As previously blogged, I remain surprised at how poor has been both Iranian air defence and Iranian public protection from aerial attack.
Makes me wonder whether that was just negligence (made worse by the fatalistic and backward influence of Islam) or whether there has been some treachery and/or sabotage within the Iranian leadership.

Russia (Putin) is being very quiet, silently counting its financial and diplomatic gains as the West generally immolates the US/UK/EU/Brit economy under Israeli/Jew influence.
Russia’s gains from the oil/gas price rises will be huge, fuelling and funding its Ukrainian military operation and much else.
“They” destroy any country that harbours them.
That has little effect on the war. For one thing, vessels in the Strait of Hormuz can be hit by land-based missiles and drones, or by weapons launched from ships and gunboats.

Only a day or so ago, Trump and his idiots were saying that the Iranian navy had been destroyed and so the Strait of Hormuz was safe for transit.

Incidentally, Britain does not need to be “war ready” in any case, unless the reference is to the upcoming civil war/social war/racial war. Russia is not Britain’s enemy, and Iran is also not Britain’s enemy. We may not like the backward aspects of Iranian society, but that has nothing to do with us, unless lots of them start coming here from Iran, many thousands of miles away.
Time will tell, and it may be unexpected, for all “their” plans and plots.

The Green Party is somewhere between loonie and underwhelming but, like equally unimpressive Reform UK, it is gaining traction because most of the public now hate and despise both Labour and Conservative parties.
Why on Earth should the UK bomb Iran? No good reason at all. The only answer is “because the Israeli/Jewish lobby in the UK has managed to take over much of the political set-up here, as well as TV, radio, the Press, and much of the legal world as well.”
Look at the tweets being put out by most UK-based scribblers and talking heads, Dan Hodges being one of the most aggressive. Straight-out pro-Israel propaganda.
We have no “war aims“, because the UK is not at war, has no reason to go to war with Iran, and no, the supposed making of a hole in the side of a shed or hangar on the RAF base at Akrotiri in Cyprus is not of sufficient importance (even if Iran did it, which I doubt) to launch yet another doomed Brit military misadventure.
