If I am not mistaken, I have been to Marken, taken there by Dutch friends from North Amsterdam in the early 1980s. I believe it is only a few miles from Noord-Amsterdam.

On LBC radio this morning they said Trump had released a statement last night, to the effect that “Iran’s navy is at the bottom of the sea, their airforce is no more and all military personnel must come out of Tehran holding white flags of surrender”.
