The continuing “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook” Twitterstorm

I personally cannot judge as to whether, or to what extent, “Jack Monroe” is “sad, bad, or mad“, in the well-known phrase. Maybe a bit mad and a bit bad…but that is just my opinion, based on what I have read, and 66 years of life-experience.

The more I read about “Jack Monroe”, the more I think “bad” rather than “mad”, in fact.

As I have blogged previously, some of the photos seen on Twitter of the food made from the recipes of the “Bootstrap Cook” seem to be a “dog’s dinner” at best; some have made me feel actually unwell. I don’t mean when made and eaten (I would not make stuff like that anyway, still less ingest it) but just the mere sight of her “food” on Twitter.

I concede that I am not very domesticated and, until I married for the first time (in 1990), had mainly eaten cold food when dining at home (in my twenties and early thirties). In fact, I am still not much of a cook, though I can offer to my readers the following idea, which is relatively cheap, rather tasty, fairly healthy (though admittedly rather high-fat) and, best of all, can be made from start to finish in about 45 mins:

https://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipes/vegetarian-zucchini-slice-recipe/uf45jukn

That “zucchini bake” can be added to; you can add whatever vegetables are around— mushrooms, broccoli (inc. stalks, if grated or sliced), carrots etc. The only essentials are eggs, butter, zucchini/courgettes, salt, pepper, and cheese (any kind, but cheddar works well, maybe with some parmesan). Some basil helps.

I do not think I shall make a regular thing out of suggesting recipes. I would probably run out of the things that I myself have actually made in my whole life after a week or two. Still, I hope that the above is useful for someone.

About £5 to serve 4 people, or one person four times. Basic, yes, but I think that it stacks up pretty well against the offerings of “Jack Monroe”…

…and the £24,000 award she collected from her libel case against Katie Hopkins…

I looked at a few tweets by that stupid “Susan Macpark” woman. A Scottish pseudo-“nationalist” who, however, supports migration-invasion by backward non-whites. Crazy. She often flings vituperation at others, either tweeting that their parents must despise them, or simply insulting their intelligence (despite the unthinking tweets that she herself puts out).

That Macpark bitch will not give a penny. Guaranteed.

As to “Jack Monroe”, I have no idea whether she will return to Twitter (more likely than not, because she can then plough on, publicizing her stuff to those who are unwilling to question; she will simply try to ignore the gathering storm), or whether she will just think “well, I have £2,000-£7,000 a month coming in from 600-700 mugs on Patreon, plus maybe another few thousand from other sources, so why bother with Twitter?

An open question.

If only the blacks, browns, Chinese, and especially the Jews in our country would understand this.

There should be a cultural purge in the UK, starting (arguably) with the absurdly overpaid, smug, mass media football pleb-fest talking heads. Lineker etc.

As far as that specific building is concerned, I do not entirely agree. Architecture should be about both form and function. The form, in this case is (in my opinion) not so different in both cases, and I expect (though I have never been inside) that the function is better (for today’s purposes) in the replacement building. Admittedly, it is rather ugly, but so was, in my view, the building that it replaced.

Famous missionary explorer David Livingstone was a bit like that.

Exactly what I was thinking.

A worthwhile crowdfunder, as far as I can see.

London. Zoo.

Imagine how many white English people would have been spared misery and/or murder had that creature been deported or killed off at an earlier stage.

More tweets seen

“...and I can’t understand why she does it“? Really? how about “because she is getting £2,000-£7,000 a month for free, from (as of today) 667 mugs, for doing absolutely nothing but proclaiming that she is (in some unspecified way) ‘campaigning’ etc)”

Yet the 667 mugs (as of today) are still paying out £3.50-£10 —or more— each month to her, incredibly.

Oh what a tangled web we weave/When first we practice to deceive” [Sir Walter Scott, Marmion, A Tale of Flodden Field].

Ha ha! Incredible, yet at the same time almost inevitable. The “Bootstrap Cook” wanders lonely as a cloud through Southend or nearby, only to meet someone, by Fate or chance, who will no doubt (in this fairy-tale) “gift” “Jack Monroe” everything she needs or wants for the decoration of her new home.

Well, I am myself rather susceptible to tales of wonder and magic —and sometimes incredible “co-incidences” do happen— but, having now read a number of conflicting fantasies from the tweets etc of “Jack Monroe” (tweeted or said to interviewers over the past decade), I think it only fair and sensible to doubt this one (too).

So long as 667 mugs continue to shell out up to £10 monthly for absolutely nothing but to be part of the “Jack Monroe support echelon” or virtue-signal club, she will be laughing all the way to the bank (or the paint and wallpaper shop), even if (as no doubt will now happen) the msm “Bootstrap Cook” career on TV, radio, and in the Press ends, with the producers, journalists, and publishers running for cover (as I expect they already are).

The whole “Jack Monroe” supporters’ clan/defensiveness thing on Twitter reminds me of those who even now insist on wearing a useless facemask.

Late tweets

“Amelia” is very typical of many in the UK today: wants to tick the “right” boxes, and believes any old crap if the “right” (pseudo-socialist) noises are made. She favours Owen Jones! (‘Nuff said…). See also: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/04/a-brief-word-about-owen-jones/.

The allegation now is that “Jack Monroe” is using dozens of “sock accounts” to interact on Twitter while pretending to have left (having deleted, for the (?) time being her main “@BootstrapCook” account).

Seems plausible to me, looking at the myriad of Twitter accounts with zero or few “followers” that have popped up in the past days and weeks, all attacking critics of “Monroe”.

Late thought

Saw an extract, about a minute long, of a TV comedy/drama called The Larkins, a remake or re-adaptation of the well-known 1980s series The Darling Buds of May. Except that the husband or boyfriend of one of the characters is now black! The series was set, originally at least, I believe, in the late 1940s!

Typical ludicrous rubbish.

We hear much about “cultural appropriation“, but our own culture and indeed history is being taken over, basically stolen from us. Behind all of this nonsense, really, is the (((you-know-who)))…

  1. Oh, our grotesquely overpaid and utterly thick footballers are not STILL doing that awful, totally pathetic, virtual signalling Black Lives Matter total shite, are they?🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Why don’t they do it for another minority group ie lesbians, gays and bisexuals? Don’t LGB lives matter? Or would getting down on their knees for those people severely upset their hosts?🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 After all, Qatar takes a dim view of LGB people, represses them and you can be executed there for practicing lesbian, gay or bisexual relationships.
    .

This is why I don’t take these stunts seriously. The footballing authorities like FIFA are complete hypocrites in that LGB people are viewed as clearely inferior compared to blacks. Where is the EQUAL determination to kick out homophobia and biphobia from the game? There must be at least a small percentage of professional footballers who are gay, or, more likely, bisexual so why don’t they come out? They must be clearly afraid to do so. Homophobia and biphobia then are still a big problem for football yet the authorities of the game don’t care.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

In actual fact, when that George Floyd story broke, even little, old, non PC, anti-globalist, normally big supporter of the police me WAS initially sympathetic to his plight. After all, being suffocated to death by anyone, let alone the police, is decidedly not a pleasant thing to happen (I know this myself because I once came close to choking to death on a piece of Aberdeen Angus beef from Marks and Spencer’s where my family had to call 999 and a first responder from the NHS helped me. Luckily, I didn’t have to go to hospital. This was the most frightening experience I have ever had and something I can’t forget. I now take extra care when eating beef, meats in general and when eating anything)

Also, I knew that the Yankee police do have a well deserved reputation for being quite thuggish even to whites in America let alone blacks.

But, then came the evidence that George was not a decent person (although he still didn’t deserve to be killed in that way) However, what REALLY turned me off the whole thing was the whole leftish cause celebre aspect to the demonstrations and their making out that police violence only happened to blacks and that only black lives mattered.

the George Floyd keffufle was just a convenient peg on which the transnational conspiracy could hang their latest attempt to advance the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan in both the USA and Europe.

  2. I have just discovered that Japan has qualified for the World Cup. Hopefully, the PC sick joke of the ‘England’ team will get to meet them and then Japan proceeds to thrash them and kick virtue signalling, leftie moron Gareth Southgate and his team out of the tournament and on the plane back home.

It would be nice to see a World Cup won by a team that truely represents their nation/country, especially one from a sensible, ‘Right-wing’, nationalist, ultra-tough on law and order, technologically advanced, economically succesful NORMAL country like Japan.

  3. Murdering someone during a robbery was an offence that earned you a long drop hanging in this country even AFTER the TORIES in 1956-1957, rather bungled reform of our death penalty laws to restrict the cases of murders which could be punished by death.

So badly did the Tories do this, though I accept that drawing up appropriate categories for non capital murders and capital ones is not an easy thing to do, that they gave a big impetus to the campaign to abolish capital punishment which succeeded only a few years later in 1965.

Well, we have been here before. As you know, I oppose in death penalty in almost all cases, the recent torture/murder cases of defenceless children being an exception.

As you no doubt know, in the early 19thC, there were exactly 222 offences, at peak, for which sentences of death *could* be passed.

      1. If we brought it back and made it more wide ranging ie for drug dealers too as in China and Singapore we could make an appreciable dent in the numbers of blacks and asians living here.

Even Indians commit a lot of crime in places like Southall. We could eliminate budding Sunaks before they become wholly undemocratically imposed PMs and impose their nation wrecking carnage as he wants to do to OUR nation.

        What is not to like?

      2. When we had what was called ‘The Bloody Code’ there were no police forces or they were totally ineffectual hence 222 offences being punished by a possible death sentence.

Now, we still have often nearly wholly useless police forces and insufficient deterrents as well.

As a first priority to improve the increasingly deplorable law and order situation we need to increase the effectiveness of the police by increasing their numbers substantially, changing their rubbish leaders in order to improve their morale, building more police stations including new, mini Koban ones like in Japan staffed by a few officers and yes stiffening sentencing policies and have them handed out by the courts more consistently.

There are other societal policies that could help too ie making divorces harder to obtain rather than ridiculously easy as this liberal ‘Tory’ government has done because a stable family unit is the best environment for a child to grow up in and research proves that children brought up in such a scenario don’t turn into criminals as often as those who come from broken homes.

Discipline levels in state schools could do with improving too.

  4. That murder was just one of several very serious incidents in The Zoo over the last few days. A boy/young man was chased in my birthplace of Romford by a knife wielding gang having a fight just outside the train station and got stabbed by them in broad daylight. The grim, criminal reality of Stab City Upon The Thames is getting ever nearer to me in Brentwood.😠😠😠😢😢😢😢😢😥😥

There was another stabbing in Twickenham of all places! Site of the home stadium of English Rugby Union (a public schoolboys game if ever there was one) and a decidedly middle-class area which has a Liberal Democrat MP to prove it (after having Tory MPs for decades) that just goes to show how stabbings are out of all control in Stab City Upon The Thames.

Most of London used to be renowned for its law abiding nature at one time!🙄🙄🙄🙄😠😠😠😠😥😥😥😥

Even in 2001-2002, as well as on occasional visits up to 2008, I was able to wear one of my (now sold, per necessitas) Rolex Seadweller watches in London, including on the Underground sometimes, as well as in the street (though mainly in Mayfair and around the Inns of Court, admittedly) without any anxiety. I doubt that I would do that now, if I still had expensive (or any) watches.

I might add that I also wore one when in Moscow (2007) and also Qatar (2001 and 2008), without any problem.

      1. Indeed. That these stabbings are happening now in places like Twickenham and Richmond and not just the ‘usual suspect’, mass Labour voting, Third World excrement holes like Stratford, Peckham ect show how bad the situation is getting.

Only a few weeks ago there was that stabbing incident in Bishopsgate part of the at present (though due to fall soon), Tory-held Cities of London and Westminster constituency.

      2. Some Tory morons on Twitter are still saying all these stabbings are, somehow, the whole fault of Sadiq Khan. Yes, he isn’t a brilliant mayor but he has few powers and the Tory national government is responsible for the funding , or rather the lack of it, of the police and the criminal justice system as whole in the country.

Sadiq Khan didn’t create the situation. BOTH previous Labour AND Tory governments are responsible in that both have been very soft on Third World immigration.

If you import the Third World don’t be surprised if you get Third World crime levels eventually especially if you have a soft criminal system and underfund, demoralize, and put the police under the cosh of manic levels of PC.

    1. Probably. Those mostly Jewish troublemakers have their hands in most of these exposes. The FAR RIGHT parties and organisations Israel has many examples of, including some of them being very recently elected to Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, don’t come in for their HATE. I wonder why?🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Well-done to this Tory councillor!😂😂😂👍👍👍 Seeing as his party has bow abandoned even the pretence, let alone the reality, of REAL Conservative policies then why not join the NBU?🙄🙄🙄

    2. Ha, ha, this is just like the good old days of the 1930’s when Tory councillors and some of their MPs were not ashamed of attending events organized by the ‘far right’ , joining ‘far right’ organisations or even setting them up themselves such as the January Club which was a ginger group to facilitate links between the Conservative Party and Sir Oswald Mosley’s BUF, The Link, and ‘ The Right Club’ of infamous Scottish Unionist Party MP (in reality, the Scottish branch of the Conservative Party) Archibald Maule Ramsay.

The likes of globalist maniacs, The Guardian, won’t like that at all!😂😂😂😂😂

Yes, there has been a massive backlash against Elon Musk. The Jew cabal has made a lot of noise about leaving Twitter (but not yet, of course, a la Maureen “I’m going to Israel” Lipman). Meanwhile, Twitter’s usual “experts” were sure that it would just stop functioning “soon”. Not yet, anyway.

I think that Musk is playing, at least partly, a political game, though in the USA he could not try for the Presidency, having been born in South Africa.

  6. Further to that last story from the Zoo that is London nowdays, if you want to see more examples of the rampant criminality in Stab City Upon The Thames then I suggest you make daily visits to the My London website.

Even that leftie, PC Moron, Daily Mirror Group owned site can’t hide the very non PC reality of London.

Yes, the Daily Mirror’,s national site is a good one for looking at crime stories from the rest of the country.

  7. Re your crime story of the black burglar: Even mass executions on the scale of China which is rumoured to conduct thousands per year which means it has the world’s highest per capita rate would only have a limited impact upon the city’s crime rate.

What is needed is BOTH capital punishment AND an effective police force with many more officers, released from being inside the prison of political correctness the Labour Party AND so-called Conservative Party imposed upon them and building more police stations including types you will find in Japan such as the mini ‘Koban’ stations which have only a few officers inside them and which are strategically placed not far away from each other in many locations within Tokyo and other cities.

Increasing a visible police presence on the streets as well as more consistently given out tough sentences is necessary.

Stopping importing people from countries not exactly renowned for producing masses of law abiding people would come in useful too.

  8. There probably is no need for people to wear face masks now for about 99% of people. However, that may not be the case for that 1% who may have compromised immune systems, breathing difficulties or other medical problems. Some very elderly people may fit into those categories are still a bit fearful. If they are and feel more confident going out in public wearing one I am not going to be critical of them besides which their gaining the confidence to go out to the shops etc and spending their money is helping the economy to recover from the pandemic. It is none of my business. People should not be too judgemental in these matters.

I haven’t seen anyone wearing a mask for a longtime even an old person. The masks DID save lives though not enough in this country because of the libertarian extremism and incompetence of the Tories and extremist morons eg his ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ scheme like the present wholly undemocratically imposed squatter in No.10.

What on earth is the point of aiming to break-up the United Kingdom and go to all the considerable trouble and expense of establishing a new Scottish state if you are going to fill it up with the same kind of often criminally inclined Third World, murdering, violently assaulting, drug dealing dross you would find in Indian Southall or Brixton or Peckham?

The SNP might well have achieved their aim by now if they had remained the genuine nationalist party they were when they were first set-up.

  10. I was reading a report on the Scottish separatist The National newspaper website a few days ago about what happened during a speech made recently by Nigel Farage in Eton College.

Apparently, a few of the boys made ‘racist’ remarks to some black girls. Some letter writers to The National said that was typical of the kind of behaviour one might expect from pupils at England’s most famous public school.

Well, what about how some might behave at ‘Scotland’s Eton’ ie Fettes College in Edinburgh then which was the old school of a certain Anthony Charles Lynton Blair.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

    1. I do love this Scottish (mostly from separatists) exceptionalism which basically says the English are virtually all evil ‘racists’, are wicked in a myriad of other ways and these traits are found more often in this part of the United Kingdom.

Scots, meanwhile, are pure and honourable in their intentions and thoughts at all times.

Well, as Scotland is still mostly free of migration-invasion it is easy for them to be ‘right-on’, PC and globalist. Will their purity still exist once Edinburgh becomes a more Northern version of London?

You can see that the Pakistani element, in particular, is becoming influential in Scottish politics, both in the SNP and in Labour (Scottish Labour even has a Pakistani leader), but as yet there has not been a tidal wave of non-white immigration, and of course no reverse D-Day landings on the Scottish beaches.

  11. What an utterly ludicrous, farcical and, yes, EVIL nonsense that new show The Larkins is then.

Anyone with a single ounce of common sense or ability to read a history book knows that there were very few black people etc living in this country before Labour and the so-called Conservatives opened the floodgates in the late 1940’s/early 1950’s.

Before the mass migration-invasion started in earnest the only real ethnic minority here was a couple of hundred thousand Jews.

Unless you lived in London, Leeds, Manchester or a port city like Cardiff or Liverpool the chance of a person coming into contact with an ethnic minority individual was remote and certainly would be in Kent where I presume this series is set.

Apart from one ENT consultant at Royal Berks Hospital in the early 1960s, I do not think that I saw even one (other) black in the UK until I returned from Sydney to the Reading area in 1970 (actually, it was late 1969), and even then only two— a bus driver who, believe it or not, was singing “My Island in the Sun” (!)— and one diminutive uniformed nurse on another bus, wearing the very smart uniform, with a blue cape, that nurses (SRN) all wore then.
