Once all free speech is destroyed, there will be only one way to fight back…

Transformation of the land

The Bealtaine Cottage project, like the much earlier, larger and very different one at Findhorn [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Findhorn_Foundation] and others elsewhere, can be very instructive.

The same could be said of Findhorn.

When I had a Twitter account, I occasionally interacted with the Bealtaine Cottage account, until a couple of malicious Jews trolled that other account, saying that the lady operating it should not be talking to a “neonazi” (after which she, rather foolishly, blocked me). “They” ruin everything; it is what they do…

The Internet holds out the promise of connection for isolated communities and individuals, commercial possibilities, help and advice etc. In a general societal collapse, such communities and individals could be the key to recovery, especially if the Internet continues. It was originally developed with that in mind: survival (after a nuclear war). What would happen now, I do not know.

Yet that talking head presenter and others (eg Peter Hitchens) are unwilling to make the leap from thinking that this whole “virus” disaster is a result of governmental incompetence, to thinking that there is a supranational agenda behind it.

I suppose that, when we hear or read about historical events such as the 1930s and 1940s Soviet purges, or the hunt for heretics by the Roman Catholic Church in the late Middle Ages and Renaissance, we wonder “whatever can have possessed them?“, and perhaps we smugly conclude that it was a form of mass hysteria that could never afflict us. Well, think again…

Here we are in the UK, keeping (most people) to a ridiculous “Rule of Six”, something which has really no scientific basis, and was laid down (and the term itself coined) by the part-Jew public entertainer turned ridiculous “Prime Minister”; Boris-idiot.

“We” (most of the public) have been frightened out of “our” collective skin by a virus not infecting most people, and which kills about 1% of those who are infected in the UK. It has killed one individual person out of every 8,000 (!) on the Earth. Not one in eight, not one in 800, but one in 8,000!

“We” (most of the public) are wearing (being forced to wear) facemasks in shops, supermarkets, on trains (where a study has shown the chance of being infected without a facemask is only 11,000:1 (and so the chance of being infected on a train and then dying is about one in a million…). It’s mad.

Why are “we” complying with the above and other crazy “measures”? Well, partly because “we” (most people?) believe that “we” are both in danger of infection, and also that facemasks etc help to prevent that infection (which they do not, or only peripherally).

Then there is the fact that the “rules” are at least notionally “the law”, and most British people are still law-abiding most of the time. In fact, those “rules” may be legally invalid, but that is above most people’s heads, and so “caviar to the general”). Most of the public just take them as being prima facie valid.

For those not sufficiently intimidated, there is the toytown police with which to contend, brandishing their now-huge fines.

Finally, there is the combined effect of social pressure from the brainwashed many, and the guilt propaganda (“if you fail to wear a mask, you are careless about the lives and health of others, and are a kind of murderer or terrorist“).

The result of all that is huge pressure to conform, which is what this is all about, behind the scenes. Part of The Great Reset (openly admitted by the World Economic Forum etc).

What is the plan of the international conspiracy (or “consensus”)?

First of all, the destruction of Europe as the leading population in the world. There are several ways in which the international conspiracy is plotting that.

First of all, by encouraging migration-invasion by blacks, browns and “yellows” (mainly Chinese).

Secondly, by making Europeans a minority in their own lands. This has several aspects. Firstly, as above: migration-invasion. Secondly, by births to non-Europeans but in Europe; thirdly, the propaganda which puts white Northern Europeans down in terms of history, culture, ability etc. You name it. The “Black Lives Matter” nonsense, the attack on our history (statues, heroic tales, great personalities etc).

It would also include the fact that the actual “black” population of the UK is only about 3% or 4%, and the whole black/brown/other non-European population no more than 20%, yet pretty much every TV ad now has blacks and/or mixed race individuals in it, not infrequently a white/black couple (usually a white woman with a black “husband” or “boyfriend”). That also applies to the popular “soaps” such as Emmerdale, and even the period dramas set in the almost entirely white England of 1940, 1950 or 1960 or so: Inspector George Gently, Grantchester etc. “...and is there still honey for tea?“

Propaganda. It is noticed by many, though I think more by those who are older, maybe wiser and/or who actually remember what England/UK used to be like before the System “agenda” picked up the pace (to pick a year, before 1989, which was the last 33-year-cycle year. The next one is 2022…).

2022, the next really significant agenda-setting year.

Thirdly, the international conspiracy wants to marginalize Europe by the above methods, and then by reducing Europe to a vassal of NWO/ZOG, placing North America and China/Far East in the forefront.

My solution to that attack of Evil is, firstly, for the UK and all Europe to join forces with Russia and the Russian people; secondly, to remove non-Europeans (as large populations) from Europe; three, remove those who constitute a Trojan Horse in the UK and Europe; four, eliminate the decadence in culture and the msm.

BBC Radio 4 PM

Happened to hear the System current affairs show, PM, yesterday. They had on Professor Ferguson, he of the “800,000 will die in the UK by the Summer“, he of or formerly of “SAGE” (i.e. DUMB— Department Under Matt and Boris), he who broke his own “rule” when he allowed his married “ho” visit him three times during “lockdown” in the Spring.

Incredibly, PM did not tax him on his hypocrisy, neither, moe importantly, did the interviewer question Ferguson about his many disastrous mis-predictions, going back years, to the foot-and-mouth disaster of 2001. He was treated very respectfully, as an “expert”…It’s sick. Pure propaganda.

I do not say that a “Second Wave” is faked, not faked, or even exists. I have no idea from my own knowledge. I (just like Boris-idiot, cokehead drunk Gove, Rishi Sunak and little Matt Hancock) am not a scientist and know of it only what I have read or been told.

I happened to see the Twitter account of airhead ex-Labour MP and (incredibly) minister, Caroline Flint. “Shallow” would be too kind a judgment. That led me to the tweets of another Blairite “Labour” ex-MP, Gloria del Piero. She managed to fall below even the Caroline Flint standard. Incredible. Both “Labour Friends of Israel” members.

Flint was also a noted expenses cheat and freeloader. She made millions out of being an MP for 22 years, not least by having the taxpayers buy her a second home (a flat in Victoria, Central London) via the MP expenses system. She also “employed” (also via expenses) her own husband, and claimed for anything and everything.

Corbyn was not the one who —mainly— destroyed Labour, but harpies of the above sort (Jacqui Smith, expenses fraudster, was another).

Actually, I had forgotten that the above two even existed. Happy days.

The infantile and disordered

I must have missed that particular storm in a Twitter teacup. Typical, though. The self-described “Left” (a term which, like “Right”, I never use), or (pseudo-) “socialist” element has nohing much to say.

In 1989, socialism died, all over the world. That was as true of British socialism or social democracy as it was of Soviet socialism (which just expired and evaporated within a couple of years, being replaced by “oligarchic” kleptocracy), and Chinese socialism (which kept the names and forms of socialism while transforming into complete cut-throat capitalism under overall State supervision).

In Britain, the Labour Party changed from a social-democratic party with socialist roots and pretensions into a basically finance-capitalist party with social-democratic pretensions. Clause 4 (nationalization) was ditched; within a few years it was uncontroversial for the half-Jew Mandelson, Tony Blair’s most important ally, to say that he was “intensely relaxed about people getting filthy rich“. Imagine Clement Attlee, Harold Wilson or, say, James Callaghan saying that (in public)!

As Labour became a non-socialist party in the 1990s, the more socialist-oriented element in it became infected more and more with the peripheral politics of identity.

As a frequent browser in Collet’s London Bookshop in Charing Cross Road in 1976 (aged 19), I saw that they had shelves devoted to books and magazines about “sexual politics” and the like, as well as what became known as “multiculturalism”. I was social-national even then, and thought that those areas were, even in the context of Marxist/post-Marxist ideology, sideshows at best. I was right then, but wrong down the line, because it was exactly that sort of stuff that eventually took over, not the Labour Party as such, but the more “socialist”-leaning element within it.

What are the concerns of those “socialists” on, say, Twitter? “Refugees” (most of whom are bogus anyway); “LGBT” etc; supporting all the “Covid-19” nonsense (facemasks, lockdowns etc); “black lives matter”. After all those, maybe poverty too, but the real old-style socialists focussed on relief of poverty as of prime importance, together with the whole socio-economic pattern of society. Also, those old-style activists had a idea of how to achieve their objectives. The post-Marxists have exchanged that for what amounts to a virtue-signalling whine.

The Twitterati who think themselves “socialist” (there are exceptions), especially the “antifa” element and the Jew-Zionists, find their greatest pleasure and victory when someone with whom they disagree (usually unthinkingly) is expelled from Twitter. Most interesting tweeters (like me, if I immodestly say so) are now gone from increasingly dull Twitter.

Also, the Twitterati are often found complacently reciting that xyz (like me) have rightly been expelled from Twitter because “Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc are commercial companies and can expel or deny service to anyone”. Pretty pathetic. A surrender to the marketplace, and a quasi-monopolistic marketplace at that. No thought as to the rights of the citizen qua citizen (eg free speech rights) going beyond mere contractual rights.

One might add that Twitter is the main playground of such people. Not the real world where real events happen and where questions of politics, questions of importance, are decided.

Whining on Twitter (“slacktivism”) becomes the substitute for real political or social action.

You can see all of that in the Corbyn saga of recent years. Corbyn Labour was not without its virtues, though Corbyn was really a surviving example of an old-style socialist surrounded by those new-style pseudo-socialist virtue-signallers; political coelacanth [“Coelacanths were thought to have become extinct in the Late Cretaceous, around 66 million years ago, but were rediscovered in 1938…The coelacanth was long considered a “living fossil““— Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coelacanth].

The result of the obsession with peripheral matters (perhaps the most bizarre and off-piste is re. “transphobia”) has been that Labour itself (and the so-called “Left” in general) has become politically almost irrelevant, despite the Labour Party being the only major “opposition” to a Conservative Party government of surpassing incompetence.

Matters of wide public concern: mass immigration and migration-invasion; education; NHS services; a future for the young; security for the old; the environment; housing; pay and benefits.

There are really only two groups now vying for ideological supremacy under the superficial show of politics: the System of “ZOG”, “NWO” etc, and social nationalism. The so-called “Left”, though vocal, is an irrelevance on the wider stage.

The year 2022, 33 years on from the last “reset” of world politics in and after 1989, will be of prime importance. Large-scale change.

I am 64 today. Greetings to readers of my blog.

The Chinese characters for “crisis” are said to mean “danger” and “point of change” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_word_for_%22crisis%22]. Appropriate, at this time when the great Chinese nation has emerged to challenge the West for world supremacy.

Was “the virus” a planned release, posed as an “accident”? We may never know for sure. Some may say that such a speculation is a “conspiracy theory”, but if so, it is one supported —or not dismissed at any rate— by some pretty well-informed people.

Sir Richard Dearlove, one-time SIS chief, seems to believe that the virus came from an accident in a named Chinese lab, and was not an accident of and in the natural world and/or a market.

I personally (obviously not an expert in scientific subjects) find it very strange that the outbreak in Wuhan was contained very easily in the end, and there was quite swiftly an end to “lockdowns”, “social distancing” and facemask wearing etc. Only about 3% of the population of Wuhan was infected (some sources say); the official death rate was a tiny fraction of 1%, being around 5,000 people in a city of 11 million (about 1 death for every 2,000 inhabitants); and most parts of China were completely unaffected.

Meanwhile, in Germany, Austria, Italy, fast-spreading outbreaks. Was there a deliberate planting of material there?

Reverting to the main theme, 31 years ago socialism dissolved all over the world. I have blogged about it before. The fact that the Chinese government still pretends to be “Communist” or socialist carries no weight. “Communist” is just the name on the outside of the box.

Neither does the fact that there are a few pitiful failed “socialist” states here and there prove the survival of socialism as a significant ideology rising beyond the level of a small political cult. North Korea, with its bizarre pseudo-socialist “monarchy” (by any other name); Cuba, which without Soviet subsidy has become what one would expect of a Latino dictatorship ruling over an island populated mainly by blacks and those of mixed race. Ramshackle, its roads potholed, its railways scarcely functioning, its capital full of condemned and collapsed buildings.

As I have blogged previously, in the UK whatever existed of socialism or even social-democracy soon dissipated. The Labour Party deleted Clause 4 from its constitution and socialism was dead in Labour as well as everywhere else.

Corbyn’s rise was resistance against the finance-capitalism then riding triumphant despite the 2008 crash. It was, however, unsuccessful. Now we see Labour just a pale copy of Blairism, run by a former prosecuting lawyer who is, like all his Cabinet, completely tied in with the Jewish/Israel lobby.

Social nationalism, in terms of parties and organizations, has rarely been so weak. A consequence of the globalist finance-capital trend since 1989. The BNP started to gain some traction before 2010, but in the end failed, just like Corbynism.

Now we see widespread discontent, but nowhere (in the UK) amounting to even a real hard protest, let alone any kind of “revolution”. Even the recent dictatorial “control” “laws” [invalid, fake, laws] could not raise much of a protest. Maybe 10,000 in Trafalgar Square, listening to speeches.

When the economy really tanks, when neither Government nor (fake) Opposition can offer the then-suffering British people anything, then social-nationalism might have a chance, but only if it has developed by then (meaning 2022) at least the nucleus of a disciplined party organization.

2022 will bring in an era of change across the world. The world between 2022 and 2055 will be as different from the world 1989-2022 as that now is when compared to 1956-1989.

“Dr. Tim” (of whom I have blogged in the past: see https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/07/18/theyre-coming-to-take-me-away-ha-ha/) thinks that now-misnamed “Labour” should make it difficult for anyone of modest means to join. He wants Labour Party membership to be restricted to the rather comfortably-off. Says it all about Keir Starmer “Labour” really. No shekels, no membership card?

Actually, I rather like the idea. Destroy Labour and people might start to look for a real alternative to the equally-misnamed “Conservative” Party.

If (which I doubt, frankly) that report is accurate, then at last Boris-idiot will have done something worthwhile. I support public service broadcasting, in principle, but the BBC is not that, not any more, if it ever was (certainly not after some admittedly indeterminate point in the past; maybe 1980 or so). I now hate the BBC despite it still having a few good things showing (mainly on BBC Four).

Hitchens is right. All across the world, and perhaps especially in those jurisdictions which for long have considered themselves “societies under law”, with civil rights and reasonable freedoms, there has been a stunning abrogation of liberty, moreover an entirely (from the public health point of view) unnecessary abrogation of rights and liberties. Incidentally, if anyone reading this cannot see the difference between “a society under law” and a mere “society that has laws”, all I can do here is request (for your own sake) that you research that difference.

Also, take a look at Twitter. Most of the pseudo-socialists, “antifa” twits, most of the Jewish element, are applauding the dictatorial measures being employed in Australasia (New Zealand is almost as bad as Australia, though less confrontational).

As I have blogged previously, the ideological unsoundness of the self-described “Left” (I myself avoid the “Left”/”Right” meaninglessness) is shown by their wish to be controlled and ordered about by the State. That is why these people have no political traction. They have no real core belief beyond various “anti” positions.

Note the stated “position” of tweeter “@Oz_UK”: “socialist“…and pro-Corbyn, and his “avatar” is that of a photograph of the girl I call Greta Nut.

People like that do not change the system, let alone lead or take part in revolutions. Their main aim is to see those with whom they think they disagree hurt in some way, by others or by the State apparat. What use is a Royal Navy, a Royal Air Force, a Border Force that cannot stop this invasion of untermenschen by any and all means? Do you say “because the armed services are there to stop Russian invasion“? If so, you are very foolish.

The Russia of today is not the old Soviet Union, and has no ideology that differs much from that of “the West”, beyond a certain nationalistic outlook. My blog

Took a look at the statistics for 2020. So far, tens of thousands of hits from nearly 10,000 individuals. With four full months to go until the end of the year, the number of hits already exceeds the figure for 2019 by about 7%, but the best aspect is that the number of individuals has jumped by 25%. It will be interesting to see the final figures for this year.

The number of “likes” from other WordPress users is also up, but few are ever given (on anyone’s blog) anyway. I had to laugh at the number (as of today) though: 88! True… Is it synchronicity?

Most readers of blogs do not belong to the platform, whether WordPress or other, so the number of “likes” means little. Most blogs get only a few in any given month. Likewise with comments. WordPress blogs are not like social media accounts such as Twitter.

Why does one bother? It is a way of influencing society, even if in a very small way; on the other hand, “one human soul is a big audience“, which I always think was said either by St. Thomas Aquinas or St. Dominic, or maybe even St. Augustine of Hippo, but in fact I have never been able to find the citation.

Who knows who might read my blog and be influenced by it? The next young Alexander? Perhaps a young reader who, after I leave this Earth in my present incarnation, will create the new civilization which I myself, at least so far, have been unable to bring to life and power.

A few “thoughts out of season”

I am 64 years of age in a few days’ time, though I do not —usually!— feel it. Two years until I am 66, in 2022. 2022 can be expressed as a 6 (2+0+2+2), and (by one system of numerology) the number of my name (Ian Robert Millard) is 666, though I should add that I am scarcely a —let alone the—“Beast”!

Like “the stars in their courses“, I “fight on the side of the just” (an ancient Chinese saying).

2022 is the next world-historic year. The last, 33 years before 2022, was 1989, the key year in the collapse of socialism across the world. Socialism did not collapse in one year alone, of course. It had been slowly dying for decades, indeed since the previous year in that 33-year cycle, meaning 1956 (also the year of my own birth).

When I say “socialism” here, I refer to all post-1945 varieties, from the kind of social democratic idea seen in postwar UK, Sweden, New Zealand etc through to the extreme versions seen in the Soviet Union, China, Albania etc. True, China still has and is ruled by the Communist Party, but that party rules over a society completely capitalist. Yes, there are a few unimportant remnants of ruined socialism here and there: Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela (which only became notionally socialist in the 1990s, though there were socialistic elements in Venezuelan society in the 1950s and 1960s). The point is that these countries are exceptions, and poverty-stricken exceptions. The mainstream of the world has moved on from old-style socialism.

After 1989, the Soviet Union ceased to exist as a socialist state, though the Soviet Union continued in name until 1991.

In China, the transition that started in the 1980s intensified, becoming “a new brand of thinking combining socialist ideology with free enterprise, dubbed “socialism with Chinese characteristics” [Wikipedia].

After 1989 and the —superficially— unsuccessful Tiananmen Square protest, “socialism” became a figleaf covering only, just like “aristocracy” has been for a long time in UK society. Deng Xiaoping had said that no-one cared what colour was a cat, so long as it catches mice. That was why socialism had to be superseded, because as an economic model it “does not work”.

Socialism does not work well in the economic sense, but finance-capitalism does not work well socially. Hence the —as yet largely not understood— need for the Threefold Social Order: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.

In the UK, the social democratic idea was fully espoused after the Second World War, certainly from 1956, by all three “main parties” (the two real main parties —Conservative and Labour— and the joke Liberal Party). That consensus (“democratic socialist” Labour, in existence in essence since the late 19thC, and “One Nation” Conservatism, also deriving originally from the late 19thC and Disraeli) broke down in the 1980s.

In the 1990s, the “Conservatives” travelled to a more finance-capitalist, anti-Welfare State position. “Labour” dropped “Clause 4” (which notionally committed the party to widespread nationalization —socialization— of the economy). Within a few years, after 1997, Labour had become completely “cosmopolitan finance-capitalist” under Tony Blair and the Jew Mandelson, who declared that he was “intensely relaxed about people getting filthy rich“.

While the Jew Mandelson held secret meetings with Rothschilds and “Russian” Jew oligarchs in Corfu villas and elsewhere, Attlee and Bevan rotated in their graves, and the remaining “socialist” element in Labour seethed, led by the dissident MP, Jeremy Corbyn.

Despite much talk, the “socialist” Labour element under Corbyn and, before that, Ed Miliband, was unable to struggle successfully against the Zeitgeist. The General Elections of 2015, 2017 and 2019 proved that old-style socialism is dead. That despite public disquiet at the weakening and partial dismantling of the “Welfare State”, mainly under the Conservative Party governments since 2010.

In fact, that weakening of the UK “Welfare State”, though intensified after 2010, had started long before, and was in evidence during the Blair-Brown years 1997-2010. For example, the disgraceful ATOS organization was given its first contracts not by the Conservative Party governments (2010, 2015, 2017 and 2019), but by the Labour governments of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown (1997, 2001, 2005, 2007): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atos#Atos_Healthcare.

People in the UK tend to think that policy is made by individual governments, when in fact there has always been a “deep state” element underneath, carried on in secret, or in semi-secrecy. The influence of, inter alia, freemasonry, Common Purpose, the Jew-Zionist element, the Bilderberg element etc are all part of that. Look at Welfare State policy since, say, 1997. There have been differences between and within parties, but the main themes continued beneath the surface chatter.

As we move to the next significant year, 2022, we see that neither old-style socialism/social democracy nor finance-capitalism satisfies the needs of the people.

A new movement is required, both in the sense of a “party” or political organization, and in the sense of a movement in —and of— society.

I found this graphic from 2018, not seen for quite a while. It was produced by the Jew-Zionist (and misnamed) “Hope Not Hate” crowd. It shows those who met (in my case, once, at a clifftop cafe, because someone thought reliable had asked me) a young Swede whose real name is said to be Patrik Hermansson, and who posed in 2017 as a Swedish student called Erik Hellberg. Personally, I think that “The Rat” suits him better, but that’s just me…

It will be noted that I was placed, as if a denizen of a contemporary “Inferno“, in the circle of the “holocaust” “deniers” [bottom right of the graphic].

I tend to be rather anti-social both in the ordinary meaning and politically. I do not mix much, in fact scarcely at all. For all that, I can see that political life has moved on in the intervening <2 years.

Some people have become more prominent (Alison Chabloz for one), others have retreated from the limelight: Jez Turner, Stead Steadman, Colin Robertson (“Millennial Woes”) etc. The London Forum is inactive. The “alt-Right” in the USA (as far as I can tell —I do not keep up with all that in detail) has developed a sharper edge, it seems.

The graphic does not of course purport to be a comprehensive map of the “nationalist” side of UK/US politics. As for the work of “The Rat”, he was wasting his time. His paymasters at “Hope Not Hate” eventually produced a film, but it sank like a stone. I think (not sure) that it did get a screening on Channel 4 or Channel 5 around midnight one evening, and the same in Belgium and Sweden. I myself cannot recall seeing it.

The most interesting aspect of that graphic is what is not there: “lone wolves” in the UK and elsewhere, German rural-sanctuary nationalists and national socialists, those setting up a mini-ethnostate in the Pacific North West of the USA etc.

Sounds like she is the sort of person who gets into highly paid positions (eg at Talk Talk, where she was paid millions for failure) because of whom she knows rather than what she knows (or does). “Eat out to help out”

Indian “clever boy”, Rishi Sunak, who was briefly touted as a future UK Prime Minister when he started throwing money around to ameliorate the effects of his own government’s policies, established the “eat out to help out” programme. 50% off, up to £10 a head, I believe. Well, I just heard anecdotal evidence:

A lady I know went to a seaside cafe/restaurant one morning recently. Her purchase was modest, a single cup of coffee. When she went to pay (£2.20), she was told that she only had to pay £1.10 because of that scheme. A woman also waiting to pay then chimed in to the effect that her family now dined out three times a week because it made eating out almost as cheap as eating in.

Well, that lady whose family use restaurants three times a week and get a discount for it may enjoy the scheme, but the whole thing is being paid for by the public as a whole; by the poor too, who may not pay much in income tax but who certainly pay VAT and, if employed, National Insurance.

Why should the people as a whole pay to subsidize the cafe visits and restaurant excursions of the rich, the affluent and the comfortably-off? Like so many government policies now, there is just no logic and no justice behind it.

So it begins…

I agree with Hitchens, as I mostly have in the past few months of Government-created chaos, muddle, and approaching economic collapse.

The tweeter above is referring to Rishi Sunak https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rishi_Sunak , the Indian whom Boris-idiot made Chancellor, and who the shallow msm and Twitter mob lauded as a financial (and political) genius a couple of months ago for having introduced the “furlough” scheme, via which the obligations of companies to pay their employees were in effect transferred to the State which then shut down much of the economy.

A few (including me, Hitchens etc) saw through this scheme as a disastrous and ultimately pointless waste of resources which, combined with the shutdown (“lockdown”) would destroy the UK economy.

The msm and Twitter mob thought otherwise. “Rishi Sunak for PM!” was the cry. What a brilliant man, to throw away £8 billion (maybe £11 billion) a month “supporting [workers, families] etc”… Surely such a man must eventually become Prime Minister?

Well, I doubt it (even leaving aside his origins). The “furlough” plan in fact did not simply keep employees financially warm until “lockdown” ends, at which time, in Sunak’s own mis-chosen words, the economy will “bounce back” in a V-shaped “recovery”.

At the time, I blogged that, because this virus “crisis” (made much worse by governmental panic in the UK, EU and elsewhere) has led to economic slowdown, crucially to collapse in demand internationally, the result will be, certainly in the UK, not a “V-shaped recovery” but an “L-shaped non-recovery”.

Sunak may have ridden high in public opinion for a couple of months, but I do not see him prospering politically after at least many wake up to what is really happening. Any fool can throw golden sesterces to the plebs from his imperial chariot. For a while…

Sunak alone is not to blame for the “lockdown” and so not to blame for the coming recession (which may even become a depression), but he is to blame for being part of a Cabinet of fools that shut down the economy for months unnecessarily, and for both introducing and now extending a misconceived “pay workers £2,500 a month not to work and not to complain or protest” scheme.

Also, for going along with his foolish and incompetent Government’s strategy of scaring the British people (and other UK inhabitants) out of their collective skin, so that many are now too frightened (or anyway simply unwilling) to return to what was normal life.

The reason behind the extension to October (without even any reduction) in the “furlough” payments, is plainly political, to prevent or make far less likely any protest or worse from the “furloughed” employees.

However, the real state of the pre-Coronavirus UK economy, now that the froth of low-paid McJobs (“gig economy,” fake “self-employment”, zero hours contracts, and other poorly-paid exploitation disguised by, formerly, Working Tax Credits etc, and now by Universal Credit payments) has been swept into the bin, is becoming plain to see. Desolate.

As for that sacred cow of British people, house prices, the values are dropping like a stone, as I predicted. Already we see that buyers are demanding discounts of up to 20%. Before long, that will be 50% or more. Lending is unlikely to be easily-available from now on, and there will be fewer people buying. and with lower capital available, whether their own or via mortgage monies. People will still want or have to move house, but will have less money with which to do so. Result— lower house prices at all levels.

Collapsing economy

Companies are shedding workers by the hundred, by the thousand, now. Some companies are giving up the ghost entirely, such as the once-famous Antler suitcases (est. 1914), which went yesterday, with the closure of 18 stores and the sacking of the entire workforce of 200 staff. Other companies laid off thousands on the same day.

Today, we see that Rolls-Royce in Derby will lay off 9,000 workers across the world, and most of the losses will be in Derby itself.

When the “lockdown” nonsense —and with it the “furlough” scheme— ends, in the Autumn, supposedly, there will be company collapses on a scale not seen since the 1930s, very likely.

In reality, there is no “right wing” (I am supposing that that tweeter means “social nationalist”, or just “nationalist”) “terrorism” in the UK. Am I wrong? So where is it? Where?

Social nationalism from Autumn 2020

The coming few years could finally see social nationalism emerge victorious in the UK, but that can only happen if there is a co-ordinated movement led by a “vanguard” party. One does not now exist. The small groups which do exist have little or no credibility.

Looking down the road, we can now see that economic collapse in a decadent society opens the way for us. It is only two years now until 2022, the most significant year since 1989 (on the 33-year cycle). 2022-1989-1956 (the year of my own birth)-1923.

For me personally, 2022 will probably be the last marker-year in the 33-year cycle that I see in my present incarnation, because in 2022 I shall reach the age of 66.
