Utterly mad (of course).

[“Approximately 500,000 Ukrainian citizens in Germany receive benefits, while only a quarter of those who have arrived are employed – Bild

“The employment rate is only 27.1% – significantly lower than in other European countries.”

Alice Weidel, leader of the “Alternative for Germany” party, stated that Germany can no longer afford to support Ukrainian refugees.”]

Almost all the Ukrainians I ever met were total wastes of space.

The point is not only that more and more are making successful claims (because the legal architecture around asylum is completely out of date, and has been for decades) but also that even the unsuccessful claimants almost all remain here, and are not removed.

[“I see that the NSPCC is in the news today for all the wrong reasons.

I was a volunteer counsellor within the organisation for over 5 years. After whistleblowing my concerns regarding the safeguarding of children, I was told to leave. Here are some of the things I witnessed:

-Message boards in which children advise each other about sourcing cross-sex hormones and genital surgery

-Advising vulnerable girls on wearing breast binders

-Defending men who want to ‘chest feed’ babies

-Telling children that, if they are left infertile after transitioning, they can always get a surrogate to carry a baby for them

-A CEO who has said that ‘transwomen’ should be “celebrated”

-A webpage which reads as a roadmap to transitioning

-Trans flags flying in its counselling rooms

-Collaboration with Mermaids

-Enlisting children to make pride flags for marches

-Selling ideological reading material through its online shop

-A Head of Childline, Shaun Friel, who said that it is a “privilege” to work with children “coming out” regarding their “gender identity”

If our children are not safe contacting the NSPCC, where are they safe?“]

In fact, there have been serious doubts about the NSPCC and similar and associated bodies for decades. The behaviour of many staff has been appalling, as in the “Orkney witchhunt” case, in which families were torn apart in a situation akin to the Salem witch trials of 330 years ago: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salem_witch_trials; and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orkney_child_abuse_scandal; and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_satanic_ritual_abuse_allegations#Rochdale

As a matter of fact, I should say that one of the most prominent facts about Britain in 2026 is the widely-held belief that “wishing makes it so.

I am not only referring to the epidemic of fake “trans” persons etc. You see the syndrome all over the place. For example, the belief that ever-more impressive exam results in schools and colleges mean that students are ever-more educated and/or intelligent.

The same is true of the ever-greater numbers of “graduates”, the same being found everywhere now in low-level retail jobs, call centre jobs, all sorts of poorly-paid, low-skill jobs.

Another example: the belief that Britain is a nation (leave that aside for now) which can face down or successfully fight Russia. That belief requires its believers (retired senior military desk-officers, quite a number of MPs, thousands if not hundreds of thousands of middleaged/elderly Daily Express and Daily Mail readers etc) to believe that a country (the UK) with a very small —and frankly now not very impressive— army/navy/air force, and about 50 at-any-time-usable nuclear missiles can “defeat” (if “defeat” has any meaning in the nuclear age), or at least hold, a country (Russia) 72x the size, with twice the population, with massive armed forces and, most importantly, as many as 7,000 nuclear weapons, some of which cannot be intercepted or stopped.

Another example: that Britain can continue to allow the importation of millions of racially and culturally backward individuals while maintaining the level of, or even improving the level of, society here (cultural norms, services, pay, State benefits, environment etc). It is more than mistaken; it is actually mad, yet millions of people [want to] believe it.

For me, at least some of the pervasive untruth around had its genesis in the “holocaust” farrago spread out since 1945 and particularly the past 40 years. In particular, the “gas chambers” fable.

Untruth has pervaded our society and so poisoned it, and its politics.

Angela Rayner is herself a personification of sleaze (also ignorance).

Farage himself is not particularly popular, not particularly liked or respected. However, as frequently noted on the blog, Farage’s and Reform’s best point is not anything Reform or Farage may do, or may have done, but the state of the traditional System parties. They also are not much liked or respected. People are voting against them, not for Reform or, even less, for Farage himself.

Look at the opinion polls: Reform and Labour both in the low/mid 20s, around 25%. The Conservative Party a few points below that level.

Long before the Russian “invasion” of 2022, Ukraine was known as the most corrupt country in Europe. Even in the 1990s.

That prosecutor was probably getting too close to getting enough evidence about Zelensky and his immediate circle.

Britain no longer even pretends to be a “free country”, the description often heard 50 or 60 years ago.

Refer to previous comment…

Victory in Eastern Ukraine may be, at last, within Russia’s grasp.

Loonie.

Loonie (he seems to include the UK in that).

If someone, some force, some religious army, could take Mecca, then either use it as an Islamic base or totally destroy it (especially the religious relics such as the Kaaba), that would change the Middle East and the world forever.

A woman once asked me, about 40 years ago, whether I felt in any personal way “betrayed” by Kim Philby. Obviously not. Philby was born in 1912, 44 years before me, I never knew him or, as far as I know, anyone who knew him (excepting that I once or twice had lunch in the 1990s with an ex-KGB officer turned businessman, “Ed”, who had once heard a lecture by him at the Lubyanka) and, last but not least, I have never been an officer or agent of SIS (or any other intelligence or security agency).

However, the woman’s question missed the point. Philby betrayed his Service, and colleagues, but also the State. The crime was against the State, just as is the case, fundamentally, with almost any crime.

It is immaterial that I myself have never been mug enough to waste money sending funds to “Jack Monroe” so that she can snort it up her snout or guzzle it down her throat. I am offended by her defrauding of genuinely poor people, and her abuse of them and their plight so that she can present a fake image to the public and make plenty of money out of virtue-signalling mugs, an enterprise in which she has been aided and abetted by the hand-wringing part of the affluent middle classes (Guardian and Observer scribblers and readers, book-festival organisers, TV producers and other parasites).

Ah. I was wondering whether tweeter “Neil Marsden” (joined Twitter July 2023, only 4 “followers”) is yet another “Jack Monroe” “sock account”. Probably.

Incredibly, and as of today, 397 utter mugs are still sending “Jack Monroe” a total of thousands of pounds each month via Patreon.

Poland has already been the location of the trigger for one world war. Will there now be another, and probably far more devastating?

Even that great warmonger, Churchill, said that “jaw jaw is better than war war“.

Festive, yet slightly sedate, and well-behaved. If only our British resorts and visitors were so well-behaved. There again, Yalta has not suffered the kind of decadence and migration-invasion as have, say, Bournemouth and Brighton.

Not a chef, not really even a cook, just a fraudulent “grifter” who deserves to be binned by the public and msm alike.

In Kind Hearts and Coronets, Alec Guinness played 8 separate roles, with different clothes, hairstyle, mannerisms etc: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kind_Hearts_and_Coronets. That theatrical tour de force is, if not equalled, at least certainly imitated by “Jack Monroe”— courageous “firefighter” officer (she never was, she just answered telephones for a while); “cancer sufferer” (never was, but collected donations off the back of the lie); “Grenfell Tower rescuer/organizer” (out and out lie); “poverty-stricken benefits claimant” (for a few months, maybe a year, at least a decade ago; she always had her Greek-Cypriot family nearby, who own millions of pounds in buy-to-let property); “single mother” (yes, but claimed to have sold her child’s favourite toy for cash, a blatant lie designed to fool more mugs into sending her more “donations”, and the child is said to live with her only occasionally); “cook” (her food is execrable and not as cheaply-made as she claims); “lesbian” (apparently not, or only when it suits her); “anti-Tory activist” (occasional tweets, very occasional soundbites on TV shows misguided enough to believe her fake backstory etc and invite her onto such as Question Time); “suicidal-ideation sufferer” (only on Twitter, and when people start to question her fraudulent activities); “mental health sufferer/victim of online and offline harassment” (see previous description).

One can imagine a near-future in which human beings are not on the battlefield at all, at least not the traditional battlefield.

Israel is doomed. After that, anything is possible.
