Yes. I recall talking about similar issues in 1976 with a couple with whom I was then friendly, a (supposedly ex-) getaway driver-turned-limousine service-owner, and his wife, both in their thirties (I was 19 at the time). The discussion was about the relative merits of the Western way of life as compared with the Soviet socialist system.

That fellow’s comment has stayed with me: “what matters to me is not the detail about how it works but what way of life comes out the other end.” Like many —more-or-less— “villains”, he was basically quite “Thatcherite” in his views (though this was three years before Margaret Thatcher actually became Prime Minister).

Indeed. In the late 1970s, the inefficiencies of the subsidized industries, and the (neo-Luddite) power of the trade unions, were the stuff of legend, but the “Thatcher Revolution” went far too far in various ways. All the same, people realized that some change was needed.

I have blogged previously about how the ~33-year cycle works. In 1989, old-style socialism died, but that did not happen overnight. In the UK, the change had been in preparation for many years, starting notionally with the Thatcher governments.

Telecoms policy illustrates the point. The State-owned British Telecom was privatized in 1984: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BT_Group. Even in the mid-1980s, it could take a long time for the average customer/consumer to be supplied with a telephone. It sounds ludicrous now, of course.

I knew someone from my schooldays who owned a couple of houses in South London, rented out by the room. He wanted the tenants to have a coin-operated telephone, and arranged with British Telecom to have one installed. After several months, he was getting angry that the telephone had not been installed. He was fobbed off with various reasons (excuses) until, finally so exasperated at the lack of action, about a year after he had asked for the installation, he called British Telecom to say that he was cancelling the order, only to be informed that the telephone was going to be installed a couple of days later. Which it was. Still, a whole year just to get a telephone!

That kind of rationing did not affect people equally. I remember being told, in the late 1980s, at dinner in Lincoln’s Inn, and by (now-deceased) Lord Justice Parker [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Parker_(judge)], that when he was first appointed a judge in, I think, 1969, that appointment had co-incided with his moving to a country house in a rather out-of-the-way part of Essex. There was no telephone.

Parker had then contacted the manager of the (then) GPO for the area to request installation of a telephone. He was told that it might take several months, if not longer. He then said that he needed a telephone for his work. The telephone manager had asked what work. “I have just been appointed a judge“. The manager then apologized, and said that a telephone would be installed that week. It was.

I imagine that the later Lord Justice of Appeal put his case quite forcefully. I certainly found him a rather unpleasant person, that one time that I spoke with him.

It sounds antediluvian now, when anyone can buy a basic mobile telephone for a small amount of money, and get it from a supermarket or other outlet in a matter of minutes.

The point is that the heavily-subsidized nationalized industries of 1945-1980s had become sluggish and a drag on economic efficiency. However, the privatization trend went too far in the late 1980s and 1990s. Now, the taxpayers fork out huge sums to notionally private enterprises, from railways and offshoots of the DWP and NHS, to the farming industry and others. We are getting neither proper service nor value for money.

The same is true of the “tax credits” payments put in place by Blair and Brown, and also the current “Universal Credit” low pay boondoggle. It subsidizes poor-paying employers out of public funds. That cannot be right.

When I had a Twitter account, pre-2019, I did what I could to tweet in support of those trying to save the trees of Sheffield, which was and maybe still is one of the top few UK cities with the most tree cover. The (Labour) council was, maybe (?) still is a disgrace. Those responsible for the vandalism should be punished, one way or the other.

Apparently, wife-beating Stanley Johnson “deserves” a knighthood because he has spent half a century in (and for much of that time paid by) the Conservative Party, and because he spent 17 equally well-paid years in the European Commission, supposedly dealing with “the environment”.

Personally, I think that all the Johnsons “deserve”, not honours but a good kicking (followed by a trip to, and up against, the wall).

The honours system is now totally ridiculous anyway, but while it exists it is more than irritating to see (e.g.) Stanley Johnson get a knighthood, or Nadine Dorries, that dishonest and stupid creature, get a peerage (as rumoured).

Who knows, to be targeted by shithead Hancock and his (I hope) very expensive lawyers for expressing my honest opinion (etc), or reposting the opinion of others, might be the projection into the public realm that I need (politically).

As a matter of interest, did Hancock ever sue anyone over that poster or tweet? I think not, and about 10 months has now elapsed. In fact, I read recently that Hancock himself was in process of being sued in libel (by Andrew Bridgen MP).

Many facing just criticism (eg “Bootstrap Cook” poverty “cosplay” performance artist and “grifter”, “Jack Monroe”) threaten libel suits. Few follow through, and even fewer actually succeed; and fewer yet live to collect: look at McAlpine— his superficially “successful” libel suit finished him off: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McAlpine_v_Bercow; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alistair_McAlpine,_Baron_McAlpine_of_West_Green. He died only months after getting the money.

So…Hancock up against the wall, along with his complicit “ho” Gina Something-or-other-foreign, also the rest of the then Cabinet, not forgetting “Professor” Ferguson and the rest of the “SAGE” manipulators, and many others.

This was never one of my areas of law when I was a practising barrister, but I hope that Maugham is, on this occasion, correct.

Those of us, at first a tiny minority, who realized that the “Covid” scare was, 95% of it anyway, just that, a scare (and a deliberately manufactured one at that) were called “conspiracy theorists” or, simply, “Covidiots” by the mainstream media, the “me too” groupthink Twitter mob etc; almost all of the Jew lobby too.

Well, who are the “Covidiots” now?…

That kind of thing fooled millions. I myself recall, when the panic was at its height, and when supermarkets were only allowing people in slowly, 6 feet apart (which itself was a nonsense, because once inside, the distances reduced to a foot or so), the line of glum shoppers would be monitored and supervised by black-clad Handmaid’s Tale “militia”. Some of those jobsworths (at the local Waitrose) even had the words “National Security” emblazoned on the back! I believe that the appropriate Internet phrase would be “ROFL“, or maybe “PMSL“.

In fact, I recall one of those “militia” idiots saying to a pro-lockdown (etc) dork ahead of me in the queue that he had “lost” one of his close family members “to Covid“. As we now know, that almost must have been a lie, or at least a mistake, but the “militiaman” seemed to be genuinely angry that anyone even might question the “Covid” narrative (in that case, though, not me but some earlier-in-line dissident).

Oh well, most security guards are scarcely likely to be anywhere near the top of the IQ range, but it still proves how powerfully the “Covid propaganda worked on the masses.

Reminiscent of those Jews who pretend to be terribly angry and upset about “holocaust” “denial” (investigation and revision of previously-accepted historical narratives) because they “lost family members“. They are, of course, referring to people they never knew, and who died long before the former were even born. Ersatz emotion(alism).

Those of us who stood up for freedom and truth during the “Covid” “panicdemic” can now feel justly proud, or at least fully-vindicated.

As for the rest, the “sheeple” if you like, well they have moved on, and are now nodding in unison and saying “me too” to other narratives, particularly “Ukraine” (meaning support, or at least “slacktivism” on Twitter, for the regime of the Jew Zelensky and his corrupt, shambolic, and yet dictatorial regime).

You still see the odd loony wearing a facemask. I saw one today in fact. About 90, and shuffling around Waitrose in her filthy disposable mask (probably worn by her for the past 3 years…).

Both true, i.e. it is true that Labour ministers under Blair (notably the Jews, Barbara Roche and Phil Woolas) wanted to flood Britain with immigrants in order, quite specifically (as as leaks proved) to ruin the white Northern European demographic of the UK. In the case of “Supertanskiii”, though, she does not even offer ghastly food recipes in return for monies sent to her by mugs. Why do people do that (send money to those who offer not even original or interesting ideas)? For “Supertanskiii”, I suppose that it is just an easy way to make a modest living— just mouth off on Twitter against “the Tories” several times a day. The mugs love that…

She does also offer cod-“analysis”, i.e. pretty much repeating whatever the Labour Party is saying at any given moment. Seems to have about 5-10 different people each day donating small sums to her, maybe about £50 a day in toto, at a guess.

It might be argued that the critics are now “kicking ‘Jack Monroe’ when she is down”, but I think that there are two counter-arguments to be made: first, she still has 479 utter mugs paying her a total of between (about) £1,800 and (about) £20,000 each and every month via Patreon.

Secondly, if the critics keep kicking her, maybe the msm enablers of this fraud (those still promoting her—if any are left) will awaken and thus prevent more naive and innocent victims from being scammed.

If that figure of 20,000 Kiev-regime fighters is correct, then if they are killed or captured, that would be a very significant success for the Russian side. If...

Yesterday, the Russian forces seemed to be in the ascendant. Now— uncertain.

Well, I have to say that that is more impressive than any of the bureaucrat-statements I have heard broadcast from the senior Russian Army officers.

If that statement is taken at face value, Prigozhin has more courage than most of the Russian leadership put together.

I wonder whether the Russian Army and/or GRU are stabbing Prigozhin and Wagner Group in the back. If so, at least if using the terms broadly, that would be, in the circumstances, both sabotage and treason.

There does not seem much else to say, but the backwash from the storm continues.

“Jack Monroe” herself has gone for the main chance, meaning a general “I’m sort-of sorry but will not/cannot refund anyone“, combined with a plea consisting of “I’m not really guilty of anything, because I am sort-of mentally-disturbed, ex-alcoholic, maybe ex-cocaine abuser, with a huge number of physical and mental problems (self-diagnosed autistic, ADHD, arthritic etc), as well as sort-of lesbian, sort-of ‘trans’, sort-of single mother, as well as a ‘shopaholic’, and anyway have spent all the money I took from people [cheated out of well-meaning mugs]”.

I suppose that the hard-core “Jack Monroe” fans will buy all or some of that, and that the 600+ utter mugs funding her lifestyle via the Patreon website will very likely continue to do that, even as she openly mocks them.

Damage to the septum?

Tweeter “@cashandcarrots” is another one who seems to believe that “Jack Monroe” has done things that “help the poorest and most disadvantaged in society” rather than nothing except help herself (literally).

What? What exactly has she done, when you strip away the virtue-signalling on social media and in the msm? Nothing.

“@cashandcarrots””Michelle” really cannot accept that she and others have been conned by a cunning and manipulative woman entirely out for herself. Even has to pretend that one of the staunchest critics of “Jack Monroe”, “@TruthSignalUK” is somehow part of a [non-existent] “trolling” conspiracy (why would he be, though?).

“@WivFunnyFarm” has evidently bought the “I’m unwell” exculpa.

That Bleasdale person tweets all sorts of rubbish. His tweet about the “Bootstrap Cook” is a good example of entirely false logic, i.e. presenting a false choice.

“Relentless advocacy for people on the breadline“? Not really. She mostly tweets and sends other online messages about herself, mixed with a bit of typical Twitter “I hate the Tories” stuff (I feel similarly about the “Conservatives”, to put it simplistically; but I also “hate” the “Labour” hypocrites). “Jack Monroe” also constantly messages or tweets with a subtext of “please send me money“.

I wonder whether the loonies and mugs sending money regularly to “Jack Monroe” will ever wake up to the fact that she despises them and mocks them?

As for the “Bootstrap Cook” herself, what are her talents? Not cooking, that’s for sure, looking at the swill that seems to be the bulk of her cuisine.

There is nothing wrong with being well-meaning, as tweeter “@PaulOnBooks” seems to be, but that has to go in tandem with an objective outlook. We are enjoined to be “as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves“. Both.

Good advice is never, or only very rarely, to trust a medical doctor who is primarily a socio-political activist.

More “Jack Monroe” lies, it appears.

“Jack Monroe” has a number, perhaps a large number, of Twitter “sock accounts”, many of which tweet “supportive” messages to her main account. Her level of dishonesty is incredible.

Whatever her problems are, they never get in the way of taking people for as much money as possible.

Whatever one may think of Peron and his wives, the fact is that political leadership is only one factor, albeit perhaps the most important, in whether a country is rich or poor (either overall as a country and notionally per capita, or in terms of how much that wealth is actually spread among the population).

Argentina was once a very wealthy country, certainly. Uruguay too. In fact, right up to the 1950s, Uruguay was one of the most prosperous countries in the world. A number of factors changed that.

There again, between 1918 and 1939, Estonia, Latvia and Czechoslovakia were very prosperous, and the citizens were, per head, much better off than the average of those in, say, the UK, France, or most other states. That changed mainly though not solely because of political changes and invasions, notably the Second World War and Soviet invasion (1940, and later 1944, in the case of the Pribaltika states; 1945 in the case of Czechoslovakia), Germany having also effectively occupied them during most of the war years.

Cuba was, economically, once a vibrant economy, albeit suffused with corruption and inequality. Castro’s socialist regime killed the economy. His decision to replace mixed farming with, mostly, a sugar monoculture (in the 1960s) worked up to a point, so long as the Soviet Union paid over the odds for sugar (and whatever else Cuba could export) but resulted in total collapse when the hidden subsidy was removed in the early 1990s.

Likewise, Cuba’s socialist experiment resulted in an end to development in the residential housing sector. Today, Havana and much of Cuba is falling to pieces, and people try to grow their own food if they can.

Some people say that the Cuban system is good re. medicine and education. “Education” in the basic sense perhaps, though obviously rigid in terms of what can and cannot be taught. As to medicine, perhaps so, again in a basic way, though.

The question is whether the supposed advantages of such a system are enough to compensate, both for the poor economy largely the result of that system and also for the harshness of the system politically and in terms of civil rights.

Russia before 1914 was arguably the fastest-growing economy in the world. War (lost war) and then civil war and political upheavals, followed by the socialist system —especially under Stalin from about 1928— weakened, and also distorted the economy. Collectivization, prioritization of heavy industry etc.

I recall reading the memoirs of the self-publicizing Jew Armand Hammer [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armand_Hammer]; Hammer— Witness to History. He operated businesses in agreement with the Soviet Government during the 1920s, including a concession to produce pencils.

Hammer discovered that the best pencils were produced in Bavaria. He imported to Moscow both machines and German technicians.

On returning to the Soviet Union in the 1970s or 1980s (I forget; 1970s, I think), Hammer was taken to the pencil factory, still operating. He discovered that nothing had changed: the machines were still working, a few of the original workers, now in their sixties, were still there; even his own old desk was standing unchanged in the same place.

An example of the lack of dynamic change in a socialist system.

Having said that, that same system put the first satellite into space, and created some products and programmes not seen even in the finance-capitalist West. Priorities? As Goering said in the 1930s, “Guns before butter“. That is, of course, a political choice.

Political direction is the single most important factor governing the prosperity of a country, but there are others. Where would the oil states of the Middle East be without demand for oil (and gas)? Back riding camels, almost certainly.

In their case, they have money in vast amounts despite their political and religious backwardness. There again, Europeans (and Americans, who are basically European in origin) discovered the oil and gas, extracted it, knew how to refine it, and also exported it to European and other markets. The Arabs only profited because they were there, and because they were on the cusp of the two contending Cold War cultures, neither part of the Soviet world nor the Western world.

Perhaps the best way to put it is that political leadership can assist an economy but cannot create it, whereas the wrong political direction can certainly ruin an economy, especially if that direction is too rigid. See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.

So “Jack Monroe” cannot, by her own admission (or claim) “manage money”, she cannot cook (as far as I can see), certainly not to any kind of professional standard, and she has cheated hundreds, probably thousands, of people out of money that many can ill-afford to lose, yet the msm is still promoting her! As someone who can advise “the poor”, at that! Why?

Well, this week I achieved 6/10, thus just beating political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 5/10. I did not know the answers to questions 3, 5, 8, and 9.

I was actually not quite sure about question 4, but against that I got question 1 right despite the fact that the question is itself flawed (the book in question was published in the late 17th Century, not 18th…).

It has only now come to my attention that the Chairman of the BBC (since February 2021) is one Richard Sharp, a Jew (or possibly half-Jew), who was previously an international banker worth several hundred million pounds, and who has given £400,000 to the Conservative Party.

Incidentally, Sharp’s sister, Victoria Sharp, is President of the King’s Bench Division of the High Court, and a former Lady Justice of Appeal.

The Plan is no “conspiracy theory”. Just look around you, especially if you live in a city and/or are over 40+ years of age (and so able to recall the 1960s and/or 1970s to compare).

Brilliant. Maybe I shall apply to have my old Twitter account restored, with “blue tick”. First target…well, we shall see. A pack of malicious Jews around the fake “charity”, “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, conspired to have it removed in 2018.

The idea that the NHS was somehow wonderful before 2010 or 2012 is just silly. I can recall seeing (as an almost daily visitor to a hospital, though not as patient) some appalling service and attitudes (as well as the opposite, and as well as surgical excellence) during the period 2012-2015, from only about 18 months after the 2010 General Election. It takes longer than 18 months for either positive or negative trends to develop in such a huge organization.

It is clear that maladministration is a major problem in the NHS, perhaps the major problem.

What a “mug” tweeter “@SteveChev1” must be. 643 other mugs are each sending “Jack Monroe” between £3.50 and £44 each month via the Patreon website, and not even getting the various bits and pieces promised; they are thus sustaining the not-uncomfortable lifestyle of the “Bootstrap Cook”. Somewhere between £2,500 and £30,000 each month.

Sadly, most people prefer the comforting lies, whether re. race, culture, Ukraine, migration-invasion, the “Covid” “panicdemic”, “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook”, the war against the German Reich, or whatever.

That tweet by tweeter “@360Raygun” is not as silly as it may seem to many.

There is nothing wrong with the principle(s) behind the NHS, but the system is just not working or properly working now, and simply increasing the pay of nurses, doctors and others (not that I oppose that) will not help in the slightest, because the administrative system is broken, from the top down.

It is a strange fact that the Scottish tabloids are even more treacherous, even less truthful, than those of England. That may be because both the pro-Israel and/or Jewish element(s) and the freemasonic element is very strongly embedded in Scotland.

Today, I took to Google Earth again (I find it quite addictive) to look at the area between Little Venice, where I lived for many years, and the Edgware Road Flyover. Huge changes.

The old “top security” Paddington Green police station by the flyover is closed down and presumably to be redeveloped. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paddington_Green_Police_Station.

A few steps away, a huge new development of rental apartments. I think that there were little shops and restaurants about 2 or 3 storeys high along Edgware Road, previously.

For such a central location, not too bad, aesthetically, but not cheap. The cheapest apartments come in at well over £2,000 a month, and many are £4,000 or more.

Actually, if anything an improvement on the tacky two or three-storey buildings previously there.

I notice that several old pubs have gone, including long-derelict-looking The Maida, where Edgware Road becomes Maida Vale (avenue). As blogged on a previous occasion, that pub, whose now-gone sign also said “Sir John Stuart, the Hero of Maida” (a general of the Peninsular War: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Stuart,_Count_of_Maida) is now no more, though the name “Hero of Maida” has been taken up by a new gastropub in another part of Maida Vale (area).

The original pub was the one after which the whole area, and that part of the A5 road, was named.

Another old pub has become a Moroccan restaurant, “Dar Marrakesh”.

The “Arab” part of Edgware Road, which at one time was the stretch between Marble Arch and the Flyover, has now spread further north as far as the start of Maida Vale avenue: Arabic shopfronts, ethnic food shops, shisha lounges etc. I have to admit though that, overall, Edgware Road actually looks better than it once did.

I notice that the old Metropolitan Cafe, which was opposite the police station and, presumably, named either after the police or perhaps the equally-nearby Metropolitan Line Underground station , is now a small convenience store. Another cafe-casualty has evidently been the 1930s cafe further along the road, which retained its original styling until at least the late 1990s, when I last consumed egg and chips therein.

I notice that there are more trees now, and that some that did exist 25 years ago are now quite grown.

I wonder what that area, and others, will look like in 2122. Perhaps they will resemble the destroyed ancient cities now visited by tourists visiting the countries around the Mediterranean.

Interesting. Is the actually quite laughable Sunak/Con propaganda, blaming Russia and Putin for Britain’s past ~15 years of economic mismanagement, working? Or is it that only 6% blame Sunak’s government because it is a. new, and b. seen as irrelevant?

Either way, it does not translate into Con votes, not on its own. I see that 29% either blamed others than the ones shown, or did not know who to blame, and that fewer than 6% anyway blame any sort of “Labour”. Unsurprising, when Labour has not been in government since early 2010.

Also, turns out that Liz Truss is proving a useful scapegoat for Sunak, with 21% of those asked blaming her, and (presumably) Kwasi Kwarteng (aka Woollyhead Trussbanger), for the present difficulties.

What is amazing is how many tweeters are still apparently supportive of the “Bootstrap Cook”. From what I have seen, many appear to be virtue-signalling and/or dim women (not a few with mental health problems), and possibly eccentric older men. Few if any under 30, and most well over 50. Few, if any, “poor” or “struggling”. Most are apparently rather comfortably-off.

As of today, 667 “patrons” are wasting their money (up to £10 a month, every month) on “Jack Monroe” via the Patreon website, so she is receiving up to £6,670 per month in cash (minus any Patreon fees) from that source alone.

Of course, only the “Bootstrap Cook” knows how much her income is. If the 667 Patreon donors are all giving only £3.50 a month, then the monthly total reduces to £2,334.50, minus Patreon fees, if any. At least £2,000 in cash, anyway, every month.

Not a fortune, but “a nice little earner” all the same, as people are said to say. Especially when one considers that added to that are any other income sources, such as book royalties (she has 7 books in print, including a new one coming out in January 2023), any appearance fees or other msm payments, and any other and smaller payments such as Child Benefit (about £95 a month for one child).

I have long ago ceased to expect sense from most people, but the “let’s give money to ‘Jack Monroe’” thing is egregious even so, especially when many of those giving almost certainly have less money than her.

I wondered how long it would be before assertions of either physical illness or mental collapse would be wheeled out. Together with allegations that those on Twitter who are asking, inter alia, “where did the money go?“, are “bullying” her, or engaging in abuse and/or “harassment”.

There may be some truth in her above tweets (about her being stressed etc), but what strikes me is how there is still no addressing of the main allegations many have made against her: Patreon donors who were in many or most cases neither supplied with anything promised, nor with refunds requested; misuse of donations for various purposes given to her, including the “libel case” crowdfunder (supposedly to be used for an action against Conservative Party MP Lee Anderson and/or political commentator Martin Daubney).

If (and she does still have, in extremis, 5 months or so left in which to bring a claim) there is no claim brought against Lee Anderson, and if the monies raised for the legal costs are not (as I read was promised) in that event given to charity, the “Bootstrap Cook” might find herself in real trouble. A black woman in Bristol is awaiting possible Crown Court trial on allegations that she, said black woman, crowdfunded for a legal action or actions but then just kept those monies for her own use.

In fact, “Bootstrap Cook” has not mentioned, as far as I have seen, the Daily Mail report (easygoing though it was) about her: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11403551/Row-anti-poverty-campaigner-Jack-Monroe-detractors-flares-up.html.

I notice that, after only 3 comments from readers, the Daily Mail closed down further comment.

I have to say that, as far as I am concerned, those who donate to the woman thinking that they, the donors, are somehow engaging in activism against the present government and/or “poverty” generally, have a screw or two loose somewhere. All that they are doing is supporting the lifestyle of someone who firstly is really not “poor”, not by any realistic standard, but who also has a father —living in the same town— who apparently owns quite a number of buy-to-let properties. Presumably, the “Bootstrap Cook” has very considerable inheritance expectations somewhere down the line.

Still, as said previously, the behaviour of many people is often almost unfathomable.

Again the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.

People think that they are voting “Labour” or “Conservative”, but in reality they are voting for the “Great Replacement”, for the Jewish lobby, and for the New World Order [NWO; ZOG], no matter what System party they vote for.

Just imagine: even as of today, after about three to four months of detail emerging about alleged fraud and near-fraud, “grifting” etc, no fewer than 666 mugs are still sending “Jack Monroe” up to £10 each, every month. (Up to) £6,660 per month in cash.

One has to wonder why.

My opinion is that not all know about what has come out over the past months, but also that many do know yet simply cannot accept that they have been played, or duped, and/or wish to “virtue-signal” (though how supporting the lifestyle of “Bootstrap Cook” actually helps the very many poor and struggling people in our society is hard to understand).

After all, there are many many “activists” and charity workers agitating against poor pay and benefits, and against “food poverty”, “fuel poverty” and, well, poverty.

Likewise, there are quite a few (real) chefs and cooks who have applied their (real) skills to making low-budget food recently, among them the most famous, such as Jamie Oliver.

None of those people ask the public to support them or their lifestyle via Patreon payments, as far as I know.

One could argue that Patreon donors are volunteers, but that assumes that they know the full facts and are not being, in a word, defrauded, or tricked.

Actually, when you look at the Bootstrap Cook situation, you realize how easy it is for the politicians etc to bamboozle the British public over matters such as the “Covid” “panicdemic”, the facemask nonsense, the “Rule of Six” etc, the “austerity” stuff, the “Ukraine” mass media war etc. Add to that “Black Lives Matter”, “trans” nonsense, “anti-racism” etc.

At last, after three months of turning a blind eye and “I see no ships“, the msm is awakening.

More interesting to me than the content of the above (not uninteresting though it is) is the fact that Katie Hopkins has been allowed back onto Twitter.

I also am minded to return to Twitter, and with “blue tick”, mainly in order to promote my blog, but also in order to mock (simply by being back on Twitter) the Jew-Zionist pack that had me expelled in 2018; also, to irritate the self-promoting would-be “celebrities” etc who managed to get those blue ticks previously.

I would not go quite as far as that, in that I am unsure as to whether “Jack Monroe” had fraudulent intent right from the start. I concede, though, that her evident lack of interest in paying back monies taken (or even engaging with former donors) does give a rather poor impression, at the very least.

I have come to the conclusion that “Jack Monroe”, aka “Bootstrap Cook”, is about 1% positive for society, and 99% negative…

The more I have learned about her, her behaviour, and her whole contrived sales pitch, the less I have been inclined to be favourable to her and it.

Many people really want to “believe”, though, and prefer to shut their eyes to the facts. As of today, and despite months of increasing online and even msm disquiet around the “Jack Monroe” “brand”, 665 mugs are still remitting to her up to £10 a month, every month, via the website Patreon.

I agree with her on those particular points (but not on many others), though I struggle to accept that a self-describing “journalist” seems to be only semi-literate.

I may be mistaken, but I think that I read some time ago that she was a student at Durham University. Literacy seems to be dying out in the UK, as witness the product of all the “Justins” and “Emilys” scribbling for the online Daily Mail and other news outlets.

Re. the behaviour of half-Jew Raab, people should also be asking the question as to whether Raab behaves like that because he is not up to the job. It is a frequently-seen phenomenon in people who want the status of a powerful job but who are not really up to doing it.

Ukraine

As I predicted, Russia will now run an “oblique war” strategy, just as the Americans have done in the past in some parts of the world. In between the first Gulf War and the second, the actual invasion of Iraq, the Americans, via both sanctions and other measures, followed by missile attacks, did what one analyst called “breaking every bone in Iraq’s body without killing it“. That meant degrading and eventually destroying the electrical power infrastructure and, inter alia, the water and sewerage systems (the latter, in Baghdad and elsewhere, relied on electricity, not gravity).

Ukraine was already a “failed state”, more or less, before this war. Now it is a facade, propped up by Western aid, arms, ammunition and military training help. Economically, it is on its knees. Now, its electricity generation and distribution systems are also being reduced.

I would not write off Russia in this war.

News on the car radio this morning: there are now over 8 BILLION humans on Earth. In 1960, the figure was 3 billion. In other words, the world population is now not far from triple what it was only 62 years ago.

The detail is important, though. The rate of increase has slowed almost to a halt. Also, most of the population of the world is in a small number of countries: China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and a few others; and most of the increase in population is also in those and a few other countries.

The population of the USA has grown greatly in the past 60 years, but is now growing by only 0.1% annually. The same is true of many advanced countries. Some are not growing at all, others are growing only because of non-white immigration, but their core ethnic group is declining. Russia. Germany. UK. France.

I have previously mooted the idea that the number of human or humanoid souls rushing into incarnation (so as to experience the type of civilization we have presently while it still exists) has perhaps, arguably, come to a halt. For me, the world must have a smaller population, perhaps 10% of what now exists, perhaps even smaller. It is equally important that that population be mainly white Northern European. Either this incident was accidental, or the explosions are a false flag by the Zelensky regime, created to drag NATO into war with Russia. Either way, it was plainly not a deliberate attack on Poland, and thus should not trigger Article 5 of the NATO treaty.

In any case, now that states such as Poland, the Baltic states etc belong to NATO (which should never have happened), Article 5 should be abrogated. It is now nothing less than a dangerous trigger mechanism which may put all of Europe (and quite possible both the USA and Russia as well) to sword and flame.

This situation has been caused, at root, by the reckless NATO support for the Kiev regime. This is not our fight, and never has been.

Saw many tweets lambasting Waterstones for promoting the latest Jack Monroe book, Thrifty Kitchen, to be published in January 2023 at a cover price of nearly £20, but already discounted to £9.99. I wonder whether the “Bootstrap Cook” brand is now damaged beyond repair. Still, 665 mugs are still paying Jack Monroe between £3.50 and £10 a month each as an absurd act of virtue-signalling, so I imagine that she is pretty sanguine (so long as the thousands of pounds continue to roll in monthly).

I also saw this:

“Mark Lewis Lawyer” is not much of a threat to people who, even if they have libelled someone (not always as clear-cut as many imagine) have defences such as “truth”, “honest opinion”, “publication on a matter of public interest”, and/or either absolute or qualified “privilege”.

I have assessed and written about Mark Lewis several times over the years, though not recently (in fact not since 2018 or 2019). I would dispute that any of what I have written about him is actionable, but in fact he has never even threatened me with a defamation action, no doubt because he knows that he would lose, but also because he knows that my financial circumstances (both capital and income) are now such that even any victory in court would be of little use when any damages and costs awarded could never be collected. As for the “Bootstrap Cook”, her libel victory over Katie Hopkins was inevitable. It took no legal skill at all, or very little, in my view, bearing in mind that, as far as the libel itself was concerned, it had occurred because Katie Hopkins had demonstrably said something untrue about Jack Monroe (apparently mistaking her for the obscure socio-political scribbler Laurie Penny) that had caused Jack Monroe serious harm. It occurs to me that the “Bootstrap Cook” may have become a little gung-ho about libel actions after her easy victory over Katie Hopkins, who not only had to pay Jack Monroe £24,000 but also to sell her house to pay the £300,000 legal costs of Jack Monroe, a goodly chunk of which went, no doubt, to “Mark Lewis Lawyer”. Probably a third or so.

Not all defamation actions are so simple, or the awards and costs so easily collected.

Tragic. Those idiots thought that their way of life would be mainly upheld if they appeased the ANC. How wrong they were. Gave up their historically-conferred right, and what for? A comfortable life, a swimming pool, rugby, an SUV in the drive, a beer in a sports bar, golf, and no outright war.

Had they only held on for a short while, South Africa as a white European-origin country would have survived. The collapse of the Soviet Union and its satellites meant that funds and arms to the black rebels would have been cut off. Cuba, so prominent in so-called “liberation” struggles in Africa (Angola, Mozambique, South-West Africa/Namibia etc) was also cut off from Soviet funding after 1991, and had to withdraw from Africa.

The white population could have accelerated real apartheid, laagering the white populations mainly in specific parts of the country, as already planned for, and creating autonomous black zones and regions.

South Africa could have defended itself easily, with its powerful armed forces (including a navy, an airforce, as well as army); it even had atom bombs (six, which were dismantled in the mid-1990s). Other very advanced weapons too.

Water under the bridge now? Yes, but the white and the black populations continue to suffer the effects, not of white rule but of black rule.

If “Bootstrap Cook” is sued, I wonder whether she will pay out actual money this time for her previous solicitor, self-promoting Israel-based Jew, “Mark Lewis Lawyer”, to act for her? Last time, when “Jack Monroe” sued Katie Hopkins (and won £24,000 plus very heavy costs), Lewis acted (and instructed Counsel) on the “no win no fee” basis but, in that case, Bootstrap Cook was the claimant.

Reading about “Jack Monroe” recently, in far more detail than I have in previous years, I now wonder quite seriously whether some of her activities merit the attention of the Fraud Squad or the like. Hard to say without a full investigation.

Hallam poses as a “former organic farmer” whose “business” was apparently ruined (somehow) by “climate change”. In fact, his “farm” (smallholding) consisted of about 9.6 acres! More like a large garden. When I had lease of a country house in Cornwall 20 years ago, our gardens and other grounds were 4 acres or so (with de facto use of another 100). In the aerial photograph below, the bit my wife and I occupied was the main house and the area where the trees are:

I do not know enough about mental conditions to label someone who poses as all things to all men, but that seems to be “Jack Monroe”, in my opinion. Turn the kaleidoscope slightly, and you get a slightly different view. Turn it again, and again a slightly different picture appears.

Macron looks rather “needy” there. You would think that it is France, not Venezuela, that is a shambolic, pseudo-socialist, disaster…

It has been said (rightly or wrongly) that another Twitter account which asks for money is also “Jack Monroe” under a pseudonym. Seems unlikely, but I just do not know.

I have no idea whether that other account is (or was— the account being now deleted) “Jack Monroe”; whether it is or was, it seems to have been an outright fraud whoever was operating it.

Yet (as of today) 663 mugs are still sending money every single month to “Jack Monroe”; maybe as much as £6,630 per month. In cash. Taxfree. Also, scribblers from, eg, the Irish Daily Mail, are still tweeting in support of what now looks like it might be at least akin to an outright fraud.

The only way to sort out the competing claims seems to be a civil or criminal court examination.

My own opinion why so many (not poor, indeed often affluent) persons defend the “Bootstrap Cook” is because she has become a kind of totem for a number of causes, and that effect is facilitated by the multi-headed nature of her own well-publicized identity or identities.

People often just believe what they want to believe. You only have to look at “Boris” Johnson, who (tellingly, aided and abetted by the Press, TV and radio for 20 years) was able to convince tens of millions of people that he was hugely intelligent (he’s not), hugely cultured (he’s not) and has great socio-political ideas (he has no ideas at all beyond schoolboy “bridges over oceans” and the like). A complete idiot, yet millions, even now, believe in him.

“Boris” is only one egregious example of that syndrome.
