I agree. “UK” is in any case a broad field, because there are *relatively* few non-whites in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland. England is already only about 80% white, if that, and once you cut out East Anglia, the West Country and the SouthWest etc, the figure is *probably* now already around 70%. If you look at only the major urban regions, London/Birmingham/Manchester etc, I do not know, but probably only 50% or so.

I just looked at that despicable nobody called Kelvin MacKenzie. Here is a funny, and obviously true story from his biography according to Wikipedia:
“MacKenzie has said that he discovered early on in his career that he had little writing ability and that his talents lay in making up headlines and laying out pages.”
What kind of “talent” do you need to “make up headlines”? The bloke is an ignoramus and a bastard who admitted bullying his employees. The saddest part of all is that a scumbag like him must have made a lot of money working for that vile rag.

You may not know this, but re. a typical headline of the Sun “newspaper” of the early 1980s:
The Argentine government proposed a peace deal re. the Falklands/Malvinas. The UK Government declined.
The (London) Times headline, very temperate, was “Britain replies to Argentine peace proposals”, whereas the Sun, on the same day and re the same story, was headlined “Stick it up your Junta!”…
Mackenzie is an unpleasant person who knows little.

Thank you very much, Ian. On the funny side, we (sadly) also have an equivalent to THE SUN, it is called CRONICA (Chronicle). I remember that when the war was imminent they printed some awful touched-up photos of Margaret Thatcher looking like Dracula! 😂😂😂

War is war, but that kind of Sun “newspaper” gloating, and lack of empathy, is better left out, in the contemporary era.
If a person, or a battleship, has to be killed, then do it cleanly and without exultation.
