Ha. While not endorsing that tweet particularly, the point about the uselessness of the “security and intelligence” bods echoes my blog over the years. Not just SIS and MI5, but also the armed forces. What are they for, now? They cannot even stop the cross-Channel migration-invasion, let alone the wider mass immigration influx. The prospect of war with France, Spain, Germany, Denmark has receded into history. So what are the Navy and other forces for? To ferry yet more invaders to our shores?
As for SIS, and MI5, they still seem largely stuck in the era of “burgling the War Office safe”, or that of the key spy or defector (Penkovsky, Lyalin, Gordievsky etc), the existence of which will change everything (but never does).
Irrelevant in a fast-changing world.

I wonder WHY they have refused statehood? Might it because the Zionist fanatics in Tel Aviv have ensured that settlers from Brooklyn to take just one overseas location have taken over the most productive parts of the West Bank ect leaving only a tiny fraction of mostly useless land which even with the best will in the world and hard work wouldn’t be able to form the basis of a cohesive and sustainable state?

Indeed, the ‘two state solution’ sounds plausible to many people but in reality it is now a non starter not least because of the actions over decades of the Zionist entity’s government and those foreign governments, particularly that of the USA, and foreign politicians who have supported the Zionist state so fervently and disregarded that state’s actions giving it a free pass to do anything it wanted.

Yes, the Zionist entity is a very small place even when you include the occupied territories of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
It was profoundly silly for the Zionists to try and found a settler colonialist state for Jews in Palestine not only because it already had an indigenous population but also because such a small land couldn’t house a greater proportion of the world’s Jews than it does now.
Trying to get the Soviet Union’s rulers to allow a Zionist state to be founded in that Russian Jewish oblast would have been better as there is more room. Indeed, there is no doubt enough room there to house the entire world Jewish population of 15 million plus people.
I know that Palestine is a special place for Jews but it is also for the two other major world religions of Islam and Christianity.

Try and be a bit more sophisticated in your understanding of current affairs and not just think like your typical The Scum or Daily Zionist Mail ‘reading’ dullard school dropout, Sir M J Sheppard.
Whilst some on that march have sympathy for terrorism the vast majority don’t. The Ultra-orthodox anti-Zionist Jews from the Neturei Karta organisation in the UK would have been on that march and they don’t have a motive to support Islamist terrorism. They are obviously not muslims!

Thank you. I try to avoid having too close an interest in any kind of Jews. I am aware that there are these anti-Israel Jews around, complete with funny hats etc but, as I understand it, the more usual Jews dislike them.
I can well understand that Israeli Jews who have to work, pay taxes, serve in military forces etc dislike a group that does none of those and which lives parasitically upon the rest (and also wears unpleasantly-inappropriate clothing for the climate of the Middle East).
In the words of a (children’s?) poem or song I saw somewhere:

The more usual Jews dislike them in the Zionist state for that reason. Outside the Zionist entity they dislike them because they actually bother to follow the Torah (not Talmud) ie REAL Judaism hence their opposition to the Zionist entity and its disgraceful and disgusting atrocities.
The other Jews are mostly atheists or are barely religious at all hence they back Zionism, support its inhumane actions, and other troublesome attitudes which helps to create REAL ‘anti-semitism’ and when that blowback happens ALL Jews get it in the neck including the religious Ultra-orthodox ones.
It is no accident that one group of Jews who suffered the most in the Holocaust were the Ultra-orthodox. This is why entire Ultra-orthodox communities in Eastern Europe were wiped-out and why those countries have few Jews in them today.
The atheist/barely religious, pro Zionist ones have an awful lot to answer for and it isn’t just Palestinians who are their victims.

I recall being at the Hotel Grand, Warsaw, in December 1988, in one of the bars. A typical cozy Cold War bar: several floors above ground level, with snow falling outside, and with a tiny group of obviously regular customers, about 4 or 5 of them, and me.
The “Polish” group (not people I had previously met) included a fairly drunken surgeon, and a Jew who looked like the statues of Karl Marx; that one was described to me (by the surgeon) as Poland’s top criminal defence lawyer. I suppose that he was a “holocaust” “survivor”, or maybe someone whose family had taken refuge in the Soviet Union.
Incidentally, such times are like ancient history now. I recall that the drunken surgeon was rather suspicious of why I was even in Warsaw; he could see no reason (I rather agreed…). That dark Cold War miasma of suspicion, a sort-of John le Carre backdrop, just does not exist these days.

Our very depleted armed forces are for waging war against China once the Yanks give us their orders again. Britain should have no real problem with China though we should reserve the right to be critical of how they are failing to uphold their handover responsibilities in Hong Kong.

I agree that with the severely depleted state of our armed forces we would be in a bad position to fight China but when has military unpreparedness stopped our idiot politicians getting this country involved in wars which don’t serve the most vital British national interests?

Any (UK) war with China would be short indeed! In fact, I doubt whether the Royal Navy and RAF could deliver more than a handful of troops to the Far East in the first place. Even compared to the early 1980s, the UK is now almost without military or naval capability.
