Pine martens
“Pine martens return to Dartmoor after 150-year absence.
“Fifteen of the nimble, tree-climbing mammals were released last month at secret locations in Devon.
Fifteen pine martens are darting through the woods of Dartmoor for the first time in 150 years after the rare but recovering species was reintroduced into south-west England.
The nimble, tree-climbing mustelids were released last month at secret locations in the steep, tree-lined valleys of Devon in what conservationists are hailing as a historic step in the restoration of the region’s woodlands.
“We haven’t had pine martens here for 150 years, and to see them moving out into this landscape to explore it and find their way is really exciting,” said Ed Parr Ferris, conservation manager at Devon Wildlife Trust, which is leading a partnership of seven conservation organisations returning the marten to south-west England.
The eight adult females and seven males were caught from resurgent populations in Scotland, meticulously checked for health, and driven to 10 woodland pens, where they were released under the cover of darkness well away from people and busy roads. The threat of road traffic is a big risk for the mostly nocturnal animals.
Fitted with GPS or radio tags depending on their size (lighter radio tags were used on the smaller individuals), the animals were fed in the pens for three days to acclimatise, before the doors were opened and the martens slipped away into the night.
Pine martens were driven to extinction in England at the turn of the 20th century by the loss of forests and persecution, with gamekeepers in particular targeting the animals for preying upon pheasants and poultry.“

Because Starmer is a complete puppet of the Israel lobby, aka Jewish lobby.
Such people are wedded to the idea that the job of the Civil Service is “the management of decline“, in the 1960s phrase.
Fairly typical…
…as I have repeatedly blogged.
Iranian attack on Israel
Puzzling to an observer. It seems that the attack was mostly if not entirely on military targets. The Israelis are keeping the scale of the damage secret. I had thought that there would be a large number of civilian casualties (as when the Israelis attack Lebanon, Gaza, Syria etc) but it seems that hardly any Israelis have been killed or even injured.
I have seen no indication of whether the Dimona nuclear weapons plant was hit.
Likewise, it seems odd that the main international airport suffered no, or no substantial, damage. I should have thought that that would have been a priority target.
Looking on from outside, it is hard to fully understand both the overall situation and the details, such as how many rockets (and of what type) Iranian forces have; likewise on the Israeli side.
All one can do is to keep looking out for news.

Well, appoint members of the House of Lords from the bazaars of South Asia, from the slums of Jamaica and West Africa, and from the tribe of “the usual suspects”, and naturally the whole institution crumbles. Who would have guessed?…
A half-African, with a “degree” in Hospitality Management from Ealing College, as Leader of the Conservative Party and, potentially, as Prime Minister? What could possibly go wrong? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Cleverly.
Having said that, the other three candidates are also bad jokes: a Nigerian woman married to a banker of uncertain provenance; a part-Jew former “chocolate soldier”; a dishonest and corrupt moneygrubber married to a Jewish woman lawyer. All three vocally pro-Israel.
At least Cleverly is rather less vocal in his support for Israel and the Jewish lobby.
I suppose that most scribblers and msm talking heads are expecting the Conservative Party to revive as Starmer’s hopeless government continues to falter (after only 3 months), but that may not happen.
For me, the most telling aspect of GE 2024 is that, in broad terms, out of every 20 eligible voters, 8 decided not to vote at all. Beyond that, out of the 12 that did vote, only 4 voted “Labour”, only 3 voted “Conservative”, and then 2 voted Reform UK, 2 voted LibDem, and 1 (just about) voted Green.
At present, the underwhelming Reform UK is the only game in town in terms of becoming an unofficial populist Opposition. The LibDems are just beneficiaries of a ridiculously illogical voting system. The “don’t know how to vote so vote LibDem” party.
None of the 4 contenders for Conservative Party leadership are really of any importance; none —say I— will ever be Prime Minister.

In other words, it became clear even to cloth-eared Sadiq Khan that that crazed American lesbian (on £132,000 for a 3-day week) was a total waste of space and, more importantly, was being seen as such by the whole of London (and beyond). In other words, Amy Lame has been sacked, but diplomatically.

Well, what struck me, looking at tweets mainly, was how few people attended, even compared to other recent years. Hopeless rabble.

I think that not only Jews are puzzled. Looks as though the Iranian forces prioritized military targets. It is uncertain, though, what proportion of missiles hit their targets.
Without more detail, such information is almost useless.

No surprise that Lord Alli is under investigation. Some of the most egregious pro Israel jews have been vociferously condemning him on twitter, since they found out he had a meeting with Bashar al Assad.
Anyone perceived to be less than pro Israel has to be destroyed.

The ‘Tory’ leadership contest is, as expected, an utter farce and total irrelevance. Most people couldn’t give a Castlemaine XXXX who the geriatric morons elect.
Even now, after suffering the worst defeat in history with the lowest national share of the vote since the Great Reform Act of 1832 and the lowest number of MPs ever (even lower than in 1906’s landslide defeat to the Liberals) they don’t have a real clue as to how they got to this point. Their defeat in July was DECADES in the making and not just because that airhead, Liz Truss, became leader or they gave us our first official clown as PM, Boris Johnson.
All four of the remaining candidates are hopeless and aren’t what is needed. The Conservative Party either turns itself into a fully fledged national-conservative/nationalist party like Germany’s Afd and get young people voting for it or it will die. It really is about time they realised that libertarian globalist values can only be espoused by small parties like Germany’s FDP in a country with a FAIR/DEMOCRATIC voting system of Proportional Representation and not by a supposed major party in a country with a completely rigged and undemocratic voting system like ours.
Simply put, under FPTP, and as it is no longer polling at 30% plus support the party can’t successfully cover the big political ground between national-conservative values and more globalist liberal-conservative ones. This poltical space is too big to straddle.

Even the skills of the public relations people could not disguise the very low attendance at the Conservative Party Conference. As for those who did attend, mostly grey-haired older people, with a few callow youths and what might be termed “airhead bimbettes” taking “selfies”.

They are not real conferences nowadays. Even as recently as the 1990’s both Tories and Labour had debates on the conference floor but now ‘conference’ is just a shallow PR exercise. No wonder the intellectual calibre of MPs is at rock bottom levels.

If David Cameron had a political brain, he would have introduced Proportional Representation on the German/New Zealand model and then the globalist liberals in the party could have told the remaining vaguely national-conservative ones to shove off and form their own party. Then the globalist mob could form viable coalitions with the Liberal Democrats.
Instead, he didn’t and now the Conservative Party has the task of getting national-conservative minded voters to return to voting Tory instead of Reform UK or abstaining whilst also getting more Lib Dem/Labour inclined voters back on board from an electoral position of profound weakness.
Even with a charismatic and very capable leader that would be very hard, if not impossible, to do but with any of those four it will surely prove to be beyond them.
In what sort of world is James Cleverly (Thickerly) regarded as a potential credible leader of the Conservative Party or potential PM?
The only two remaining candidates with even the slightest credibility are Robert Jenrick and Tom Tugendhat but, as I said, they aren’t the leader the party needs to have.

So Cleverly (Thickerly) really thinks we should go to war with China over Taiwan? Granted, that potential conflict is more important to our security and economy than the Ukraine-Russia one since Taiwan is the world leader in semi conducter production so their supply has massive implications for the world economy and supply lines here but we can get the Americans to deal with it should that unlikely event happen.
At anyrate, someone needs to tell Cleverly (Thickerly) our military thanks to Tory cuts is rather small nowadays and is ‘led’ by PC globalist morons like the police are so it would be no match for China.

What is so absurd is that the UK simply *could not* “go to war with China”, and that has been the case since the 1940s, at which time the Royal Navy still had the famous former “China Station” (merged 1941), based on Hong Kong and Eastern Station:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commander-in-Chief,_China_(Royal_Navy).
Now, the UK has only about 2 dozen large ships. China about 500…
The UK has very limited air “lift” capability too.
Finally, the UK has now only a very small number of actual men (and women, who are now about 10-%-15% of the whole) in uniform.

If only corrupt, unelected Starmer would just kindly eff off and expire instead of spouting his grotesque nonsense about standing with the Zionist entity.
Most normal people in Britain and around the world do NOT want their countries to be associated with a violent, terroristic, continual international law breaking state that oppresses Palestinians ect.
I see that in recent polls Israel’s disapproval ratings in Britain are now at nearly 70% – an all-time record.
At anyrate, what sort of normal, patriotic politician (not that Starmer is one of them) would want to ally with a country that was formed out of the most vicious kind of anti-British terrorism which included some of our troops being hanged in olive groves, where its MPs call us ‘anti-semitic dogs’, which had a PM, Begin, that sold Exorcet missiles to Argentina during the Falklands’ War?
Also, one which FORGED British passports even when we had a Jewish Foreign Secretary, David Milliband, at the time?
The Zionist terror state is no friend of ours nor of anyone else including the USA. It should be treated as the law breaking, pariah state it undoubtedly is. Even Apartheid SA didn’t flout international law and invade its surrounding countries as the Zionist terror state does yet it was banned from the Olympics etc.
I wonder why the two states have had other countries treat them differently? Answers on a postcard to Labour Friends of Israel and ‘Tory’ Friends of Israel!

Corrupt Jenrick is not a pleasant person. Not only is he a bizarre fanatical defender of the continual international law defying state of Israel he is a supporter of abortion so wants to see innocent babies terminated in the womb. He voted to impose abortion on NI disregarding the fact that NI supposedly has devolution on this matter and voted in favour of yet more restrictions on freedom of speech/peaceful assembly by agreeing with the creation of ‘buffer zones’ near abortion clinics in Patel’s updated tyrannical Public Order Act. With a record of opposing genuine democratic values and supporting effectively murdering innocent babies in the womb like that it should come as no surprise he is a zealous advocate for the expansionist and international law defying
Zionist entity.
Abortion should be allowed only in very restricted circumstances such as if it is needed to preserve the life of the mother.
WHEN, oh WHEN, is the Conservative Party going to follow the path of social/national-conservative values and dump libertarian globalist ones overboard?

Another proof of the criminal ignorance of the British scribblers was the article about that horrible female called Amy Lamé. The person who wrote it called her “night czar” ignoring that A) Czar or Tsar is Russian for Caesar = Emperor B) If that title is applied to a woman is “Czarina” or “Tsarina”. Is obvious that these idiots do not bother to check the meaning or spelling of some words they use. The same thing happens in my country where a lot of illiterate numbskulls work in newspapers, radio or TV stations where they show their ignorance on a daily basis.
