What lies under our feet?

It is good, occasionally, to elevate oneself above the matters of the day, and to consider wider questions. I was just looking at an article I wrote for the blog a couple of years ago. I think that it is worth reading, not least because it has been one of the least-read blog posts I have written since the blog started in late 2016.

Here is another blog post from 2019, this time examining aspects of the countryside: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/10/07/rewilding-and-reafforestation-of-parts-of-the-uk/.

Yet another from 2019, this time telling of how a chance encounter led to thoughts about some of the structure of society: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/03/30/someone-i-met-recently/.

Free speech

As one would expect, a good article by Peter Hitchens on the death of free speech in the UK: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-10300047/PETER-HITCHENS-Generation-puzzled-idea-right-say-things-dont-agree-with.html.

Professor Luckhurst tried to calm the students who gawped at him as he educated them on free speech at universities
[“Professor Luckhurst tried to calm the students who gawped at him as he educated them on free speech at universities“— Peter Hitchens in the Daily Mail. Quelle surprise…look at them…Chinese etc…he may as well have been talking in a language unknown to them, and the same, sadly, seems to be true of many of the British students]

Some of the Hitchens article:

I am – for the moment – one of the luckier ones. But I do not expect it to last for ever. I can see that, for most people, true free speech has ceased to exist.

Step outside the borders of acceptable thought in a school or a workplace and you can very quickly find yourself being denounced and in serious trouble.

On some issues, such as the transgender controversy, it is virtually impossible to say anything without attracting the attention of the Thought Police.

In workplaces, from fire stations to schools, everything must conform with ‘Equality and Diversity’. This is in fact the law of the land. Where trade unions still exist, they support the new speech codes and will not defend you. So most people wisely do not risk it.

Among millions, the idea that you can defend someone’s right to say something you disagree with is now puzzling. They have no idea why anyone would do that. For them, the debate is over, they have won, and those who oppose them are stupid and wrong.

The whole concept of tolerance has almost died in this generation, as far as I can see.” [Peter Hitchens, in the Daily Mail].

Regular or long-term readers of this blog will be aware that I have written about my own experiences in respect of the all-but disappeared freedom of expression in the UK: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/; and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.

I have also, incidentally, blogged about Hitchens himself: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/05/19/peter-hitchens-and-his-views/.

As Hitchens says, many have no understanding of, let alone any wish to defend, free speech or freedom of expression. The image below shows it quite well:

[not Durham University, though it might as well be…]

I might add that I have never once seen Peter Hitchens speak out to defend my free speech rights, as for example when I was wrongfully and unlawfully disbarred for having tweeted 5 tweets, all of which were true, such as calling Michael Gove an expenses cheat, pro-Jew and pro-Israel (I did not know at the time that Gove —who is still a Cabinet minister!— was, and is still, also a cocaine abuser and a drunk).

No, not one word has Hitchens said to defend my free speech rights. It cannot be said that his failure was or is because I am merely a private citizen living in obscurity; after all, most of the national newspapers featured my disbarment (in 2016). The Daily Mail gave my “case” a whole page. I was also featured on Sky News.

Neither have Hitchens, nor Toby Young, nor the “Free Speech Union” ever supported those known to me who have suffered actual prosecution and imprisonment for exercizing free speech. People such as Alison Chabloz (who sang satirical songs about Zionists and “holocaust” fakery, and posted them online), and Jez Turner (who made a humorous speech in Whitehall, urging the removal of Jews from the UK).

Now we come to the nub of the matter. While the Durham University incident was not linked directly to the Jew-Zionist lobby, most other attacks on free speech in the UK are. In the UK, the Jewish/Zionist lobby is the greatest enemy of free speech.

There is no point complaining about the symptom without expressly identifying and understanding the (((source))) of the problem.

Finally, how ironic that the Daily Mail is “not allowing comments” by its readers on Hitchens’ articles…

[note: my definition of “free speech” or “freedom of expression” would be “unrestricted expression on matters social, political, racial, scientific, artistic, and historical”].

Ghislaine Maxwell

More information about the depravities of the Jew Epstein: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10299879/Epstein-victim-Sarah-Ransome-says-tried-escape-Paedo-island-repeatedly-raped.html

I shall update my general blog post about the Epstein scandal, about the half-Jew Israeli Intelligence asset Ghislaine Maxwell and, of course, about the unpleasant “royal prince”, Andrew Windsor: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/08/11/the-jew-epstein-and-prince-andrew-the-british-royal-family-has-another-scandal-maybe-its-time-to-just-get-rid-of-them/.

She believes Ms Maxwell will be found guilty. ‘Ghislaine enabled Jeffrey to do what he did,’ she says. ‘I believe she is evil. She’s a narcissist who thinks she has done nothing wrong. To her, we were nothing. I hope justice is done…’I pray justice will be done in court,’ she says, ‘but I am a very spiritual person and I believe whatever happens, Ghislaine will burn in hell for all eternity“. [a named Epstein/Maxwell victim, speaking to the Daily Mail].

Epstein has already gone “up the chimney”. How long until “Maxwell” follows?

  1. Hello Ian: What happened at Durham University?

I tried to post this comment yesterday but, for some reason it did not work, so here I go again:

If “Reform UK” is a pathetic, insignificant party, what can we say of the even more ludicrous and almost non-existent “Reclaim” of Laurence Fox? I looked at the statistics of last year’s election for the position of London’s Mayor and he only got 2% of the votes! Awful!

That shows what a despicable lot the majority of White English is, although Fox is “controlled opposition” he was an infinitely better option than the obnoxious and rabidly anti-White Sadiq Kahn and yet he won! Anyway, you and I know that this will not be solved by voting. I remember the words of that giant called “Bismarck”:

“The great questions of the day will not be settled by speeches or majority decisions, but by blood and iron”

Re. Durham University, a scribbler called Rod Liddle (who mostly writes now for The Spectator) was invited to speak, but was all but prevented from doing so by a mob of hostile students (apparently egged on by some of the faculty). The professor who was teaching there and who is friendly with Liddle, called the mob (some of whom walked out) “pathetic”. This was enough to trigger a call for the professor to be sacked.

Sadly, the professor turned out to be spineless, later emailing apologies *to the mob*! All too typical of Britain in 2021. Only when people, individuals, really make a stand will our national/racial redemption through “blood and iron” come. When I was disbarred in 2016, it never occurred to me to “apologize” to the Jews or other riff-raff in the hope of getting off lighter.
Au contraire— I condemned the Jew-Zionists even at the Tribunal itself.

As to Rod Liddle, though I agree with much of what he has written (that I have seen), I do not think that, as a person, he is very nice, if you like. For example, he wrote, while the rescue operation was still ongoing, that he was *bored* by the story about those miners who were rescued in, I think, Chile, several years ago; that was just not acceptable (to me).

      1. Well. I have to say that I read the Wikipedia article about Rod Liddle (thank you for posting it!) and overall I have a very good impression/opinion about the guy. I practically agree with 95% he said/wrote.

BTW, I took a test and according to the results I am “very intolerant” and I have “an authoritarian/despotic disposition” They COULD NOT possibly be talking about me! (LOL) My wife said that the test was “very accurate” Of course it was! (LOL)

I have no quarrel with much of what Liddle writes (what I have seen of it), but some of it has caused me to doubt his personal ethical integrity, though I daresay that many would consider *me* rather a sinner anyway…There’s just something I do not, at root, like about him (though, again, I admit that I myself have never met him).

As to your suggested “intolerance”, I can well imagine it! Occasionally, people say that I am too “liberal”, believe it or not. I usually retort that I see myself as amiable and/or affable…(but give me a thousand tanks and it might be a different story!).

      3. Hello Ian: What a wonderful description of yourself! That would fit me too because I do not tend to argue about politics (a waste of time) and people usually get the idea that I am an easy-going fellow (LOL). Like you said give me 1000 tanks or, even better, three Waffen-SS divisions and you will see… (LOL)

Incidentally, here is a magnificent video about the palace of Versailles, as a bonus the girl that presents the video is very pretty. Although there are no English subtitles if you can read French just tick “French subtitles” and that will do. I did that because I do not understand the Frenchies when talking.

Very nice. Thank you. I have posted it on the blog, and will watch it properly later.

I know far less French than I should do, bearing in mind not only my largely misspent schooldays but also my years living in Brittany, but will struggle through.

I have been (once) to the palace at Versailles, though not inside. In 1990, I think. An incredible first impression. “Impressive” hardly covers it.

Thank you. I think that I had seen that before somewhere; rang a bell, anyway.

These infiltrative agencies, Special Branch, MI5 etc, are fairly good at such activity, but of course miss the main point.

While they have been busy for 50 years infiltrating NF, BNP, League of St. George, and other similar organizations, as well as Irish Republican “armies”, and while also tracking suspected Soviet, SovBloc (and now Russian) spies, all in aid of “defending the Realm”, the f****** “Realm” itself has been all but destroyed by mass immigration, subversion in the mass media (often by Jews) and sleaze generally. MI5 (etc) have ended up at least half-successfully defending the walls of a fortress which is but an empty shell.
