According to Sam Coates, Burnham is at “peak popularity” because he managed, with the help of a massive Labour and msm campaign, to persuade half of the Makerfield voters who bothered to vote, to vote for him. Is that his peak popularity, the votes of 25,000 residents of a Mancunian suburb?
That cannot be extrapolated to the rest of the country.
