Today’s belated Diary Blog will be truncated by reason of a national, possibly international, attack of some sort on Internet provision; the blog will therefore consist mainly of tweets that struck my attention today. There will be relatively little analysis.
I have also been musing today about how so many who try to do bad things to me, or who have written or said bad things about me, suffer severe hits themselves one way or another. A number have even died from various causes, though not directly through any agency of mine, I should add.
I may write about that some day.

My two favourite foreign countries ie Japan and South Korea prove that PC globalist theory is incorrect . Japan, whilst it has had three decades of slow economic growth and difficulties since 1990, still has the world’s third largest economy with many Japanese owned vibrant, export orientated companies AND it is still 98% ethnically Japanese.
South Korea is about 96% ethnically Korean and has great companies like the massive Samsung Group and LG electronics, Hyundai etc.

I was hoping for some good news on my birthday ie that the evil and very stupid, effectively Covid -19 denying bastard that is Peter Hitchens has expired but sadly that is still not the case. Why can’t he just piss off?
He keeps-on and on and on expounding his utterly ludicrous and profoundly dangerous theories about the virus which have absolutely no basis in scientific reality thus putting other people at risk of dying. As the USA has shown particularly well a pandemic which has the potential to kill MANY MILLIONS. Too many Americans are showing no regard for basic common sense and ignoring government health advice hence that country’s very high death rate. Too many here show contempt for our regulations hence our country’s disgraceful high death rate as well.
WITHOUT lockdowns and quarantines etc and other mitigation strategies this pandemic would have undoubtedly led to many more deaths.
Peter Hitchens wants us to go about our lives as if we still lived in normal times but sadly we don’t have that luxury.
