The furore bears some similarities to the free speech debate in Britain, where citizens have had a knock on the door from police over opinions posted online.
To its supporters, the AfD is only the party that speaks for Germans who are sick of mass migration, political correctness, economic stagnation and the creep of so-called wokeism.
But to its opponents, including many in the government, civil service and intelligence services, the party is a far-Right menace that was recently classified as an extremist group by the country’s equivalent of MI5.
The BfV has been monitoring senior AfD figures through methods such as wiretapping and informants for at least five years.“

I was unaware of the incident referred to, but that Sam Armstrong is the same one who was part of the bully-cabal around washed-up half-caste and one-time “Conservative” Westminster candidate Mark Clarke, who was at the centre of the Con Party Road Trip battle bus scandal a decade ago (David Cameron-Levita called Clarke a “nightmare“: he broke his “ho” girlfriend’s jaw during rough sex, and was also involved with various Con Party women including the ghastly MP and Cabinet Minister, Justine Greening —now apparently a lesbianka!— and lived off his doctor wife’s money at the same time).

We hear much about the Muslim world and how the West is in peril from its expansion etc. In fact, the Muslim world has only, or at least mainly, the strength given to it by the West, meaning, mainly, White European people.
Who discovered oil and natural gas as fuels etc? Europeans and those of European origin (Americans etc). Who found uses for oil and gas? European-race people. Who discovered oil fields and gas fields, and refined oil? European-race people.

Samreen Akhtar was considered one of the brightest new barristers on the circuit as she built a profile by speaking out against prejudice suffered by young black and Asian aspiring lawyers.
But her career is now in tatters after she was convicted of using her professional contacts to attack an organised crime gang member who tried to murder a rival gangster in a drugs turf war.

Saw a long recording of the final director’s cut of the famous film, Apocalypse Now. More than impressive, and makes much more sense than the usual much-cut-down version that I have seen in the past.
Quite many films have been butchered; to what extent, you only understand once you see fuller versions: The Wicker Man (1973) is far far better in the rather longer versions. I once had a copy of the Director’s Cut version.
One film that I thought only just made sense when I first saw it in France is Les Rivieres pourpres. I read later that the director had cut out a high proportion of the film as originally made; as far as I know, no longer cut exists in the public domain.

One of the big questions is as to whether Restore (not mentioned in that poll) and Reform are fishing in the same pool, or whether one (Restore?) or both are, or will be, able to get usual non-voters, those disgusted by the choice previously available, out to vote. That poll would seem to indicate that Labour may not revive even if Burnham does replace Starmer-stein. Not so surprising, really. I have commented previously on the fact that in the UK we are now moving rapidly to a non-civic society, i.e. one where people vote (whether in elections or when on juries) according to racial and cultural loyalties. Call it the “O.J. Simpson syndrome” if you like.
I fully support the jury system, in principle, and was myself a practising barrister for a number of years (1992-2008, based in London and later Exeter when not overseas), but the jury system falls to pieces in a “multicultural” society. The same is true of voting “democracy”, and a police force that can be relied upon.
