Ukraine is falling to pieces. Having said that, many of Britain’s roads are now little better.
No doubt the pro-immigration, pro-multikulti drones (paid or amateur) will be flooding social media and the msm with “it was ever thus“, “London was always like that” etc. No. Not true. Not on this scale. 100x worse than it was in the 1970s, let alone 1950s.

A reference to those detained and convicted in relation to the recent terrorist attack in Moscow, who may spend their lives as of now in so-called “coffin” cells measuring 4-6 square metres; cells as tiny as 6 feet by 6.
It troubles me that the apparent terrorists were treated with such brutality, verging on sadism (to say the very least), on the day when they were detained; also, that the now-mandated conditions of detention seem worse than simply inhumane; as bad as, or worse, than those suffered by some prisoners in America’s “Supermax” prisons.
It is not that I think that the terrorists “deserve” better treatment but rather, that to treat even such individuals as they have been treated and continue to be treated, diminishes Russia itself, just as Guantanamo, Bagram, Abu Ghraib etc diminished, and continue to diminish, America.

It seems that Goodwin reads this blog. Actually, I have reason to believe that he does. In the past, when his views were rather different (pre-2018), Goodwin blocked me on Twitter. Good to see that he has at least partly woken up.
The endgame will either be later this year or, perhaps more likely, after the national elections in the USA and UK, so sometime in 2025.

Yes, London, our former capital city, has become very nearly entirely lawless over the last twenty odd years or so. It is true to say the city has had bad crimes occurring for many years but not on the present scale. In the early 1950’s, the hardline Tory Home Secretary, Sir David Maxwell Fyfe, and others were concerned about violent crime becoming more frequent but he and others would not recognise today’s far larger problem with it.The 1950’s were a tranquil time period with regard to crime compared with 2024.
As well as stern punishments like judicial corporal punishment being done away with in 1948, hanging in the 1960’s, no real discipline in state schools, and a lowering of moral standards in society I wonder what has changed in London and elsewhere in the intervening decades?
Vote CONServative and Labour and get to live in a nearly entirely lawless Third World slum and soon to be failed state.
Even having a portable electric chair doing executions as the great state of Louisiana used to have probably wouldn’t do a huge amount to curb London’s crime rate:

Gerhard Schroeder may say what he wants to know, but had he been in power now he would have been an obedient lackey of the US, as ALL German premiers or chancellors have been since (at least) the 1980s. The only one I remember behaving with certain dignity was Helmut Schmidt (1920-2015)

I knew a (now-deceased, I believe) lady born in 1926 in East Prussia, whose birth surname was Hausner von Wildenstein; she was outraged to discover in the 1980s (via me, I think) that a clan of Jew art dealers and dodgy dealers based in Paris had appropriated (presumably, in the 19thC) the name “Wildenstein” (though of course without the German aristocratic “von”) as their surname.

If only there were a British version of Germany’s Nationalist/National-Conservative Afd party to vote for or a party similar to Japan’s very misnamed Liberal Democratic Party (in reality, a national-Conservative party).
As a country we might start to get somewhere then. Under fake Conservatives and New Labour Mark 2 with added Israeli Likud Party we are going precisely nowhere.

Well, according to the Election Maps site the Conservatives won’t be wiped-out but will still get the lowest number of MPs since the Liberal Party landslide of 1906 which was 156.
A grand total of just 111 will be elected. Unfortunately, a prime contributer to the forthcoming disaster ie the unelected extra from ‘The Jewel In The Crown’ will still hold his seat of Richmond and Northallerton with a predicted majority of 2,600 votes.

I did not mean it literally. The Cons will obviously still have 25-50 MPs, maybe even 100, though that is looking a bit of a stretch now. If anything like that happens, the little Indian money-juggler will resign as leader and quite likely as MP. His might be the first seat to hold a by-election in the new Parliament.

With any luck the new tyrannical ‘Labour’ misgovernment that will, like all Labour governments in history be a total failure, drop down dead. It is utterly ridiculous they will have a huge unearned majority on far less than 50% of the national vote.
Democracy? Ha, ha, if only Britain would ever get to experience it! It looks like we will have to write to the German ambassador to the UK and politely ask his government to invade us so they can impose a REAL democracy on a country that has never really known the concept.

I think they will have between 50 and 120 MPs and thus end up with less than in the great electoral disaster of 1906 where they had 157. That is the all time record for the lowest number of Tory MPs.
They are unlikely to go below 50. Those seats represent the true hard-core Tory seats which won’t be lost without mass tactical voting or an even higher Labour lead/highly concentrated increase in the Lib Dem vote.
My seat of Brentwood and Ongar is one of them. It is currently their tenth safest with a numerical majority of 29,165, a percentage majority of 54.9% thereby needing a ‘swing’ of 27.5% to remove the Tory MP and a Tory share of the vote of 68%.
Your seat of New Forest West will very likely stay blue as well.

How anyone can think a leftwing, so-called ‘human rights lawyer’ from London can be a real alternative beats me. Many lawyers in this country are utter pests and nothing more than a millstone around Britain’s neck. It is precisely because this country is overflowing with lefty lawyers like Sir Keir Starmer that this land has so many profound problems.
