A remarkably stupid “analysis” from that self-styled “journalist”. Hardly any UK governments over the past half century or more have enjoyed popular-vote majorities, and most MPs likewise are elected on less than 50% of the vote (often below 40%, and occasionally below 30%).

It may be true that, in most if not all constituencies, Reform UK could be beaten were all non-Reform voters to vote tactically for the most likely non-Reform candidate, but only those who prioritize beating Reform above all other issues and motivations would do that.

Indeed, the rise of the NSDAP in Germany was not swift and overwhelming. It took 14 years for the NSDAP to become the unchallenged government (in 1933), and 13 years for it to enter government at all (in 1932). In 1928, the NSDAP had a popular vote of only 2.6% nationwide, but by 1932 that vote had increased to about 33%, and in 1933 reached 44%.

That tweeted report says that, out of 19,000 council seats in England, Reform hold fewer than 2,500. True, but the “reporter” failed to add the fact that only 4,850 of those 19,000 council seats were actually up for election on 7 May 2026, by reason of our antiquated and stupid local electoral system.

Reform gained nearly 1,500 seats on 7 May, about a third of the seats actually up for election.

Were all 19,000 council seats to have been contested last week, it is highly likely that Reform would have done as well across the board, and now have over 6,000 councillors, quite likely many more.

Incidentally, the fake “journalist” there, Jack Dart, was a LibDem councillor at Torbay during 2019-2023, but was found guilty of malpractice. He has never been any sort of recognized journalist, even in local press or online outlets.

Jack Dart dropped out of a law degree course in 2018, and in the second year. He has never had a job except for some online campaigning against Brexit and for such bodies as the pro-migration “charity”, “Care4Calais” (best known for the egregious sexual and fraudulent activities of its founder, Clare Moseley).

Jack Dart also runs, or ran, a pro-Starmer website and online campaign called Hold the Line. That went well…

I can hardly wait for Thursday and the 7 May local elections.

The Greens have a few good ideas (i.e. ideas with which I might agree), but are mainly loonie now. At present they are between 12% and 20% in the opinion polls. It is an open question as to whether they can get to 32% (Labour’s polling at GE 2019) or 40% (Labour’s polling at GE 2017), but I should imagine not, in both cases. In fact, I should be surprised were they even to score 25% at any general election up to 2029.

As it stands presently, the Greens are looking at somewhere around 50-60 Commons seats, potentially, so not enough to be anywhere near forming a government but possibly (on a good or bad day) enough to be a very weak official Opposition.

I suppose that, a few years down the line, the LGBTQXYZ etc faction might be sidelined, and then the Greens might become a coalition of Muslims, hardcore socialists, urban pseudo-socialists, hardcore environmentalist/social justice types, and a few others, defined mainly by opposition to anything white national, English, British in any real sense, or traditional.

That “neo-Green” party might, bearing in mind the black/browning of the UK, be able to get into government, post-2029, but the UK would be on the brink of civil/social/racial/cultural war by then, and votes might not be the trump card they now are…

Reform has no real plan even to end most, i.e. “legal”, immigration, and plans to deport only those who arrive on the beaches or otherwise “illegally”. That does not cut it at all.

As for putting detention centres in Green-leaning areas, a very silly idea.

Also, with the numbers coming in now, even on the “small boats”, there would need to be places available for hundreds of thousands, i.e. 2x, 3x, 4x or more the number of prisoners in UK prisons.

Having said that, Dan Hodges and the System parties think that the way to deal with the migration invasion is to deny it is happening, deny its consequences, and cover everything up. Is that really better?

Well, I myself dropped out of school at 16 (admittedly, a fee-paying one, and my home was certainly not as hers has been described) and drifted about a bit for quite a few years before self-study led to “A” Levels, then university and a law degree, followed by the Bar, so that TV story is scarcely unique. Still, I suppose she has done well in all the circumstances, though her spoken English is slightly painful.

Anyway (not thinking specifically of that young woman), the Bar is a dustbin now, if truth be known.

“The Jews” (not all Jews, obviously) are far from having been the only exploitative “community” or group in history, whether we look at lending money at interest (and whether those interest payments were “excessive” or not) or at other forms of exploitation. However, that is not necessarily good for Starmer and Labour; it really says that the public have already switched off from this terrible government, and have no interest in it beyond getting rid of it and anyone connected with it. The local elections on 7 May will be interesting.

Historical and personal note

I happened to see some material about a German officer (German-Swiss by official nationality), Hugo von Senger (1920-2010). I never met him, but a German lady, an old friend of mine, now deceased, was very friendly with him and his family.

I was introduced briefly, in London, and in the late 1980s, to one of von Senger’s daughters (at the time, an attractive, polite, and pleasant girl of about 17-18) and, a few years before, one of his sons, a boy of about 16 or 17. Both their Christian names escape me at the moment. I know that the boy, several years later, married a daughter of one of the directors of the Siemens electronic company and that they relocated to southern Chile, where they bought a large property and bred horses.

That German-Swiss family originally had a kind of castle in the Germanophone part of Switzerland, which however is now a kind of Swiss equivalent of a “stately home” run by either the Swiss state, the canton (regional government) or some equivalent of the (UK) National Trust. I saw a souvenir tea-towel from its on-site shop. The family themselves lived in another castle. They owned a business fitting interior walls with (if I remember correctly) embossed leather. Sounds odd, maybe, but I think that is what they did. I saw some glossy publicity material at the time.

I recall my London friend flew with Tolstoy to Zurich for the meeting. Von Senger had been a cavalry officer and, during WW2, was based in the Ukraine, I think at or near Kiev, commanding Cossacks fighting on the German side and against Soviet forces. The Cossacks are or were taught to ride from early childhood, and would not respect officers unable to ride at least as well as them, thus their German officers had to be cavalrymen with a high level of horsemanship.

In 1945, von Senger and his Cossacks were in Austria. After the German surrender, the British sent the Cossacks down a railway line to where Soviet NKVD forces awaited. The Cossacks were then shot. Von Senger and his fellow-German officers wanted to go with them, but the British refused, citing the Geneva Convention (Germany and Britain were both signatories, but the Soviet Union was not) and the Yalta agreement between Churchill, Stalin, and Roosevelt.

Apart from Stalin’s Secret War and many other (unconnected) books, Nikolai Tolstoy wrote two books based partly on those events, and connected and similar events: Victims of Yalta (1977, so first published long before, I think, he met von Senger) and The Minister and the Massacres (1986). The latter led to one of the most famous modern libel cases.

Disagree. Yes, Reform is underwhelming, and the Greens are indeed loonie, but the existing System parties deserve to be smashed and destroyed. Until they are, nothing better can emerge.

Local elections in the UK are yet another System stitch-up, deliberately staggered in different years so that each System party is likely to get a piece of the pie, continuously.

I notice that most of the Reform people there seem to have been “of a certain age” (like me, if it comes to that). I think that young people, say 18-35, tend to go either to more radical nationalism, Restore or beyond, or to the “other side” (Greens etc). That may not damage Reform too much in the short to medium term, though, because the country is ageing (if you only consider real white English/British people), and of course the fact is that the elderly are far more likely to actually vote.

The police in England (and even more so in Scotland and Wales) are no longer the guardians of the public, but more like their jailers.

People across the world are just utterly disgusted by them and fed up with their atrocious behaviour.

The local elections are to be held in only 17 days’ time. If Starmer-stein steps down as Labour leader now, or maybe even more if he also steps down as Prime Minister, Labour will be toast. I cannot see a general election being called before 2029, mainly because Labour has 403 MPs at present, but after a general election might well have fewer than 100 and quite possibly fewer than 50. As for the Conservative Party, its 116 MPs would also decline in number, quite likely below 50. Neither main System party has an incentive to support an early general election, and that applies especially to Labour.

I am inclined to think that Labour MPs might prefer for Starmer to absorb the flak of the plainly-upcoming 7 May debacle; the question is, will Starmer just bale out beforehand? His instinct, as a careerist, will be to hang on to his job, but I wonder whether he might not do that for once, looking at the polls and his lack of support in his own ranks.

Farage becomes ever-less someone that I would like to see as Prime Minister of this country, but but but I need Reform UK to destroy the present main System parties at the next general election. Problem.

My wish to see Con and Lab destroyed is, so far, greater than my distaste at “controlled opposition” pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby Farage (not to mention Tice) at the head of government.

In a sense, a political-nerd/Westminster Bubble story and scandal. I cannot believe that, in public bars and golf clubs, people talk of little else, but it does tend to support the now-embedded narrative that Starmer-stein is either dishonest or incompetent, or both, which I myself have believed for several years.

As frequently blogged previously, as far as the Pakistani/Muslim rape gangs are concerned, Starmer and Labour cannot afford to “offend” the voting bloc consisting of Muslims, especially, because they are now at least 6% or 8%, and moving towards 10%, of the population. By the time of the next general election (probably 2029 if elections are not “suspended” by reason of a contrived war against Russia), that ~10% bloc will be about half, maybe even two-thirds, of the Labour vote; Muslims are already at least a third of Labour voters nationwide. At present, Labour is polling at around 20%; without the Muslim voters, that would sink to 15% or lower, certainly by 2029.

At the same time, Starmer-stein himself is of course heavily pro-Jew, pro-Israel, is married to a Jewish woman, and has children being brought up as if full-Jew. He belongs to Labour Friends of Israel, and much of Starmer’s —and Labour’s— recent funding has come via Jewish links.

Starmer and his government are, therefore, being pulled in opposing directions, and are in any case incompetent and rudderless.

Well, that translates to a Commons with about 293 Reform UK MPs (about 33 short of an overall majority), 84 Cons (very weak official Opposition), 78 Greens, 69 LibDems, 53 Lab, and 45 SNP [etc].

Once again, on those figures, Starmer would lose his own seat, a potential fact indicated by all recent (for several months) opinion polling.

One joker in the GE 2029 pack might be Restore Britain. If it stood enough candidates, it would split the “conservative-nationalist” vote, hitting Reform worst; maybe the Cons a little as well.

Restore at present does not look like it can supplant underwhelming Reform, so they might end up competing for more or less the same bloc of votes. I have little time for Reform, but it really is, at present, the only game in town if you want to wipe out Lab and Con (leaving aside the loonie new Greens, with their pro-drug and pro-mass immigration policies).

The above result, a hung Parliament, might be the best result for social nationalism: the System parties gravely and perhaps mortally wounded, and Reform unable to govern effectively without Con MP-votes. That might in turn lead to a demand for real social nationalism. As Lenin may have said, “the worse, the better“.

That opinion poll again underlines the main or central fact: people are voting against the System parties, not for either the Greens or Reform.

The UK— a country sliding to disorder and some sort of civil/social war.

If so, and as I expect, the central fact, or “big story” will be the collapse of both main System parties.

The local elections, many of which Labour tried to “postpone”, are about more than just local council seat numbers. Council seats are often training grounds for future MPs and, though mostly unpaid, do provide “expenses” of various kinds, and there is actual remuneration for those in charge of local “cabinet” briefs at the various councils. At large councils, that can add up to quite a good quasi-salary.

If Lab and Con are massively culled on 7 May 2026, that cripples their local organizations, and that has knock-on effects at the later general election (currently expected to be in 2029).

In fact, I think that only three local election leaflets have been put though my own door (New Forest area) so far: Reform UK, LibDems, and an Independent lady (the most impressive-looking candidate, arguably).

The main System parties have not put their tawdry wares on display here, so far.

…and if that proves to be “impossible”, then we have other and permanently-effective solutions.

Certainly, women often tend to vote based on emotional responses, or superficialities. Difficult question.

Whether Starmer-stein goes or stays, there will not be any general election called, because both Labour and Conservative MPs know that, should they vote, or vote in effect, for that, they will be turkeys voting for Christmas. Current polling suggests that, out of 513 Con and Lab MPs currently in place, only about 130-150 would survive a general election; only a third, maybe only a quarter of the present Lab/Con MPs would survive.

Of course, alcohol abuse has always been a problem in Russia, for many many centuries, but (arguably) became far worse under Soviet rule, despite periodic attempts to deal with the problem. I think that, had Andropov survived, and been in good health, he might have managed to cut alcoholism and alcohol misuse tremendously.
