A remarkably stupid “analysis” from that self-styled “journalist”. Hardly any UK governments over the past half century or more have enjoyed popular-vote majorities, and most MPs likewise are elected on less than 50% of the vote (often below 40%, and occasionally below 30%).

It may be true that, in most if not all constituencies, Reform UK could be beaten were all non-Reform voters to vote tactically for the most likely non-Reform candidate, but only those who prioritize beating Reform above all other issues and motivations would do that.

Indeed, the rise of the NSDAP in Germany was not swift and overwhelming. It took 14 years for the NSDAP to become the unchallenged government (in 1933), and 13 years for it to enter government at all (in 1932). In 1928, the NSDAP had a popular vote of only 2.6% nationwide, but by 1932 that vote had increased to about 33%, and in 1933 reached 44%.

That tweeted report says that, out of 19,000 council seats in England, Reform hold fewer than 2,500. True, but the “reporter” failed to add the fact that only 4,850 of those 19,000 council seats were actually up for election on 7 May 2026, by reason of our antiquated and stupid local electoral system.

Reform gained nearly 1,500 seats on 7 May, about a third of the seats actually up for election.

Were all 19,000 council seats to have been contested last week, it is highly likely that Reform would have done as well across the board, and now have over 6,000 councillors, quite likely many more.

Incidentally, the fake “journalist” there, Jack Dart, was a LibDem councillor at Torbay during 2019-2023, but was found guilty of malpractice. He has never been any sort of recognized journalist, even in local press or online outlets.

Jack Dart dropped out of a law degree course in 2018, and in the second year. He has never had a job except for some online campaigning against Brexit and for such bodies as the pro-migration “charity”, “Care4Calais” (best known for the egregious sexual and fraudulent activities of its founder, Clare Moseley).

However, that is not necessarily good for Starmer and Labour; it really says that the public have already switched off from this terrible government, and have no interest in it beyond getting rid of it and anyone connected with it. I notice that most of the Reform people there seem to have been “of a certain age” (like me, if it comes to that). I think that young people, say 18-35, tend to go either to more radical nationalism, Restore or beyond, or to the “other side” (Greens etc). That may not damage Reform too much in the short to medium term, though, because the country is ageing (if you only consider real white English/British people), and of course the fact is that the elderly are far more likely to actually vote.

The police in England (and even more so in Scotland and Wales) are no longer the guardians of the public, but more like their jailers.

While Restore Britain (Rupert Lowe) is ideologically rather better than Reform UK (Nigel Farage), the fact is that the major System parties need to be destroyed or mortally wounded, or greatly weakened. As I blogged several years ago, when the fact was a surprise to me, Starmer is utterly clueless.

Starmer-stein has as much charisma, and as much political and geopolitical understanding, as a speak-your-weight machine. The difference is that such a machine is more accurate, and more honest. Also, more useful.

There was once a BBC Radio 4 series, What is the Point of…?, which looked at various institutions and traditions, such as Formula One car racing.

Starmer-stein has no point at all, except for the UK Jewish lobby, and even they now tire of him, because he has to keep the non-white voters, the Pakistani and other Muslims especially, onside, because they are now the only voting bloc keeping Labour from being a party with about 10% support at the next GE, which would mean existential collapse in the Labour vote.

Translates to a Commons with about 375 Reform UK MPs (very solid majority), 73 Cons (extremely weak official Opposition), 54 LibDems, 47 Greens, 43 SNP, 32 Lab [etc].

You can see why the Jewish/Israel lobby is now fairly firmly behind Reform UK. Because Reform is probably going to win, as matters now stand. Therefore, via Farage, and especially Tice, the fix is in.

Forget the old “Right/Left” nonsense. Goodwin needs to rethink his support for the Jewish lobby and Israel. He has been “on a journey”; perhaps that journey has not yet reached its final exit…

In fact, to a large extent, Britain is already no longer Britain. Goodwin, of course, was born in 1981, whereas I was born in that very significant year 1956 (Khrushchev’s Secret Speech, Suez, the Hungarian Uprising etc). He is therefore 25 years younger than me. He never knew the 1960s or 1970s, not that they too did not have problems and issues.

I think that the difference is that, in the 1960s, 1970s, Britain had problems, yes, but they were solvable by intelligent thought and action. Also, the UK was overwhelmingly white European, and the now-ubiquitous drug abuse was not nearly so prevalent in the general population.

In the 1960s, 1970s, Britain’s problems might have been solved without dictatorship, without firing squads, without civil/racial/cultural war. Now? Uncertain. Maybe not.

Of course, Goodwin is right about “mainstream” (((mainstream))) publishing.

I took the manuscript of my (today, still-unpublished) 1989/1990 book, The End of the Millennium and the New Age of Alexander, to a rather prestigious Anglo-American literary agency on Fifth Avenue in New York City. 1991 or thereabouts.

I met with a young and very “preppy” American editor (at a guess, a “Yaley”), who was extremely pleasant and polite. He said that he would read the manuscript. A while later, I received a very pleasant letter from him (together with the manuscript), which said, inter alia, something very like “Ian…Thanks for letting me have a crack at it. It is undoubtedly the most remarkable work I have ever read…it will never be published in New York.“

Of course, the reason it could never be published in New York is because (as in the entire Anglosphere), the Jewish element has, either directly or indirectly, a stranglehold over the publishing industry (etc).

Perhaps, now that publishing and technology has moved more online over the past 35 years, I should dig it out and publish it myself, either as paper copy or online.

It is already online, most of it, but not publicly-accessible.

There is no mention of numerous groups and individuals, such as the malicious, perjuring “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”], the snoop and strongarm organization known as the “Community Security Trust” [“CST”], and “UK Lawyers for Israel” [“UKLFI”], among others.

When they worm their way in and really embed themselves, it is a devil of a job to root them out.

I am inclined to agree. Most voters still hate and despise the main System parties, so Reform will probably still do well at a general election, but if Farage can get Reform to the point where it totally underwhelms real English/British voters, then the next GE might result in a hung Parliament. Farage can then still pose as Prime Minister, but will not have to do anything really radical, such as stopping or even pausing all migration, or deporting even the “illegal” migrant invaders.

“They” (((the usual suspects))) are probably behind the plan.

However, “their” plan may backfire, resulting in emergence of real social nationalism on the large scale.

One of the biggest mistakes anyone can make is to assume that those occupying high positions in military and naval affairs, politics, commerce, or society in general, are somehow “great brains”. I have blogged previously, several times, about the Gorton and Denton by-election. From (obviously) a considerable distance, I see it as being very close among Reform/Greens/Labour, but I just cannot see who would vote Labour now, in that seat or elsewhere.

Having said that, the one-third of eligible voters in the by-election who are Pakistani Muslims are hard to fathom. Many cannot even speak English, and their educational level is probably rock-bottom. Who knows what their motivations might be? Labour is said to have an effective electoral machine up there (though journalists say that little has been seen of Labour canvassers etc).

I can see the dilemma of the Muslim voters, perhaps unwilling to vote Labour because it is a Labour Friends of Israel misgovernment, also unwilling (perhaps) to vote Green because Green policies include the decriminalization of both drugs (all drugs) and pornography (all pornography?), yet unwilling to vote for the (supposedly) anti-migration-invasion Reform UK.

The Muslims would probably have voted for George Galloway or his candidate, but he has endorsed the Green Party candidate, thus greatly boosting the Greens’ chances.

I should imagine that most white English/British voters in the seat will be voting Reform; we shall see. To vote any other way would be turkeys voting for Christmas.

My own feeling is that Matt Goodwin, for Reform, could still do this, but it may run very close.

Reform’s weakness has always been its finance-capitalist and also its pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby orientation. Farage welcoming deadheads, freeloaders, and/or non-Brits such as Nadine Dorries, Nadhim Zahawi etc has weakened the Reform “brand”, no question. Matt Goodwin himself has openly criticized that, and Farage has (retaliation?) gone to the Chagos Islands (well, offshore there) instead of slogging it out on the by-election front-lines with Goodwin. Not impressive.

Were Reform more social-national, even it it fell far short of my policy positions, it would be on 50% in the opinion polls, not between 24% and 28%.

That poll shows not only Con and Lab, but also the Greens and LibDems almost on the same level: 18%, 18%, 17%, and 14%. Reform still leading the pack, though not convincingly.

Of course, a victory for Reform in the by-election would certainly give them a national boost.

Incidentally, that latest poll would indicate a Commons with about 291 Reform MPs (some distance short of a majority), Greens 80 (official, albeit very weak, Opposition!), Cons 79, LibDems 74, Labour 53, SNP 45 [etc].

I believe that that uninfluential Twitter/X account is or was run by a Jewish woman who tweeted once or twice, inaccurately, about me, though years ago.

Whatever the truth of that, Amazon is thoroughly under “the usual” baleful influence. I was once a “top 50” reviewer (in the UK) on Amazon UK, voted so by readers, but a concerted campaign of faked complaint by Jews meant that hundreds of my reviews were deleted with neither warning nor any right of appeal. One Jew, a “Daniel Sevitt” (now resident in Ra’anana near Tel Aviv, but of UK-resident origins) organized it, I discovered later (he admitted his crime publicly, online, and in fact appeared proud of his activity). Exactly. I do not know whether Farage is weakening Reform UK deliberately, or simply out of ineptitude. I have blogged before, some long time ago, about how Farage is not really a very clever politician. That of course sounds counter-intuitive after the repeated near-successes— UKIP, Brexit Party and now, writ much larger, Reform UK.

It seems absurd in a way, to think that Farage may be a System catspaw, but his actions are sometimes very strange for someone leading an insurgent political force. Also, when Farage entered the Chamber of the House of Commons for the first time, Starmer himself crossed the floor and welcomed him, with every sign of genuine bonhomie. Simple courtesy? “Democratic” politicians’ comity? Maybe…

The betting market is strongly focussed on the Greens to take Gorton and Denton at the by-election. Maybe so, but I remain convinced that Reform and Goodwin can still do this.

Many 2024 Labour voters (50.8% vote-share) in the constituency will either not vote at all, or will migrate to Reform or the Greens.

Many of the Muslims, who comprise about a third of all Gorton/Denton voters, will migrate to Green; at any rate, the Muslim vote may be split between Green and Labour (in proportions that are and will be unknown, even after Thursday).

How many white English/British voters will go for Reform is also up in the air, as is any quantification of the chance of Reform being able to recruit people eligible to vote but who did not vote in 2024 (turnout was only 46.8%, pathetic for a general election). In 2024, Labour was returned with 50.8% of votes cast, but only about 23%-24% of all eligible votes.

My guess is that few real British/English voters are going to vote Labour in this by-election, and they are about 65% of all eligible voters. The Muslims will either go Labour or Green, probably more the latter.

My conclusion remains what it has been since the beginning: very close, but Reform can do this, if luck is with them.

Incidentally, at this by-election, a third of the voters are the Muslims, and they are all or almost all, Pakistanis. Should non-Europeans even be allowed to vote? Frankly, I think not.

Not necessarily. After all, Reform is still an upstart party, despite having had opinion poll leads for well over a year. I think that, if Labour cannot retain Gorton and Denton, it proves that they are toast. However, if Labour were to hold on by a few points, that would still indicate that they are toast in all but long-traditional, kneejerk Labour tribal areas.

If Reform comes in second to the Greens, especially,then that would be a smallish setback, bearing in mind the Muslim/Islamist factor. If Reform comes in third, then that would be a far bigger setback, though scarcely fatal.

It seems that the Kiev regime of the Jew Zelensky is stepping up its campaign of assassinations and car bombings in Russia. That kind of terrorism (or “oblique warfare tactics”, if you like) is the resort of the weak and/or desperate. On the battlefield, the Kiev-regime forces are losing thousands of men daily via death, injury, capture, and desertion.

Russian forces continue to advance slowly across Eastern Ukraine, as the Kiev-regime defensive lines crumble.
