Ukraine cannot join NATO except as a fig-leaf for further attacks on Russia. A good tenth if not a fifth of its pre-2014 territory is now occupied by Russian forces and being administered as a part of the Russian Federation. Its economy is on the floor and only being propped up by Western aid of all sorts. Much of the pre-2014 population is either under Russian rule or has left for other countries. It also faces demographic extinction— the birth rate is far from being high enough to keep the population numbers stable.
Still, good to see that not all Western statesmen are crazies desperate to trigger a third world war.

Hello, my sarcastic comment was motivated because I remembered that a minister, or Prime Minister, was attacked by the London mob during the 18th century. I have just checked and it was a Prime Minister; John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute, who was PM for a short time (1760-63). Here are some excerpts from an article published by THE TIMES in 2006:
“On his way to dine with the Lord Mayor in November 1761, the London mob pelted Bute with dung. This despite his precaution of employing the notorious “one-eyed fighting coachman” George Stephenson as his bodyguard. At the State Opening of Parliament, he tried to avoid his waiting tormentors by leaving incognito in an ordinary hackney chair. However, he was spotted making his getaway and roughed up. Ill and weary of the unequal struggle, he resigned as Prime Minister in 1763.”
The poor man was a victim of the hatred most Englishmen felt for the Scots at that time, here is another fragment about this feeling, you will find it mentions (((the usual suspects))) LOL

Thank you very much for the video, although it infuriated me (how rare! LOL) The disrespect/contempt for Britain´s architectural heritage shown by ALL British governments since 1945 is something unbelievable! I know quite a lot about this subject and believe me when I tell you that the UK is, by far, the worst country in Europe with regard to architectural preservation. I believe the hateful, anti-British lefties are behind this. Everything beautiful that reminds people of Britain´s greatness must be destroyed.
