Saturday quiz

Well, I did much better than political journalist John Rentoul this week— 7/10 as against his claimed “4 and a half out of 10” (not sure how he managed to give himself a half-point for no.7; still, there it is). I did not know the answers to questions 6 and 9; I might have got no. 3 had I thought about it (but did not, because I jumped at Francesca di Rimini which was composed a couple of years earlier).

Unpleasant Jew “restaurant critic” (what a silly job) talks about “our” (i.e. British) “Battle of Britain bravery“. He, of course, has never served in any armed force; neither have any of his family (not in this country, anyway; I suppose that it is possible that he has relatives serving in the Israeli forces).
I was unable to read the full article, by reason of the paywall; why would anyone pay to read that sort of ignorant rubbish?
Rentoul, as usual, supporting pseudo-“moderate”/”centrist” Labour-label. Making out that the spending cuts are not really cuts at all. Tell that to people who will now be deprived of much or all of their income because of this Labour Friends of Israel misgovernment (Liz Kendall, Rachel Reeves and, of course, Starmer-stein himself).
Others may get more, yes, and more will be spent on keeping alive, sheltered, and fed, useless and hostile migrant-invaders by the million. British people needing help will, in many cases, not get that help, or much of it.

I noticed that one of my least-read blog posts, from about 3 years ago, had a couple of hits.

More about dishonest and professionally negligent “Mark Lewis Lawyer”
Lewis should have been struck off the solicitors’ roll years ago.

A greedy, ugly woman and System drone: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Maclean,_Baroness_Maclean_of_Redditch.
There it is. Disgraced sex-pest Jew ex-MP praises a woman, Jewish again, who wants Russia and Russia people beaten and humiliated. One would imagine that Newmark would shut up and keep his head down, but that is not “their” way…

8 months? Make that 15-17 YEARS!
Incidentally, quite a few years ago, that tweeter was some kind of office manager for her then husband, a “Conservative” MP, her no-doubt generous salary paid for out of his MP expenses. Well, they are now no longer married, and he is no longer an MP. She appears to have set up some “organization” (possibly consisting only of herself) called “the Moderates”, which seems to lie politically between the LibDems and the David Cameron-Levita Conservative Party “compassionate Conservatism” scam of 2010-2015.
Looks like Istanbul. As Dr. Johnson said of his cat, Hodge, “...a very fine cat indeed“.

The fact that such a corrupt and nasty creature like Mark Lewis has not been struckoff says a lot about how corrupt and rotten to the core the British legal system is. Forget about his ethnicity, the man is incredibly dishonest and arrogant and deserved not only to be struck off but fined to the extent of leaving him destitute. He is a horrible human being who would throw his mother under the bus if that suited him.

The fact that Lewis is still, nominally, a practising solicitor, is not only a commentary on the lax regulation of the solicitors’ profession, but also on the (((infested))) Press, radio, and TV in the UK, whose “journalists” constantly puffed Lewis as the “great libel lawyer” etc for years (2010-2018 especially), and covered up (by failing to report and publish about) Lewis’s “conviction” before the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal in 2018, and his many other defaults. He has cheated many former clients, one way or another. Some have tried to get justice but the (((infested))) msm has made publicizing their complaints difficult.
Still, his time in the sun seems to be over now.

It is amazing how some people could be quite brilliant at an academic level and yet, at the same time, plain dumb, if not stupid, in their assessment of the socio-political situation of their country. An excellent example of the aforesaid is David Starkey who believes that the monarchy will save Britain. How stupid can you be? Has this fool never heard of the Bill of Rights of 1688 that made sure that NEVER again a sovereign would DARE to challenge the power of the new ruling class (City merchants and selfish, greedy noblemen) represented by the Parliament?
Millions of naive young men went to war thinking they were fighting “For King and Country” when in fact they did it for Rothschild & Co. People like David Starkey would NEVER accept that because they are part of the Establishment.

Yes. There are still people around who appear to seriously believe that the King should (and could) somehow dismiss the government of the day, then rule by decree via some kind of Divine Right. The last king that tried that in England got his head cut off.
In any case, the idea that mediocre accidents of birth such as Charles and/or possibly well-meaning but rather thick William (or his offspring) could rule effectively is just not credible.

What an extraotdinary little video about the cat in subway station. I thought it was a kind of sophisticated robotic lookalike and not a real cat. They are amazing. My wife told me she had one that would stop and “freeze” looking at another cat or a bird he intended to catch. You would swear it was a statue!

Cats are adaptable. I have seen some, used to public places and crowds, completely unfazed by the hubbub. For example, one outside the British Museum (in the 1980s, before the old forecourt and car park etc was redeveloped).
