is not even twice the size of the Isle of Wight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singapore.
Farm subsidies
Listening to some typical farm-owner whining on BBC Radio 4 Today Programme. Farmers in the UK always want it both ways, to be treated as independent businessmen and women, but given State subsidy or support at the same time. For me, it just does not wash.
One farmer had the right sort of ideas about small-scale farming, biodiversity, organics etc, yet wanted public money, in effect for not being an environmental vandal. Why should the public subsidize farmers at all? Better to impose environmental and animal welfare regulations, restrict imports, and let the farms be real private “businesses”. Alternatively, to put them largely into State ownership but give environment-friendly farmers or collectives long-term (even lifetime) leases.

Soon, there will be the Batley and Spen by-election. I shall be blogging about it in a week or so. The Labour Party vote has suffered a gradual decline in that constituency since the rigged by-election in 2016. After the assassination of Jo Cox, the System parties conspired to get another Labour Party MP elected, so an ex-soap actress was parachuted in, and the Conservative and LibDem parties did not stand. Pathetically, “controlled opposition” UKIP also failed to put up a candidate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batley_and_Spen_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2010s.
Now Labour is relying, in the Batley by-election, on a kind of “sympathy vote” by putting up the sister of that assassinated MP. Pretty desperate…

Perhaps so, but if the idea was to prevent “subversives” from taking over the BBC or heavily infiltrating it, the policy was a signal failure in the wider sense. The BBC, at the head of the UK msm, has been the flagship for the socio-political collapse of Britain, and has supported every rotten cause of the past 50 years.
The most necessary thing in the UK is not even, as a first step, a political purge, but a purge of the mainstream media in general. Not just lying news media and “journalist” scribblers but, inter alia, the whole range of “celebrities”, comedians, show business types etc.
Some readers have assumed that I must have or had a personal dislike of Hendron. Not so. In fact, I had never even heard of him until I read about his Old Bailey trial, very lenient sentence, and his even more lenient treatment by the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal(s) before which he subsequently appeared.
My animus, if such it be (and incredulity), is a result of the incredible difference between the way in which I was treated (for having tweeted 5 tweets, completely true and accurate and [but] hostile to Jews or at least Jewish influence) and Hendron’s treatment for his egregious defaults, as chronicled. Read my blog post.
I also found it incredible, reading his tweets, that Hendron seemed incapable of thinking and writing logically, or of constructing a literate English sentence. However, the Bar is now a dustbin, so what more can I say? If the Bar thinks that it is OK to have, as practising barrister, someone of Hendron’s type, unable to write or argue coherently, and of (in several ways) dubious character, then that is a matter for the Bar dustbin-profession as it now is.
Now I see this: https://www.legalfutures.co.uk/latest-news/high-court-overturns-barristers-suspension-due-to-lacuna. It turns out that Hendron had his lenient Bar sanction made even more lenient by reason of the fact that, being already suspended at the time of the proceedings, the Tribunal had no power to notionally suspend him further, or indeed apply ay sanctions to him, because he was not a “regulated person” at the time.
I had an exemplary record as a barrister, received several judicial commendations, was mentioned favourably in the main legal directories, and was never suspended from practice, but when the Jewish lobby (“UK Lawyers for Israel”, nominally) instigated my disbarment (complaint 2014, disbarment late 2016), I had not been in practice since 2008, and had not had a Bar “practice certificate” since that time. The disbarment was a completely politically-motivated msm farce orchestrated by a pack of Zionist Jews (“UK Lawyers for Israel”, many of whom also belong to the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” who have persecuted Alison Chabloz for years).
At the said proceedings (more specifically, in the considerable documentation that preceded the actual hearing), I made the point that I had not been “regulated” since 2008 (a point, I might add, that Hendron, in his own case, missed…the Counsel instructed by the Bar Standards Board —very honestly— raised it against his own interest).
I was (wrongfully) disbarred (on that basis and in any case), but (to give them credit at least for that) the Bar Standards Board actually wrote to me a year or two after my highly-publicized hearing (Google “Ian Millard barrister” and read what the msm said about me at the time). The BSB then gave me the chance to apply to have my disbarment overturned, on a basis akin to that of Hendron. I suppose that must have been somehow connected with the internal Bar fallout from Hendron’s matter.
In other words, I would still be a barrister today, had I applied. However, for me, there would have been little point, I having had no intention to resume Bar practice, though I suppose that it would have denied the Jew-Zionist pack and their “antifascist” “useful idiots” the opportunity to describe me on Twitter, frequently, and with unsurprising lack of originality, as “disgraced and disbarred barrister Ian Millard” or, as at least one mentally-disturbed Jewish woman often does, on Twitter, as “disbarred Barista“! Well, if I say so myself, I do make a rather good cup of coffee, though I have never done so as a paid occupation…
As far as the egregious Hendron is concerned, his travails continue, and he is at present again before a Bar Disciplinary Tribunal. I believe that it presently stands adjourned.
I had thought that Hendron was being given very lenient treatment because either he was (I assumed) from a very privileged background, or that he “knew too much” about illicit activities of senior members of Bar and Bench. Well, I read somewhere that Hendron went to some comprehensive school, so that would only seem to leave the “knows too much” theory…

Well, there it is— the new multikulti panicdemic UK police state, staffed by toytown police drones. Notionally done “for good reasons”, the police and others no doubt imagine…
1/2 The police invasion (on a Covid pretext) of a Good Friday devotion at an RC Church in Balham (apparently with a Polish congregation) must open everyone's eyes to the fact that this is no longer a Christian country.
2/2 I suspect older worshippers were all too familiar with Utopian state hostility to the worship of a rival authority. The officers seemed unfamiliar with church in general. Poignant that Met Police badge is still surmounted by a cross, on the Crown of St Edward.

As with Professor Brian Cox, there are two sorts of “famous scientists”, the ones who make new discoveries and undertake research of importance, and those who are basically people making careers and money out of appearing on TV, radio, in print, and on official committees. Yes, but…Monsieur Rentoul, those other crises were not used as a method of bringing in a police state by stealth. The Great Reset and the Great Replacement (etc). The “panicdemic” is being so used, and not only in the UK.
Well, this week I got 6/10, thus again beating John Rentoul who scored 5/10. I did not know the answers to questions 4, 6, 7, and 9 (and had to rack my brains to get question 10).
When I lived in Kazakhstan, in 1996-97 (a full year), I invited a friend at the Bar (let’s call him “Teddy”), a train buff par excellence, to visit me in Almaty (former Alma-Ata) by train. I found out what that would entail: a Eurostar journey from London to Paris or Brussels, then a train journey to Moscow, where he would have to change trains by going to another of Moscow’s several mainline stations. Then a 77-hour journey across the Russian countryside and then steppe to Almaty.
Like the character in, I think, one of Evelyn Waugh’s novels, Teddy thought that “abroad was bloody”, and told me that, because of his ideological opposition to the Channel Tunnel (I first heard of UKIP from him, maybe a year or two before a lady with whom I lunched told me about it), he would be unable to come. I think that the real reason was that he was nervous about negotiating his way across Moscow alone and with not a word of Russian; that, and the sheer discomfort of 77 hours on a post-Soviet express train. Thus Teddy missed out on seeing a then rather green and pleasant city full of pretty girls.
I quite like trains, though it does help, on a really long journey, if you are lucky enough to have the sort of accommodation used by the Tsars of all the Russias, or that of the Orient Express. When Andrei Sakharov was recruited to Stalin’s hydrogen bomb project, he travelled to the secret town where it was to be made aboard his own train car at the rear of a normal passenger train. The carriage contained a bedroom for Sakharov and his wife, a dining room, a kitchen operated by a cook, a lounge area, and accommodation for his several NKVD bodyguards (or should that just be “guards”?).
My own longest train journey was an involuntary one in the 1980s from Vienna to Ostend, and very uncomfortable it was. On the morning of the second day (departure having been in early evening), I got out at Cologne, wearing only a dressing gown, in order to buy pretzels on the platform. It was then that the train started to move. Had it not briefly stopped about 10 seconds later, giving me time to get aboard (non-central closing doors, thank God), I should have been stuck at Cologne Station with almost no money, no clothes, and no proper shoes; no passport either.

Update, 22 March 2022
Once again, I look at a fairly old blog post, only to find that many of the embedded tweets have been expunged by Twitter, leaving just blank space. The death of free speech is here, pretty much.
When I first had a Twitter account, a decade ago, I began to tweet, inter alia, about the need for a wildlife grid in the UK. I meant a grid of strips or parcels of land, even if very narrow in places, that would link larger areas full of wildlife, such as woods, forests, national parks etc.
That idea is even more important today. I am heartened that, since I started to tweet and, later, blog about it, others have taken up the idea; some are well-connected, wealthy, famous. I think that, eventually, something can be done.
My concept was not nationalization of those strips of land, but a voluntary co-operation, co-ordinated for the sake of convenience and efficiency, but the ownership remaining, in most cases, in private hands, at least initially.

The area where I spent much of my childhood, the border of South Oxfordshire and Berkshire, near Reading, as now seen on Google Earth, exhibits the kind of changes that are all too common: high hedges replaced, usually by sterile fencing, some gardens in front of houses turned into gravelled or even concrete car parking. Sad. Why do people spend what is now the best part of a million pounds on a house in a leafy area, where suburb meets country, only to aesthetically trash their own house and gardens? Just to save a little inconvenience trimming the hedges? To save the cost of hiring a man to trim the hedges? It’s so tawdry…
A wildlife grid is probably the most important single measure that can and should be taken to help the survival of wildlife in the UK.

In 1976, as an occasional (19 years old) reader of the anarchist newspaper Black Flag, I saw an article by someone saying that the State wanted to track and trace everyone, “because the human insect must be controlled at all times“. It seemed far-fetched to me at the time, but it stuck in the mind. Now look! A technologically-updated version is today’s news on the BBC!
I suppose that that sort of thing happens more often than we suppose. Around the same time, I read in an American journal, the name of which escapes me, that before too long the U.S. Marines would be deployed to help Israel in the Eastern Mediterranean. They even had a parody version of the U.S. Marines Hymn, replacing “From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli” with “From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tel Aviv.”
I thought that unlikely, but a few short years later both versions turned out to be correct, the first almost literally, though the “Tripoli” in the Hymn is the one in North Africa, not the one in Lebanon; the second, about Tel Aviv, only in effect:
Exactly: if it turns out twice as many people have had a coronavirus than believed, and assuming these were all cases of #Covid19, then it has to be half as deadly as initially claimed. However, it is never reported that way.

Green Shield stamps are of course unknown to anyone under about 35, having been withdrawn in 1991 and having been in the doldrums for years (their heyday was really the late 1960s and early 1970s). What I find interesting is something peripheral to them and Argos.
When Tompkins, then a fairly famous fellow in the UK, founded Argos in 1972, the conventional wisdom of the “experts”(newspaper business pundits etc) was that Tompkins was a bit of a maverick or even loony, not a serious businessman, and who had bitten off more than he could chew. Argos would probably fail fairly quickly. I recall those judgments from when I myself was at school.
Well, that was over 48 years ago. Argos was sold by its founder in 1979 to BAT; the last time it changed hands, a few years ago, the price tag was £1.4 billion…
There are always those who are ready to criticize those others who are willing to break new ground. Another similar time was in the 1980s, when Rupert Murdoch moved into satellite TV broadcasting. I recall someone then looking at the Daily Telegraph business pages and saying that “everyone” says that this would break Murdoch. Well, it nearly did, but he persevered, and now look! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Television_(1984%E2%80%931990)https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_UK
Beware the “experts”, who often know a lot but, equally, are often wrong in the end. Like fire, a good servant but a bad master.
Seems that Trump wants to “delay” the Presidential election. Is that simply a wild tweet, or is this the beginning of the end for the American republic and its accustomed form of democracy? Too early to say.

Ian Austin – the ultimate scumbag. Expenses fiddler, first and second house flipper, Tory enabler and treacherous low-life thug. All the qualities that have led to him being nominated for a peerage by Boris Johnson for services rendered to politics.
Seems that the notorious “GnasherJew” account on Twitter has fallen victim to the occupational disease of self-described “anti-fascists” (especially the Jewish ones)— mental instability.
We’re a bit overwhelmed with your kind words. Thankyou, we’ll miss you all, (but not the racists and the backstabbers). See you all in another life!

“You carry in your blood the holy inheritance of your fathers and forefathers. You do not know those who have vanished in endless ranks into the darkness of the past. But they all live in you and walk in your blood upon the earth that consumed them in battle and toil and in which their bodies have long decayed.
Your blood is therefore something holy. In it your parents gave you not only a body, but your nature. To deny your blood is to deny yourself. No one canchange it. But each decides to grow the good that one has inherited and suppress the bad. Each is also given will and courage.
You do not have only the right, but also the duty to pass your blood on to your children, for you are a member of the chain of generations that reaches from the past into eternity, and this link of the chain that you represent must do its part so that the chain is never broken.
But if your blood has traits that will make your children unhappy and burdens to the state, then you have the heroic duty to be the last. The blood is the carrier of life. You carry in it the secret of creation itself. Your blood is holy, for in it God’s will lives.”

True, the slogan was vulgar, but not such as to constitute an offence such as “insulting behaviour”, particularly as it was presumably not meant to cause distress etc to Boris Johnson (who was in any case not present!). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intentional_harassment,_alarm_or_distress
When I had a Twitter account, Eric Joyce, then still an MP, was rather rude to me once or twice. On another occasion, his wife or fiancee (I think the latter), the newspaper scribbler and novelist India Knight, was also rather rude to me, in her case in a very condescending way. My tweet was about MPs who cheat and freeload on the expenses system. At the time, I had no idea that Joyce was one of the worst of such embezzlers, nor that India Knight was living with him (or vice versa).
Well, I suppose one should not kick people when they are down. What I wonder is what drove someone who was once an officer, and later an MP, to do such a nasty and stupid thing (I mean his latest offence).
I had thought that Joyce had been an officer in the Black Watch. In fact, he was a private soldier at first, and his commission was in the Educational Corps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Joyce. He was asked to resign his commission in 1999, having engaged in public politics contrary to Queen’s Regulations. He became an MP in 2000, having been employed in the interim period at the Commission for Racial Equality. Black mark…
That is just abuse @deb_cohen, which has nothing to do with the point under discussion. You’re supposed to be a professional specialist, but you badly misread my tweet, then, when your error was pointed out, chose not to admit it but switched to personal rudeness. Not very good. https://t.co/hkbDhr1AWP
I am just sick of the bloody BBC: entitled, biased, a government mouthpiece, with terrible standards in recent years, an ideology of treachery etc. The BBC management even had to ask staff not to wear their “Black Lives Matter” badges (!) on air! They’re all just a bunch of traitors. Many are (((you know who))), too…
Twitter just suspended 50+ accounts for violating TOS around white nationalism & hate speech.
Among those who were suspended was Martin Sellner, the leader of Austria's Identitarian Movement, as well as members of Generation Identity.https://t.co/amJctzpkXe
The purge on dissent, and on free speech, continues. Once all peaceful means of socio-political expression are cut off, what, I wonder, will the people of Europe then do? Those who clap the campaign of repression may find themselves in a bad place, somewhere down the line…
@jamesd03433770.No, they are not. Despite an admitted blunder over care homes, similar to that in the UK, Sweden’s deaths per million are below the levels of several countries, including the U.K., which had severe shutdowns. Easy to check. https://t.co/s1N8K1j7zI
“Fewer than 24 people are catching coronavirus each day in London, new modelling suggests, with forecasts predicting the virus could be wiped out in the capital within a fortnight.
If cases continue to decrease at the current rate, the virus will be virtually eliminated in the capital by the end of the month, raising questions about whether the strict lockdown measures would need to continue.” [Daily Telegraph]
After leaving their traps, they no doubt go home to stand outside their homes, virtue-signalling by clapping like drunken seals “for the NHS”.
Government subsidy for the self-employed
“A government scheme to support self-employed workers signed up 440,000 people on its first day at a cost of £1.3bn, according to the Treasury.
The self-employment income support scheme (SEISS) provides workers whose finances have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic with a cash grant of 80% of their average monthly trading profits up to a cap of £2,500, backdated to cover the last three months.
Launched this week, more than two weeks ahead of schedule, the scheme is expected to support up to 3.5 million of the UK’s 5.2 million self-employed people.” [Guardian]
We are plunging our country into the worst financial crisis in history. We cannot allow this to continue.
The medium to long term impact on healthcare, education and public services will be catastrophic. This lockdown is not saving any lives at all. Enough is enough.
What strikes me first is how “autres temps autres mœurs“…
In the past decade particularly, we have seen the way in which the Conservative Party governments (aided in 2010-2015 by their LibDem enablers) stigmatized the poor, and particularly the poor who are also unemployed and/or disabled, and living on mostly very modest State benefit monies.
Many people who are now gratefully in receipt of the “furlough” payments for furloughed employees, and those who are applying for what amounts to the new State benefit for the (supposedly) “self-employed”, will have voted “Conservative” in the past 10 years. Amazing how attitudes change with circumstances…
While the new “benefits” are modest (the maximum claimable is £2,500 per month), they are still more than almost all unemployed and disabled can claim (even if Housing Benefit etc is included in the latter categories’ monies).
It reminds me of the attitudes of the farmers, who like to pretend that they are self-standing independent people running agricultural businesses, yet who “accept” farm subsidies and grants at (under the system as it now is, which may change) around £150 an acre merely for owning or renting land, fundamentally. A farmer with 200 acres (the overall average), will get 200 x £150, so about £30,000 a year. Not huge, but still pretty good for doing effectively nothing (a simplification, but one cannot get into more here)! That sum will be payable whether the farm makes £100,000 profit, £10,000 profit, nothing, or a loss.
The farmers do not see themselves as being “on benefits”, of course! You only have to listen to BBC Radio 4 Farming Today to hear the convoluted arguments and language they and the NFU farmers’ lobby employ to justify their subsidies (“providing a service“, “doing environmental work“, “growing the food the nation/world needs“, “ensuring Britain’s food security” etc…). Anything but “we want the State to pay us for owning land“, though occasionally you do hear “without the farm payments, half the farmers in England will go out of business“. And your point is?… The coal mines, steel works etc used to say the same.
Is it April the First?
There are now so many red flag warnings that Western society has gone mad that it is hard to select from the hundreds, thousands, of examples. What about this?!
One of the few good things about the Coronavirus situation is that, up until now, it has pushed Greta Nut off the news agenda. Now, those behind her have managed to inveigle her back on, despite her lack of any knowledge or qualification.
Economic ruination?
“Almost half of UK businesses are within six months of running out of cash, despite the lifeline provided by the government’s furlough scheme, according to the latest official snapshot of how firms are faring.
In its fortnightly survey on the economic impact of Covid-19, the Office for National Statistics found 44% of firms that responded said their reserves would last for less than six months.”
“About 27% said they had cash that would last beyond six months.” [The Guardian]
So only a quarter of UK enterprises have cash reserves sufficient to last them beyond November of this year? Sobering.
“When the government put the economy into lockdown in March a third (33%) of those surveyed said they thought it would take six months or more for the country to bounce back to its pre-crisis state, but that figure has risen to 46%.” [The Guardian]
The “furlough” and other recent Government schemes are expensive in themselves (at least £8 billion per month, and now more, with the “self-employed” subsidy), but a debt of that sort (meaning eventually perhaps £100 billion) is at a level that can be handled, given that the UK can at present borrow at long-term rock-bottom interest rates
The economist Jonathan Portes was making that point only this morning on the BBC Radio 4 Today Programme. If I heard correctly, he thought that it worked out at £30 per person per year (interest or interest + capital repayment? I have seen £100 per year as a combined figure). In any event, not catastrophic. A long-term national debt burden.
What would be catastrophic would be a general economic collapse. Were that to happen, the pound sterling would fall like a stone (despite the similar problems in other countries, particularly EU countries). That in turn would make imports prohibitively expensive. Britain imports (including raw materials) about 80% of its food.
In addition, a general economic collapse would cause enormous unemployment, in that genuine employment would be hit, and so would the basically fake (short-term, “gig economy”, part-time, zero-hours) employment and (equally fake, really) “self-employment” of millions.
Still, as Lenin put it, “worse will mean better…” meaning that, for us now, and in 2021-22, there might be, for the first time in my present lifetime, a realistic chance for social nationalism in the UK.
White genocide
The tweeter below sees, in the Daily Mail‘s cropping of a photo, “white racism” but I see something else— the cover-up around “the Great Replacement” of whites by non-whites in Europe.
Compare the #DailyMail front cover photo and the stock photo they used – and notice anything about the people they cropped out? pic.twitter.com/8dG38mU0vD
When I was a child, in the early and mid 1960s (I was in Australia 1967-69), Britain was an almost-entirely white country (despite the lies put out to the masses by shows such as Grantchester, Endeavour, various other popular TV shows). Certainly you never saw many, if any, blacks or browns etc in most of the country or even in Central London (there were enclaves in ports such as Liverpool and Cardiff). In fact, the only black person I believe I ever saw in England was the consultant (ear, nose, throat) from somewhere in the Caribbean, whom I saw when aged about 6, maybe 7, at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Now, the BBC and the msm generally have stolen British (and other European) history, right back to the Middle Ages, and even to Roman Britain and earlier!
I don't have a problem with Jewish people individually, I have a problem with them as a collective wanting an Ethno-state of their own (using supremacist tactics), while pushing for open borders, multi-culturalism, mass immigration & pro-degeneracy on White European people.
The Conservatives have slipped back to 51% popularity. What, I wonder, would David Cameron-Levita or Theresa May not have given for such a level of support? However, it is merely popularity by default, given that Labour support continues to bump along the bottom, a function of irrelevance.
You wanted me to wear a face mask? Here it is, even though the WHO says 'If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with COVID-19.'https://t.co/xC6QBEr5Cmpic.twitter.com/tDaByf9Dh4
Indeed @mrpjdonovan. People who got married in the 1970s are so embarrassed by how they looked that they often do not display their wedding photos. Yet at the time they thought it all quite reasonable. https://t.co/Zx42iySX6d
Hard to argue against the above Hitchens comment, looking at the present government of fools.
“There is no correlation between fatalities and lockdown stringency. The most stringent lockdowns – as in China, Italy, Spain, New Zealand and Britain – have yielded both high and low deaths per million. Hi-tech has apparently “worked” in South Korea, but so has no-tech in Sweden. Sweden’s 319 deaths per million is far ahead of locked-down Norway’s 40 and Denmark’s 91, but it’s well behind locked-down UK’s 465 and Spain’s 569.” [The Guardian]
“Britain’s last experience of protracted national disruption, Jim Callaghan’s Labour government continued to lead the Conservatives in some polls. But as the crisis dragged on, and seemed increasingly beyond Callaghan’s control, the government’s ratings collapsed and never fully recovered.
If that happens to Johnson, the disconnect between his popularity and his political abilities will stop being a mystery that columns like this try to solve. His long hold over voters and the media, ever since he won the mayoralty in usually Labour-supporting London 12 years ago, will be seen as a bit of a con – like an enticing but dodgy company that eventually went bust.”
All well and good, but if the public get fed up (enough) with Boris-idiot and his government of fools, to where do they turn? Britain, or at least England, has a basically binary system. When the “other party” is flat on its back, defeated, irrelevant, as Labour now is, will the electorate turn to it? Doubtful, especially with someone like Keir Starmer as leader and MPs such as Rachel Reeves around him. You never know, and the System loves the pointless ping-pong on Con-Lab politics, but Labour has no real base any more, in any sense; unless you say that Labour’s base is now the affluent but virtue-signalling London multikulti types, and the Twitterati, together with the ethnic minorities (except Jews) and public service people. The old Labour of the steel mills, the coal mines, the transport unions, the (now near-irrelevant) TUC, has disappeared.
Again, this should be, in theory, the time when social nationalism rises up to destroy the evil ones, but there is no such party, no such movement. Yet.
There’s a “world leader” (or when she feels like it, a mentally-afflicted little girl) who is telling YOU what to DO or NOT DO…OR ELSE!
Over 4 million on #ClimateStrike today. In 163 countries. And counting… If you belong to the small number of people who feel threatened by us, then we we have some very bad news for you: This is just the beginning. Change is coming – like it or not. #FridaysForFuturepic.twitter.com/MHGRNx1tnH
The little nut seems a bit short on arithmetic, in that the best estimate for world population at present is nearly 8 billion, i.e. 8,000,000,000; 4 million is therefore equivalent to one individual out of (roughly, about) every two thousand people…you could even call those on “climate strike” something like “a small number”. Greta really should just go back to school…
I'm not at all surprised. A 16 year old schoolgirl doesn't get access to the EU, the UN and the pope without people with a lot of money and power pulling the strings. Poor Greta, who suffers from severe Asperger Syndrome, is actually a victim of her own parents. https://t.co/LtWjkOcCFp
This sums it up. Greta represents rich, conceited, holier-than-thou people, like Soros, who do not give a damn for billions who aspire to a decent life. She is the enemy of the majority of people. “I am fine so to hell with you.” It’s that simple. Let’s defeat this fake doomsday. https://t.co/h5vIGZhNSR
Greta Thunberg doesn’t like it when people question her motives or those of those behind her:
I am indeed ”deeply disturbed” about the fact that these hate and conspiracy campaigns are allowed to go on and on and on just because we children communicate and act on the science. Where are the adults? pic.twitter.com/xDSlN0VgtZ
There we have it: she is “deeply disturbed” (well, I can agree with her about that!) that anyone is “allowed” to speak about her other than in tones of adulation. She is of course from Sweden, where people are used to being told that they are “not allowed” to put forward certain dissenting views, for example about the migration-invasion that has led to an epidemic of crime generally, rape, murder, where often the victims are girls like Greta Thunberg (who says nothing, it seems, about all that).
…and isn’t it odd that, at least when it suits her, she talks about “we children” etc? Is she the only 16 year old (17 in January 2020) in the world that talks about herself as being a child? Yes, she looks stunted and undeveloped, but this is another way of trying to manipulate the situation.
Any school students unwilling to go along with the fake “school strikes” (organized truanting) in Sweden face ostracism or worse:
We have to be clear here: Greta Thunberg is not a scientist (how could she be, at her age?) and in fact seems to know nothing about science in much depth. She has been reading popular accounts about science for a number of years, and is obsessed with the idea that “the end of the world is nigh”. She is a kind of fundamentalist, putting “The Science” in place of a religious totem, demanding that everyone in the world agree with her cartoon view of “The Science” and the world, and threatening those who dissent or (what may well be even more triggering for her) who ignore her.
It interests me that, in a society so “nanny-state” as Sweden, Greta Thunberg was allowed to sit outside the Swedish Parliament, the Riksdag, for a solid three weeks during term-time, protesting against “climate change”. No-one tried to interfere, not the police, not the all-powerful Swedish social workers, not her school. No-one. There is more to this than just a stunted autistic and mentally-afflicted schoolgirl making a lone protest, though it all probably started in that way, as a genuine cri de coeur of some kind by a fixated girl with mental and physical problems.
She seems to think that she can see “carbon emissions”!
Well if she genuinely thinks she can see Carbon emissions then I’ll be treating her other pronouncements with scepticism https://t.co/SST3MsAM4q
If you genuinely think Greta Thunberg isn’t a vulnerable child being exploited by her parents & every adult around her to further their political aims, you need to read what Greta’s own mother says about her deeply troubled child. It’s heart-breaking. https://t.co/m9QWWY9WpZ
Of course, it seems trivial and even tawdry to say that money might be involved somewhere, at least for those behind Greta Thunberg, but if it is true that she (or her parents?) get USD $10,000 a pop for appearances, it does at least raise questions:
An on that subject I found this:https://t.co/wZnOFzrbHM And then if you consider you could earn anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 for speaking at a conferance as well as all your fee's paid for, there's a big motivation.
As a matter of fact, it now appears that there is a move to award Greta Thunberg the Nobel Peace Prize (commonly, though admittedly not always, given to those who, with appropriate “piety” and virtue-signalling, cause mayhem and chaos in the world). That prize is worth between one and two million pounds in cash; of course the recipient is henceforth a world-famous figure (for the rest of his or her life) and can expect to write bestselling books (or have them ghostwritten) etc.
Greta Thunberg has her supporters, usually the unthinking virtue-signallers of Twitter.
When will you fuck off with the manipulation. you racist pig @KTHopkins all you do is bend the truth to suit your fascist ways. https://t.co/qPphQm3boA
“Slowthai” is the half-caste “rapper” (he’s half-Irish, half-Barbadian) who was widely publicized after appearing on stage with the apparently-severed head of Boris Johnson:
His best-known record (though I had never heard of either him or it until his recent 15 mins of fame on stage with Boris Johnson’s “head”) is apparently called Nothing Great About Britain; in other words, he is yet another enemy of Britain given succour by the country he hates, but he will not be prosecuted, unlike Alison Chabloz, who was prosecuted in 2018 for singing satirical songs about “holocaust” frauds, and who is now (2019) out on bail pending appeal, she having been imprisoned briefly just last week on a trumped-up charge relating to alleged breach of condition of the 2018 sentence.
Whatever you think of Greta Thunberg (I’ve never got why so many blokes of a certain age get so angry & threatened by her & find her message so offensive), she is an impressive person. Who amongst us could address an international body like this at any age pic.twitter.com/fLhkStgaAt
So back to Greta Thunberg. Impressive? Not really. A mentally-disturbed, autistic girl emoting, having been told that she is a world figure and almost a world leader. Can it really be that people like tweeter “@BeardedGenius” do not discern the sheer hate emanating from Greta Thunberg? Her wish to make people do what she wants and believe exactly what she believes is shockingly obvious. Not to all, though. Her words alone! “We are watching you“…(and the audience of rabbits all applaud…).
Once again, Greta Thunberg displays her two-sided approach:
at first the Swedish juvenile version of Joan of Arc, demanding compliance in the name of, if not God, then at least “The Science” (which cannot be questioned, even if parroted from the lips of a 16-year-old scientifically-unqualified autistic and fanatic);
if questioned, the other side comes out: “I am just a little girl, with all these bad men questioning and criticizing me” and “I should not be here; I should be back in school [and I should not be questioned]”.
A host of “useful idiots” have joined in, attacking anyone with the temerity not to go along with the agenda of Greta Thunberg or whoever has decided to push her into the spotlight of msm publicity. My response to the “useful idiots” would be to say that if someone tries to make statements of a political nature, with the intent of changing the present world civilization, then that person must expect to have ideas and policies analyzed, questioned etc. It is not enough for Greta Thunberg either to project angry hate or to squeal “leave me alone, I’m only a little schoolgirl.”
For once, I can actually agree with Jeremy Clarkson, who called Greta Thunberg “a spoilt brat”:
The sheer hatred the Thunberg girl shows can be seen all the time, as in her stare at Donald Trump, as he walks past (though if anyone famous deserves such hostility, it is probably him, admittedly).
In fact, what Greta Thunberg did not like in New York was that Trump upstaged her and ignored her. She was just a visiting spectator at that moment. Greta Nut then retreated into her angry little girl box:
Not that Greta Thunberg is wrong to be very worried about the future of the world and its environment. I have blogged about that myself on a number of occasions [see Notes, below].
However, Greta Thunberg has no developed ideas about how to prevent what she claims is imminent climate and environmental catastrophe except for the world (and especially the advanced European-race parts of the world) to revert to some fantasy arcadia almost immediately.
Greta Thunberg supports the Extinction Rebellion protests, which have not achieved anything and never will achieve anything beyond (if tolerated) creation of socio-economic chaos. I have blogged about Extinction Rebellion quite recently:
The Extinction Rebellion protesters are, in some cases, well-meaning and are not entirely wrong in thinking that “time is running out”, but those people are unwilling to accept that the root cause of the world’s environmental calamity is the sheer number of inhabitants now on the Earth. It follows that the only realistic way for the Earth to recover is a massive reduction in the size of that population.
Since 1945, there has been a huge increase in the population of the world. That is common knowledge. What is less known is that the bulk of the population increase has been in only a few areas of the world. Indeed, China and India account for much of it. Europe’s population has not grown much. In fact, if you take out the non-Europeans living now in Europe, there is stasis and in some cases a reduction.
White Genocide is not a “conspiracy theory”. It is reality, even if the Swedish autistic and those controlling and managing her prefer to ignore it. A recent statistic is compelling: of all the women in the world presently pregnant, only 2% are “white”, i.e. of European origin. Northern European women? A yet-lower number, by far.
Without Europeans, positive evolution stops.
Greta Thunberg is a catspaw. There are big and powerful forces behind her now, just as the Extinction Rebellion protesters were allowed (at first) to take over the streets of London for days— until Londoners started to smell a rat: “why is this being allowed?”, after which the police started to arrest a number of “useful idiots”, though not those running the protests, not Emma Thompson and other “celebrity” fellow-travellers…
Others have been brought to prominence by the msm and the so-called “world community” in the recent past, including Malala Yousefzai [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malala_Yousafzai]. When I saw that girl, I certainly did think, in her case, that this is someone of remarkable mentality, likely to become a world leader (unlike Greta Thunberg, who will never become more than an angry would-be little tyrant, in my opinion). I did also, though, find Malala rather disturbing. Alien. It also has to be noted that, as in similar cases, powerful cosmopolitan forces have supported Malala Yousefzai, and are no doubt trying to find the right pathway for her to take a leading role in Asia. In some respects that is a good thing, just as it is good that the world starts to think seriously about the environment, but we have to be alert to evil posing as the good.
In the new censored, sanitized (of social nationalism and most rational thought) Twitter, the “useful idiots” are there supporting the new heroine of “zero carbon emissions now!” while booking their latest city break…These are often the same people who, simultaneously, want the UK and other European states to accept vast numbers of backward migrant-invaders and want the UK, France etc to have better social services, higher pay and State benefits, good housing for all, better health services (etc). They do not want reality.
“What do we want? Zero carbon emissions! When do we want to live like cavedwellers in a society of violent chaos? Now!”
The “useful idiots” of our times…
As Hitler said of many of the Weimar Republic people, “they want not only their daily bread but their daily illusion”…
India: 1.3 Billion Pakistan: 202 Million Nigeria: 193 Million Bangladesh: 165 Million Ethiopia: 107 Million Congo: 84 Million Great Britian: 66 Million
and look at this (below)! What strikes me is how very restrained the London travelling public is! That smug entitled old bitch really should have had her head kicked in. To adapt the words of Little Greta Nut, “how dare” that old bitch decide that ordinary people should have their lives disrupted so that said old bitch (who no doubt lives very comfortably in the country somewhere, probably with monies invested in the economy she wants to bring down…) can make a meaningless gesture. Her smug smirk says it all. She knows that the people she is basically fucking about are not going to hurt her— because she is a woman, and is above retirement age, just as Greta Nut hides behind her “I’m only a little child who should be in school” shield (while she threatens others).
What I love most about this is that ordinary commuters are asking the questions of the Extinction Rebellion activists that most journalists covering their protests have failed to do. “How did you get here? Did you walk? You’re a hypocrite.” https://t.co/7aPATOjpJV
In a way, I have to say that I respect the self-restraint of those Londoners. In some other countries, the old bitch would have been just stomped on (and frankly I do not think that she could have complained, plausibly).
Social anthropologist Benny Peiser tells Cambridge University's 'spoiled green students' that what they want would kill millions (see Extinction Rebellion) https://t.co/lUlDSe2JKspic.twitter.com/LiDYVMBa7b
Below, one of Greta Nut’s followers, trainee “Buddhist teacher” Mark Ovland, 36, who “gave up his ‘studies'” (in Buddhism) to become a full-time Extinction Rebellion activist, kicks someone in the head before he is dragged off the roof of an Underground train and (I hope) is given a good kicking (though he was able to stand up several seconds later, thanks to the forbearance of the Londoners whose lives he is deliberately disrupting). So at the age of 36, this waste of space has no job, no profession, not even any real study programme. Is he a “trustafarian”?…Oh, and I do not recall Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King or other “peaceful resistance” luminaries (or Gautama Buddha for that matter) kicking anyone in the head!
A new poll has found that just 8% of people support the message and methods of protest used by Extinction Rebellion, suggesting the group’s recent activism has been a total failure.https://t.co/1W7Omdq97G#ExtinctionRebellion
All those @ExtinctionR@XRLondon protestors need to read this. You’re being duped, folks! I welcome friendly discussion about what XR means to you, no rudeness please. https://t.co/iaXSiHn9Ja

Update, 3 December 2019
““People are underestimating the power of angry children. We are annoyed and frustrated, but for good reason.” [Greta Thunberg]
Greta Nut is still at it! Still calling herself “child”, even though she is 17 years old in about 4 weeks. Still powerlessly threatening. Still with no real ideas. Still trying to raise a second Children’s Crusade. For ***** sake just bin the silly, nasty little thing!
No, not the pathetic platitudinous drivel put out by BBC Radio 4 early every morning, but my own “thought for the day”!
If there were no, or very few, blacks, browns, Chinese etc in the world, the present relatively small minority of white Northern Europeans and their offshoots would be able to live lives of unparalleled comfort and plenty, without bothering about (human-caused) “climate change”, without worrying about “emissions” etc, while protecting the animals, birds etc of the world, and while evolving consciousness to higher levels.
Update, 14 December 2019
Now Little Greta Nut wants to put world leaders “up against a wall”! She has started to believe the propaganda put out by her “minders” to the effect that the little nut is herself a “world figure” and player, rather than a silly and misshapen little puppet.
Meanwhile some very silly Scandinavian Jew has a complete propaganda piece published in The Independent, lauding the little nut, who now “needs a well-deserved rest”.
The claim seems to be that she has influenced untold thousands of little rabbits who want to pretend that they are “changing the world” by “liking” a tweet or a Facebook post.
Ha ha! Get the little nut (very soon 17 years old, by the way) a job, if she will not return to school! Assistant gardener might be about right.
Update, 27 December 2019
and the madness continues! (see below). Who can now doubt that Greta Thunberg is anything other than a “Manchurian Candidate” for our times? The System is promoting her for a reason…
The only update is that Greta Nut announced, from Sweden, that she “suspected” that she had been infected, on her travels, with Coronavirus and so had “self-isolated”. Well, I “suspect” that Greta Nut, pushed out of the msm limelight by Coronavirus news, is desperate to become again an item on the international msm news agenda, and so has been trying to get onto the Coronavirus bandwagon.
I would not rule out this Greta creature eventually committing suicide or going totally mad in 5, 10, 15 years’ time, once she loses her “little girl becomes world leader” u.s.p. and ceases to get onto even the end of the mainstream news agenda. The msm is already losing interest in her.
Illusion is something that many prefer to reality, as this cartoon indicates:
“They want not only their daily bread but also their daily illusion.” [Adolf Hitler, talking about many Germans during the decadent Weimar Republic of 1918-1933]
The Green Party
This blog article was prompted by a tweet that I happened to see, tweeted by one Jonathan Bartley, the “co-leader” of the Green Party.
David Davis is wrong on @BBCr4today that all parties are in a worse state than they have been for years. @TheGreenParty membership is growing, we are polling higher than our best ever general election result and have a record number of councillors on a record number of councils.
The Green Party is so large and important now that it has to have not one but two “co-leaders”. Well, jesting aside, there must be some other reason (almost certainly something very very silly) that necessitates two leaders, the other “co-leader” being one Sian Berry.
Bartley seems to have come from an affluent background. He graduated from the LSE aged 23, thereafter floating around Westminster as researcher etc until he founded the think-tank, Ekklesia. He does not seem to have done (or have needed to do) any other work of much substance between the founding of Ekklesia in 2002 and being elected as Green Party co-leader in 2016.
Deputy Leader is 34-year-old Amelia Womack, who was elected to her party position aged 29, having never been elected to any public position (not even as local councillor); neither has she ever had a paid job of any kind, it seems. She is a candidate in the upcoming Newport West by-election:
Now the facts are (i.e. the reality is) that the Green Party of England and Wales, founded 1990, has 1 MP (out of 650), 1 member of the House of Lords (out of 781), 3 MEPs (out of 64 English/Welsh seats), 2 London Assembly members (out of 25), and 178 local councillors (out of 19,023).
The Green Party is polling at somewhere around 5% nationally (it has been as low as 2% in recent years), and only has its one MP by reason of the unusual demographics and the (in 2010, when Caroline Lucas was first elected) 4-way voting split in the constituency of Brighton Pavilion:
In other words, the Green Party is like a tame rat on a wheel. Lots of activity and noise, but nothing really achieved. It’s not that I am opposed to all Green Party policies. I like some of its environmental policies, its support for Basic Income, its concern for animal welfare etc. There has, after all, always been connection between what are now called “green” ideals and social-nationalism. I have even blogged about it:
Where I cannot accompany the Green Party is in its apparent belief that open borders are good, mass immigration of inferior peoples into Europe is good, or that the EU is mostly very good for the UK.
I agree with the Greens when they say that FPTP voting is unfair on them (as on, in the past, UKIP, the BNP and the National Front, among others). Even 5% of votes should give the Greens around 30 MPs, whereas they may soon struggle to retain their one (though Caroline Lucas is a known TV face and probably will stay for a while). However, to say that UK political life is unfair is really just a pathetic bleat even if true (which it is).
At some point, reality will have to dawn on the Green Party members (surprisingly, nearly 40,000 of them). Or maybe not. I think that many Green Party members probably like their nursery politics game, which they must know in their hearts can never lead to serious results; but it makes them feel good and virtuous.
The Green Party is not about to get MPs elected or sweep the country in any way. The Green Party will simply continue as it is, a virtue-signalling pressure group pretending to be a political party. However, relatively few British people will vote for a party that supports both mass immigration and UK membership of the EU; neither will voters give credence to a party which has no one clear leader and which seems to be a refuge (even in its top-most ranks) for perpetual students and/or virtue-signalling and hugely self-deluded persons.
The Nationalist Milieu
It is often said that the plethora of food programmes on TV are a kind of “food porn” for people who rarely if ever cook. Well, the so-called “far right” (I myself never use terms such as “Left”, “Right” etc) or nationalist political tendency is rather like that: the Zionists, their “useful idiot” “antifa” offshoots, the msm too, and of course the System apparatchiki such as police, all like to say that there is a huge “danger” from “far right extremism” etc. If only! In reality, what exists at present is a mixture of hobby politics, “I’m the leader!” (of 2.5 people) parties, and politically-tinged 1970s football hooligan groups, together with System politics under nationalist camouflage (as with UKIP).
People of my vintage (b.1956), will recall (the now notorious) Gary Glitter singing “I’m the leader!” in 1973, a psychology characteristic of both “I’m the Leader!” parties and, usually, “hobby parties” (though every successful political party has to have a credible leader).
The English Democrats
I am starting with the English Democrats because they seem to me to epitomize the “hobby politics” sort of party. They claim(ed) to have over 2,000 members (2015), though I daresay that even that was a gross overestimation. I personally only ever heard of one member by name (my mother-in-law’s former neighbour), and he was a very strange man, a retired pilot aged about 70 (c.80, now). I would not be surprised if that man were fairly typical of the English Democrats’ members.
The English Democrats were founded in 2002. Their best electoral result was in the Mayoral race at Doncaster in 2009, which they won. They would also have won in 2013, had the Mayor not resigned from the English Democrats not long before the election. He still stood but as Independent and lost to Labour by only 590 votes, the EDs having put up their own candidate, who received 4,615 votes.
Police and Crime Commissioner elections have been their second best (highest vote-share just over 15%). In local elections, they have reached over 10% here and there, with their leader, Robin Tilbrook, receiving 18.2% of the vote in an election for the Epping Forest District Council. In Westminster elections, all results have been below —far below— 1% (in 2017, about a tenth of 1% in each of the seven seats contested).
The English Democrats have few policies, and those so bland that they could be espoused by several other parties, including System ones. Even the “English Parliament” idea has been mooted by System MPs occasionally.
“[Robin Tilbrook’s] party agitates for anyone living in England. His notion of Englishness is akin to American notions of “Americanness” – that you can be from any ethnic background and still wrap yourself in the flag.” [from an American newspaper interview]. So someone straight off the boat from God knows where is “English”, so long as living in England, according to that idiot! Even his professed “Euroscepticism” is very muted (and is based on the disproportionate amount of EU funding going to non-English parts of the UK).
The English Democrats are the “hobby politics” party par excellence. Mr. Tilbrook will never be blacklisted by the msm, nor targeted seriously by “antifa” or the Jewish lobby. He will never be interrogated by the police. He has in fact been invited onto TV occasionally and given a polite hearing, e.g. on BBC Daily Politics. He is even a Freeman of the City of London (awarded 2011)! Members of the EDs can write letters to the Daily Telegraph and talk at the bar of their golf clubs without let or hindrance. A waste of time worthy of P.G. Wodehouse.
For Britain Movement
I have blogged about “For Britain” previously. This party, though partly on the right track in terms of policy, is basically a one-trick pony. “You can have any colour so long as it is black!” [Henry Ford, re. the Model T car]; with “For Britain”, you can have any policy so long as it is anti-Islamism. Not that I oppose that view, but it is not enough.
For Britain is not exactly a “hobby politics” party, but it is really just a one-man or one-woman band, closely aligned with the policy-free beer-bottle throwers of the English Defence League and their one-time leader, the person usually known as Tommy Robinson.
The leader of For Britain, Irish lesbian former secretary Anne-Marie Waters (“Maria” originally), certainly has some followers, and For Britain has some members, as witness the local election campaign poster linked below, but how many is unclear. Probably fewer than 100. Quite possibly only about 50.
“The party fielded fifteen candidates in the 2018 local elections, none being elected.[11] The party came last in almost all the seats it contested.[12] In June 2018, the party expelled one of its local election candidates after Hope Not Hate linked him to the proscribed neo-Nazi group National Action and the white nationalist group Generation Identity“
[Wikipedia]
So “For Britain” (which says, pathetically, to the Jew-Zionist lobby, “look, we’re pro-Israel!” in the forlorn hope that the Jews will not hate it), sacked someone at least active enough to get up from his chair and stand as a candidate, simply because the unpleasant “Hope Not Hate” crowd fingered him!
As for Anne-Marie Waters, she herself stood in the Lewisham East by-election of 2018, receiving 266 votes (1.2% of votes cast; 7th place, behind Labour, LibDem, Con, Green, Women’s Equality and UKIP, but just ahead of Christian People, Monster Raving Loony, and 5 other minor candidates). “For Britain” is no good even as a protest vote in a by-election!
Sometimes, I wonder whether this or that group, party or movement or “leader” is not a put-up-job by the enemy, but in reality the likelihood is that these people are just deluded, indulging in near-pointless political activity. Having said that, it suits “Hope Not Hate” and the other manipulators of “antifa” idiots to have something to point at and say, “Look! Nazis/neo-Nazis/Fascists!” (etc).
Who, who would join something as one-dimensional, as limited, as “For Britain”? God knows. Not many have joined, anyway.
UKIP
Well, here we are at last out of the “hobby politics” and “I’m the Leader” areas, though plenty of UKIP members are hobby politicos. UKIP, though, is the real thing: a functioning political party, conservative-nationalist, and which at one time had two or three MPs (albeit temporary cast-offs), still has 7 MEPs (out of a possible 73), as well as 1 member of the House of Lords, 3 Welsh Assembly members (out of a possible 60) and 101 local councillors (out of a possible 20,712).
UKIP might have broken through to a measure of power in 2015 but did not, and now never will. It peaked in 2014. A succession of poor leaders (the present one is slightly better than those that followed Farage) crippled already-failing UKIP, whose membership, at one time reaching 50,000, is now somewhere below 23,000. UKIP has always been semi-tolerated by the System (inc. the Jew-Zionist lobby) and has now gone over to a basically one-trick-pony policy position which is not far from the offerings of Tommy Robinson, Anne-Marie Waters and the whole effectively pro-Jew and pro-Israel “alt-Right”/”alt-Lite” crowd (the British ones of prominence have in fact recently joined UKIP: “Prison Planet” Watson, “Count Dankula” Meechan, “Sargon of Akkad” Benjamin. All wastes of space).
To join or support UKIP now, except perhaps as a way of protesting pointlessly in an election, is just silly. It could not get one MP in 27 years (leaving aside the Conservative few who defected briefly), not even in 2015 when it was voted for by 1 out of every 8 voters! The voting system is rigged and flawed, and that suits the System parties very well.
UKIP’s vote in 2015 (nearly 4 million votes) fell to less than a seventh of that in 2017.
UKIP too is in the realm of political unreality, at least as far as elections are concerned.
How to go toward a realistic political viewpoint
The short to medium term future is uncertain and likely to bring revolutionary change to the world. I recently blogged about this:
As far as UK politics is concerned, it is clear that the major urban areas are no-go zones for nationalist parties, at least in respect of getting MPs elected. They can only be viewed as recruitment pools at present.
To pretend that a movement or party can be founded, then play the game of System politics, is otiose. UKIP tried that —and was semi-System anyway— yet failed utterly in any attempt to gain power (though I concede that UKIP did obliquely achieve the holding of and result of the 2016 EU Referendum, which result however is now being cynically betrayed by cosmopolitan conspirators such as the Jew Letwin and the virtue-signalling hypocrite Yvette Cooper… even as I write).
The fast-breeding ethnic minorities, including mixed-race elements, are collectively only a few decades away from becoming the majority in the UK. In some cities and towns, they are already the majority. That fact alone makes ordinary democratic politics a no-win situation for social-nationalism.
A social-national movement must be built from the ground up, and on a basis of reality, even if that reality looks, at present, like the sheerest fantasy.
Foolish people are now saying that the result of the Newport by-election (held yesterday, 4 April 2019) was a “very good result” for UKIP
Newport West 2017 UKIP got 2.5% 2019 UKIP got 8.6% This was a very good result for UKIP
— UKIP for the moderate nationalist (@DavidHadley1973) April 5, 2019
In fact, UKIP came third, exactly where it was in the previous two general election contests at Newport West, and while its 8.6% of votes looks good vis-a-vis 2017 (2.5%), UKIP got 15.2% in 2015:
This was just a by-election protest vote and a pretty muted one.
The Greens came 6th, with 924 votes (3.9%).
As for “For Britain Movement”, its candidate came last out of the 11 candidates, getting 159 votes (0.7%). This party is wasting the time of its few members.
Update, 9 April 2019
Judicial Review cases are never dealt with in days. We will hear next week what the government has to say in Reply but only then will the High Court list the first hearing. We are applying for the hearing to be "Expedited". We have a strong case that the UK is Out of the EU!
The EDs are claiming that the UK is already out of the EU and have launched a judicial review application to “prove” the same. Rarely has wish so directly confronted political reality.
English Democrats launch legal battle to prove Brexit happened and UK ‘already left the EU’ https://t.co/OC4ferM8M0
Update, 12 April 2019; a few thoughts about the near-future EU and local elections
The Brexit mess, so spectacularly mishandled by Theresa May and the idiotic careerists around her, may save UKIP from immediate collapse as a party, inasmuch as many British voters will want to punish the Conservative Party one way or the other. There may be a “perfect storm” for the Conservative Party, pressured on two fronts by both the Leave and Remain sides.
There will soon be elections for the European Parliament, on 23 May 2019. Recent opinion polling seems to be saying that Labour will have a landslide: initial voting intentions show Labour on 37.8% (up from 24.4% in 2016); Conservatives at 23.1% (unchanged), Brexit Party (Nigel Farage’s new party) 10%, LibDem 8%, UKIP 7.5%, Change UK (the recent Lab/Con defector MPs’ vehicle) around 4%, among others.
One has to be cautious in assuming that the above opinion poll reflects the likely outcome. The same poll seems to indicate that, after discussion, many pro-EU voters prefer Change UK (which would hit Labour and LibDem levels), while anti-EU voters may prefer either UKIP or Brexit Party.
Before the EU elections (in which the UK may not participate at all if the UK leaves the UK before 23 May), there will be local elections, on 2 May 2019. The indications are that, in those elections, Labour may also sweep the poll, with Labour benefiting not only from the “pendulum” or “see-saw” effect of elections in a system using FPTP voting, but also from abstentions by usual Con voters (or by their voting for Brexit Party or UKIP).
As far as the local elections are concerned, Labour starts the campaign with several advantages. The decade of spending cuts has finally impacted even the most true-blue Conservative areas. Labour has a army of local activists, thanks to its membership surge under Corbyn. It also has funds from the same source.
The Conservatives have few local activists now and most are beyond retirement age. The party looks tired. The Brexit mess can only be laid at the door of Theresa May and her Cabinet. The Cons will be lucky to avoid a wipeout in the areas voting on 2 May.
There are also strategic factors. The Conservative Party claims 124,000 members, which seems high (average 200 members per constituency). Most are elderly. Few are active. The median age for Conservative voters has also risen, to 52. Recent polling has shown that only 16% of voters under 35 support the Cons, and only 4% of those under 25 do so.
Returning to UKIP etc, the Brexit Party will obviously have the effect of splitting the Leave/Brexit hard core.
Update, 17 April 2019
The “For Britain” “Movement” (can 50 people be a “movement”?) has posted on GAB that they are not “far right” (whatever that means) and in some ways are no more “extreme” than Margaret Thatcher and not even really “socially conservative”. Oh dear…pretty pathetic.
I don’t know why I am even wasting 10 minutes of my ever-shorter lifespan examining this fake “movement” with its 50 members, especially after its recent (latest) electoral debacle at the Newport West by-election (last-placed out of 11 candidates; 159 votes, which represented 0.7% of votes cast).
Still, it confirms what I wrote in the original blog post, I suppose…
Update, 10 May 2019
Harold Wilson was right: “a week is a long time in British politics”. In the five weeks since the above article was written, at least two matters of importance have occurred
the local elections trashed the Conservatives (who lost over 1,300 seats), but Labour more or less stood still (losing 82 councillors), which was interpreted as failure by many;
Brexit Party burst into life and now has 100,000 members (by any other name).
There has always been a strong connection between the current now known as social nationalism and what is now called the “green” movement.
The famous author Henry Williamson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Williamson#Politics], who lived in North Devon and wrote the story Tarka the Otter, was a member of the British Union of Fascists, visited Germany during the 1930s and was, by any other name, a National Socialist.
The only state, to date, to have banned cruel experiments on animals outright was National Socialist Germany. The anti-vivisection law was the first law or one of the first few laws passed by Hitler’s government. Cartoons showed Goering (another National Socialist and leading conservationist) and animals saluting, with captions such as “Heil Goering!”, “Even the animals vote for the Fuhrer!” and “Vivisection verboten!”
The connection is not surprising. What is now termed social nationalism is organic, built on the natural order and having respect for the creatures of the land, water and air as well as (contrary to Zionist propaganda) the relatively backward racial groups and peoples of our Earth. The hero Leon Degrelle [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%A9on_Degrelle] put the latter point very well after the Second World War:
It is striking to see that there is very often an overlap, for example on Twitter, between those who are protective of animals and those who are strongly social-nationalist. Brigitte Bardot is a name which comes to mind: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brigitte_Bardot.
The new society in Europe will be nationalist; it will also be for Europe’s European future (though anti-EU); it will be green and it will be socially-just.
