The silver lining to the present atrocities being committed by Israeli Jews is that even fewer people will now want to listen to the endless anti-German (and anti-European) Jew-Zionist propaganda re. the 1920s, 1930s and early/mid 1940s, which has as its real agenda the bolstering of Jewish and Zionist power in the present-day.

I disagree that 16-y-o people should vote. I should prefer a voting age of 28.

As to Starmer-stein’s desperate ploy to increase the Labour vote in 2028 or 2029, I doubt that it will have the huge effect for which he and his cronies may be hoping. The 16-17 year-olds may, most of them, prefer Labour to other parties (at present), but most will not vote, and many may not vote for Labour, especially after the spending cuts etc.

Perhaps that lady would like to move over to drinking Vichy water. It’s better for you than Coca-Cola, and has an interesting history. Vichy Celestins is the source I prefer.

Trump is right, though, about Coca-Cola having been better when they used cane sugar.

Imagine if that were to happen in reverse. Whole streets in North and North-West London would be devastated.

Despite the overwhelming military power of the Israeli forces, their “reduction of the Gaza ghetto” has still not been completed.

I do. He is also as thick as two short planks and incredibly ignorant.

…and then briefly, and ludicrously, Prime Minister.

[“A textbook example proving our so-called leaders haven’t got a damn clue. Asked about the UK supplying F-35 parts to Israel, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy spits out utter bullshit about how stopping the supply would affect conflicts like Ukraine, where, news flash, the F-35 isn’t even in use….These are the very same people who want to fight Russia. Clueless and dangerous.“]

Lammy, a “leader“, though?… Hardy ha ha. Just an egregious example of a “diversity hire”…

That refers to Esau: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mess_of_pottage; https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Genesis-25-29/.

I agree with that. They have an obligation, even now.

Talking point

I noted years ago on the blog that Starmer-stein seemed to be politically clueless.

The “Ukrainian Army” is a collection of sacrificial cannon-fodder, commanded (ineptly) by a bunch of thugs posing as military officers, right up to the rank of general. It is losing (by death, serious injury, and capture) about 1,000 a day, which is probably 2,000 a day if you take into account desertions. It is, therefore, hardly surprising that there are no volunteers any more, and that the regime has to use press-gangs to kidnap people off the street.

This could end with the USA on one side, and virtually every other country in the world on the other side.

The 20th Century was “the American Century” but we are now in a successor-situation.

If Moscow or Petersburg are hit by serious missile attacks, Kiev might find itself flattened by nuclear attack, and if the Germans continue to assist the Kiev regime to that extent, Germany makes itself a target.

Has that ship not already sailed? Interesting, though. Were Turkey to use its massive army against Israel, that might be the end of Israel, notwithstanding Israel’s nuclear weapons.

It is only just over a century since Ottoman Turkey ruled what are now called Lebanon, Israel, Syria, and many more current regional states beside.

Is this the capital city of a civilized nation, or a city collapsing under the weight of non-European untermenschen, and which is rapidly moving towards a situation of civil/social war?

  1. As someone who is sympathetic to most ideas of constitutional reform, I believe there is NO CASE WHATSOEVER to give 16 year olds the vote. In this respect at least, Britain is NOT out of line with most European or indeed countries further afield. The vast majority of countries set the minimum voting age at 18.

This is just completely blatant self-serving gerrymandering by Labour. They view all constitutional reform through the lens of their own perceived self-interest. It is obviously intended to benefit them only because most younger people and ethnics who tend to be younger on average than Britons vote Labour..

How about giving 16 year olds a FAIR vote to cast, Labour?:

    Self-serving, bloody hypocrites!🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

We can only hope it backfires on the hypocritical, anti-British useless turds.

  2. Still, it is the Tories’ fault they have been able to do this. When they were in power, they should have written a codified constitution overseen by a constitutional court which would have rules about changing the franchise. In countries with this sort of arrangement the age at which the franchise can be exercised cannot be changed without a bare majority or a two thirds majority agreeing. Or they should have given the Lords veto power over the franchise age.

  3. Now that 16 year olds will be able to have a vote which, in many cases, will have ZILCH effect upon the overall election result:

How about giving 16 year olds much heavier criminal penalties if they commit crimes particularly violent ones?

Oh, I forgot, the hypocritical, self-serving wankers of the Labour Party will not approve of that idea since crime is overwhelmingly a young person’s occupation and some of the very worst young criminals are black thugs the Labour Party would want the votes of.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  4. Let us hope it backfires rather like Labour’s self-serving setting-up of the Scottish Parliament did within a few years (whilst giving us South of the Border not even proper regional devolution let alone an English parliament) with the Reform UK party topping 16/17 year olds voting intentions instead of them.

  5. It would be funny if that happened with the situation being similar to that of Germany where the younger age groups tend to vote AfD more than older people.

    1. John:
That may come to pass. Apparently, in some areas, Reform is quite high in popularity among school students. Also, some may vote unexpectedly in order to cock a snook at the System.

      1. Hopefully, Reform UK will surge amongst the 16 and 17 year old age group and then Labour will no doubt quitely drop their utterly blatant, totally self-serving, opportunistic , profoundly silly, wholly unecessary and irresponsible scheme to tilt the electorate in their favour still futher.

Doesn’t the ‘pure’, stand alone, First Past The Post electoral system already rig elections enough for them when they gain absurd, huge majorities on a very low 34% share of the national vote?🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  6. Why the age of 16? What is so special about that? Won’t 14 and 15 year olds feel left out and feel they are being discriminated against?

    1. John:
Exactly. Some things you can do, within the law, at 16, some at 18, but these are fairly arbitrary ages. As you say, if this is Labour policy now, it is purely to depress the vote going to others, because Labour assume under-18s will vote Labour. I doubt that most will even vote.

      1. Not that the fake Conservative Party is ever going to win office again but if they did perhaps they could get their own back on Labour by setting a minimum wealth level to exercise the right to vote? Others can also seek to blatantly meddle with the franchise in order to serve their own perceived self-interest.

      2. If anything, the minimum voting age should INCREASE. In the exceptionally well-governed country of ‘Hang ‘Em High City’ otherwise known as Singapore you have to be 21 to vote and in an other well-governed country, Japan, you had to be 20 but now, I think, it is 18.

90% plus of the world’s countries set the age at 18. There is no real case for lowering it.

      3. I’m a bit unusual in that my interest in politics developed early. I always had some political opinions to spout to my teachers but, even so, I did not think it was a huge burden to wait a few years until I was 18 to cast my first vote which, contary to Labour expectations, was for the Conservative and Unionist Party!😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

      4. It is an utterly shameless attempt to rig the electorate and tilt it towards a more pro-Labour direction. Any party that stoops to this level of gerrymandering is intellectually bankrupt. It is PATHETIC.

Still, the fake Conservative Party should have seen it coming. After all, Bliar’s original New Labour scam deliberately imported foreigners en mass to gerrymander the electorate so Labour has form for this.

      5. Labour’s sister party in Germany, the SPD, the Greens and their Liberal Party (FDP) formed a coaltion in 2021 and had this stupid and wholly unnecessary policy as part of their governing agreement. It failed to pass because the CDU (basically German Tories) made a complaint to the Constitutional Court which saw it for what it is ie blatant gerrymadering of the electorate and ruled it to be unconstitutional.

      6. I had the first beginnings of an interest in politics and world events when I was 14/15. I should not have been forced to wait a hugely lengthy period of time before I could cast my first vote at 18 years of age. That was very unfair!🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

‘New’ Labour Mark 2 equals batshit craziness, a basic unfitness for government and increasingly silly levels of childlike policies.

      7. Unsually when it comes to constitutional matters, Britain is INLINE with and as modern as 90% plus of the world’s countries:

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_age

There is simply no real sensible reason to change it.

On the other hand, Britain is severely out of date when it comes to the VOTING SYSTEM:

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_system

In Europe, we share ‘pure’, stand alone, First Past The Post with only Belarus (Putin’s only real friend in Europe) as a system for lower legislative house elections.

How about changing THAT, Labour, self-serving hypocrites!?🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  7. Now, if we were to reintroduce capital punishment then we would normally set the minimum age for execution at 18 as it used to be but then as crime is overwhelmingly a young person’s occupation and some under 18 year olds can be just as murderous as 18 year olds eg the Southport multiple murderer why set the age at 18? Why not have the minimum age of execution at 16?

Well, if they are old enough to vote and considered to be adults in that respect and old enough to murder then they are also old enough to hang or go to ‘Old Sparky’ etc!🙄🙄🙄🙄

      1. It was in the ‘Deep South’ after all! The worst savagery around American executions are the methods. I really can not understand for the life of me why they did not carry on with the method they inherited from us ie long drop hanging. Before we abolished the death penalty here we had got our only method down to a fine art form using skilled executioners. It took only about a week to train people like Albert Pierrepoint properly at Pentonville prison in London. Executions were conducted with dignity and took less than 30 seconds to complete.

One of the most disturbing aspects of the death penalty in the USA is the utterly ridiculous time prisioners awaiting execution spend on ‘Death Row’ and also that executions are cheered by some death penalty supporters.

Yes, it is true that they will have comitted an awful murder to be executed or muders eg in the case of Ted Bundy but it is simply not civilised to cheer as some people did when the hearse exits the prison as happened when he was put to death. If you are going to have a death penalty then do it with a sense of common decency.

      2. Perhaps, one reason they do not use British (and Singaporean/Japanese)-style long-drop hangings in America is because in some states the relatives of murder victims can watch the murderer being put to death. Long drop hangings would be over far too quickly.

You can see an interesting documentary on Youtube featuring murder victims’ relatives going to watch a lethal injection execution in Texas called ‘A View To A Kill’.

      3. It is very young admittedly. However, the US and now, thanks to Labour and fake Conservative Party treachery for too many years Britain as well, have too many feral, impulsive, young Negro bucks who have pronounced violent tendencies who are very difficult to control.

Executions are one of the very limited options to try and stem their crime rates.

    1. Indeed. The only real Jews are the religiously devout Ultra-Orthadox ones with the black hats who live in places like Stamford Hill. Rabbi Elhanan Beck comes from there and is one of those people. He goes on many of the pro-Palestinian demonstrations. You can find many interesting videos featuring him on Youtube.

Zionists are, for the most part, ‘Jews’ who do not follow Judaism. They hide behind the banner of Zionism and stir-up trouble and then true, religious Jews like Rabbi Beck get it in the neck from the resulting backlash as a consequence of the Zionists’ often deplorable behaviour.

The Zionists do not care about REAL ‘anti-semitism’. Infact, they welcome it as it gives them power and influence.

  8. Yes, Lammy is thick as pig shit and an obvious ‘diversity hire’ but no worse than James Cleverly (Thickerly) was. It was the fake Conservatives who started the trend of putting cretins and morons eg Coco The Clown (Boris) into the Foreign Office and having them in the position of Her Majesty’s/His Majesty’s Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs. At one time, that post was a very prestigious one with people of the calibre of Lord Halifax, Anthony Eden, David Owen, Lord Carrington, Douglas Hurd, Robin Cook in the post but now it is held by any old dim dog from a crime ridden hellhole like Tottenham or less crime ridden Braintree.

A lot of 16 and 17 year olds moaned and whinged they were not allowed to vote in the EU referendum which, for that single referendum, I have some degree of sympathy for the notion that they should have been allowed to vote. Also, a lot of pro-EU 18, 19, 20 year olds and upwards took to the streets the day after the referendum moaning about the result but THEY COULD have changed the result IF they had bothered to vote.

Even many older people do not vote and have never done so. Surprisingly, Michael Owen has said he has never voted even though he has a fortune to protect.

  11. I think your proposed voting age of 28 is too high. My preferred voting age is 18, 19, 20 or 21. Maybe, if we had a powerful and elected Upper House like Italy has with its Senate the voting age could be 25 as it was and might still be for that chamber of the Italian parliament

Perhaps, an IQ test as well? That should weed out a lot of dumb Labour voters of the all too frequent kind who say things like ‘why do we have to wait so long for an NHS appointment?’But then say ‘Refugees are Welcome’ and are supportive of mass immigration in other ways from the voting franchise🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
