As Katie Hopkins puts it, “Batshit Bonkers Britain“…
Increasingly, I can agree with the idea of England, or England & Wales, becoming a separate republic. Let those north of Hadrian’s Wall, and those across the Irish Sea, go their own way (without the subsidy from England), particularly as many of the Scots seem, in their delusion, to not only be willing to accept migration-invasion by blacks and browns but even (ludicrously) to welcome it! I certainly see little or no serious Scottish opposition to the invasion, even at the low level of opposition so far seen on the streets of England.
[“I’m hearing language like ‘we have to be prepared for a b******’, that’s Donald Trump, ‘to do mad things’”. @Nicholaswatt says there’s concern among both Labour and Conservative MPs over the US President’s approach to Ukraine and global diplomacy. #Newsnight“].
Ha ha. For decades, certainly since Blair became Prime Minister in 1997, the UK has been the poodle of the ZOG/NWO American governments. Now, suddenly, the USA is going its own way, in a direction NWO/ZOG, at least in Europe, does not like. Suddenly, Europe, both EU and UK etc, finds itself almost powerless, and squashed (as was mainland Europe in 1945) between the (?) all-powerful USA and a somewhat powerful Russia.
I should like Europe to find its own way forward in a social-national way, independent of both USA and Russia (but closer to the latter) but, at present, Europe is under ZOG control— pro-Jewish Lobby, pro-Israel, pro the Jew-Zionist regime in “Ukraine”. The present European power structures have to be taken down before a better Europe (call it “Christendom” or “Grail Europe” if you like) can arise.
Funny-looking creature, that Rennie journalist. Had not previously heard of him. Turns out that his father was the Rennie who was the Chief of SIS/MI6 from 1967-1973: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Rennie_(columnist); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Rennie_(MI6_officer).
Rennie senior’s other, and elder, son was arrested, charged, prosecuted and (presumably; nothing online about it) convicted of a large-scale heroin importation conspiracy in 1973: https://time.com/archive/6840716/britain-cs-busted-cover/.
Charles Tatham Ogilvy Rennie was later adjudged bankrupt (discharged in 1978).
As for the Economist, one of the most important “house journals” of the New World Order conspiracy (despite the fact that the Economist is usually wrong in its predictions, a fact that I started to notice as early as the 1980s).
Further to above:
“Only in rare instances have the links between the Hong Kong opium firms, British intelligence, and the Chinese Communist Intelligence Service come to public light. Where they have, the results put the best pulp thrillers to shame. One illustration is the story of the luckless Rennie family, Scots traders who sold their operation to Jardine Matheson in 1975. The Rennies are old Africa and Asia hands both in merchant ventures and the British colonial service, with major operations in South Africa, through Rennies Consolidated Holdings Ltd. (7).”

Annoying
I have mentioned this before, though long ago, on the blog. There is a tweeter with the same or similar name to me, and who tweets as “@IanMillard100”. I understand that he is an IT specialist resident in Bath.
It is of course not his fault that he has the same name as me and that he tweets (I myself have not tweeted since expelled from Twitter in 2018), but I find it slightly irritating, simply because some people may think that he is me and that his tweets are from me. He occasionally replies to tweets from Elon Musk etc.
Anyway, if any readers were wondering whether “@IanMillard100” is me, he is not me. Over and out.

A now-deceased friend of mine who, as a young girl from a prominent East Prussian —i.e. German— aristocratic family, was a hostage in the Soviet Union from 1939-1942, used to recall that song from her time there. She was at first under NKVD detention, later and briefly a worker on a state farm —not a collective farm— and later still a student nurse —aged about 14-15— before managing to escape by mingling with the Anders Army families allowed to get out of the country: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders%27_Army.

[“Lavrov: “If European troops enter Ukraine, this won’t be a proxy war anymore. It’ll be NATO fighting Russia directly”]
Do the little men and women pretending to statesmanship —Starmer, Macron, Tusk, Ursula von der Leyen etc— understand what that might mean? Tactical and possibly strategic weapons, Russian weapons, being used against the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Belgium etc. Yes, there would be damage to Russia too, but let’s not pretend that NATO (without US involvement) can take on Russia and “win”, or even survive.
The USA under Trump is not going to back up the UK and EU states if they get into a shooting war with Russia.
Indeed, the belligerent calls from Brussels, Berlin, Warsaw, Paris, and London for fast rearmament, and especially nuclear weapons increases, are likely to make Russian strategists think that those capitals, and connected nuclear weapons production and launch sites, should be eliminated before such proposed nuclear rearmament takes place…
Forget “Tommy”. Time for real social nationalism.

The Speaker of the House of Commons is invariably a self-important and greedy nobody. This one is no different to his predecessors. Remember the Jew Bercow and his “ho” wife? Then there was Deputy Speaker Nigel Evans. I wrote a blog piece about him in 2019:

If he had any self-awareness, he might consider whether it would not have been far better had Britain and its Empire stayed neutral in the period 1939-1945, or even joined with the German Reich to rule much of the world. The world would have been in a far better condition had that happened.

Russia can do that because its ultimate security and sanction rests on its vast geographic size, its large population, its large armies and other forces and, crucially, on 6,000-7,000 nuclear weapons.
Late music

Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent.
When I had a Summer job age 15/16, we had a fanatical Catholic female staff member. She was a nasty and very unChristian woman. I was warned very early on never to upset her.
On Ash Wednesday I was pre warned that she would be coming to work with black ashes on her forehead and not to comment. How strange I found that, I had never seen such a thing.
Sure enough she wore her usual angry face, with the addition of black ashes. I was slightly amused. Every week she would come into my office with raffle tickets for the church draw, I was advised it was wise to buy some, just to keep the peace. Strange to me that the church promoted gambling.
Anyway, this peace of music is beautiful

Hello Ian,
Could I ask you a question, not advice, an open question which your expertise could answer.
Is it possible to take a small claims legal action (in Scotland a Simple Procedure) against a local government office, or, has one to take action against a named person?
Thanks in advance
Ross

Obviously, anything I say may be out of date after c.17 years; I do not much keep up with changes in the law.
Secondly, I know little of Scottish law, which of course often differs from that of England and Wales.
However, speaking generally, in England, as claimant you would normally take action against the local authority and not an individual (unless there are circumstances that might make a local government employee personally liable, such as actions going outside the scope of his/her normal course of employment).
As far as *councillors* are concerned:
“At the present time councillors may incur personal liability, or have to defend themselves where allegations are made that: a) They acted outside the powers of the authority b) They acted in bad faith, or fraudulently or out of malice. c) Their actions constitute a criminal offence.”
[local authority web page]
You give no details as to the nature of the claim, but I am *assuming* that it is a *money* claim of up to £10,000.
If it is worth more than £10,000, or is a different sort of claim (e.g. disputing that a council decision is lawful or reasonable) then the claim will not be dealt with as a County Court small claim but rather under the Fast Track or Multitrack regimes in the County Court; or, perhaps even in the High Court, which is different again.
*If* the claim is a <£10,000 small claim, there is now an online method of making claim (which did not exist when I was at the Bar):
https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/money-claim-online-user-guide
I hope that that is of some use, anyway.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I would say the third paragraph answers my question.
The basics of my claim is against Universal Credit which deals with sickness and disabilty benefits.
As I wrote in a post on 26th Feb I became very ill last summer and although the company I work for are very good payers they have a poor sickness scheme, thus, I took advice and applied to Universal Credit for disabilty payments. Through dealing with their unprofessional prevarications, obfuscations and downright lies I have missed out on months of payments which has landed me in some serious debt, whereas I was in good credit before this. So, now after using every other means, I am taking them to court to recompense me.

In that case, your claim would seem to be against the DWP (centrally) rather than against the particular local office that handled your matter.
Believe me, I have seen in years past (as closely-involved observer and helper, not as claimant) how totally shambolic the whole DWP (and connected set-up) is.
Incredible, in a sense, that “Rachel from Accounts” Reeves is now copying the mistakes and nastiness of Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, the Jew “Lord” Freud, Esther McVey etc.
I read today, 1,000 “work coaches” (bullying office bods) to get the sick and disabled off benefits and into (almost non-existent) jobs. 1,000 drones getting (?) £40,000 p.a., plus NI plus pension entitlements etc, must add up to about £50 million a year at least (plus office space etc).
Looks like Rachel from Accounts needs to brush up her basic economics…
I do not exactly *like* being a “pensioner” (now 68 y o) but at least I do not have to jump through hoops to satisfy some semi-educated DWP goons.

Ian,
Yes, it looks like I have to deal with DWP.
As an engineer I’ve not had a lot of dealings with this kind of Bureaucracy. I’m learning the hard way, document everything.
And, yes, it seems it is only going to get worse with this type of political landscape. Money going out to illegal immigrants, no questions asked, money going overseas to Israel, Ukraine etc. Whereas folk like me who have worked and input to society for 40 years have to beg and sit and roll over for morsels like a wee puppy dog. Well, this dog has had enough and is about to bite.
Thanks for answering my question
Cheers Ross

Hello: Just a question: How can we be sure that those videos showing night clubs and some tarts partying are from Ukraine? I am a bit suspicious because there have been a lot of fake videos which supposedly show Russians or Ukrainians behaving badly. In fact, how badly has Kiev been bombed since the war started? According to this video made by a young Ukrainian woman, it looks great and nobody would believe is the capital of a country at war. What do you think?
PS: If this is true, I am glad because I hate the unnecesary and cruel bombardment of cities and the killing of innocent civilians.

I have no reason to doubt the videos shown; I concede, though, that the locations shown probably could be anywhere.
I agree with and share your distaste for cruelty or brutality happening in war to “innocent” civilians, and innocent animals too.
Kiev has not been badly attacked, overall, certainly not since early 2022. There have been some attacks on the capital, mostly on electricity installations and some factories, but there have been relatively few hits on residential buildings; there have been some, unfortunately.
Of course, Kiev is a large city, perhaps (depending on definition of city boundaries, and on where Europe ends) the 7th-largest in Europe; the pre-war population was 3 million, though it may now be around 2.5 million or even fewer.

I think that the Kiev regime controls TV filming strictly. The truth is more likely to come out in personal camera/phone filming.

Have you heard of this fellow? It is very strange, in an age when almost any “nobody” has a page in Wikipedia (celebrities and trash like that…) this man, David Betz, has none. I could only find out that he is/was professor at the King´s College of London
