Dear Ian,
I am glad to hear that it is merely internet connection problems which are preventing you from publishing blogs.
Thanks very much for the update.
Hopefully, you will be online in short order.
Many thanks again.

The same to you and all the “well-intentioned readers”. I hope you will be back online soon.
This has nothing to do with politics. It is a question of taste. For me, the nicest car featured here is the Mercedes-Benz 540K Cabriolet. The fact that it was designed and produced during the Third Reich is just a happy coincidence. πβπβπβ

Very good.
I tend to like the more stately, less sporty, kinds of cars. Overall, though, I tend to think, like a Philistine I know, “a second class ride is better than a first class walk“…

I understand what you mean. (HAHAHAHA) Sometimes I feel the same way, particularly after a long walk. Luckily, I live in a very nice, leafy suburb and enjoy my walks (about 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours), which are rather compulsory considering my diabetes. However, sometimes I arrive home exhausted, a reminder that I am no longer 30 years old… πβπβπβ

Tell me about it…
I myself should walk more, or do other exercise. Long gone are the days (25+ years ago) when I could swim several miles non-stop.
Still, good luck with your walking. March or die!
