According to Sam Coates, Burnham is at “peak popularity” because he managed, with the help of a massive Labour and sympathetic-msm campaign, to persuade half of the Makerfield voters who even bothered to vote (less than 60% of those eligible bothered to vote) to vote for him. Is that his supposed peak popularity, the votes of 25,000 residents of a Mancunian suburb?
That cannot be extrapolated to the rest of the country.

Looks like Burnham might seriously dent the Green Party vote, though. That might make it possible for Labour to retain Starmer’s seat at Holborn and St. Pancras, which will soon become the scene of another by-election. The Greens will be the main challengers there.

Promised to “work for the British people” while never grasping why the people wanted a national inquiry into the mass r*pe and sexual abuse of hundreds of thousands of their own children — and calling them “far right” for wanting truth and justice.
And all done with the tone of a sanctimonious, pompous head teacher, scolding the British people for problems his own party helped create, then made worse, and then called “progress”.

Yes. The 2024 Labour vote was only about 1 point above that of 2019, when Corbyn was Labour leader.

There seems to be a definite push for actual war, hot war, between NATO states and Russia. Russia is not driving this; it is being driven by secretive cabals and ruling circles in the West, connected with the (((usual suspects))).
