The topic is perhaps particularly apposite today, being the day on which the disastrous Second World War started in 1939, 82 years ago.
Alison Chabloz
Usually-reliable sources report the following about Alison Chabloz, the persecuted singer-songwriter and satirist:
Alison remains well, despite still being incarcerated in Bronzefield Prison near Heathrow.
Apparently, Alison’s room or (to put it that way) cell has a view of a courtyard in which are flowers and cherry-blossom trees. Alison not only sings, but also paints, and is painting the said courtyard scene.
Alison has now been given a (paid) job in the prison, involving arts and crafts, sewing, beading etc; she enjoys such activity anyway.
Breakfast for Alison is, firstly, cereal and milk, delivered to her room along with two flasks of hot water. A full “English” breakfast can then be had elsewhere, together with toast, jam etc. The plentiful supply of snacks said to be available during the day seems almost superfluous. Oh, and the menu for lunch always has six choices, including vegetarian, halal and even kosher! Ha ha! Ironic…
Sources report that today’s lunch for Alison consisted of fish and chips, by reason of today being a Friday. A strange survival from Europe’s monkish past.
Well, of course Alison should never have been prosecuted at all, let alone sent to prison, but it is good to know that she is not quite in the “GULAG Archipelago”…
Perhaps Bronzefield Prison should enter the TV “bed and breakfast” competition, Four in a Bed! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_in_a_Bed. It scores on “value for money”, if nothing else…
At present, Alison is in prison until around the end of the month, but may be released earlier; we shall see.

I often think back to the situation in Eastern Europe in the 1980s. I was there a few times in the late 1980s, and travelled there and back by both car and plane; Poland, Czechoslovakia, DDR (East Germany), spending over 90% of that time in Poland. I also had contact with Soviet matters in the 1980s, though did not visit Moscow until later (1993, and then in 2007).
In those 1980s days, despite ramshackle aspects and popular discontent (especially in Poland), socialist rule seemed strongly embedded in Eastern and parts of Central Europe. Eventually, it just fell off like a snake’s skin.
Thinking back further, the Shah of Iran seemed fairly secure on his throne until…well, until one fine day his whole government and society just collapsed.

A viscount’s son accused of calling an anti-Semitism campaigner ‘Jewish scum’ told a court today he is ‘an honourable man’ facing ‘desperate’ allegations.
Piers Portman, 50, the son of Edward, 9th Viscount Portman of Bryanston, allegedly abused Campaign Against Antisemitism CEO Gideon Falter after he refused to shake his hand at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 14 June 2018.
The Harrow-educated aristocrat’s family owns the Portman Estate, which covers 110 acres of Marylebone in West London, including the land under Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
Mr Falter was leaving the building after a hearing of Alison Chabloz, who was facing allegations relating to anti-Semitism.
Portman had sent Campaign against Antisemitism a letter on 11 January 2018, in which he abused his ex wife, a Jewish woman.
The letter stated: ‘I am currently married, for 13 years to a greedy, grasping, thieving and lying criminal manipulator of the system that also happens to be Jewish.
‘Lately, my wife has taken it upon herself to see her husband as an asset and owing to my disobedience, she has hired the services of the Baroness of Belgravia, Fiona Shackleton, another greedy, grasping and lying manipulator of the system that happens to be Jewish.’
Giving evidence, Portman told the court he attended the Chabloz trial as a ‘neutral observer’ because he wanted ‘to see a trial that [he] felt might give some understanding to [his] personal circumstances’.
He said he had recently divorced ‘acrimoniously’ from a ‘Jewish lady’.
‘My own circumstances were that I felt I was being unfairly persecuted by tyrants posing as victims,’ he said.
The divorce has impacted his relationship with his children, who he said he sees: ‘not as often as I wish to but as often as I can.’
At the Chabloz trial, Portman approached Stephen Silverman, Director of Investigations and Enforcement of the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, outside the courtroom.
He offered his hand and said: ‘I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Piers Portman, I also am being persecuted by Jewish tyrants posing as victims.’
‘[Mr Silverman] looked fairly uninterested,’ Portman told the court.
He continued: ‘I had it in mind to say the same thing to Mr Falter.
‘I approached him with my hand outstretched to introduce myself but Mr Falter refused to shake my hand.
‘It was a failed introduction so I continued after him to say the same lines as I’d said to Mr Silverman.
‘Mr Falter threw his hand in the air and said that he was experiencing witness intimidation.
‘The CCTV footage is clear, my hands remain behind my back. ‘
‘Mr Falter actually put his hands upon me to detain me from leaving, he told me that I had to remain, I suppose, under his custody until the police arrived.
‘If you’re being threatened by someone and believe your body is in danger, you’d want that person to get away from you.
Security then came over to see what was going on and Portman said they ‘showed [him] the exit’.
Portman denies using the words ‘Jewish scum’ and said: ‘It’s not in my nature or character. I’m an honourable British man who was brought up to show respect to a fellow human.
‘In my opinion the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism have colluded with each other, they’ve created witnesses that are not independent.
They’ve agreed upon statements to persecute myself and there are many previous examples.
‘The allegations are desperate, they’re defamation, they’re less than honourable.’
Portman said has had had two wives and three children.
‘I worship my children,’ he said.
Mr Falter, wearing a navy blue suit, told the jury he ‘had just walked through a Who’s Who of Holocaust deniers, Neo-Nazis, extremists’ before Portman approached him as he got out of the lift.
The campaigner told the court: ‘I didn’t want to give him my hand, I said: “I’m sorry, I can’t shake your hand, because I don’t know who you are.
‘He lost his temper, he got quite aggressive.
‘He said: “I’m Piers Portman, I’ve written to you before! Come after me you Jewish scum, come and persecute me, come and get me!”
‘I felt cornered in the lift, Portman followed me, continuing what he was saying.
‘Portman tried to leave and I put my arm out and said: “You can’t leave, wait for the police.”
Court security then let Portman leave before police officers arrived at the scene, and was long gone when police tried to locate him.
Portman, of The Portman Estate, Portman Square, London, denies one count of religiously aggravated harassment with intent.
The trial continues.

At least the menu choice is better than that offered to the old Siberian exiles, and expressed in the Russian proverb or saying, “Shchi da kasha, pyishcha nasha” (“cabbage soup and kasha are our food”). Actually, “shchi” can be quite nice, as is (buckwheat) kasha, if boiled then fried. A bit like fried rice.
As to that trial report, I have no comment, as the matter is still before the court.

That man Piers Portman is obviously a fool who was brought up like “an English gentleman” (i.e. an idiot who believes in Parliamentary democracy, the Rule of Law, equality, etc.) the worst aspect of that education is the belief that the Jews “are people like everyone else”. That is why so many important (and stupid) English noblemen married Jewesses during the late XIX century and the early XX century.
Here are a few examples: Archibald Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery; George Cholmondeley, 5th Marquess Cholmondeley, George Herbert, 5th Earl of Carnarvon. The last one married an illegitimate daughter of Alfred Charles Rothschild, but he was fully aware of her origins as Rothschild paid his debts and gave him an enormous sum of money (£ 500.000 in 1895! as a dowry) All this can be checked on Wikipedia,

Yes, the UK aristocracy was thoroughly infiltrated by “new money”, including Jew money, in the 19th and 20th centuries. Far more than most people imagine. For example, there is a well-known comedian here who is “in remainder” to a number of Scottish titles, but who (less known) is either half or quarter Jewish.
