Yes, probably so. The animals have nothing to do with human wars except for being victims of them. In fact, many zoos in Eastern Europe are very poor and should be closed down. From what I have seen, the (best) American zoos are the best anywhere, though I admit that I have only actually visited one (the Bronx Zoo in New York).

Yes, I think you are right. It is ironic because Griffin etc were partly prosecuted in relation to exposing the so-called “grooming” scandal and yet Nazir Afsal like to claim credit prosecuting some of the first cases exposed by the aforementioned and later on journalists! 🤨
