Thoughts out of season…
I happened to drop by my local supermarket, a Waitrose outlet. I bought a few basic items (bread, coffee, water, tomato, banana, paw-paw etc) and then went to buy some Euromillions lottery tickets. The draw tomorrow has a high-value prize, £132M, so I decided to buy 20 tickets. The elderly woman cashier told me that the machine told her that she was “not allowed” to sell so many to one person! A mere 20 tickets (£50 worth)!
I told her that I had had as many or more in the past. Oh, no, this is a “new rule”, I was told. A supervisor was called. She commiserated with me but explained that the new National Lottery company (a Czech thing called Allwyn) had just brought in this rule to “protect” people. I presume she meant “problem” gamblers.
£50! I recall that, in the 1980s, some City of London barrow-boy trader whose name escapes me (Terry-something) gambled £500,000 each-way on his own horse running in the Grand National. Equivalent to at least £2M each-way, i.e. £4M altogether, in today’s money.
Incidentally, though that horse lost, coming in fourth, Terry-something’s bet did not lose, because an each-way bet in a race with so many runners covers the winning horse (win and place) and the three placed horses behind the winner. In other words, Terry-something lost his £500,000 win bet but won on his £500,000 place bet, which paid out either a quarter or a fifth of the odds. His horse was at a fairly high price, so Terry-something collected enough to go away with a profit of about a million.
Anyway, returning to Waitrose and the lottery tickets, I was “allowed” (!) to buy 10 Euromillions tickets. When I mentioned the nonsense of it all to another cashier, on paying for my groceries, she also commiserated but added, “I suppose it is because we have to be mindful…some people lose their houses and so on…“, to which I retorted that people have to grow up and bite the bullet, not be monitored and controlled by nanny-state rules.
Jesus H. Christ! This country is going mad (as I expostulated during the above-described events), and is becoming just impossible.
The stupid thing is that the nanny-state restriction is on tickets bought per transaction, so there would have been nothing to stop me going round the store, returning to the kiosk, then buying more tickets! Or, indeed, going to another store and buying there.
So typical of the UK today. A stupid box-ticking rule, brought in by some drone with (probably) a ridiculous job title such as (my guess) “community engagement nobody”, which rule accomplishes nothing, not even on its own totally fake “caring sharing” bs basis, and which just inconveniences people and takes even more joy and hope out of life in Britain.
Of course, the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic accelerated all of this fake communitarian bs, and was designed to do that.

Those corrupt and/or stupid MPs seem to be unaware that the real invasion started some time ago, is continuing, and involves the influx of a million non-whites every single year, thus ruining the UK economically, culturally, socially, and causing shortages and/or price increases in housing, food, water supply, NHS provision etc.
As for China, not only is China vast, with a huge population dwarfing that of the UK (and with commensurate military and naval resources) but it poses no direct threat at all to the UK.
There is no direct Chinese military or espionage threat to the UK at all. What terribly important secrets is the declining, decadent UK supposed to have that China might want to know? Which Labour MPs have been involved with young girls or little boys? What have Eastern European rent boys have been doing with Starmer-stein?
What China is doing (not only in the UK) is exporting people. Taking over societies such as the UK by the sheer numbers of “legally-admitted” immigrants, businesspeople etc. Gradual and peaceful takeover.

The UK level now is about 8%. In England, about 9% or even 10%. In many towns and cities, far higher. Once the level gets to 20%, 30% etc in any particular city, town, or region, you will have either an attempted takeover, an actual takeover, or a civil war of some kind.

I found it shocking and infuriating that those idiots have put a limit on the number of lottery tickets you may buy.
However, there is worse. About two years ago, my wife contacted her bank in the UK and asked for some money to be sent here. The girl with whom she was talking asked her, “What do you want that money for?” My wife was almost speechless at such insolence and said. “It is MY money and I wanted it, it is as simple as that”. The moronic employee seemed to realise how stupid and rude her question had been and said, “Oh, OK”
We were remembering that story today, and I pointed out to my wife that the worst part of it is that the employees are complete morons who merely repeat what they have been told. I would not dream of asking a customer, “What do you want that money for?”. They do not question the instructions they receive. If that is not brainwashing, what is it?

When I was staying in Egypt for a few months in 1998, I happened to meet a retired British Army engineer officer. He was full of admiration for the skills of the ancient Egyptians, having just visited the Temple of Edfu, but was scathing about the skills of the modern Egyptians who had built the hotel in which we were both staying. The building was already crumbling, after only a few years.

I remember reading (nearly 25 years ago) a shrewd observation made by an American ethno-nationalist who sadly passed away some years ago. “Modern Greeks have nothing to do with the ancient Greeks”. The same applies to modern Egyptians.
Non-White people in general may learn to do things like a White man does, but it is NOT in them to pay attention to detail, nor to care for things or people. They can imitate quite well, but they do NOT have the capacity to work things out by themselves. That is why the infrastructure of those Middle Eastern countries is a disaster. Let´s not even consider Black Africa.
I have not been to the Arab Emirates, but, according to what I read and your own testimonies, the fact that things work quite well over there is due to the presence of White men in charge of the building and maintenance of the infrastructure.

As to the Middle East, I have been to Qatar twice (2001 and 2008) and to a few other places, including (altogether) 3-4 months in Egypt.
The Gulf states may look, or in some respects be, quite advanced in terms of infrastructure etc, but some of them have 80% or even 90% of their populations foreign. None of the 90% have any real rights, certainly not to settle permanently, or any political rights. That is so whether the expat is a $500,000 a year lawyer or banker from London or New York, or a $10,000 a year Indian, Pakistani working on sanitation or construction, or a Filipina maid working almost 24/7 for very little pay.
When you look at most of the Kuwaitis, Qataris etc, they are almost without exception useless and unpleasant drones, and the world would be better without them.

Today is the first anniversary of the death of the heroic Ursula Haverbeck (8-11-1928 = 20-11-2024). To remain faithful to an idea after the most complete and brutal defeat, whose consequences were/are worldwide persecution and defamation, is something that only a handful of extremely brave and strong souls can achieve. Ursula Haverbeck was one of them. NEVER FORGET = NEVER FORGIVE!
