I wonder how many Labour-leaning voters will really vote Con in an attempt to sabotage Farage? Perhaps some will vote Reform in order to make sure the Con candidate is not re-elected. Open question.
If the “vote Con to stop Reform” idea were seen to be building, it might be that many Labour-leaning voters would actually prefer to vote for Farage to make sure that the Con candidate is not re-elected.
For me, as previously blogged, and while I have no time for “libertarianism” or pro-Israelism, I hope that Reform UK does well for two reasons: 1. to crush the Conservative Party; 2. to move the “Overton Window” in society and the body politic.
I blogged about that useless African freeloader yesterday. The fact is that Labour, especially with such a candidate, has no chance at all at Clacton. Any Clacton voters who seriously want rid of the Conservative Party and its Clacton candidate have to either vote Reform UK or stay home.

The problem with “Faragism”, as with Poujadism, the Tea Party, the Yellow Vests, indeed “Trumpism”, is that, without a real ideology, nothing concrete or lasting can be achieved. Compare that to Marxism-Leninism or, even more so, arguably, National Socialism, which latter transcended its temporary 1920s and 1930s roots as “Hitlerism”, and still evolves.
Ideally, this would be when social nationalism could rise up.
It has not yet done so, partly because (over the past 20 years) “controlled opposition” parties (UKIP, Brexit Party, Reform UK), and peripheral scribblers have blunted the swords, but also partly because the British people, though suffering, are not, most of them, suffering enough to really be compelled to stand their ground and then advance to the future as a force to be reckoned with.

Part of that is because most young people, indeed most UK people under the age of 40, have been exposed at school and via TV etc to multikulti propaganda, as well as “holocaust” and similar propaganda masquerading as history.
What will *really* shift the Overton Window is when British society starts to collapse —more obviously than at present— under the weight of a million migrant-invaders per year, and when British people can simply not find homes, or money to buy food etc. *THEN* our time will come, and it may not be far into the future. Goodwin makes another point: that such people are almost or actually displaying a status symbol by being pseudo-liberal. He does not usually name anyone, but you see plenty of them on Twitter/X; tweeters such as “@ZoeJardiniere” (Zoe Gardner).
There are legions of such persons, living in places like Wallingford or Blackheath or Chelmsford; usually pro-EU, pro-“Ukraine” (Kiev regime) etc. They are also the ones who think that the people of Clacton should have an unemployed 25-y-o African freeloader imposed upon them as a “Labour” MP (“Jovan” something-or-other). They tend to also think, for example, that the Nigerian grifter “Femi” has something to say. Silly, useless people, who are a kind of cancer in the UK body politic. They see nothing wrong with a million invaders coming into the UK each year, and also decry the terrible housing crisis, which they think totally unconnected with the migration-invasion.

Well, first of all Starmer has ruled it out so if any EU rejoiner is silly enough to vote Labour they are wasting their time as under Labour it simply won’t happen. Even if Starmer did support this idea an application to rejoin needs to be made and there is a real doubt such an application would be accepted since we had a record of being the EU’s troublemakers, and also they require new members to be functioning democracies and our continued use of the archaic, unrepresentative and downright undemocratic stand alone, ‘pure’ First Past The Post electoral system could well be a sign, in the EU’s eyes, that we can’t be considered to be a functioning democracy. Entry to the Euro might be an essential precondition as well to renewed membership.

I see that little Rishi has said he isn’t in principle opposed to assisted dying. Well, what do you know, Rishi is opposed to the death penalty for murderers even those who murder particularly vulnerable victims such as children yet endorses the slippery slope of assisted dying.

He shouldn’t be in theory because it will be mostly old people who will be ‘assisted’ by their relatives into going to some sort of normal, pleasant looking clinic and killing themselves in order to relieve the ‘burden’ they cause to relatives in financial terms and help their relatives gain inheritance money etc.
And which age group still votes Tory in the main? Yes, people over the age of 65 and particularly those in their 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, centenarians.
Still, I have come to the conclusion, the diminutive despot is a Lib Dem or Labour infiltrator or he may as well be because with 99% of his actions, policy proposals or just what he says he either loses his party many votes or makes sure others don’t possibly consider the Tories as any option for support.
This idea of assisted suicide is just plain, immoral SICKNESS and something wide open to abuse.

Now I come to think about it more deeply I know why he is in favour of the idea. It must be a way of getting rid of those useless and EXPENSIVE benefit claimants particularly the disabled ones he is always ranting about but then I thought evil Iain Dunce Duncan-Smith had already successfully euthanized many of these people with his so-called ‘reforms’ to the benefits system.
