Once again, Israel puppet Starmer shows to what extent his mind is dominated by finance-capitalist and basically Jewish-oriented thinking.
Anyone imagining that the expected (?) “Labour” government of 2024 will be any better than the present “Conservative” misrule will be very disappointed.
“Wagner” Group rides again?
Whisky wow wow! Hard-core.
Ukraine war
Happened to listen to BBC Radio 4 Today Programme for a few minutes in the car. A correspondent was talking about the drone attacks on Moscow, and saying that prior to the Russian invasion, there had been no attacks, and so these attacks were happening only because of the Russian invasion.
Superficially true, in that Russia proper was never attacked before the invasion of early 2022, but what was not mentioned was the 8 years of artillery bombardment (and bombing) of the Russian-speaking and/or pro-Russian areas of formerly-Ukraine territory, particularly Donetsk, starting in 2014.
I waited to hear who was giving what was basically a lying-by-omission account of things. Turned out that it was “Steve Rosenberg, Russia Editor“. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Rosenberg]. What a surprise. Or not.
Every single time…
Soap alibi
I notice that some of my oldest and also least-read blog posts received hits today. One, written in 2018, was this little anecdote about my Bar pupillage in 1992: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/06/19/home-and-away-or-neighbours/
Ostalgie?
I visited Poland several times in the late 1980s, spending maybe 2 months or so there altogether. I also once spent a few days travelling by car from Poland to West Germany, so I saw small parts of the southern regions of the DDR (East Germany) at that time (summer 1988). I have blogged about it previously. A strange-seeming society, very very different from the Bundesrepublik (West Germany).
The DDR was a very controlled group-dictatorship: rule by the few (Communists), of course, and in most respects the DDR was very inferior to the Bundesrepublik, but the situation was not entirely black and white. Few things are.

“The Ukrainian army will begin to lose control over the situation along the entire front, as is the case in the Kharkiv region, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter wrote in an article for Sputnik. “The thinning of Ukrainian defense lines has provided Russian forces with new opportunities.” This resulted in great successes in the area of Kupjansk. The armed forces of Ukraine will continue to weaken as they suffer losses, and gaps will appear in their defense that the Russian army can use to break through,” the expert predicts.”
Black Africa. That’s where the wealth goes— into the pockets of a few corrupt bastards…
There can be little doubt that, as the Ukrainian (Kiev regime) counter-offensive is failing, the air war is heating up. If Russia keeps getting attacked from the air, even if only by drones, the response may be devastating.

Note who is sitting next to Starmer: the (((Prince of Darkness))) himself. It’ll just New Labour all over again. Mind, the Tories have been simply a continuation of New Labour in any case. Just two cheeks of the same arse.

Yes, I noticed that it was the Jew Mandelson who was sitting almost at Starmer’s shoulder, like Mephistopheles in Goethe’s Faust.
It’s pretty pathetic that (eg) Twitter or “X” is full of simpleminded Labourites who appear to believe sincerely that a “Labour”-label government will be a wonderful change from the (admittedly) incompetent and shambolic “Conservative”-label one presently posing as being in charge.
Starmer, Reeves, Cooper etc may be far worse than Sunak and his band of idiots; they will certainly not be better in any way at all.
Unsurprising, when you consider the main influences behind both System parties are the same— NWO/ZOG, Zionism, the Jewish lobby, WEF, Bilderberg etc.

What a brilliant definition! I would say Mandelson is far worse because he is the thinking one, Starmer is just a dull, stupid puppet who repeats what he has been told. He is unable to come up with a good idea or a clever thought. In Argentina we have a replica of Starmer, is called Sergio Massa and two weeks ago suffered a most humiliating defeat in the first round of elections. 😂😂😂

Regarding the attacks and robberies in small supermarkets there is a logical explanation. However, I must say that some of them were organized by political groups.
Basically, the situation is very bad. The inflation is out of control and eating away the pathetic wages of most Argentinians. I shall give you two good examples. A 500cm3 of olive oil went overnight from 2.000 to 2.800 pesos (40%!). The same applied to meat. Until two weeks ago a kilo of good quality steak was $2.600, then it jumped to $3.400 (30%)
This has been going one for almost a year with prices changing almost once a month. However, over the last two months, things are going up every two weeks and many products are unavailable because the importers/manufacturers do not know what the prices will be next time they have to order raw materials.

Those inflation figures are striking, especially that for steak. After all, Argentina is almost synonymous with steak, cattle, gauchos etc.
The price in absolute terms is still much cheaper than in the UK. As you know, I do not eat meat, but I buy steak for my wife and cat. I bought one (a rib-eye steak) only a few days ago. I think that the price was £36 a kilo, or 16,000 Argentine pesos.

Hello! If we look at the prices (cost of living) compared with the wages you will find that the average Englishman is much better off than his Argentinian counterpart.
The average monthly wage in Argentina is 320.000 pesos. 1 pound is worth 445 pesos; therefore those 320.000 pesos represent 719 pounds.
The average monthly wage in the UK is 2.660 pounds. This means that for the same kind of job an Englishman earns 3.7 times MORE than his Argie counterpart.
If we compare the prices of certain items, you will notice that an Argentinian, earning nearly 4 times LESS than an Englishman, pays the same or even a bit more than his English counterpart.
I looked at some items and worked out the percentage that they must pay out of their monthly wages to purchase them:
UK AR
1 pair of fine dress shoes 10% 20%
1 kilo premium beef 1.3% 1%
10 litres of milk 0.5% 1%
10 blocks of butter (200 grs ea.) 0.8% 2%
6 bottles fine red wine 2.5% 2.5%
The only redeeming factor is that Argentinians can pay many items in 12 monthly instalments with their credit cards. That is why almost every one is heavily in debt. It is a vicious circle.

Thank you. Interesting.
The general trend is clear.
Of your list, I buy beef for my wife and my cat, but I never buy shoes these days (and usually wear a comfortable pair of ancient Sebago boat shoes), and rarely buy wine (having said that, I did buy a half-bottle of 5-aszu Royal Tokay yesterday, both because the weather is cooling slightly and because it is my birthday this week).
I suppose that you are right, though: life in Argentina is probably at least as much of a struggle as life in the UK.

2 September, so Saturday.
“Aszú is the Hungarian word for shrivelled and botrytis-affected berries, and the resulting wine they make”
[Decanter magazine].

The quality of Tokay is defined by “puttonyos” (from 3 through to 6, with a further premium grade above). The half-bottle I bought is 5-puttonyos.
