So anyway Reform 98 short of a majority. 217 Labour MPs, 71 LibDems, 69 Cons (so near-irrelevant; unable even to make an arrangement with Reform). SNP 30 [etc].
A weak minority government at best. Might lead to a second election not long after. Good, though, for social-nationalism.
I blogged about all that yesterday. Flagging the removal of the Triple Lock will mean almost all pensioners who might have voted Labour (a smallish minority anyway) will not now vote Labour.
As a personality, Burnham is, arguably, marginally or even somewhat to be preferred to Starmer-stein, but Burnham seems equally clueless.

The police have been behaving like compliant brainwashed clowns for the past 20+ years. They roll up to “conferences” of that sort, and allow themselves to be ranted at, either by Islamists, or by non-white “multikultis”, or by malicious Jews of the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” type (despite the fact that the main personalities of the “CAA” are proven liars and perjurers).
The police as a poundshop Stasi. It has to stop. Get them back doing their proper job(s).
It is in the interest of the police themselves to stop. if not, then when push comes to shove they will share the fate of Britain’s treacherous MPs, scribblers, talking heads, and other riff-raff.

What Burnham and Labour have failed to understand is that, yes, maybe “only” 28% of voters oppose dumping the Triple Lock, but almost all of those are people over 60 y-o.
About a third of the electorate (not the whole population 0-100) is now aged 65+; probably 40% or more are aged 60+. In other words, it can be inferred that a very high percentage of those aged 60+, and almost all of those aged 65+, oppose dumping the Triple Lock. These are the people who always vote (admittedly, I myself am an exception). If 28% of eligible voters are against dumping the Triple Lock, then probably about 40% of voters who are actually going to vote oppose these proposals.
I think that Labour will find that much of their support among the over 60s, maybe also over-50s, will fall away now. Why? Because those getting or about to get the State Pension are really interested in what happens to the Triple Lock, whereas younger people, whatever their views, are naturally not going to be so interested, so their approval of Burnham’s plans is not very important politically, electorally; they have other issues of importance to them.
One point to bear in mind is that the official inflation figures do not reflect the real state of play. Inflation is usually far higher than the official figures suggest, and that particularly applies to the staples that poorer people, and many pensioners in particular, buy regularly.
That last tweeter may be unable to spell but, of course, is correct. Money taken from pensioners will go to, inter alia, “Ukraine” (the Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev), importing and then sheltering and feeding millions of useless black/brown parasites, supporting the USA’s overseas adventures, and then on a myriad projects most of which will not benefit either older or younger (real) British people.
The Burnham cretin has presumably not considered the matter in sufficient detail.

In fact, John Cleese need not worry about being arrested. If the initial referral to Prevent is then passed to police, and if that initial screening reveals no security threat or “danger of radicalization” (i.e. which might lead to “terrorist” activity), the police close the file, though in some cases may refer the matter to mental health services to to the so-called “Channel” multi-agency outfit.
Cleese can carry on carrying on, in short.

John Cleese is one of the “celebrities” who always played it safe by criticising (quite rightly) the obnoxious Muslim fundamentalists while, at the same time, not saying a word about “the usual suspects” and their evil influence. Their fake “patriotism” is politically correct; that is why we see these people regularly invited to GB NEWS, where they can rant to their hearts’ content.
