Is it surprising, really? After all, the State of Israel was founded on “ethnic cleansing”, massacres of Arab civilians (men, women, and children), and theft of land and housing. Also, while many Israelis and other Jews are in reality not descended from the ancient Israelites of the Bible, the Israelis seem to follow the genocidal tendencies of those ancient tribespeople (as recounted in the Old Testament).

I have a few of Simon Sebag Montefiore’s books; he makes some interesting historical documentaries for TV, too. An old Jew in Little Venice once told me, 30+ years ago, that the Montefiore family was “Jewish royalty“.

About the only things decent about Israel are that they are a real democracy UNLIKE Britain (well, at least as far as Jews are concerned), they have quite a few technologically advanced industries and they give their LGBT population some reasonable rights but apart from that it is a ‘shitty little country’ as one very well-respected French diplomat said at the time of the Iraq War in 2003.
