I was listening on the car radio to the pathetic BBC Radio 4 PM show yesterday. Vox pop from Liverpool. A mixture of the half-witted and the lunatic, with a couple of more or less sensible voices as well. One loonie said that he has been washing pineapples bought in supermarkets in case the outer husk has “the virus” on it!

Nick Griffin is correct. Too many people imagine that the world is all black and white (and read that how you will). In fact, there are many different groups, agendas and evils. I wonder, though, whether Martin’s conclusion is still valid, bearing in mind that the present Pope (possibly the last Pope) is “on side” with secular globalism and with transnational ideas such as “The Great Reset” and “The Great Replacement”. The other great change since the book was published in 1990 has been the disappearance of socialism across the world. In all forms, not only the old SovBloc. In fact, that started to happen a few years before 1990.

We have seen that socialism has not only “failed”, if you like, but has become a shadow of its former self; if you like, a “spectre”, no longer “haunting Europe” like the 19thC/20thC communism of The Communist Manifesto, but lingering here and there, powerlessly, like wisps of mist.

The Roman Catholic presence, still powerful 30 years ago, has also faded. The child abuse scandals worldwide weakened the Church hugely, despite the fact that such crimes also existed and exist in other organizations such as those of the secular state(s).

The general materialism of the age, stronger since 1989, has also sapped all life from the Roman Catholic and other churches.

What is left on the main stage is transnational capitalism and, with it, a “communitarian” consensus/conspiracy on a huge scale. “Black Lives Matter” and the “virus” “panicdemic” are just parts of all that.

Wikipedia and the various versions of “history”

Wikipedia is a useful resource if used with a sceptical attitude. For example, I saw this piece about one Anna Seghers, a Jewish woman who became a Communist Party member in Germany in 1928: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Seghers.

According to that article, Anna Seghers was “arrested by the Gestapo” in 1932. That would in fact have been impossible, if only because the Gestapo was established only in 1933, at which time it was a police organization purely in the region of Prussia, having been set up by Goering. It became a nationwide organization three or more years later, in and after 1936: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gestapo.

Anna Seghers was from Mainz, in the Rhineland-Palatinate, and spent all or most of her life until 1934 in that region of Germany, mostly in Koblenz and Cologne. In other words, in the part of Germany where she lived, and when she lived there, there was no Gestapo.

It is possible that this Anna Seghers was questioned by local police, though not Gestapo, or even that she was briefly detained in 1933 or 1934 in Prussia (where there was a Gestapo), though that seems unlikely. Whatever the true facts, and even if she was arrested, she was then released. So she was not (as typical postwar propaganda would have it) brutalized, imprisoned, sent to a concentration camp, shot, “gassed” or her skull exhibited by SS-Ahnenerbe…

In fact, she went —and was allowed to go— to Switzerland in 1933 or 1934, and from there she went to Mexico.

“While still in Paris, in 1939, she had written The Seventh Cross, for which she received the Büchner-Prize in 1947. The novel is set in 1936 and describes the escape of seven prisoners from a concentration camp. It was published in the United States in 1942 and produced as a movie in 1944 by MGM starring Spencer Tracy. The Seventh Cross was one of the very few depictions of Nazi concentration camps, in either literature or the cinema, during World War II.” [Wikipedia]

So look at that above paragraph: The Seventh Cross was “one of the very few depictions of concentration camps” before 1945, yet that description is entirely fictional! Anna Seghers was never anywhere near a concentration camp or any kind of camp! In fact, she had left Germany in 1933 or 1934, i.e. before or within a few months of Hitler’s accession as Chancellor.

Reminiscent of the above is the 1993 film Schindler’s List, which many think of as “history”, whereas in fact it was based on a novel, Schindler’s Ark, written by an Australian who was only born in 1935, and whose novel (i.e. a work of fiction, which in fact won the Booker Prize for Historical Fiction) was published in 1983.

Naturally, a few real facts are woven into the fictional narrative. This is common to all “faction” writing (cf. The Day of the Jackal etc).

Another is the film Sophie’s Choice, which is completely fictional, but which many naive people cite as a “true story” and an example of the behaviour of the SS etc!

The “Working Class History” Twitter account weasels about Anna Seghers having “survived”, as if “the Gestapo” did terrible things to her instead of…nothing. The tweet there is very misleading, implying that Anna Seghers was detained for years, maybe until 1945!

A couple of “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] Jew-Zionists discuss one of the women they and their friends used to troll mercilessly online (using pseudonymous Twitter accounts), a fact the lawyer for the “CAA” had to admit in open court during one of the court hearings in one of the Alison Chabloz cases.

They also made malicious complaint against people offline, ruining, for example, the (until-then successful) photography business of Jo Stowell. Now they still push a stick in on Twitter from time to time.

The odd thing about the above-noted remark by Applebaum is the contemptuous reference to the lady’s “failure in life“. A not uncommon remark by (((individuals))) like him, but does he ever look in the mirror? A former occasional/freelance scribbler, specializing in film, who has not had much published for quite a number of years (the occasional piece appears in the Jewish Chronicle). Applebaum is now, in effect, a 40-something house-husband. What right has he to look down on anybody?

“Priti Patel bullied staff” [news reports]. It is well-known that Indian women often bully their staff, eg household maids etc. That is even more true of those employers (or, in Sun-speak, “bosses”) brought up in modest circumstances (as Priti Patel was— her parents were small shopkeepers who built up a chain of profitable small shops). Yes. Toby Young has said not a sausage in defence of the free speech of Alison Chabloz, who is still undergoing fresh persecution by the Jew-Zionist lobby, led by the fake charity called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA” (in fact, she is supposedly going to be on trial yet again at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London soon, if the trial actually proceeds). I am no Trump partisan, but the situation is not without its suspicious aspects. Also, I find it very suspicious that the msm drones are all saying that “there is no evidence” for any chicanery.

In the longer term, one can see a general “culture war” developing, or continuing to develop, first in the USA, then elsewhere. Rudolf Steiner wrote about a far-future “War of All Against All”, and one can see the vague outlines even now: racial conflict, ideological conflict, old against young conflict, rich against poor, employed against unemployed; self-employed against both of those. Then we have male v. female, feminists v. men, and also against non-feminist women; feminists and others against “trans people”. The categories noted would not be a full list.

As far as the USA is concerned, I wonder how long it can exist as one state or (as it originally was) a federation of states. The divisions are great even as between the labels “Democrat”/”Republican”, which labels hide —to an extent— other divisions.

It might seem simplistic to suggest an “Alfred the Great” solution (as when he agreed to the “Danemark” in part of Eastern England, but maybe some of the states of the USA could develop into semi-official and more or less autonomous “ethnostates”. There have been small attempts, mostly in the Pacific Northwest: Idaho, Oregon, Washington state etc.

Nazim Ali

I have blogged briefly in the past week and also a couple of years ago about the persecution of a London pharmacist and Palestinian, Nazim Ali, a persecution carried on by the (or part of the) Jewish (Jew-Zionist) lobby, namely the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”].

At first, the “CAA” tried to bear false witness against Nazim Ali, in order to support the CAA’s complaint about him to the police. When the police and CPS refused to prosecute Ali, the CAA made application in the High Court for a judicial review of the no-prosecution decision. That failed miserably. Comprehensively trashed by the Court.

The CAA then turned to another method of attack— the abuse of professional regulation. The case brought by the CAA against Nazim Ali has been heard over the past week or so (and today is still being heard) in the disciplinary tribunal of the General Pharmaceutical Council.

What Nazim Ali said on the relevant occasion in 2017 (the Al Quds march in London) has now been found to be not “antisemitic” (not that there is anything unlawful about being “antisemitic” anyway, as the Crown Court judge said in one of the Alison Chabloz appeals).

Furlough extension

As I predicted some months ago, the “furlough” scheme (stay at home on 80% of pay up to £2,500 per month) is being extended fot several months. Indian “clever boy” Rishi Sunak would probably have preferred not to do that, but without it (in circumstances where the “lockdown”/shutdown madness is being restarted and likely as not continued for months to come) would mean millions more unemployed and a huge political backlash.

This way, the political backlash is bought off (for now), and while the cost to the Treasury is huge, so would be millions of unemployed people.

Early evening foray

Went out just before dark to get fuel for car and check tyre pressures about 5 miles away. Surprising amount of highway traffic (rural/semi-rural A-road) in what is an area without nearby large towns or cities. I thought that everything or almost everything was supposed to be shut. So where are these cars all going?

Nazim Ali— Update

Well, Nazim Ali’s case concluded at the tribunal of the General Pharmaceutical Council. While what he said at the Al Quds march in 2017 was determined to be “not ‘antisemitic’“, his words were determined to be “offensive“. He was, in other words, found technically guilty. The tribunal decided that azim Ali should be given an official warning as sole penalty.

So there it is. The malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake charity has tried for 3 years to “get” Nazim Ali. They sent Jew spies to the Al Quds march, badgered the police and CPS, went to the High Court, lost aain; finally had minor success when the General Pharmaceutical Council decided to raise a disciplinary case against Nazim Ali. US Election

As I blogged previously, even some months ago, this will be close. What a farce, though! Two absurd candidates.

It is a commonplace to read that the Electoral College system is undemocratic, in that it allows a candidate with fewer votes than the other main candidate to win, and so become President.

On the other hand, were total numbers alone to be determinative, and as things are now, that would mean a permanent Democrat and non-white majority (and President).

Many will say “why not?”, but even if one leaves aside my view that white people must rule, it can be seen that such a permanent non-white/Democrat majority would lead to civil war and the break-up of the Union.

The mainly white “flyover” states would eventually secede.

The present system at least allows states far from Washington D.C., and from the larger population areas, to have some kind of say.

At time of writing, the result is in the balance. Radio talking heads discuss the possibility of “unrest”, but all that really matters is who is “anointed” by the Deep State, if you will, as President. Criminal Bar

Listening to the BBC Today Programme, heard a representative of the criminal Bar talking about how members of the criminal Bar are now suffering heavily from lack of work, and so fees. The courts have been closed or largely closed for 6 months. Barristers in private self-employed practice are subject to Lenin’s dictum, “he who does not work does not eat“— Кто не работает, тот не кушает [Кто не работает, тот не кушает]. How well do I remember that! I mean life at the practising Bar (1992-1996 and 2002-2008).

My Bar practice, especially in earlier years, in the early 1990s, was very much illustrative of that. I was in pretty poor London chambers at first, which supplied equally poor work, mostly criminal. I had to hustle, as the Americans say, to get work of my own in various ways, because chambers had poor work and the single Clerk was almost useless.

Before very long (it seemed long at the time), the magistrates’ court and Crown Court appearances gave way to High Court (i.e. non-criminal) cases, mostly judicial reviews, and other non-criminal work (mostly contract cases) in the County Court, as well as Tribunal appearances of various kinds. Quite mixed.

One day, a High Court brief marked at (for preparation time and first day or part) maybe £2,000 or even £5,000 for half a day or a day (this was about 25 or 27 years ago; today, it would be far far more), the next day a tiny magistrates’ court appearance at perhaps £100 (or less), or a “Mention” (a brief Crown Court appearance which might be only a few minutes in length), with criminal legal aid fee officially fixed at £46! The following day? Maybe nothing at all. The week after? Sometimes, still nothing at all! Followed by…whatever. Some weeks, one might do work in the thousands or even more; more usually, the fees would amount to a few hundred or a thousand; not rarely, I would make absolutely nothing in a whole week.

My spending was likewise up and down; one week, Rules restaurant, the River Room at the Savoy, Julie’s in Notting Hill, and a weekend at Cliveden [ https://www.clivedenhouse.co.uk/]. The next week might be an egg-on-toast breakfast at a workers’ cafe, and maybe a loaf of bread and a tin of tuna (plus decent red wine, though!) for the evening, and a walk in Regent’s Park for weekend recreation (depending on luck…).

Reverting to the Today Programme, my reaction (apart from Memory Lane reminiscence) was two-fold. I recognize that a civilized society needs a cadre of criminal defenders. Likewise, they need to be paid at a reasonably generous level to reflect their years of study, continuing study, and their responsibility.

Of course, many at the civil, Chancery and other parts of the Bar are not affected much, or even at all, by “the virus”. Still, the criminal Bar and maybe the family-law Bar are affected severely. A serious problem for society as a whole.

On the other hand, when I was attacked by a malicious pack of Zionist Jews, a persecution which led eventually to my unjust disbarment in October 2016, not one barrister spoke up for me, for freedom of socio-political expression (“free speech”) generally, or for fairness. Not one who had known me personally. Not one who poses as a champion of “free speech”, political liberty etc, and virtue-signals accordingly. Not one.

That being so, I have to admit that, harsh though it may be, I am laughing now as many members of the Bar are suffering, nearing penury and even bankruptcy. What goes around comes around, and I am not going to shed too many crocodile tears for people who failed to say one word for me or for free speech.

In fact, a few barristers, either Jews or very tied up with Jews and/or (probably) dependent on Jewish solicitors for work, tweeted joyfully about my getting disbarred; one or two were even gratuitously rude to me directly, either then or much later. Don’t worry— you happy few have not been forgotten.

Incidentally, the five tweets which resulted in my disbarment were all general comments; not one was addressed to any individual, and they were all true! Example? Michael Gove as “a pro-Jew, pro-Israel expenses cheat“. That was all demonstrably true, yet was deemed “grossly offensive“! Now, of course, we know that Michael Gove is also a cocaine-snorting drunk, who was even filmed not so long ago drunk and/or drugged, and staggering, in the Chamber of the House of Commons! Ye Gods!

Coronavirus

I heard a piece on BBC World Service about “the virus” as it is in Prague and the Czech Republic generally.

Earlier in 2020, the Czech government instituted one of the most severe “lockdowns” (and other measures) in the world. Now? The Czech Republic apparently has the second-highest rate of infections [known] in the world.

Nothing was said of how many people were having to be hospitalized or how many are dying. A temporary large hospital has been constructed, but according to the BBC reporter, the ventilators shown were “wheezing” without patients.

Conclusion? Nothing much from the BBC; from me, the conclusion that testing is up, known infections are up, but —perhaps— the number of actual deaths from the virus is not much —if at all— up. Also, that the severe “lockdown” of earlier this year has not stopped infection but —at most— merely delayed it.

It might have been better to allow infection to proliferate in the Spring and Summer, when hospitals are less busy generally. Same in the UK.

In the UK, the “lockdown” (shutdown of virtually the whole society) was meant to be, or at least presented to the public as, temporary, for a few weeks only, to “flatten the curve” of infection, the numbers hospitalized etc, and so “save the NHS”. In the contemporary phrase, “that went well”…

Here we are 6+ months later and, while the UK death rate (from “the virus” if not from everything else) is now low, technical infection is high and we still have “local” lockdowns amounting to a semi-national lockdown; also of course the intrusive and unnecessary facemask nonsense.

A fairly interesting article, but omitting the key fact about the 2019 General Election, which is that the Conservative Party did not win it; Labour lost it. The Conservative Party won only by default. Huge numbers of 2017 Labour voters did not vote Labour in 2019, true…but relatively few of those voted Conservative. The latest “Campaign Against Antisemitism (“CAA”) “lawfare” outrage (along with the continuing affaire Chabloz) is the complaint against Nazim Ali, a pharmacist, who made a speech at the Al Quds march in London three years ago, in 2017.

The “CAA” did its usual thing of sneaking around hoping to record something “antisemitic” so that the CAA might complain to the police or to professional regulators.

The case is now before the professional regulatory tribunal for the pharmaceutical profession.

The same thing happened to Jez Turner of London Forum. His speech in Whitehall was overheard by CAA snoop Gideon Falter and/or others. The police and then Crown Prosecution Service [CPS] declined to prosecute, so the CAA used “lawfare”, going to the High Court to have the no-prosecution decision subjected to judicial review. The result was a stalemate, but the Crown Prosecution Service did “reassess” the matter, eventually prosecuting Jez Turner, who was, after a Crown Court trial, eventually sentenced to a year in prison, serving half. A hero.

Coronavirus nation

The contrived “virus” situation has not only exposed how empty of content our society now is, and its institutions especially (as I blogged months ago) but also has led to where we are now, a kind of shadow society. The virus apparently makes many lose their senses of taste and smell, and that is, metaphorically, what has happened socially and politically. Look at the House of Commons.

We have a government of clowns who, under previously normal conditions, would not even have been taken seriously by their own party, let alone the public. They have no credibility, no real ideology or even ideas. They are (as again blogged about many times) led by a part-Jew public entertainer whose jokes are now falling very flat.

The UK has a binary political system, which means, inter alia, that if the official Opposition is, like the Government, just a collective puppet of the Jewish lobby, there is no real opposition to Government policy and behaviour.

The Labour Party simply “opposes” Boris-idiot by saying “we agree with most of what you do, but you should do more of the same, and harder, and should have done it earlier; and borrowed more money to soften the blows...”

The oddest thing is that, in the UK and elsewhere (eg USA), public horror (arguably exaggerated) re. underage sex activity goes together with the actual encouragement of such activity in the West since the 1960s. “Boris” also found himself confronted by reality as MP (sacked from Government by his superiors), Mayor of London (failed projects included the useless water-cannon, the abandoned Garden Bridge, buses, the expensive and almost unused Thames cable-car, and “Boris Island); also as Foreign Secretary (abject failure) and now as PM, in which exalted rank he has run the UK into the ground.

“Boris” was always the recipient of unmerited preferment and privilege.

“Boris” is already held in contempt even by his own party. Credible stories emerge that he will go in early-mid 2021. As always, it is “all about him”, how he wants more money from scribbling articles and books, and yet more via the making of after-dinner speeches. He wants to make, and may make, a million a year. He should be shot, or at least compelled to labour for a loaf of rye bread per day, and not rewarded for his crimes (as he probably will be), but this world is short on justice.

In the 1930s, most Brits living in Germany wanted a third way as against both Sovietism (Stalinism) and finance-capitalism (Anglo-Americanism). These days, Brits in Germany (Berlin, mostly) tend to be multikulti zealots, facemask zealots, EU zealots etc. Natural serfs.

The history of the Roman Catholic Church is intimately bound up with our Western civilization. Some of its achievements have been stellar; some of its sins huge. However, the central fact is that the institution is now nearing the end of its time.

The behaviour of the modern Chinese (as a group, and China as a state) is often ghastly and backward. The treatment of the peoples of Western China is one example. However, the comment about the falling European birth-rate, and so the proportion of Europeans in the world, is simple fact. We are being outbred. We need to take care of that in several ways.

I disagree anyway with the “lockdown(s)”, with the shutting down of the economy and society, and one can see that countries such as Sweden have everything working, and a lower death rate (per 1,000) than the UK.

In the end, our society has to bite the bullet. It seems that the young are scarcely affected, and that even the middle-aged are only somewhat affected. In addition, English and other real British (i.e. white) people are affected less than non-white (including Jews).

I myself am in at least one vulnerable group, at age 64, but say that the time has come to junk all the nonsense of the past 8+ months and revive the society and economy.

It is time to say “Enough!” and open everything up. Let the chips fall where they may.

Well, there it is: yesterday, nearly 13,000 known “cases”, yet only 65 deaths. About 1 death for every 200 “cases”. Most people are not even tested, so that must mean about 1 death for every 1,000, 2,000 or more people in the UK.

Darren Grimes is perhaps not sufficiently aware to know that it was the Jew-Zionist lobby that started this fairly recent trend of “lawfare”, meaning the abuse of badly-drafted laws to repress opinions of which that Jew lobby disapproves. Trump and “the virus”

Just thinking about how this latest news about Trump and Melania will play politically. Already I have seen opinions to the effect that Trump does not really have “the virus” and that Boris-idiot likewise never had it. Maybe so, but my inclination is to believe that both had/have it.

In respect of Trump, what matters is whether he recovers or not. If not, then (obviously) he will not win the upcoming election because he will be dead. In that event, Mike Pence would have every chance of beating Joe Biden and winning the Presidency for the Republican Party.

The more likely event is that Trump will recover. In the world as a whole, only one person has died so far out of every 8,000. In the USA, there have been (as the BBC and Sky keep telling us, usually without giving the per capita context…) about 200,000 or so deaths; that, though, is out of a population of about 330,000,000. 1 death out of every 1,500 or so of the population. In respect of known (tested) cases, nearly 5 million cases and, of those, 96% (4,737,000 approx) recovered; about 4% died: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Trump is 74, overweight etc, and so in a generally more vulnerable than average category. However, the odds are that he will recover. So how does that play?

In my view, Trump getting “the virus” and then recovering would boost his standing considerably. It would validate what he has always said, and which is after all backed by the statistics: that in the USA, 96% of those who actually have had “Coronavirus” have recovered. Thus, while this virus is certainly a major public health threat, it is not the plague, not the Black Death, and society must not be shut down because of its existence.

Boris Johnson please note…

The US election is close, and not so easy to predict. The Electoral College electoral system is very odd, a very 18th Century idea of democracy. Each state has a number of Electoral College votes, based on the amount of population. Whichever candidate wins the most votes in each state gets all the Electoral College votes for that state (with two exceptions, Maine and Nebraska): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Electoral_College

Thus (as with the British electoral system based on MPs elected from constituencies), it is quite possible for a Presidential candidate to get a minority of the popular vote yet win the Presidency because that candidate has won a majority of the Electoral College votes. That is in fact what happened in 2016: Trump won a minority of the popular vote, but a majority of the Electoral College vote.

The bookmakers (in the UK) are making Joe Biden a close favourite over Trump, but it is still close enough to be uncertain. The demographics (increasing non-white populations in the US) favour the Democrats, but the majority is still small, though growing.

Superficially, Biden seems to have the election half-won, but I am not sure that Trump can be written off (assuming that he does not succumb to “the virus”). Trump’s handling of the virus situation is a major card for the Democrats. If Trump himself, at his age and in his condition of health and fitness, can pull through, that must strengthen his case on the virus and how to handle it, and would tend to back his preference for fully re-opening the economy.

There again, many white Americans especially will have been looking at the scenes of near-anarchy and even near civil war in some cities, and wondering whether Trump is not a better bet than Biden and the Democrats. After the recent “debate” shouting match, when (from what I have heard) Biden seemed almost ga-ga, this election may be very close indeed.

[Update, 29 August 2023: my view now on “Boris” and Trump getting the Covid virus is that they probably did, but that it was blown up out of proportion in order to increase the reach of the fear propaganda, and that neither was ever in real danger].

None that I have seen have described him also (as I have done) as a “sack of s***”, though! Those people who say “I have lost a son/daughter/father/mother/grandparent/significant other to Coronavirus, so please do XYZ, and do not be COVID-19 deniers” are like people who say “I have lost [whoever] because of a traffic accident, so please never drive a car except at below 10 mph, and do not be traffic accident deniers“. Except that no-one sane ever says the latter, because such a suggestion would be seen as wildly disproportionate, as well as importing emotional blackmail into what should be a reasoned argument.
