As previously blogged, Starmer-stein is pulled in opposing directions. On the one hand, he was put in as Labour Party leader by the Jewish lobby, aka Israel lobby. On the other hand, the Labour Party has lost most of the real, white European, English/British voters. Most Labour voters are now non-white, and most of those voters are Muslims, the vast majority being Pakistani.
You see this situation being played out in respect of the Israel-Iran war. Starmer is all over the place.
Without the Pakistani/Muslim vote, the Labour Party would be around 10% in the opinion polls, about 8-14 points below its present level.
