In the UK you have innumerable clowns who stand by the letter of the law and say that no cross-Channel migrant-invaders are “illegal”, so long as they utter the magic word “asylum“…

Even the most “moderate” people are now angry at what has in fact been happening for about 70 years but which is now an obvious existential threat, impossible to ignore, to the future of every single British person and their descendants.

The UK is dividing between those (including even quite a few of non-European descent) who wish for this country to remain fundamentally European in all ways, and those who —either maliciously, or ignorantly— do not want that, or who are stupid enough not to care and who do not think it important.

Goebbels was right, most of the time and, on these issues, Suella Braverman is correct too. That does not mean that I want her to hold power, or that I see much difference in the way in which both main System parties are following the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan or agenda.

As for tweeter “Simon Forrest”, his Twitter/”X” tweets reveal a socio-political crank, at least on questions of race and culture.

The Conservative Party Conference 2023. Hard to believe, for anyone who remembers the same convention in the 1970s, 1980s, even 1990s.

Do they support those areas having high fences around them?…

Out of 5 or 6 polling organizations, the highest Labour mark at present is 47%, the lowest 43%; the highest Con mark is 30%, the lowest 24%. LibDems are in the 9%-13% area.

Those figures could give a Labour Party majority of anywhere between 120 and 322 seats, according to Electoral Calculus: see https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html.

One usually expects a narrowing of the polls prior to a General Election, and there is still maybe as long as 14 months to go before the 2024 General Election, but there is no sign of Con Party revival so far. In fact, the empty conference hall at Manchester is symbolic of what is happening in the country. Even dyed-in-the-wool Conservative voters are deserting, I believe. They are not going to Labour, most of them, but are either going to protest-vote via Reform Party or the LibDems, or simply abstain.

As for Con Party MPs, many are deserting the sinking ship. There is no unity. Even Suella Braverman’s attempt to capture the populist vote has foundered. Useless former Home Secretary (and Israeli agent of influence) Priti Patel has criticized Suella Braverman, as has the Indian money-juggler himself (Sunak).

At the moment, it looks as if Labour will win a huge victory by default. That might change, but how?

“There was once a time when being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes was a death sentence. The ancient Egyptians first described the disease more than 3,000 years ago. During the many centuries that followed, parents would helplessly watch as their diabetic children slipped into comas and died.

I have to admit that, were I in their position, I might have kept the patent for my lifetime, and used the proceeds for my own humanitarian and conservation projects. They decided otherwise, as did another brilliant person, Tim Berners-Lee, the main force behind the World Wide Web.

HS2 should never have been approved. There were and are so many better uses for funding on that scale, even within the transport sector itself.

If not confronted at sea, they will have to be confronted later on land, in Rome, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Stockholm, or London.

The idea that attending a “university” (whether an ancient one or a 5-minute-old “McUniversity”) makes the attendee “highly-educated” is risible, looking at most of the graduates, let alone undergraduates.

What strikes me is how few delegates and visitors there are. Only the central part of the hall full. Would assess it as no more than 500 people. Not many, considering that the Conservative Party has 357 MPs.

Reverting to his energy price theme, he writes (I have highlighted the key fact):

I agree with his first sentence, and have been —probably pointlessly— blogging (for 5 years) and tweeting (until the Jew fanatics had me expelled from Twitter in 2018) about how the UK should be getting closer to Russia and, indeed, leaving NATO in return for, (among many advantages) getting cheap or even (it is possible) near-free gas from Russia, which would solve our energy problem overnight.

Instead of which, “Boris”-idiot, and now the stupid Liz Truss “ho”, have been giving billions in various ways to the Jew dictatorship in Kiev, and even threatening Russia with nuclear attack via “our” (controlled in reality by the USA) Trident nuclear submarines.

In fact, that Spectator article is worth reading in full. Ashworth-Hayes concludes by looking at the wider background:

“Part of the problem is that the Conservative party is just the Labour party on a five-year lag; once Starmer suggested freezing prices, the blue team were inevitably going to follow along at some point. But a bigger problem is that the Tories are increasingly the party of the non-working and economically inactive.

The Tory vote is old. Pensioners donโ€™t work and donโ€™t pay much in taxes. They certainly donโ€™t benefit from investments that pay off 20 years down the line. Theyโ€™re very happy to rack up massive bills in the present day and pass them off to their grandchildren. And they vote in massive numbers.

This gives Conservative politicians strong incentives to find ways to take from the young and the future to give to the old and the present-day. It is toxic in the long term โ€“ we have a dysfunctional housing market, twisted to prop up pensioner assets, and high taxes to fund pensioner healthcare and pensions that are destroying family formation and living standards among young people. This is the only way the current Conservative party can see itself clinging on to power. Changing the prime minister isnโ€™t enough to change that.“

Well, there is much truth in all that, and if the “grey vote” wakes up to the fact that Liz Truss —albeit in 1995, aged 20, so be it— suggested scrapping the State Pension entirely, then the Con Party will rapidly pass into history.

The one demographic that votes Con heavily and actually votes is the (mainly) English “grey vote”, however defined (I am really talking about the 60+ age group). If that goes, the Conservative Party also goes.

“Well-regarded“? That idiot who, after a few too many glasses of whisky, shouted out that the Scottish regiments had beaten Russia in the Crimean War (according to him) and so the British Army could beat Russia today. 170 years later.

Britain has 60-200 nuclear weapons and a land area of 93,600 square miles. Russia has about 6,000 nuclear weapons and a land area of 6,601,000 square miles (about 71 times the size of the UK).

As to the “conference”, looks as though only a few dozen people are bothering to do more than drink in bars.

Is there anything the Jews will not complain about? The fact is that Schindler’s Ark, the novel (yes, novel) on which the film Schindler’s List was based, is a work of fiction: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schindler%27s_Ark. The fact that Jews have “edited” the Wikipedia entry for Schindler’s List, the film of the book, to refer to the book as a “non-fiction novel” is meaningless, as is that term itself, the more usual term being “faction”.

The famous “faction” novel by Frederick Forsyth, The Day of the Jackal, is not “non-fiction” just because a few characters in it (eg President de Gaulle) actually existed. The book is still basically fiction; so is Schindler’s Ark and the film based on it.

As a matter of fact, Schindler’s Ark was not even written by someone who experienced Germany or Poland during WW2; it was written by an Australian, Thomas Keneally, who, at the material time, was 5-10 years old and who only left Australia for the first time in 1968. Schindler’s Ark was written and published in 1982. Keneally seems to have visited Poland in or about 1980, not long before the novel was published.

This England

Saw the first episode of This England, following the pretty disastrous tenure, as Prime Minister, of “Boris” Johnson.

It kept the interest. The casting was remarkably good, headed by a performance by Kenneth Branagh that was amazingly like the real “Boris”, to look at. Other leading characters were also well-portrayed.

I felt that it could have been harder-hitting in some areas. Still, good overall.

If escalation continues, there will eventually be a strategic nuclear exchange between NATO/NWO and Russia, after which anything could happen.

Spitting Image

Younger readers of my blog will not recall Spitting Image, the satirical puppet show broadcast last in 1996 (apparently, there is a now a new version on pay-TV): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spitting_Image.

The show was wildly popular in the late 1980s Thatcher period and, later, during the time of the John Major government. Politicians and other international figures were cuttingly, even cruelly, mocked: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spitting_Image#International_politicians.

I just saw this amusing take-off of the UK television quiz show, Mastermind [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastermind_(British_game_show)], satirizing the Israeli Prime Minister and former anti-British terrorist, Shamir [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yitzhak_Shamir]:

Needless to say, in the Britain of 2021, where the political field is completely ruled by Jewish/Zionist interests, such a show could never be broadcast. The Jewish pressure groups such as the very small but well-funded “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] would be on the case at once, whining about “antisemitism” and “race hate” etc.

Similar whining probably did occur even 30+ years ago, but the UK’s political, legal, and law-enforcement milieux were less “infested” then. Also, “they” had not managed to have Parliament pass bad and repressive laws against freedom of expression, such as Communications Act 2003, s.127.

Spitting Image was at least as cutting at times as the more recent cartoons and songs of Alison Chabloz, for which she has been serially prosecuted over the past 3 years, though her several months of imprisonment just recently were triggered not by satire but simply by her participation in an Internet “radio” podcast discussion. A sign of the times.

I notice that some replies to the above tweet make similar points:

Whatever the rights and wrongs of whatever happened on that day in 1974, the fact is that that was 47 years ago. My view is slightly different: assess students. Give the top 10% full grants to cover both tuition and living expenses. Give partial grants (maybe tuition only) to the next 20%. It will be noted that among the names on the above list is that of Therese Coffey MP [Con, Suffolk Coastal], recently appointed as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. The role has been held by deadheads before, idiots such as Iain Dunce Duncan Smith and Esther McVey.

So who is Therese Coffey?

Therese Coffey was born in Lancashire, to parents about whom neither Wikipedia nor her own website say anything at all. She was brought up in Liverpool, according to Wikipedia, which however says that she was at school both at St. Mary’s College, in the small North Wales town of Rhos-on-Sea, and at St. Edward’s College, Liverpool. Both were at the time private Roman Catholic schools. Coffey is a name of Irish origin.

Therese Coffey was awarded a B.A. degree by Oxford University (subject unknown), she having gone up to Somerville College; then (oddly, on the face of it) she acquired a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UCL. Therese Coffey is often referred to as “Dr” Therese Coffey.

In England (though not in some other countries, notably Germany) it has always been considered infra dig to use the title “Doctor” unless one is either a medical doctor or some sort of working academic, scientist or clergyman. Unfortunately, there has fairly recently developed in the UK a strange affectation, of people insisting on referring to themselves as “Dr” when all they have is a doctorate in something (other than whatever they do professionally or whatever). So we have “Dr” Julian Lewis MP [Con, New Forest East], who holds a doctorate (D.Phil) in Strategic Studies. Another is “Dr” Louise Raw, “antifa” type prolific on Twitter, who holds a Ph.D. and whose special subject is one particular industrial strike in 1888. Now we also have “Dr” Therese Coffey.

Therese Coffey was awarded her doctorate in chemistry in 1998, at the age of 28. Her own website says that she was at one time a “management accountant”. She worked for Mars, the confectionery company, and for a subsidiary of the same, at which latter she was apparently Finance Director. She also did some work for the BBC. I think that we can assume that Therese Coffey’s non-political career was far from stellar.

Therese Coffey failed to become a Conservative MEP at the EU elections of both 2004 and 2009. She was, however, selected for the Conservative candidature at Suffolk Coastal (despite having been born and brought up in the North West of England, later living in Andover, Hampshire and having no obvious connection with Suffolk or East Anglia).

The expenses claimed by Therese Coffey in her first 6 months as MP were more than double those claimed by MPs in some other nearby seats. She seems to have kept her house and flat in Hampshire, which (it has been said of at least one) are being let.

Therese Coffey was one of the 72 MPs (almost all Conservatives) who both have an income of over ยฃ10,000 p.a. from rental property and voted out a bill requiring landlords to ensure that their properties were fit for human habitation! In other words, Therese Coffey is a parasite.

Therese Coffey voted to sell off woodland and forests in public ownership to private interests (the bill was dropped after a huge public outcry).

Therese Coffey has written a position paper recommending that pensioners pay National Insurance. She is a member of the extreme Free Enterprise Group within the Conservative Party.

Therese Coffey has been in favour of both Rupert Murdoch and gambling interests in the past.

Therese Coffey has from time to time bunged her own sister some money out of Parliamentary expenses for work (presumably) done.

Therese Coffey likes a “rock band” called Muse, it seems. I had never heard of them until now. Her interest in rock music seems bizarre, looking at her photographs and thinking of what can be gleaned of her personality (not very much). She certainly looks more like Patricia Routledge’s portrayal of the retirement-age Lancastrian private eye, Hetty Wainthropp, in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates. However, Ms. Coffey’s liking for real ale (she is a member of CAMRA) is rather plausible. In fact, Ms. Coffey is only 47 years old, surprisingly, she having been born in November 1971.

I would have assumed that Therese Coffey is a lesbian, looking at this tank-like, Guinness-drinking, cigar-smoking person who likes football, but there is nothing I have found on the Internet to support such a conclusion directly; and she voted against “gay marriage” (and in that alone I support her, inasmuch as I feel that “civil partnership” provided whatever socio-legal comfort was necessary to deal with the inadequacies of the English law as it was in the previous century).

What disturbs me most about Therese Coffey is not so much what she has said, written and done, though that is bad enough, but what I have not seen from her: I have seen no intellectual curiosity that goes outside the box, for example any discussion of the need for Basic Income; neither have I seen anything else of intellectual interest from her. Admittedly, I have only been looking since her elevation to Cabinet (she was only a non-Cabinet minister earlier in 2019, and before that only one of the Conservative whips, traditionally a role for plodders…). If my view changes, I shall update this article, being by nature fair and just.

Therese Coffey may be the Cabinet minister with the lowest public profile. She is unknown to the general public. How long she will remain in Cabinet, I have no idea. If Boris-Idiot falls, “not long” is my guess. It may be thought unfair to dub someone with qualifications in both chemistry and accountancy a “deadhead”, but from the socio-political point of view I think that she well merits it. At any rate, as MP she is not going away, in that Suffolk Coastal is one of the safest Conservative seats.

Well, whether you call it “the irony of fate”, a concatenation of unexpected events, or just madness, Therese Coffey has not only survived the fall of “Boris”-idiot, and stayed in Cabinet, but has been effectively promoted to two new positions— Secretary of State for Health, and Deputy Prime Minister.

It seems that —unknown to me until today— Therese Coffey and the —it seems strange to use the words— new Prime Minister, Liz Truss, are rather friendly. I suppose that, in that snake pit, Liz Truss would rather have a few friends around her rather than potential backstabbers who might, however, actually be competent at the jobs occupied.
