If a military confrontation between Russia and the UK were to take place, the UK would be reduced to a radioactive wasteland in a few hours. Everyone with a few working brain cells knows it. Unfortunately, that kind of people seems to be a tiny minority.

Libertarian globalists like Tim should leave Reform UK, leave the Conservative Party and either have the courage of their convictions and set-up an explicit libertarian globalist party to see how unpopular that philosophy is at the ballot box or go and live in America where this distinctly foreign and unwanted political philosophy originates from. Indeed. Daniel Hannan campaigned hard for Brexit yet he does not seem to realise that his favoured libertarian globalist/ultra-Thatcherite economic policies are very unlikely to make Brexit work. The Labour government under Burnham knows this too which may lead to them going back to the more leftist and interventionist economic policies of the 1970’s
Anti-EU libertarian globalists like Hannan and company should really have campaigned for staying in the EU. Mrs Thatcher developed a more critical stance towards the EU late in her Premiership but I think due to her wishing to prevent a return to state interventionist policies she would have voted to stay in the EU if she had been alive in 2016. Maggie to my knowledge never called for outright withdrawal from the EU and indeed campaigned hard against the Labour plan for this in their 1983 manifesto.

The only British party the AfD is known to have links with is the Homeland Party. The traditional Tory group the Traditional Britain Group (TBG) has links to the AfD. Some officials from the German party have been to TBG events.

Yes, that does look like a very comfortable set-up, with the sleeping cat, a hot drink, perchance coffee or hot chocolate (or, in your part of the world, mate tea) on the desk, and a wood fire crackling in the next room. An oasis of warmth and comfort compared to the dark and cold outside picture beyond the window, perhaps a view of the Hudson River, or similar anyway.

Apparently, just 9% of our GDP now is based-upon manufacturing whereas the figure in Germany and Japan is well over 20%. This very low figure and our trade deficit is acting as a drag on our longterm economic growth rate thus increasing unemployment and creating only low paid work in the main.
The Tories are very stupid to pick-upon benefit claimants and people in low paid employment. With fewer and fewer British people in the electorate it is inevitable the poor will become a larger percentage of the overall British electorate. Needless to say, despite their ever increasing pandering to ethnics, few of these ethnic people vote Conservative so where are Tory votes going to come from in the future?
