What’s “their” excuse this time?
“The Wall Street Journal, citing an informed source: The US intelligence community doubts Israel’s ability to destroy Hamas. Israeli attacks may damage Hamas and its structure, but cannot destroy its ideology and thinking.
A congressional official said: “The most realistic goal is to buy Israel’s security for a few years, but not forever”.
The material advantages that the Israeli Jews have (compared to those of the population in Gaza) are always very evident. For example, advanced medical services.
“A Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter asks Russia to stop the fighting so that their military could go to Kiev to overthrow the government. The military man (on the photo) says that deputies in the Verkhovna Rada, when Russia wins, will board their helicopters and fly abroad with the stolen millions with impunity.
Therefore, he calls on the Ukrainian and Russian military to stop the fighting so that they, the Ukrainian military, can overthrow the Verkhovna Rada, which contains only thieves and pidarases (fucking fagots-gays). He calls for the property of thieving deputies to be taken away, sold off and the money returned to the budget of Ukraine.
As for these scoundrels from Verkhovna Rada, he wants to put them not even in jail but in a common hole. The military man says: “They will ban me again, they will come after me to talk to me again, but I have a gun. Come! What am I doing wrong? I am telling the truth!”
He says that Ukraine itself does not produce anything for military needs, there is not a single bullets factory, and they are sent for slaughter, into a meat grinder. At the same time, funding for the military is zero, payments to military wounded are zero, he himself waited for 6 months after being wounded for an investigation to prove that he was wounded by a mine in battle, and did not just go out into the field for a walk.
“Fuck, we are holding on just only thanks to support of the volunteers!” he says. His interlocutor says, “The most interesting thing is that you are holding on, but I don’t understand for what? Where Russia comes, pensions are higher, gasoline is cheaper, everything is being built, and men can easily travel abroad. But in Ukraine there is nothing, and they don’t let men out.”

Is that true? There are certainly quite a few people around who pose as former members of various regiments, usually the perceivedly more glamorous ones, particularly SAS. I seem to recall that a couple of Daily Telegraph journalists (genuine ex-soldiers) did a report about 25+ years ago on such people. Some had marched at the 11 November march of that year, complete with bought medals and all.

There is a more subtle kind of pseudo-military pretence, in which people who have served pretend to have been something more prestigious, as where soldiers attached or formerly-attached to the SAS in a support capacity let others think that their service was more “sharp end” than it was.
It’s silly, really. After all, a regiment, or an army, is a collective endeavour in which all parts play a role. As Napoleon said, “an army marches on its stomach“, and something as basic as catering is hugely important in keeping up morale.
Come to that, an army could not exist without civilian support. Not for long, anyway.

Far be for me as a lowly goy to criticise a member of the Master Race but isn’t that the exact same mentality a certain Austrian painter had with the funny moustache in regard to his ethnic-religious group? Although I suspect as a Zionist he doesn’t even bother to follow Judaism as so many of them are secular or only barely religious.
The oppressed have become the oppressor! Zionists do have a nice line in hypocrisy I will give them that at least.

Apparently, Der Fuhrer’s original aim was to expel them or encourage them to emigrate.
He envisaged the then French colony of Madagascar as a suitable place for a Jewish homeland to be founded.
In some ways, Madagascar, a large part of Argentina or that Jewish oblast they have in Russia are better places for the Zionist dream to become a reality.
The brutal fact is that Palestine is too small a place for even two thirds of the world’s Jews to live in let alone all of them.
Palestine/The Zionist Entity is, even if you include the occupied territories of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, only around the size of Wales.
As a project for a Jewsh homeland, the Zionist entity is a complete failure. How can it be otherwise when only 46% of the world’s Jews live there and it is infact the most dangerous place in the world for a Jew to live.
I can’t see how it can be called a ‘Jewish state’ when not even half of the world Jewish population lives there let alone a decent preponderance of them such as 60% plus.

No wonder Ken Livingstone got into trouble for saying that Zionist groups in the 1930’s helped to finance Jewish emigration from Nazi Germany and collaborated with Nazi officials to achieve large scale Jewish emigration to the British mandate of Palestine and to found a settler colonialist national homeland for the Jews.

Wellsaid, Dominic Grieve. Yes, Suella is dangerously authoritarian in certain ways and needs to understand that the police shouldn’t be politicised and they need to retain operational independence.
Whilst I wouldn’t agree with Dominic Grieve on many policies, he is one of the more intelligent and capable Tories around or was until Boris-Idiot threw him out of the parliamentary party and then filled his cabinet with many incompetents.
No wonder the Tory ‘brand’ is now very damaged.

It really isn’t hard to see why we British invented the first building blocks of Apartheid in the originally British-ruled South Africa and then the Afrikaaners simply took those foundations and developed them further, is it?
Under British rule and then that of the Afrikaaners South Africa was the ‘powerhouse’ of Africa with motorways, a strong economy, the Continent’s most capable and largest military, effective police etc.
Yes, the more petty aspects of Apartheid the Afrikaaners put into place such as separate park benches for whites and blacks were very stupid and wrong but Apartheid SA couldn’t have been too bad for the blacks because under white rule SA had a bad illegal immigration problem from the black ruled countries to its North.

Good morning Ian! I have just remembered two local cases.
A couple of years after the 1982 war I met a scruffy loony who claimed to have been an infantryman in Malvinas (Falklands) He said he amputated his mate’s left or right forearm using his bayonet! (😲😲??) A) Military units have doctors who do that. B) To amputate you need a proper scalpel and a saw
The other case was not as crazy as the previous one. In 1983 I was working at a large shop that developed films and sold photographic equipment. One day, a very well-dressed young man in his late twenties walked in and as we were talking about the war he casually mentioned he fought in it as a fighter pilot. He claimed to have flown a Mirage and attacked the British fleet, everything sounded feasible, but he blew it when he started talking about “atrocities” committed by the Gurkhas (who never saw action) who, supposedly, played football with the heads of Argentinian soldiers! (😲😲)

I do not recall hearing about them there but I would not have, anyway. During much of the campaign, I was outside the UK, mostly in Germany. In any case, the delay in relaying news (part of the UK MOD news management system) meant that the reports of what was happening were confused and confusing. One reporter even became famous for nothing by reason of having said that “I counted them [jet fighters] all out, and I counted them all back again”. In a news desert, I suppose that counts as somehow clever. I found it tiresome, and still do.
