As the Irish may say, “Jay-sus! Will ya look at this ee-jit?!” (Boris Idiot): https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8584445/Over-50s-face-stay-home-order-nuclear-plans-drawn-Boris-Johnson.html

Millions of overs 50s could be given orders to stay at home as part of Boris Johnson‘s ‘nuclear plans’ to avoid another national lockdown.” [Daily Mail]

The latest statistics show 4,000 infections per day, but well under 100 deaths per day (yesterday 74, the day before 10, I think; these figures inflated anyway) from or with “the virus”.

It seems that, at present, 1 person dies for every 80-400 persons known to be infected. Many are infected but show no symptoms, so the real figure for the death rate (even taking the deaths figure as accurate) may be 1 death per 5,000 or even 10,000 infected.

It does not surprise me that the ludicrously misnamed SAGE committee (I prefer DUMB— Department Under Matt and Boris) is worried about public disorder. Incidentally, it it their job or their business to worry about that aspect? I think not. I suppose that that is what happens when proper government and administration is replaced by dystopian nonsense from people like Dominic Cummings.

I (like the “Government”) have been surprised to see how compliant and easy to scare and corral and order about the British people have been, but there is (probably) a limit.

The idea that the clown currently posing as Prime Minister can “order” anyone over 50 to “stay home” in a form of house arrest for months, or even years, is absurd. Even leaving aside the legalities, how would that even be enforced?

We have seen how compliant the rabbits of the UK are, but such a measure would certainly be unenforceable. For one thing, there are many who, though over 50, and even over 60 (like me) do not —on a good day!— look over 50. The police cannot check everyone’s age and, in the UK, people do not have to carry any ID or age papers, legally. So will the Handmaid’s Tale militia now used by supermarkets be checking passports at the door? This is unbelievable!

I shall, if such an “order” is ever given, be “49” for the duration, just like an ageing Hollywood actress.

In any case, I doubt whether many shops would actually enforce an “under-50s only” policy, firstly because that would wipe out half their trade (and many would buy as little as possible online to punish those retailers); secondly, such a policy by shops would surely be contra “equalities” laws, though admittedly that was never my area of expertise when I was at the Bar.

The “Government” (of clowns) has painted itself into a corner. Instead of taking sensible and limited measures early, such as stopping most inward flights, shooting “refugees” (migrant-invaders) in the Channel, closing pubs, nightclubs and crowded sporting and other events for the duration or at least for a few months, and stopping the Underground, other train services and other public transport, the idiots ordered the “lockdown” (shutdown of the economy). Result? A collapsing economy and little effect on “the virus”.

The next “policy” made up on the spur of the moment has been the facemask nonsense. “Holland’s top scientists said there’s no solid evidence coverings work and warn they could even damage the fight against Covid-19” [Daily Mail, 2 August 2020]

Kate Nicholls, of Hospitality UK, which represents pubs, restaurants and hotels, said shutting down ‘large chunks of the economy’ was a short-sighted strategy.

We need to be focusing on collective efforts to drive down and control infections,’ she said, adding that the hospitality industry directly employs 3.2 million, with another two million reliant through supply chains. ‘It’s simply too big to just switch off.

‘We would be talking about millions of people unemployed, a major loss of economic activity.‘” [Daily Mail]

One problem is that the people giving the ludicrous “orders” are people who have never actually run anything much, starting with part-Jew public entertainer Boris-idiot; then we have little Matt Hancock (did a year or so as a graduate teaboy at the Bank of England), Gavin Williamson (once a fireplace salesman with a pet spider), Dominic Cummings (tried to set up an airline in Russia 25 years ago; it failed after one flight); and let’s not forget the ivory tower merchants, Chris Whitty and idiotic Professor Ferguson (who said that 800,000 would die in the UK, and who broke his own rules by letting his married “ho” visit him during “lockdown”).

What a bunch of clowns! And we the people are expected to obey their confused and quite possibly unlawful decrees? Screw that.

Tweets seen about this latest nonsense

More than “decimate”, if the word is used (as it now rarely is) properly.

Well, I agree with the tweets above, most of all the final one! There are thousands more to be seen, all on the same page.

Other tweets seen today

Of course, not only the police, the Security Service etc know the identity, but also most MPs and many if not most journalists at the national level.

The mask is really coming off now. The “English gent” persona carefully crafted by Johnson since he was about 12 is now being replaced by the part-Jew, part-Turk charlatan playing the despot. That comes naturally to him. Johnson after all is not really English. As said, a part-Jew, part-Turk, born in New York City, brought up in the USA and Belgium until sent to Eton and Oxford to acquire the fake “English toff” persona (mask). Hard to say whether his patent inability to actually be an effective Prime Minister is an aggravating factor or a blessing in disguise.

Disturbing report

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8584003/Footage-shows-police-violently-dragging-grieving-father-dying-six-year-old-daughter.html

Without going into the rights and wrongs, on the face of it this is more than a disturbing report about one particular case. It seems to show the way the police are going in the UK. Only 2 months ago, persecuted singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz had her bedroom invaded quite early in the morning by a whole crowd of (mostly non-white) police “officers”.

The “police state” in the UK may be a “toytown” one at present, usually, but it is clear where this is going.

Latest from the bunch of clowns “government”

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8585181/Housing-Secretary-Robert-Jenrick-insists-bars-stay-open.html

Bars and pubs are the most likely places in which to transmit or get infected by “the virus”, so what does the government of clowns order? Pubs and bars can stay open and the customers can sit, drink, talk, shout or whatever without the requirement to wear a facemask or muzzle; but go next door to the supermarket and it’s “facemasks on or else!”. When did Britain become a country of scared unthinking rabbits ruled by clowns? I supposed that, like the Fall of the Roman Empire, it happened bit by bit, and almost unnoticed.

Imagine, a little pissant like Robert Jenrick posing as a Cabinet minister! Then again, Boris-idiot as Prime Minister…This whole situation veers between tragedy and farce.

Opinion polling

As usual, unsurprising. A government of clowns, and an official Opposition which weakly supports (with mild carping) whatever the clowns are doing. Result? In a situation where the polled are asked which of the “main parties” (in which select group is included, ludicrously, the all-but-dead LibDem party) they support, people just say one or the other of Con or Lab, without conviction, without interest, despising both almost equally.

African wildlife

Poachers must be sought out and killed off. Their bases as well.

Boris-idiot

I do not know whether Dan Hodges ever “sold out” (as Corbyn supporters claim), because I have no idea whether he ever had any real political beliefs or principles before he started to doormat for the Jewish lobby and the Conservative Party. All that can be said is that the article above is as fine a piece of sycophantic rubbish as I have seen for many a day. In fact, the tweet accompanying it hits the spot better.

Useful information

We never know what will happen in life. “Prepping” may not be as silly as many imagine…

I wonder whether many people would have imagined, say a year ago, that the UK government would shut down much of the economy, tell most people to stay at home unless shopping, and have the police going around harassing lone sunbathers on beaches, and elderly couples walking on the fells of the Peak District? Or that the entire population would be told to wear facemasks in shops etc, though not in pubs? Or on trains and buses, but not in offices?

Likewise, who would have thought, a year ago, that so-called “refugees” would be escorted across the Channel and put up in 4-star hotels (and given money on top) by the tough-talking “Conservative” government? Or that those detained ready to be deported would all be released?! Not many, I think.

How many of the over-50s, who were the ones that mainly voted “Conservative” in 2019, would have thought then that their being put under house arrest indefinitely would be a subject for serious discussion by the very government they had voted into unmerited office? Not many, I think.

TUI

So Tui is going to close down 166 travel agency shops. I suppose that that must add up to about 1,000 people losing their jobs. Tui is owned mainly by a Russian; for once a real one, not a Jew, but that has not improved his behaviour. He is supposedly worth USD $20 billion, and is the 4th-richest individual in Russia, yet in 2001, when already a billionaire, was paying only $600 a month to keep his ex-wife and their son alive…

Few in Russia would want the old Soviet system back, particularly the unfree sneaking and spying system run by the KGB (mainly the Second Chief Directorate), but the present system of oligarchy and near kleptocracy cannot last forever. Too many inequalities and, worse, too many inequities.

Of course, Tui closing its doors (only the offline ones) is not really a function of the Russian economy but solely of the UK one, meaning the mad “lockdown” shutdown.

Evening tweets seen

Yes. We are all used (in theory) to the idea of the “police state”, in which the state, and/or a dictator, tyrant, despot or fanatical political party imposes rule by force and penal laws.

What is so diabolically cunning about the present situation is that the public has in effect been scammed; fear has been weaponized. Not fear of the State or the police or the law, but of “the virus”. A fairly serious public health problem has been blown up into a deadly plague by which people will be killed.

Once the population internalized that fear, the other measures, such as police control, fines, social pressure, simply reinforced the feeling of social obedience or compliance.

The Charlottenburger Chaussee. There must be something like a hundred thousand there.

Well, it’s a start!

Facemasks

The UK Government itself, despite making the wearing of masks compulsory on public transport, admits that the wearing of such masks has minimal effect on the Coronavirus situation generally, and in fact no more than minimal effect in terms of protecting the wearer or anyone else.

So why make the wearing of “face coverings” (which can be something as loose as a college scarf!) compulsory? Because this incompetent government is driven entirely by public relations and opinion polls. The plebs have been scared out of their skins by months of governmental and mass media propaganda. As a result, you see frightened rabbits wearing masks in Waitrose, carefully trying to stay the (again mandated for no reason— no scientific evidence backs it) “2 metres social distancing” from other shoppers.

The average age of death from Covid-19 in the UK is around 82, and most of those people have comorbidities. I said to our managers that we had to test people and could not just be throwing them into nursing homes. But that is what they did. Homes were virtually ordered to take elderly patients. We had one nursing home that ended up with 12 deaths in a week.”

The health service treated elderly, vulnerable people as figures on a piece of paper. The lack of any brain power being applied to this was amazing. They had one objective – to clear the hospitals – and everything else was subordinate to that. Of course, they will never say this is what happened. But that is precisely what did happen.”

We are probably all going to get Covid-19 and we are all going to keep getting it. The only purpose of lockdown was to protect the health service from being overwhelmed, which did not happen. The end result is that lockdown was a waste of time. It cannot be continued forever.”

[Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, in Spiked magazine]

If you were a German camp commandant somewhere like Belsen at the end of the war, and your inmates died of disease and malnutrition because Allied bombing etc had cut off supplies of food and medicine, you got hanged when the British or Americans arrived, but if you are an NHS adminstrator, and you deliberately send elderly and sick people somewhere, knowing that they will die as a result, or not caring (and you were “following orders” from superiors and Government), you are not hanged. People think that you are wonderful. They even stand outside their houses and clap like idiots on command to thank you. Mad world.

How very true that is. A Cabinet headed by Boris-idiot, who is part-Jew, part-Turk, part-GodKnowsWhat, born in New York City, brought up largely in the USA and Belgium, descendant of generations of con-men.

Then there is the rest of the Cabinet, a scrapheap of Jews, Indians, and at least one woman (and a stupid woman at that) who became an MP on her back (if such is the bon mot); then we have an idiot (Williamson) who, as Defence Secretary, played with his pet spider while “threatening” China with a gunboat in the South China Sea (China has 850 large naval ships…), and so on. [Williamson is now Education Secretary, because even Boris-idiot saw that Williamson’s level of knowledge about military and naval affairs, and strategy, is limited to Airfix model soldiers, or playing Risk].

I have been critical of previous UK Cabinets and governments, but this one is unsurpassed. Jesus H. Christ!

This government is incompetent but, more than that, it is —like its predecessors— a tool of the New World Order conspiracy/consensus and the Jew Zionist occupation. ZOG/NWO.

I think, subject to correction, that it was William Cobbett (or maybe John Stuart Mill) who said that a sign that English liberty was no more would be when or if the civil jury were abolished. That is the civil jury, not the criminal jury.

In fact, the civil jury was largely a dead letter by the time of the Second World War, and was used in only a discrete number of case types. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juries_in_England_and_Wales#Civil_juries, a situation which has become even more constricted in recent times. Even defamation cases are now commonly heard in the absence of a civil jury: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juries_in_England_and_Wales#Civil_juries

That was the civil jury. However, it has never been seriously mooted that the criminal jury be abolished. I say “seriously”; there have always, at least in my lifetime, been those against criminal juries. In my view, these critics mostly come into two categories: those (often academic lawyers) who think that ordinary juries are too stupid to think through the facts of cases properly; also, the more extreme “law and order” fanatics, who think that criminal juries acquit too often.

I disagree. While I do agree that (as far as observation can judge) the ordinary jury is certainly not on a high intellectual level, what the jury does, in reality, is import both a sense of justice and a societal imprimatur to the verdict. It is the job of both counsel and judge to explain the case to the jury in a way that will enable the jury, as the arbiters of fact in the case, to come to a just conclusion.

There have been exceptional cases. The Diplock courts in Northern Ireland: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplock_court. A friend of mine, a barrister, saw a Diplock court in operation in Belfast, in the 1980s. He said that it was like a bizarre parody of a normal UK court. The judge was similar, the barristers were similar, but there was no jury, and there were policemen there toting submachineguns! Incidentally, in the case that my friend saw, the accused was acquitted.

Comment: https://www.counselmagazine.co.uk/articles/opinion-juries-in-isolation

It may be that the size of the jury will be reduced: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8272455/Juries-reduced-size-time-WWII.html

Even in the Second World War, jury trials continued, and even in cases of espionage: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/aug/28/britain-nazi-spies-mi5-second-world-war-german-executed, though I have to wonder how the discretion of the jury was maintained. Maybe the jury were “selected” specially, though they did occasionally acquit alleged German (usually Abwehr) agents.

Barristers vary much in their political and social views, but the vast majority still support jury trial in criminal cases.

I am also concerned about the idea of “virtual” trials, where the demeanour and impression of the witnesses cannot be, in my view, properly judged. That becomes all the more important in serious criminal cases

Traditional courts such as the Old Bailey (sketched during the trial of Ian Huntley) are too small to maintain social distancing so could be swapped for large lecture theatres

The blacks think that they are in the ascendant, but of course have no idea (((who))) is pulling their strings.

This “Black Lives Matter” nonsense is basically a puppet show for fools (including, sadly, quite a few white ones). Behind it is part of the ZOG/NWO scenario.

It does not really matter whether you call it The Great Replacement, White Genocide, or anything else. What matters is that white Northern Europeans are being systematically targeted by forces of evil. War has been declared, on all fronts.

Of course, there is a widespread though unfocussed wish for a better society. That wish is being used as a kind of motive power for a number of things, movements, events, which in fact (if they come to fruition) will bring into flower a society of evil, just as the legitimate desire of Russians and others in pre-revolutionary Russia led not to a better society but to one far worse in most respects than had been the case before the Revolution(s).

The present discontent

An opinion poll says that only 6% of UK people want to return to their former (pre-Coronavirus) lives. In a sense, that does not surprise me. While many (including me) disliked the “lockdown”/shutdown for various reasons (civil rights, the damage done to the economy, society and the health of the nation etc), there are many (as I blogged from the start) who were and are enjoying it all.

The more affluent part of society rather liked the “lockdown” because many of such people have pleasant detached houses, with large grounds or gardens, swimming pools, tennis courts, even stables. Many were “working from home”, either doing less work than usual or at least not having to commute for hours, or go to meetings etc. For many, it has been an early “endless Summer”. The Chardonnay and seafood has been delivered by Waitrose or Ocado, the only thing missing is the social interaction (and if those “rules” are broken, who’s to know anyway?).

What about those “furloughed”? The lower-paid, below about Β£30,000 p.a., are having 80% of their pay covered (up to Β£2,500 per month), with no need to work and no need to spend on transport to such work. True, that does not cut it for people on higher salaries, but many of those are “working from home”, not furloughed. Others may just have chosen to look upon it as a partly-paid holiday of sorts.

Even the unemployed and/or disabled are better off during “lockdown”. The DWP has suspended its pathetic but cruel regime of “face to face interviews” (with semi-educated jobsworths from DWP itself or from carpetbagging private companies), and no-one (as far as I know) is required to “seek work” by making 100 or 50 (?) pointless applications every week.

Leaving money aside, many people have rather liked the absence of boring old work in itself. Then there is the natural world. I myself have noticed the resurgence of Nature, birds in particular.

In the past, I have blogged about how society should move from the workaholic frenzy of the past 40 years to, not a 1960s “society of leisure”, but to a less harried lifestyle (which I have called the “society of measure”).

What that means is that there must be a rhythm and structure to society. Our society must not be this dystopian, pseudo-“libertarian” finance-capitalist frenzied rush, “open all hours” society; the “eat your sandwiches at your desk” society.

Such a “society of measure” will have at least one day a week reserved, if not for religion and philosophy, at least for watching old (or new) films at home, for playing bowls, or cricket, or polo at home (or at least not professionally). Also, for boating, or lazing, or whatever else is not directly productive.

Yes, that does mean no “B&Q” or other stores open on the designated “day of rest” (and recreation); it also means that the people who work in retail have at least one day off.

It may be worth looking at hours of work. Even if the now usual 40 hours per week were to be retained, that could be changed to 10 hours per day, 4 days per week, or some other configuration.

At present, the Boris-idiot government is saying that it wants to go for, as an earlier government put it, a “dash for growth”. Disastrous. Sunday trading hours to be expanded, gimcrack housing speading like a cancer over the countryside, planning regulation chucked aside, and so on. Completely wrong.

These (below) were my thoughts on this topic a few years ago: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2016/12/03/the-society-of-measure/

Significant. People have seen the result of the pennywise/poundfoolish spending cuts of the past decade. As a Russian acquaintance of mine put it to me in 1993, referring to Leninism-Stalinism, and as we were sitting in the palatial main foyer of the Ukraina Hotel in Moscow, “Ian, that is an experiment that we do not wish to repeat“…

As in UK and across Europe. More testing means more “new cases”, but few require even basic medical attention; the death rate thankfully receding, because very few people who get the virus need medical help, and even fewer actually die from this.

Governments across the world (some governments) have made the wrong decision(s). The world economy is taking a huge hit, unnecessarily. The UK is facing a really major problem now.

The world (well, UK) in one tweet

I saw the tweet and radio clip below. For me, it contains about 6 things that make the UK worse than it need be. A radio presenter who is a Jewish woman (nein danke) and who is pursuing an “agenda” (nein danke), a radio show that is a bloody bore (nein danke), a black woman who is an MP (nein danke), and an MP (same MP) who is obviously as thick as two short planks and can hardly speak English even though born and (semi) educated in the UK.

NEIN DANKE! TO ALL OF THAT!

Deadhead MPs, An Occasional Series: The Gavin Williamson Story

Introduction

I had meant “Deadhead MPs” to be indeed “occasional” in these blog pages, but the “democratic” deadheads are so prevalent now, and so prone to getting themselves into trouble and into the newspapers, that I have had to write more often about them than I had at first intended.

Gavin Williamson’s background

So we move to Gavin Williamson. Where to start? At the beginning, I suppose: Williamson was born in 1976, in “bracing” Scarborough. His parents were both public sector office workers. Comprehensive school was followed by the University of Bradford, where he read Social Sciences. He was involved with the rowdy and eventually shut down Conservative Students organization, of which he was penultimate Chairman.

Williamson must have graduated in 1997 or 1998. The next we hear of him is in 2001, in North Yorkshire, where he was a county councillor for a while. He is also at that time involved in Conservative Party activities in Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

There is an obscurity about Williamson. We do not know what non-political jobs he has done, save for having been Managing Director of a fireplace manufacturer, Elgin & Hall, for a while (until 2004) and then Managing Director of and shareholder in Aynsley China, a Stoke on Trent china manufacturer founded in 1775 and which was dissolved in 2014. It seems, again, obscure as to when Williamson’s connection was severed, but between 2005 and his election as MP in 2010, he was also Managing Director of an architectural design firm or company. So we are told.

Am I missing something here? Williamson came from modest origins, his academic background seems to have been at best mediocre, there is no evidence in the public domain (that I have seen) of family wealth, yet here is Williamson, still in his twenties at that, becoming managing director of three separate companies in three different industries or areas of commercial activity, despite the fact that his academic background was in Social Sciences, nothing to do with business, industry, china manufacture, pottery, architecture or design. He is even described as “co-owner” (major shareholder?) of a china manufacturer. Where did he get the capital? Very odd.

It is likely that Williamson is a freemason, but all the same, his being appointed to those jobs (all seemingly within about 5-6 years) is a little strange, somehow.

Parliament

Williamson made a racing start in the House of Commons from election in 2010. He became a Parliamentary Private Secretary or PPS to a minister in 2011, again (this time to a Cabinet minister) in 2012, then made another career leap in 2013, becoming PPS to the Prime Minister (David Cameron-Levita).

In 2016, he supported Theresa May in her leadership bid, mainly (we are told) in order to stop Boris Johnson. In return, upon her victory, May made Williamson the Government Chief Whip.

In 2017, following the resignation of drunk and sex-pest Michael Fallon as Secretary of State for Defence (I feel another blog post in this series coming on…), Williamson was appointed to replace him.

Secretary of State for Defence

It was after having been appointed to Cabinet that Williamson’s lack of serious academic, political and intellectual background began to tell, resulting in a series of blunders and gaffes. The Sun “newspaper” reported that “

Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has β€˜lost the plot’ over barmy plan to put guns on tractors

Other crazy ideas include disguising mobile missile defence systems as Coca-Cola lorries and transforming old commercial ferries into beach assault craft”

and continued:

DEFENCE Secretary Gavin Williamson has stunned military chiefs with crackpot ideas to solve an equipment crisis β€” including fitting tractors with guns. Williamson‘s department faces a shortfall of Β£20billion in its budget for new equipment.”

A source said: β€œThe man is out of his mind. No one knows what to do.”

As the MoD struggles to deal with a budget black hole, Williamson has been accused of hatching a series of crackpot schemes to solve an equipment crisis.

According to several senior sources they include:

  • MOUNTING β€œreally expensive guns” on tractors and disguising mobile missile defence Βsystems as Coca-Cola lorries;
  • BUYING old commercial ferries and transforming them into beach assault craft, and;
  • WASTING thousands of hours of civil service time on plans to launch his own medal

One insider said staff are at their wits’ end with Williamson, who insists on keeping a pet tarantula called Cronus in his MoD office.

The source added: β€œWe need billions and serious ideas to tackle serious problems.

β€œYet Williamson is mucking about with his spider and coming up with crazy suggestions. The man is out of his mind.

β€œHis behaviour is totally bizarre and no one knows what to do.”

“Williamson took over at the MoD in November. The source added: β€œEveryone had so much hope in him. It all looks so misplaced now.”

Defence chiefs now fear Williamson’s bizarre regime has torpedoed any hope of the MoD getting Βdesperately needed extra money out of the Treasury.

It needs Β£1billion more a year just to keep the armed forces at their present size β€” and it has to somehow fill a potential Β£20billion budget deficit in its Β£179billion ten-year equipment plan.

But sources say ex-furniture salesman Williamson’s failure to grapple with the detail and refusal to heed expert advice is proving disastrous.”

“It is feared he also scuppered any chance of a financial aid package by briefing against the Treasury and boasting he could β€œmake or break” Theresa May as PM.

Williamson’s idea for armed tractors is said to have come at a summit on the equipment budget.

A source said: β€œGavin just came out with it. He said, β€˜Can’t we buy tractors and put really expensive guns on them?’ People were open-mouthed. Others didn’t know where to look. It was totally bizarre.”

Williamson has since denied Βmaking the comment.”

But insiders say it was just one of a stream of nonsensical suggestions.

He allegedly outlined the disguised missile trucks during a meeting with his Polish counterpart to discuss the renewed Russian threat.

A source said: β€œThe idea was to have an HGV with the livery of the Coca-Cola brand β€” but inside would be a missile defence system.

β€œHis plan was missiles systems disguised as soft drinks delivery trucks. No one really knows why.” [The Sun]

More:

  • Williamson thought that a proper way to respond to the Spanish government over Gibraltar was to fire paintballs at Spanish Navy gunboats;
  • Williamson responded to Russian comments about the Skripal affair by saying that “Russia should just shut up and go away”, hardly a suitable response, neither tough (bearing in mind Russia’s alleged behaviour) nor intelligent (bearing in mind Russia’s enormous and growing strength!);
  • Williamson “threatened” to send a warship (one of maybe a dozen or so that the UK now has) to the South China Sea, to intimidate China…That would really frighten a country that has 512 large ships, about 800 naval aircraft alone, and a quarter of a million sailors! (see the link in the Notes, below, for details of the truly fearsome Chinese order of battle on the high seas).

In Williamson’s very silly mental landscape, throwing around schoolboy remarks about paintballs, shutting up nuisances with a throwaway remark and disguising mobile missile-carriers as Coca-Cola trucks serve as brainstorming, I suppose…

Now, of course, Williamson has been sacked for supposedly having leaked secret talks in the National Security Council (NSC). He denies having done so. As Mandy Rice-Davies said, in another context, “well he would, wouldn’t he?”

What can we learn from this farce?

For me, there is much that could be learned, were there politicians with the ability to learn.

First of all, I am concerned less about the leak, or who did it, than the fact that a mediocre little careerist like Williamson could ever become an MP, let alone minister, let alone Cabinet minister. It must be something to do with freemasonry and/or the Israel lobby (is Williamson a member of Conservative Friends of Israel? Odds-on…).

Secondly, I am concerned that the now-ex Secretary of State for Defence has so much time on his hands that while in office he can spend a quarter of an hour telling his contact at the Daily Telegraph all about his day (or whatever). Also, was that mobile telephone secure?

As soon as the leak scandal blew up, I thought “either Williamson or Fox”. Fox probably learned his lesson when Cameron-Levita caught him leaking years ago.

South Staffordshire is one of the safest Conservative seats. Williamson got 69.8% of the votes cast in 2017.

What now?

Williamson has been replaced by Penny Mordaunt, though the reason remains obscure. Surely her stints as naval “reservist” sub-lieutenant were not taken into account? Rory Stewart MP, arguably a better candidate, was also elevated, but to another ministry.

As to Williamson himself, there are now calls for him to face police action and possible prosecution. Theresa May would rather avoid that, in the runup to the EU elections, but time will, of course, tell. Watch this space.

Update, 6 May 2019

I doubt whether Williamson can ever recover from this whole situation, though he will be able to stay on as MP unless sacked by his local Conservative association. He will not be seen on the Conservative front benches again, though.

Update, 2 August 2019

Well, I was wrong. Not about Willamson as such, but the parting comment that his frontbench Conservative career had finished. Incredibly, Boris-idiot has appointed Williamson as Secretary of State for Education! So this twerp is actually posing as a Cabinet minister again! At first I was incredulous, but there again, you have a complete idiot as Prime Minister, and a bunch of total fuck-ups as Cabinet ministers anyway: Priti Patel, Matt Hancock, Sajid Javid, Liz Truss, Grant Shapps (!), that little pissant Robert Jenrick, Dominic Raab, Michael Gove, Andrea Leadsom, Amber bloody Rudd, the idiotic James Cleverly, Liz Truss (!), Theresa Villiers (a doormat for the Jew-Zionist lobby even in a Cabinet stuffed with Zionists and pro-Zionists) etc…

and…among those who sit in on Cabinet without being members, Nadine Dorries (I mean, how lowbrow can you go?) and even, on occasion, apparently, ah…the fellow who runs the Wetherspoon’s pub chain! Who is not even an MP!

Among the rest of the Cabinet and the occasional attendees, I suppose that Williamson does not stand out as impossibly half-witted. No, he fits in just fine…

“Ian Millard has left the building”…

Update, 4 March 2022

Williamson was dismissed as Education Secretary in 2021; also dismissed from Cabinet and Government.

Unbelievable.

Update, 8 November 2022

A useless freeloader, personifying the broken UK political system.

Update, 25 May 2024

From the next general election, Williamson’s current seat of South Staffordshire will be split, with Williamson being selected as the Conservative candidate for the newly formed constituency of StoneGreat Wyrely and Penkridge. Philip Catney, a senior politics lecturer at Keele University described the newly formed constituency as a safe seat, with a Conservative MP being “guaranteed a job for life”.[94]

On 4 September 2023 Williamson was told by a Parliamentary independent expert panel to apologise to the House of Commons and to take behavioural training. The panel concluded that he had abused his power when he sent Morton text messages in 2022.[95]

An “eccentric” but not a pleasant one. Useless idiot.

Update, 12 August 2024

Williamson, now “Sir” (having been knighted, controversially in 2022: see https://voxpoliticalonline.com/2022/07/02/was-this-extra-marital-boris-johnson-sex-act-the-reason-times-story-on-carrie-symonds-was-pulled/ and https://brokenbottleboy.substack.com/p/everything-sucks), was re-elected at the 2024 General Election. He might have lost to Labour had Reform UK not decided not to stand a candidate, but there it is.
