[Petrograd, March (new style) 1917]

Today marks the 109th anniversary of the Bolshevik seizure of power in October (old style) 1917, arguably the most significant single event in the Europe of the 20thC.

Saturday quiz

Well, this week 5/10, thus trumping the 3/10 scored by political journalist John Rentoul. I knew the answers to questions 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10. I just missed getting the answer to question 8 as well but, in the old saying, “a miss is as good as a mile“…

Ridiculous Andy Burnham is continuing with the “we stand with Ukraine” nonsense, funnelling money to the Kiev regime dictatorship while Britain sinks under inflationary pressure. Unsurprising. He is just another performing monkey, not an organ-grinder.

Talking point

From my old Twitter account. A pack of Jews conspired to have me expelled from Twitter, which happened in 2018. Ironically, the expulsion meant that I was saved from yet another politically-motivated prosecution, as happened later (in 2023-2024). The Jewish lobby shot itself in the foot…

A few of my old tweets are still extant, in the Twitter/X timelines of Jew-Zionist trolls.

Another old tweet:

Still true, perhaps more obviously so in the circumstances of 2026.

[“Powerful explosions in Riyadh and an urgent warning from the United States

A second wave of powerful explosions rocked the capital of Saudi Arabia this morning. At the same time, the United States warned its citizens in the kingdom about the possibility of “large-scale and significant attacks” in the coming hours.

A representative of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia, confirming the rocket attack on Riyadh, stated that one of the missiles was intercepted. Earlier, he also reported an airstrike on Riyadh and the interception of a drone.“]

Ha.

I hope that the easily-misled American public understand which (((element))) is instigating this war (and most of the others)…

“Memories may differ”.

Leaving that aside, there is a lot of nonsense talked about WW2 rationing.

Recent studies drawing upon contemporaneous records etc have shown that, for about a third of the population of the UK, they were actually better-fed during wartime rationing than they had been in the 1930s.

Quite a few food items were not rationed at all, including fish (and seafood generally), though availability was a problem; potato; carrot; parsnip; bread (only rationed after the end of the war); game, including game birds and rabbits; honey; fresh fruit grown in the UK (however, often unobtainable in shops); and booze (though only beer and cider were widely available, and not always so).

Naturally, those best-off were farmers and growers, especially the larger country landowners who would have had game (rabbits, deer, freshwater fish such as trout), unrationed chickens (and so, eggs, which were also otherwise rationed), other domestic or wild fowl (duck, geese etc).

Such people would also have had kitchen gardens and glasshouses in which to grow food; also orchards etc. They might well also have had cellars containing —otherwise almost unobtainable— wine.

Furthermore, such fairly or very affluent people would also very likely have had stocks of tinned food (fish, meat, vegetables) stockpiled since the late 1930s (as recommended, inter alia, by famous author and journalist Dennis Wheatley, in his late 1930s newspaper columns).

[“My medical licence was suspended in November 2025. For 15 months. As a result of my advocacy for Palestine. At the behest of the UK pro-‘israel’ and zionist jewish lobby. Today, I had my second six-monthly review with the @gmcuk and @the_mpts.

For my submission, covering any updates since the last review in May 2026, I told the panel:

– 4,797 Palestinians have since been murdered by the jewish occupation in Gaza. 1,490 of them were children. That is 31%.

-Bombing and massacres occur daily. – Palestinians continue to be held hostage, kidnapped, and tortured. – ‘israel’ continues with impunity, without justice for the Palestinians or the British citizens they massacred.

The GMC counsel described me as ‘unrepentant’ in my social media activity, giving this as one reason to continue my suspension. I affirmed that I am indeed unrepentant in speaking out against the genocide and the system of supremacy that the UK government continues to fund and arm. That is anchored in my belief in the sanctity of life and the belief that God created all humans equally.

The suspension continues, of course. The GMC will have to apply to the High Court in February if they want to extend it further.

I miss my job and career. I miss practising medicine, caring for patients and the British people. My words, spoken or shared, were against their crimes. Their barbarity. To be unrepentant in this is my duty as a human, a Muslim, and a doctor. Free Palestine and Britain from zionism.”]
