Alison Chabloz

[Alison Chabloz]

Latest news about persecuted satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz is that she is no longer on police bail in respect of a (((complaint))) of harassment made against her by (((someone))) in North London, a complaint made months ago.

It will be recalled that, nearly four months ago, a number (at least half a dozen) police burst into her home (in a shared house) in South-East London. That was apparently quite early in the morning, and Alison Chabloz was not fully dressed.

After the police raiding party had ransacked her home and taken her computers and telephones (and those of completely uninvolved persons also resident in the same building), Alison was taken to Charing Cross Police Station in Central London, interrogated, then released on police bail.

It is a source of concern that the police these days often seem ignorant of the most basic law relevant to their work. Or maybe that is yet another example of the termite-like influence of Common Purpose (following their motto of “Leading beyond Authority”…). In this case, however, they seem to have been belatedly put straight.

The law on police bail was changed a while ago, and is again under review: see https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/insights/why-is-police-bail-being-reviewed-again/.

Police bail, at present, should only be used at all when its use is “necessary and proportionate”, and should (in almost all cases) be used for a maximum of 4 months, and all but the first 28 days to be authorized by a court.

Also: “The police should now release most suspects they need more time to investigate with a new status: released ‘under investigation’ or RUI for short. The police have no powers to require RUI suspects to report to them, no powers to place conditions on them and no time limits within which to complete their investigation against them.” [House of Commons Library]

This is what happened when Alison was police-bailed in her other outstanding matter, in Derby. The police should probably never have placed Alison on police bail anyway, as in this London matter. Certainly, no court authorized its continuance. Now, the Metropolitan Police have changed her status to “released under investigation”, meaning that she is under no restrictive conditions (re. that matter, but see further below).

It can be seen from the citation here above that the police had in any event come to the end of the (nearly) 4 month maximum police bail period.

Alison Chabloz was due to return to Charing Cross Police Station today, presumably to be told whether any charges were going to be laid. She has, however, been informed via her solicitor that her presence is now not required and (as already noted) is simply “Released Under Investigation”, though the police claim that their “investigation” still continues.

I doubt it. If the police had insufficient evidence against Alison Chabloz (nearly) four months ago, and now still have insufficient evidence with which to charge her, the “investigation still continues” assertion seems to be merely a figleaf to save face. I very much doubt that the police investigation will go any further or anywhere. How many does that make?

The only remaining question about the above, for me, is why the police still allow themselves to be used as “useful idiots” for (((malicious persons))) making all sorts of contrived complaints.

If I had to guess, I should say that the odds are that Alison Chabloz will not face any charge.

As for Alison’s other outstanding matter, in Derby (see earlier blog posts), more news at a later date.

You cannot oppose Jewish-Zionist behaviour in the Middle East but excuse it in the UK, USA, France, Germany etc. Same types, same problems.

Also, whatever people may say about various events in modern history, it is clear that the Israelis are running what amounts to a sort of “ethnostate”, and moreover, one which is both cruel and harsh in its operation, and which attracts sociopathic Jew adventurers from the USA, Australia, UK, and France as immigrant colonizers.

I am not necessarily against colonies or colonizers, in general, but the devil is in the detail.

Talking of “malicious complaints”…

In the end, the best of the white Northern Europeans must separate from the general society. That germinal ethnostate, probably not in only one location but throughout the world, will then survive as the larger or general society collapses into decadence, destruction, war and evil.

Not sure that I accept this. I [b.1956] can recall cartoon ads on TV in the early-to-mid 1960s saying “Keep Britain Tidy“, all about “litter louts” etc chucking stuff out of cars, while the good citizens took their litter home with them. It is probably worse now, because many of the less cultured people now have cars, which most did not (in the 1960s). Also, the “traveller” (Irish tinker “gypsy”) element was under greater control by the police back then.

At last, some people formerly in the mask-wearing and “lockdown”/shutdown-supporting camp are starting to awake…

[Piers Morgan with half-Jew criminal and Zionist agent of Israel, Ghislaine “Maxwell”]

I wonder how long before the majority of the population realize that, for almost all people, there never was any real danger from “Coronavirus”? Maybe a long time, maybe never. The propaganda has embedded itself and people generally are still behaving like scared rabbits, for no reason at all.

Meanwhile, for the 1,999 out of 2,000 people in the UK unaffected or only slightly affected by “the virus” itself, life continues, with the UK economy almost paralyzed thanks to government decisions, with millions now facing unemployment and penury, and homelessness (all the more now that the Boris-idiot “government” is allowing migrant-invaders to flood in).

The NHS is also damaged, and is scarcely dealing with the real threats to the life and health of the population, but its senior staff have been bought off by 4% pay increases while they work far less than ever before.

What a ghastly and unconvincing (((“simulacrum of the human”)))! Like something from a horror film!

In the msm, on Zionist Twitter accounts etc, the work The Protocols of Zion is invariably described as “a forgery” or “a Tsarist forgery“. In reality, it should be taken to be literary fantasy, but at the same time a literary fantasy based on real events, and groups, and on a real conspiratorial agenda.

In essence it is true, but is presented in a certain literary or “fantastic” way, in the sense of the French genre called “la fantastique” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantastique], and as, to take another example, with the famous Renaissance work The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz.

I blogged about that particular blot yesterday: Edward Sutherland, of (or formerly of) Belmont Academy, Ayr, Scotland. Not a Jew, but one of the (often very “dodgy”) non-Jews who act as doormats for Israel. The House of Commons is full of them.

Quite right. David Lange is a Jew-Zionist propagandist who moved from Australia to Israel, and who runs a website where he tries to pillory anti-Zionists (I myself was featured about 7 or 8 years ago, I believe it was). He is typical of the type…

The Zionists only understand one thing…

As is the “Yuri Bezmenov” Twitter account. [@Yuriwasright] https://twitter.com/Yuriwasright

Ecce the “liberal” multikulti Netherlands, where the old are euthanized and every kind of degeneracy is applauded and “celebrated”. I have been to the Netherlands a number of times, in the 1970s and 1980s especially, and my family had (and has) friends there. However, as I have heard, the country has changed for the worse, like much of Europe. I fear that the country I liked so much has probably largely gone.

In fact, Hitchens is wrong here. Like a lot of fairly clever people, he thinks that he is rather more clever than he is. Abstention is in fact nostep towards reform“, as Hitchens should surely be able to see. Already, no less than a third of the UK electorate fails to vote in Westminster elections, overall (in some constituencies only a fifth or even sixth of the eligible do vote, at least in by-elections!); in local elections, a turnout of a few percent is common in some wards.

In other words, a third of people (or more, as many are not even registered) do not vote at all now. They are already voting with the feet, abstaining, if you like. Has that led to any “reform”? Au contraire. It simply reinforces the System.

The first steps to reform of this broken system would be quite other, but the repressive legislation now in force in the UK means that I cannot spell out what those steps would be…

I do agree with Hitchens about the “false choices“, though. Two words: “Conservative; “Labour”.

Britain’s latest educational fiasco

I have not blogged much about the exams nonsense, mainly because it is clear that a. exams have been getting so easy over decades that one feels “just give them all ‘top’ grades and a big bag of sweets and let the rest of us drink our rum in peace“…; and b. what matters is whether school or university students have family money (both income and capital) behind them. Their own efforts and grades are frankly secondary. Society is extremely unjust and getting worse.

I saw this: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8643069/JANET-STREET-PORTER-Shouldnt-asking-Mickey-Mouse-degrees-worth-money.html and, disturbingly, found that, not for the first time recently, I was able to largely agree with Janet Street-Porter. Mirabile dictu!

Coronavirus

It is reported that, yesterday, 3 people died, in the whole of the UK, from or at least with Coronavirus. Three people. Out of nearly 70 million in the country. Out of several thousand being tested every day now as having Coronavirus.

It follows that there now is no substantial public health threat in the UK from Coronavirus; what does exist is panic and unwarranted fear, being stoked up deliberately by the UK government and its advisers.

The facemask nonsense has nothing to do with public health. It is as divorced from reality as the Dutch Tulip Craze of the 17th Century.

The same is true of the quarantine nonsense, which has already led to a rash of stories about how ingenious Brits have made it back to our sceptred shores with minutes to spare before they would have had to “self-isolate” (quaere: does the government really believe that people are going to “self-isolate”? It’s another “fantasy law” from Boris-idiot).

As to those just beating the quarantine deadline, we have had, in the msm today, bicycling families just breasting the tape with minutes to spare, and an octet which, having performed in a monastery in Normandy, hired a French fishing boat to get back to Newhaven in time. Stylish. In all, a Dunkirk-lite reprise. As Marx said, “first time tragedy, second time farce”…(and cf. Churchill/Boris-idiot…).

A quarantine (even an ineffective “self-isolation” one) might have had some logic behind it in March or April, but not now. Like the facemask nonsense, it is completely pointless.

Another point worth noting is that the countries now seeing upsurges in “the virus” are the very ones stupid enough to have imposed severe “lockdowns”: Spain, Italy, France. Hello? Is anyone listening?

Meanwhile…

Thousands of people could die of cancer after the number of urgent hospital referrals plunged by 43 per cent during lockdown…As fewer patients see their GPs with cancer symptoms – before being referred to specialists for scans – the disease is being picked up too late, experts fear.” [Daily Mail] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8632271/Thousands-people-die-cancer-urgent-hospital-referrals-plunged-250-000.html

The poundland KGB police state

This is what Britain now is, a place where people can be questioned by the police, not for anything truly criminal, but for posting about matters online, even posts which the police themselves accept, and in advance of interview, are not criminal! This is what the police now are— socio-politicized, biased, and riddled with Common Purpose drones at a high level.

Note that that letter was from the Nottinghamshire Police, a force which has one of the least-impressive records in dealing with real crime; the same is true of Derbyshire Police, who have been snooping on and persecuting the satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz for years.

Snowden

Interesting report: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8631747/Trump-says-look-strongly-pardoning-Edward-Snowden-calling-traitor.html

Snowden was obviously not an agent of Russian Intelligence at the start, meaning at the time of his flight from Hawaii. The Russians would have extracted him much more efficiently if he had been an agent. Instead, he went to Hong Kong and messed around there for days, risking capture and/or extradition.

Still, interesting that Trump is considering the possibility of a pardon. Unless, of course, the news is just bait, to interest Snowden in returning to the USA.

Very strange: a woman who, in effect, “inherited” her seat from her husband (who was recently convicted of some pretty silly sex crimes). A travesty.

As I have written previously on this blog, I repost quite a few Peter Hitchens tweets, not because I am a “supporter” or “fan” of Hitchens, but because he is quite often correct. That especially applies to his views about the “virus” panic and the absurd (and either mistaken or malicious) governmental over-reaction to it.

I have blogged previously about Hitchens himself: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/05/19/peter-hitchens-and-his-views/

Interesting…I blogged only last week about the 2019 General Election, the role of Nigel Farage and Richard Tice, and that Claire Fox peerage: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2020/08/09/diary-blog-9-august-2020/

Of course, Hitchens is right to say that discontent should grow and be expressed now that the State is seriously restricting freedoms such as movement, association, personal clothing, as well as free speech; and the fact is that Parliament now scarcely exists except as a rubber stamp. However, if I were to state my hopes for what might happen, I should no doubt have evil and malicious snoopers reporting me to the “authorities” in what has become a toytown police state. So I stay silent, or at least superficially silent.

A facade of democracy

We see repeatedly that, in the UK, voters vote only for parties, not for individuals. One example was the ignominious defeat of Simon Danczuk in Rochdale in 2017. His first election, in 2010, resulted in a vote-share of about 36%. His second election, in 2015, gave him a vote-share of about 46%. Both times under Labour label. After Danczuk had been deselected by Labour, he tried to get elected as Independent in 2017. Result? 1.8% (883 votes). Fifth place (out of six). The new Labour candidate won, with 58% of the vote.

Another example. Anne Milton was Conservative Party MP for Guildford from 2005. She also won the elections of 2010, 2015 and 2017, at the last of which her vote-share was nearly 55%.

An important distinction from the Danczuk case was there had been no scandal attaching to Anne Milton; she was deselected (the whip taken away by Boris Johnson) purely because of her opposition to “no-deal Brexit” and she was given the chance to stand again as a Conservative Party candidate at Guildford if she dropped her opposition. She refused and stood as Independent.

Anne Milton’s principled stance availed her naught; neither did her 14 years as MP for Guildford, nor her uninvolvement in any expenses scandal (or any other scandal). She got only 7.4% (over 4,000 votes, a 4th place out of 5) at the 2019 General Election. The new Conservative Party candidate won, with about 45%.

While Anne Milton’s defeat in 2019 was more honourable than that of Danczuk, the result, in bottom-line terms, was similar, a bad defeat. Her only consolation: she retained her deposit.

The “main parties” (and that really means just Labour and Conservative) still have a complete stranglehold because the sleepy voters are still voting mainly for a label.

Fear of “the virus”

Look at the tweet below (the reply by “Stalker”):

This is a very good example of the pathology, not of “the virus” itself, but of the fear of it. A teacher in a State secondary school resigns because he fears that he might contract “the virus” by being in the same building or room as children or young persons. Well, it is possible, of course, though unlikely; any such school students infected would probably themselves not show any symptoms and be in no danger.

As for the teacher, yes, he might pick it up from those pupils, though it is probably a thousand to one chance. If the teacher were unlucky and were infected, his chance of needing any medical intervention would be small, hundreds to one. His chance of being seriously affected would be tiny. His chance of dying from “the virus” would be even smaller. His age is not mentioned, but probably under 60, probably under 50. His fear is misplaced.

Thus we see the way in which the fear whipped up by the government of clowns and its ludicrous “SAGE” advisers has led many rather unthinking people to make panicked decisions.

In any case, the alternative is simply to have no schools open until an effective vaccine is found and deployed, which might be months, years, or never. I have little respect for the UK educational system as it is, but the result of, in effect, having no education at all given to the young, would be worse (probably).

Personally, I prefer to keep out of this “Labour Party antisemitism” stuff, not because I am afraid of being sued (least of all by the extreme Jewish lobby solicitor of choice, Mark Lewis) but because I am not a Labour supporter or member, and am well-known for being an independent anti-Zionist, overall, and a social nationalist.

I am confident that I can defend myself, should it be necessary, against any charge of defamation by anyone, but I have a copper-bottomed armour anyway, inasmuch as I have no money or real property now, so anyone who sues me will lose out (hugely, I would make sure of that) even if (unlikely) they were to win in court. Checkmate.

Ha ha! I typed, in error, “unkikely” instead of “unlikely“. I suppose that a psychologist could make something of that!

If anyone wants to see what I have written about that self-promoting fake, Mark Lewis, please use the search function on my blog. There are a number of what I think are interesting articles (certainly many thousands of people have seen them). They are quite hard-hitting (though accurate) and date from late 2018 and early 2019 .

Lewis has never threatened to sue me, not once, though I believe —and have reason to believe— that he was involved behind the scenes both in the malicious complaint made about me to the police in early 2017 by the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” and in the complaint made about me by “UK Lawyers for Israel” to the Bar Standards Board in 2014 (which resulted in my disbarment in late 2016). See https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/ and https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/

Lewis had the chance to sue me in 2018 or 2019 if he thought that I was libelling him. He was well aware of my blog posts. He never did sue, he never threatened to sue. My impecuniosity may have been part of the reason, but I maintain that another reason was because my blog tells the truth. It is not a pack of lies but true right the way through.

Peter Hitchens addresses the Leicester Coronavirus (supposed) “hot spot”:

Meanwhile, the Common Purpose socio-politicization of the police continues apace:

Yes, it must be hard for the termites eating away at British society to reconcile support for (mostly fake) “refugees”, and also for mass immigration of backward peoples into the UK, with support for contemporary decadence.

In the end, the USA will become some kind of dictatorship or near-dictatorship. Maybe oligarchic, maybe not. All the elements are there, just under the surface. The overwhelming power of Federal institutions and agencies such as the FBI, the long-time supervening-power of Federal laws and regulations over State or local ones (eg via the notorious “Commerce Clause” of the US Constitution: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commerce_Clause.

Then you have the huge size of the USA, and its equally large population: about 328 million people in nearly 4 million square miles. The EU (even without the UK) has more people (450 million) but in a smaller area (1.6 million square miles); but the EU is not (yet) one state.

Very large states are rarely very democratic: in the contemporary world, China, Russia. The EU has become less democratic as the states comprising it have increased in number and converged, and as its population and area have increased.

A large state (large both in area and population) tends to need a very strong police and/or secret/political police to keep it together: KGB (now FSB, within Russia), FBI etc.

The above is not an immutable rule, but a likely tendency, anyway.

Then one has the “diversity” aspect. “Diverse” populations lead to a centrifugal effect. The state may come apart, fall apart. The socio-political police have the effect of countering that, providing a centripetal power.

You can even see that in the UK: as mass immigration has torn much of society apart, there have been enacted ever-more repressive laws to repress free speech and political activity, and the police have become, increasingly, “thought police”, or at least (as I would say) “a poundland KGB”.

I wonder how long the Parler platform will last. Maybe not so long as a “free speech” enclave. No doubt the Jew mob on Twitter, and their pathetic “antifa” dupes, will infiltrate it, while at the same time trying to get it defunded, or closed down. They may be missing the point though. Twitter is largely a waste of time, certainly from the point of view of tweeters (if they imagine that they are influencing society or politics); GAB, Parler etc, even more so.

In the end, online activity can only be a corollary, so to speak, parasitic upon “real world” activity. A million Twitter or Facebook “likes” or “followers”, are not worth a thousand boots on the ground, or even a dozen.

UK infrastructure spending

Boris-idiot has just announced a £5 billion spending package. In principle, I am all in favour of newer (if better) hospitals, schools etc. I wonder, though, whether the money for school building might not have been better spent on actual education.

Anyone who meets teachers, or sees them on TV quiz shows, must be appalled at the sheer lack of knowledge they display, in almost all cases. This is a consequence of the fact that, in big-picture terms, teaching in schools, certainly in the UK, is a low-status and often relatively low-income occupation. That is especially so in the State school system, and especially for those who are not promoted to school heads.

The fact is that many teachers, perhaps especially in the State sector, are pig-ignorant. This has in fact always been a big problem in the UK.

My solution for the above is to make teaching a more valued occupation: higher entry standards, higher and more nuanced pay (eg more pay for more proven knowledge), less paperwork; and more teaching, less wasting time in the school day, and more in-depth teaching. A thoroughgoing reform of the primary and secondary educational sectors. Another reform for universities, but that is a separate issue.

Alison Chabloz

Regular readers of this blog will know that, in the past week, I have blogged briefly, a couple of times, about how Alison Chabloz has, in effect, won her appeal against conviction for alleged breaches of a condition of her suspended sentence (of mid-2018), in that the Crown Prosecution Service [CPS] has thrown in the towel, and has decided not to offer evidence against her at the appeal hearing (set down for 10 July 2020; that had been changed to only a so-called “mention”, the full hearing to have been later in the year).

The CPS gave as its reason for surrendering, that to proceed was “not in the public interest“, a fig-leaf to cover up the real or main reason, which was that there had been political interference from, firstly, the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [CAA], which initially suborned the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire, a dim Sikh and Labour Party drone, as a result of which Alison Chabloz was messed around both wrongfully and unlawfully by Derbyshire Police, and later also by the Metropolitan Police.

The CPS obviously wanted to avoid the bad publicity which might have leaked out about how the Jewish lobby controls and influences politicians at both high and low levels, and interferes with the course of justice in the UK. So they gave up opposition to Alison’s appeal, in order to save face.

I do intend to blog more fully about Alison Chabloz’s situation, but not for a day or so. This is merely (if you like) a non-judicial “mention” of my own.

The “CAA” had applied pressure on the then Justice Secretary (and so joke “Lord Chancellor”), Conservative Friend of Israel, and expenses cheat/freeloader, David Gauke (who is now no longer even an MP). He pressured the CPS, who pressured the privatized probation monkeys.

In fact, the CAA Jews admitted online that they pressured the authorities. The swine were proud of it! See: https://antisemitism.uk/alison-chabloz-handcuffed-in-court-and-jailed-for-breach-of-suspended-sentence-following-action-by-caa/

Lo and behold! A prosecution was raised, a good defence was offered, but Alison Chabloz was convicted all the same, by a district judge (magistrate) in Derbyshire, and was sentenced to 8 weeks. She actually spent a few days in prison before being released on bail pending appeal. I blogged about that at the time.

As it is, though, Alison Chabloz has now achieved a stunning victory over the police, the probation monkeys, the CPS and, best of all, the CAA conspirators.

In fact, the CAA is running scared. I notice that they have completely taken out of their website the page formerly naming their “patrons”. When it was up, it included such Jews as “baroness” Deech, of Oxford, and the disgraced (and increasingly-infirm) “Mark Lewis Lawyer” of (now) Eilat, Israel.

[above: Jew-Zionist CAA conspirator, Mark Lewis]
[above: a selection of the abusive tweets sent to Alison Chabloz and others by half-crazed CAA conspirator and dodgy solicitor, Mark Lewis]
[above: dodgy solicitor Mark Lewis, in his wheelchair at a demonstration in London a few years ago]
[above: Commissioner of Metropolitan Police, Cressida Dick, with CAA director, Gideon Falter]
[above: satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz at the piano]

In fact, Alison Chabloz still has one minor problem, despite being out of the woods as far as the 2018 “CAA” matter is concerned, and now that she has in effect succeeded in her appeal (the net result of all the CAA conspiring and snooping was that she suffered a few arrests, a few days in police custody, 2-3 days in a not-too-bad women’s prison and various other inconveniences such as days of trial etc).

The other minor problem is that another malicious Jewish complainant, probably connected with the CAA, made some sort of contrived complaint about what Alison said on an online “radio” show nearly a year ago. As a result, Alison has been further messed around, and has been on purported “police bail” now for many months and, purportedly, barred from posting on her blog (etc) (again).

I have not practised at the Bar for 12+ years (since 2008) and, thanks to the Jew lobby, was disbarred in 2016, but my understanding of the law as it now stands is that police bail cannot be extended beyond 28 days plus 3 months, ie a total of less than 4 months, without court approval: https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/insights/why-is-police-bail-being-reviewed-again/

In other words, the police may well be acting unlawfully in keeping Alison Chabloz on police bail (with conditions, at that) since (if memory serves) sometime in late 2019, and certainly since January 2020.

Alison Chabloz’s Counsel applied to Court to terminate the conditions some time ago, but failed in respect of the “posting on Internet” bar.

Just think about that: a policeman, in the UK of 2020, may choose to impose an Internet ban (as far as posting is concerned), purportedly running for months! That, on the say-so of some stray malicious Jew! It must be (I think, is) unlawful. Was the court in Derbyshire in error in maintaining that condition of bail, or have I —after all, I am no longer a “lawyer”, as such— missed something?

True, a court has now pronounced, but I cannot see how that can legitimize an already-illegitimate conditional police bail.

The police have no powers to require RUI suspects to report to them, no powers to place conditions on them and no time limits within which to complete their investigation against them.https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/insights/why-is-police-bail-being-reviewed-again/

My guess is that the latest malicious attempt by a Jew or a pack of Jews to pervert the course of justice will fail (I very much doubt whether Alison will be charged with anything), but in a sense, “they” have partly succeeded, in that Alison Chabloz has been prevented from exercizing her right to free speech for months. Also, a crowd of (largely non-white) police invaded her dwelling when she was (last) arrested, a few months ago, and stayed there for 1-2 hours, while she was still in pyjamas!

I have only seen one tweet about Alison’s recent total victory over the CAA and CPS (the CAA conspirators themselves are maintaining “radio silence”, it seems):

For God’s sake, people…Labour is no longer even pretending to have anything to do with “the working man” or indeed anyone English (or really British)…

Both System parties left standing (the LibDems are finished) are really just trash now, full of poor and —at best— mediocre MPs, offering nothing to the British people.

Evening forays

Well, I went out two evenings running, early evening. Only to Waitrose, though. On the main road (a rural or semi-rural A-road), some traffic, more than before (again). It is clear that the “lockdown”, put in place by a frightened and indeed panicked government of fools, is fraying at the edges.

Waitrose was slightly busier than yesterday, but on both days no queue to get in, and I have noticed that the black-clad Handmaid’s Tale militia (Waitrose marshals) have slackened off over the weeks. Still there, still going through the motions, but not as officiously as (one or two were) a few weeks ago.

Actually, I do not think that many people have died of Coronavirus in this part of southern England. I have seen two cases reported in the local Press since the scare began. That is in a population of 15,000 locally and, in a town about 12 miles away, another 20,000. Other small population centres as well. I have not been told personally about anyone at all who has even (knowingly) had “the virus”, let alone been hospitalized with it or died from it.

I saw a few idiots wearing what looked like home-made face-masks. Three, in fact. One ancient woman shopping with her husband (sans mask), one thin, brittle and unpleasant-looking woman aged around 60 (that’s youthful around here), and one typical male Guardian-reader, about 40 at a guess, complete with tote-bag. Yes, I am assuming wildly; I blame the “lockdown”…

As for panic buying, that seems to be yesterday’s news. Some types of pasta not available, and the flour shelf looked depleted, but the other most-scooped-up items, such as bleach, loo paper, kitchen roll etc were all in good supply. As for bread, over-supply, with many loaves on sale reduced to as little as 10p. What a difference a month makes.

As a matter of fact, I wonder how many (older) people remember the absurd sugar panic of (?) sometime in the late 1970s. It only lasted a week, had (as far as I can recall) no obvious cause, but had shoppers lining up to buy a dozen bags of sugar at a time. There were even a few scuffles or arguments in the aisles, I think. The “madness of crowds”.

Ah, maybe this [below] was what I had in mind:

https://www.theguardian.com/theguardian/2010/jul/09/archive-rationing-sugar-shortage-looms

1974. Earlier than I thought. Memory, even mine, is fallible. At least I did not “remember” having been gassed (6 times, in one case!), like some “holocaust” fakes!

Speaking of the 1940s, I was reading this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Sargant

“Selected patients for experimental operations with a high risk of death…”? Most of the criticisms of medicine and psychiatry in the Reich (sometimes justified criticisms) could be applied with as much or greater justice to the UK or USA. Fact. But Germany lost the War. Das ist’s…

I was just reading this:

https://www.loknstore.co.uk/articles/do-we-need-to-stockpile-essentials-for-a-hard-brexit/

Not sure that I believe the anecdotes in the first paragraph, but I suppose that I could be wrong.

On the way back to Schloss Millard, called in for a small amount of fuel at the (only) filling station. I saw an unmarked police car, a white Jeep-like vehicle with dark windows, akin to a Hummer (I never would have taken that to be a police vehicle) suddenly roar along the by-then empty main road, blue lights flashing (including a Kojak-style magnetic one on the roof).

What was that all about? A big undercover police operation in the area? A pensioner seen sitting on a clifftop bench, or walking along the pebbly shore, in defiance of “lockdown” “advice”? Maybe a dangerous “neo-Nazi” had been seen in the neighbourhood…In fact, Kojak‘s car light was red, but you get my meaning

After my shopping expedition, I sat down to watch the excellent Reilly, Ace of Spies on the nostalgia channel. I used to have it on DVD and, before that, on video. On this occasion, I was 15 minutes too early, so watched the ending of a marginally amusing “reality” show called Celebrity Dinner Date. What can I say? The “celebrity” (of whom I had never heard and whose name I have already forgotten) turned out to be a simian person of mixed race. He is apparently featured on the “Year of the Sex Olympics” show called Love Island, which I have never seen but understand to be a competition in which various instant “celebrities” have it off with each other somewhere in the tropics or subtropics.

The three girls who entertained the “celebrity” in turn were all English. The Germans have a word for it (as usual): Rassenschande.

The tweeter, above, has some sense, unlike the woman below:

https://twitter.com/Bidisha_online/status/1257834748107423745?s=20

She wants “full, policed lockdown, with clear orders…” I wonder whether she might be more at home somewhere like China, or North Korea? She has obviously no respect for what we English people used to call “civil rights”…

I was so struck by that tweet (though there are now many like it) and by the apparent fact that this Indian woman is (she claims— I had never heard of her) a regular face or voice on Sky and BBC, that I looked up her Wikipedia entry:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bidisha

Writer and talking head. Here, below, she claims to have been out of her house only three times in nearly two months! No wonder she tweets rubbish.

https://twitter.com/Bidisha_online/status/1257834002758750209?s=20

Looks like “Bidisha” peaked over a decade ago in career terms but is still making a good living (?) in the msm/literary milieu, while arguing for even more immigration into the UK…

As a matter of fact, “journalists” and other scribblers not only often fail to report the truth, or report untruth, but do not seem even to know it when it should be within the ambit of their own lived experience! Look at the blog post, below, by Anna Blundy, who was, at the end of the 1990s, the Bureau Chief in Moscow for the London Times.

https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/431674.Anna_Blundy

Ms. Blundy, who was (she says) part-basis for the fictional character Bridget Jones, writes this:

I was born in 1970 and grew up on my own with my mum while dad flew around the world to wars and summits. It was odd in those days, when most people didn’t go abroad, to be watching the news (in black and white) and taking it personally.”

When most people didn’t go abroad“? In (what must have been, at earliest) the late 1970s?! I can assure her that many many people, maybe even most people, in the UK did “go abroad” in the late 1970s! Maybe not to El Salvador, true…Do many go there even now? And she watched the TV news in black and white? In 1975 or 1980? Come on…

The lady now writes fiction, it seems. Good call.

Odd story

https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-person-dressed-as-scary-17th-century-plague-doctor-sought-by-police-11980536

What a country we live in. People can dress up in all sorts of appalling ways so long as they are on an “LGBT” march or the Notting Hill Carnival, and anyone objecting can FO, but one man or woman dressing like a 17thC “plague doctor” (presumably to satirize the present “lockdown” nonsense and/or Coronavirus scare) and the police are out seeking to find him to lecture him, in case he “scares” anyone. After the population has been scared out of its skin by its own government! You couldn’t make it up!

Happened to see this

All I can say is that when I was first appearing, as a “second six pupil” (green, newly-qualified, barrister), in the County Courts and magistrates’ courts in London in 1993, the lower criminal and family courts especially were awash with black barristers. I did some criminal work, but not family. If I am honest, in the next few years I saw not one black (or brown) barrister who was anything other than incompetent. Maybe I was unlucky…I even saw an appalling creature (with teeth sawn to points, like a cannibal) at the High Court in 1994, where he was (thanks to his friends on scandal-hit Lambeth Council) defending a judicial review application. I could say more, but what’s the point?

Ghastly…

A reader of my blog sent this: https://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2020/05/05/review-from-kosher-to-halal/

Home baking

Only for one brief period in my life did I any baking of bread; in the early 1980s. It lasted a few weeks. I got some excellent recipes from a book by the now-forgotten Robert Carrier (famous in the 1960s): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Carrier_(chef)

My first attempt and several others were all successful. It was only then that I went a bridge too far, making from Carrier’s book something called (if memory serves) Old English Spice Bread, which ended up the size, consistency and —almost— weight of a cannonball. It was not that I could not eat it, but that I could not even cut it! I tried to break it open by casting it down, with force, on a pavement. Result? a clunk, as if a piece of concrete had been dropped.

The cost was tremendous. A large amount of double cream, and various other ingredients. All for something half the size of a football and weighing a ton.

Ah…the wonder of the Internet… https://www.eatyourbooks.com/library/recipes/1852274/old-english-spice-bread

I might try ordinary brown bread again, if Waitrose ever has any flour or yeast or bicarb for sale again.

Turns out that Professor Ferguson broke his own lockdown in order to meet with his girlfriend (whose husband must be un mari complaisant). Ferguson has now resigned because of that trivia, not because his flawed advice (that there could be 250,000 deaths from Coronavirus in the UK) has led to the shutdown of most of the economy, to the imposition of a “police state-lite”, and maybe to the end of the UK as we have known it.

I knew as soon as I saw that bastard Ferguson that there was something wrong about him. I thought maybe drugs, but it seems that his craving lies elsewhere. It has to be admitted, though, that his girlfriend is not unattractive, on the face of it…

Meanwhile, Peter Hitchens has finally fallen out with Jewish Zionist Melanie “Mad Mel” Phillips:

Melanie Phillips is desperately trying to boost Boris-idiot by applauding his crazed “lockdown” nonsense. That has put Hitchens off her. I have to say, though, that his perspicacity fails him at times, as here below:

Was it really so surprising that a Jewess who is fanatically pro-Israel supported the war by which the major Western powers defeated one of the two or three greatest threats to Israel, i.e. Iraq under Saddam Hussein? Thus doing Israel’s dirty work. For which Israel paid not a shekel.

Anyway, back to the virus scare and the “lockdown” nonsense:

Hitchens has a long series of altercations with some Jew called Margulies, a lecturer in politics at the University of Essex, no less. The tweet below, is at or near the end of the exchange, as Margulies is put back in his box…

Good to see that the reputation of the University of Essex is being, er, maintained!

Soros and the Great Replacement of populations in Europe

The New World Order [NWO], imposed through Zionist Occupation Governments [ZOG] does not need real Europeans. It is replacing us with lesser types. One has to ask the question, is Coronavirus connected with all this manipulation?

We are not just condemning a generation of young people to long-term joblessness, we are also encumbering the country with levels of debt which it will take decades to pay off and could even linger into the 22nd century. Millie

The Jamaican singer, Millie (Millie Small) has died. 73 years old. So I must have been only 7 when her one UK hit came out and was frequently on the radio and TV. I remember it well, maybe partly because “Millie/Millard”— similarity of names.

West Indians were then (1964) few in the UK, incredibly (despite what the msm propaganda would have people believe now). In the early to mid 1960s, I cannot remember ever seeing one —one!—, even in the poorer parts of Reading, let alone where my family lived, on the border of South Oxfordshire), until my family returned to the UK in late 1969, after nearly three years in Australia.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millie_Small

1964. A different world.

Rory Stewart

Rory Stewart has pulled out of the contest for Mayor of London. I have added another update to my blog post of a year ago about him:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/05/03/will-rory-stewart-mp-be-prime-minister/

My first thoughts about Stewart (at the time, as potential Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister) underwent change as I discovered more about him. Now, my judgment is far less favourable than it was a year ago.

Derbyshire news

Derbyshire’s chief “woodentop” is to “retire”:

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/police-chief-whose-officers-filmed-21984105

Responsible not only for instituting a poundland KGB attitude to the public under the “lockdown” nonsense, but also in respect of the Alison Chabloz case. His “officers” (toytown police woodentops) behaved disgracefully on several occasions.

Now let’s hope that the Derbyshire voters also get rid of the “Police and Crime Commissioner” for that force, a dim Sikh who is in the pocket of the Jewish lobby.

“Lockdown” nonsense may start to be removed next week

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8292573/Boris-Johnson-admits-UKs-coronavirus-death-toll-appalling.html

About time. If I see much more of the (endlessly-repeated on radio and TV) braindead slogan “Stay at home; Protect the NHS; Save lives“, I myself may require immediate help as my blood-pressure goes into orbit.

Stray thoughts

Image

Was he wrong? I would have agreed with his sentiment even a year ago. Now? [sighs]…millions of rabbits under house arrest, scared of their own shadows, lining up six feet apart; then there are the bookburners who think that books written by those they and their sort call “Nazi” should be burned, destroyed etc….and the bookburners include crazed women in academia, “professors” of third-rate universities, writers, journalists…the very people who, even 30 years ago would mostly have supported at least basic intellectual freedom. And so on.

Tomorrow the rabbits and their police zookeepers will all be clapping on command (according to the msm lie machines, anyway…in fact, I suspect that relatively few are boring the pants off the rest of us…not much clapping  is happening where I live).

The general level of quality is shockingly low now in the UK, from government and Parliament to the Press and TV “journalists”, to teachers and exams, to the “learned professions” (certainly the Bar and the solicitors’ profession), to the degraded “universities” and their fake “professors”, to the police (now on the lowest level imaginable).

So, while I feel that “never say never”, on this occasion Enoch Powell may not be right…not in the exact terms, anyway.

Coronavirus: the official scare campaign continues

The goalposts are being moved: the official death toll in the UK from the virus is going to increase today or tomorrow, not because more people are dying but because if any link with the virus can be shown, that death will be added to the “Coronavirus” total!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8170065/UKs-coronavirus-death-toll-HIGHER-official-figures.html

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/reader-comments/p/comment/link/529137639

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/reader-comments/p/comment/link/529130731

But in better news Britain’s coronavirus outbreak is ‘starting to slow’ as rate of increase in hospital admissions ‘eases’, says government expert Neil Ferguson” [Daily Mail]

Exactly.

The weather is forecast to get wetter in Britain, possibly with over 80% humidity by next week. That will help, if it happens, because the virus cannot live in humidity above 81%, and humidity has been well below that, around 50% or 60%, for weeks now.

Meanwhile, the poundland KGB carries on

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8169827/Neil-Basu-warns-police-against-overzealous-enforcing-coronavirus-lockdown.html

I see that I was not alone when I blogged about the truly absurd over-reaction of some police during the “lockdown”. Now many msm reports, as well as those on Twitter, show police going well beyond both commonsense and their own powers (even beyond the new powers granted to them). Leading QCs and others have joined in. Good.

A cyclist receives a telling off from a police officer in Richmond Park this morning after being caught cycling through the park which had been forbidden, except for NHS workers, since Friday

[above: a police idiot shouts at a solitary cyclist cycling through a deserted Richmond Park]

As I have blogged previously, the incompetent Derbyshire Police, already notorious for their persecution of satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz (and being near the bottom of league tables for performance targets), have been, yet again, behaving like a poundland KGB:

One of Britain’s most decorated judges, Lord Sumption, who retired from the Supreme Court in 2018, also criticised Derbyshire Police for having ‘shamed our policing traditions’ after the force chased walkers with drones.

He added: ‘The tradition of policing in this country is that policemen are citizens in uniform, they are not members of a disciplined hierarchy operating just at the Government’s command.

Yet in some parts of the country the police have been trying to stop people from doing things like travelling to take exercise in the open country which are not contrary to the regulations simply because ministers have said that they would prefer us not to.

The police have no power to enforce ministers’ preferences but only legal regulations which don’t go anything like as far as the Government’s guidance.

‘I have to say that the behaviour of Derbyshire Police in trying to shame people in using their undoubted right to travel to take exercise in the country and wrecking beauty spots in the fells so people don’t want to go there is frankly disgraceful.

This is what a police state is like. It’s a state in which the Government can issue orders or express preferences with no legal authority and the police will enforce ministers’ wishes.'”

Greedy farmer

Ha ha! Someone called Tom Bradshaw, Vice-President of the National Farmers’ Union, heard on BBC Radio 4 Farming Today. Wants people, furloughed because of Coronavirus, to pick fruit and vegetables for low pay or for free, as some kind of civic duty! I can’t get over British farmers! When it suits them, they are brave independent farming business people who should be free to do as they wish; but at other times, they want people to volunteer to work for little or nothing, want to be featherbedded and subsidized and given money by government (taxpayers) just because they own land, or because they farm, or because their families have had that lifestyle for XYZ years…

Can this Toytown police state last?

How long will the British public tolerate this incipient police state?

British people are generally well-behaved and willing to comply with the occasional demands of police and other authorities. Also, in the present “crisis”, the UK public has shown that it wants to help society (look at the huge number who have volunteered). There is the additional point that many people have been, with reason, afraid of getting this latest virus from China. The whipped-up campaign by the authorities has certainly put millions in fear for their lives, though in fact the UK death toll at present works out as being only about 20 people per million population [1 April update: now 26 cases per million, but that may be because the criteria for the *statistics* have changed].

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

In other words, your chance of getting Coronavirus and also even simply knowing that you have it (because most infected people have either no, or only very mild, symptoms) is actually rather small. The chance that you will be seriously affected and have to stay in hospital is very small, about 3,000 to 1. The chance that you will die from it (in the UK) is about 1 chance in 50,000.

If this “house arrest of the whole population” goes on for “very long”, meaning, I think, more than a fw weeks, there will be a gradual rebellion against it unless the level of fear can be maintained or increased. Maybe that is why the msm is being told now that a different method of counting “Coronavirus” deaths is to be used, resulting in a different (higher) daily figure.

You can’t take it with you

I watched a Channel 4 documentary yesterday evening. Called something such as Putin— KGB Spy, something similar to that, anyway. Pretty dull and predictable. Channel 4 is a waste of government money (I had no idea until fairly recently that Ch4 is subsidized out of government funds).

The documentary rehashed the cases of Litvinenko and Politkovskaya as part of presenting a very poor and sketchy biog of Putin. It also examined the cases of Berezovsky and other Jew “oligarchs” in Russia.

At one point I did not know whether to laugh or scowl: on trial, the (half-) Jew corporate bandit Khodorkovsky shouted out about how Putin and the Russian state were acting like robbers, seizing his property. Impudent Jew rascal! He only had billions because he and the other Jew “oligarchs” had stolen the Russian economy in the 1990s from the Russian people, in blatant and scarcely-concealed theft.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Khodorkovsky#First_business_activities

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Khodorkovsky#Criminal_charges_and_incarceration

Berezovsky, of course, has gone up the chimney now.

Life is boring without money, but merely having a lot does not of itself bring happiness.

That documentary, though, said a lot about where Channel 4 now is. It is stale, dull, predictable.

Emily Thornberry

Mercifully, I missed most of a TV interview on either Sky News or BBC TV News this morning. Just caught the last 20 or so seconds, in which this joke-“socialist” pig-in-clover (who with her half-Jew husband, a High Court judge, owns 8 buy-to-let properties) gave out a few platitudes about the “necessity” for the Coronavirus “lockdown” (combined with a few fence-sitting remarks about the police doing a good job etc). She, and other pseudo-socialist parasites like her, are a major reason why Labour is in terminal decline now.

EmilyThornberryIsraelLobby

Labour insolvency?

As is known, the Jew-Zionist element is actively trying to make the Labour Party insolvent (the campaign started when Corbyn was still, actively, Leader):

The term “bankruptcy” (which, stricto sensu, applies only to individuals and partnerships) just shows that not all tweeters are lawyers!

Still, the Labour Party may become insolvent. The Jews are talking about setting up a new “Labour” party under their control or influence. Maybe they should drop the “Labour” label forever and just call their new party something else. The Bund? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Jewish_Labour_Bund

Coronavirus oddity

I notice that the UK has had about twice the number of confirmed cases as has had Turkey, but the death toll in the UK in absolute terms is about 9x more: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

In other words, the death rate from Coronavirus in the UK is about 4x or so higher than that in Turkey.

Reason(s)? I suppose that the main one is likely to be that Turkey is demographically a younger country than the UK. Persons under 14 make up a quarter of the population (in the UK 18%) and persons over 65 only 7% (in the UK, 16%):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey#Demographics

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom#Demographics

Coronavirus is (and, yes, I know that there are exceptions) basically an old person’s condition and fatal Coronavirus a very old person’s condition.

Idiotic magistrate

A defendant who is obviously a minor public nuisance with a mental problem. The penalty for his minor crime (minor unless you are an hysteric) was, however, excessive, in my view (read the report below). Also, the parting shot by the Chairman of the lay bench betrayed a wrong attitude:

Mackie, who receives £50 per week in benefits, was fined £500 and ordered to pay £135 costs. He agreed to pay off the fine at £5 per week. “I hope that really hurts you,” said the chair of the bench.” [Daily Mirror]

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/man-fined-500-repeatedly-flouting-21781826

Labour’s terminal decline continues

Further to my comment about pig-in-clover “Labour” careerist Emily Thornberry, above, I have just seen this:

It looks as though most people would not vote Labour even if it were the only party standing!

I myself, of course, have never been a supporter of any of the System parties. Objectively, the Jews really did a job on Labour as soon as relatively anti-Zionist Jeremy Corbyn took the reins of leadership in 2015. That Jewish campaign was instrumental in Labour’s defeat in the 2019 General Election.

Labour might even have won, to the extent of at least achieving a plurality of Commons seats, had that Jewish campaign not been carried on in the msm (and social media, but the TV and Press were more important). The Jews from the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake “charity” even boasted about it, openly:

Now the Jews want blood from Labour and have made a complaint to the police-state Equality and Human Rights Commission.

Former MP Ruth Smeeth (also formerly a “strictly protected” “confidential contact” of the US Embassy in London and official of Israeli propagada outfit BICOM).

The BNP, in 2010, was the last political party to be “investigated” by the EHRC. Such matters cost parties a great deal of money, which is why the Jews do it, to bleed parties dry.

The Jewish campaign against Labour has had a number of results. One is that we now have a government which is scarcely even British, and is mindblowingly incompetent, but is, perhaps because of that, willing to take bold measures, “going in where the angels fear to tread”. The result of that is that Labour, disunited, deflated, effectively leaderless, has become a total irrelevance, unable even to pretend to oppose the Government.

Look at that poll (above). Conservative Party– 54%. 54%! When was any party that high in the polls? I looked it up. It was in June 1997, a month after the General Election of that year, the party was Labour and the figure was 62%! Sic transit gloria mundi…

In fact, the previous high was in April 1990. Labour again, on 56%. I was unable to access all the figures for previous decades, but the Conservative-led National Government achieved 54% in 1939, just before the start of the disastrous war against the German Reich.

I am now 63. I was born in 1956. I have been interested in politics since 1966 and in UK party politics intermittently since then and particularly since the early 1970s.

I do not think that, even in the days of Michael Foot, that ghastly little hypocrite, Labour has ever been quite so irrelevant, sidelined and without influence as it now is.

The Conservatives continue to ride high, not from their own merit, but because there is no real political opposition to them now. Not from Labour, even less from the LibDems, who will disappear very soon. A social-national party must emerge in England and Wales. It may not get the support of 54% of the people prior to its victory, but it might get 34% or 24% and, in a situation of continuing crisis, that might be enough to seize power, if it is a tightly-controlled vanguard.

Gene types

Talk about “gene types”! Look at this Jew!

The late and unlamented Leon Brittan [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leon_Brittan]? in fact, not so. The photograph above is a Jewish fraudster called Freddy David, who features in the article below, which was sent to me: https://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2020/03/31/when-minorities-are-mighty-how-tiny-genetic-differences-can-have-huge-cultural-consequences/

Brittan’s photo is here below:

Interesting to note the strong tribal identity, though.

Evening foray

Went to Waitrose. Arrived an hour before close and read in the car for a while. Not many shoppers, but I noticed that every single one leaving the store had a pack of loo paper! Presumably, they are now limited to one pack.

Inside, the Handmaid’s Tale militia (Waitrose marshals), in their black clothing and woollen hats and scarves etc, were there but not so obvious as before. I did not notice whether the loo paper shelves were still being stripped (not when I last attended, 2 days ago), but dried pasta was mainly gone (obviously not for immediate use, because the fresh stuff was there in quantity). Kitchen roll plentiful, but limited to one pack per shopper; eggs also limited to one pack per shopper, the shelves largely but not entirely empty. The ones left were mostly the more expensive ones, such as Clarence Court Cotswold Old Legbar eggs. Everything else (except flour) seemed to be in good supply.

On leaving Waitrose’s precincts, I noticed that a police transit-type van was cruising around. There is a general atmosphere of slight unease now.

A final thought. Driving back to my humble home, I noticed again that there were more birds about or at least crossing my path. I had to brake, even at slow speeds, a couple of times. The increase in visibility of birds on or around roads was especially noticeable in semi-rural and suburbanized roads (as compared to rural lanes). In a way, a hopeful sign. Nature returns as humans pull back or disappear.

No “lockdown” in Sweden

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-52076293

Uh-oh…

The scientist whose calculations about the potentially devastating impact of the coronavirus directly led to the countrywide lockdown has been criticised in the past for flawed research.”

Professor Neil Ferguson, of the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College in London, produced a paper predicting that Britain was on course to lose 250,000 people during the coronavirus epidemic unless stringent measures were taken. His research is said to have convinced Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his advisors to introduce the lockdown.”

“However, it has now emerged that Ferguson has been criticised in the past for making predictions based on allegedly faulty assumptions which nevertheless shaped government strategies and impacted the UK economy…

[Daily Telegraph]

Swedish scientists are sceptical about the Imperial College research that predicted 250,000 deaths in the UK:

HS2 disaster steams on

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/mar/27/chris-packham-begins-legal-case-to-halt-hs2-amid-coronavirus-crisis

I have no idea why Chris Packham used to block me when I had a Twitter account (maybe afraid of the Jew lobby that eventually had me expelled), but I wish him well in blocking this disgusting and pointless HS2 project, which is just corporate vandalism.

As in respect of so many things in the UK, I have to say that British people are very patient, almost superhumanly so. Little sabotage, no violence, no “action directe”…

Meanwhile, more from Derbyshire’s poundland KGB plods…

If only Derbyshire Police were as efficient in dealing with actual real crime as they are in stopping the harmless pleasure of the local people who pay for their jobs, or in acting like a poundland KGB (as with the way in which they have repeatedly treated the satirical singer-singwriter Alison Chabloz).

Local resident Alex John Desmond wrote on Facebook: “This is a joke, the way this force is acting is not representative of policing by consent which is the way the UK is meant to be governed. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You have taken something beautiful and damaged it.” [Daily Mirror]

UK unready for Coronavirus

“Hate to point out the obvious, but UK has not embarked on the testing campaign because it would rapidly become apparent that we do not have the capacity. That would then lead to awkward questions about the wisdom of running down a country’s health service.

Far better to divert with Dunkirk, mass volunteer campaigns and hand clapping nonsense. Meanwhile our loved ones that work in the NHS are being sent like lambs to the slaughter without protective gear.” [Guardian reader’s comment]

Scotland: SNP rides high(er)

Note how the Conservative Party vote in Scotland is unchanged in both parts of the poll. The SNP’s yet-again increased and unchallenged supremacy is by default: the Conservatives cannot increase their Scottish vote at a time when their decade-long neglect of the NHS has been highlighted by Coronavirus; at the same time, the terminal decline of Labour and the LibDems continues, as it does South of Hadrian’s Wall.

I refuse to believe that (as I privately predicted would happen) the recent acquittal of Alex Salmond on sex crime charges was not a purely political act of loyalty by SNP partisans.

Coronavirus deaths decline

Yesterday, UK “COVID-19” deaths were fewer than in the day before, 20% fewer. I notice that BBC TV News had that as “deaths increase by 209 from the day before”, which is true as regards the total but gives a completely false impression.

In Italy too, the daily total is falling, in their case for the second consecutive day.

It looks as though the virus situation is plateauing across Europe, including the UK. We shall have to see what happens in the next week, but there again, as has been remarked upon, someone who dies with Coronavirus (and may have other serious conditions) is being marked down as having died from Coronavirus. The fact is that rather few people die from this virus alone.

In the next few days and weeks, we must continue to look critically and dispassionately at the Covid-19 evidence as it comes in. Above all else, we must keep an open mind — and look for what is, not for what we fear might be.” [John Lee, former NHS consultant in pathology, and professor in pathology, in the Spectator]

https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/The-evidence-on-Covid-19-is-not-as-clear-as-we-think

The fact is that, arguably for the best of reasons, the people of the UK have been put into house arrest for an indefinite period. I do not think that it can last for very long. It will last so long as people feel both afraid of the virus and willing to do what they are told is “the right thing”. The police cannot enforce these dictatorial restrictions by their own power, but only so long as people, or the people, tolerate them.

Diary Blog, 27 March 2020

This follows Hitchens’ tweets and Daily Mail column:

When I saw that initial Peter Hitchens article, I was sceptical, thinking that strict temporary measures were probably necessary to deal with the Coronavirus crisis. Now I have modified my view about both what is happening (while still recognizing the very serious nature of the virus situation) and especially about the repressive laws and overarching “enabling” legislation.

Hitchens again:

https://www.itv.com/news/calendar/2020-03-26/humberside-police-creates-online-portal-to-report-people-not-social-distancing/

The Daily Mail report below shows how the police are starting, once again (as with social media “crimes”), to get above themselves, zealously going well beyond the law and their own granted powers to hunt down people whom they decide should be lectured, spied upon or questioned. They also leave behind ordinary commonsense.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8155221/Chief-constable-Call-police-large-gatherings-defying-coronavirus-lockdown.html

Police officers spying on lone dog-walkers in the remote and deserted parts of the Peak District and other national parks; senior police acting as poundland generals, setting up roadblocks, getting their robots to question motorists about where they are going and “is your journey really necessary?” And so on.

In Derbyshire, police are using drones to spy on solitary dog walkers in the Peak District National Park, people walking miles from anyone else! The very same force that, in the Alison Chabloz case, revealed itself to be a comic opera Keystone Cops outfit and poundland KGB. Incidentally, Derbyshire Police has long had one of the worst records in dealing with actual, real crime; you know, real crime, such as burglary, assault, GBH etc, not “someone said something about Jews on social media”, not “someone walked a dog in a remote part of the Peak District but we got her using our poundland KGB drone”.

Common-sense is lacking. A couple in a car or a man on a motorbike are not going to infect anyone, neither are they going to be infected, not while driving and riding. Of course, the same applies to a girl on a motorcycle…

Always ride safely, of course…

There are, as Hitchens and Delingpole say, a huge number of people who cannot wait to see the British people subjected to strict controls at all times. They also cannot wait to see people punished. Many of these “useful idiots” are those who identify with some kind of multikulti pseudo-socialism and spend most of their lives virtue-signalling on Twitter.

Why shouldn’t someone drive from a town to a deserted part of the country and walk a dog or just walk, with or without someone from the same dwelling? The danger of infection (from or to) is much greater in an urban or suburban setting where more people are likely to be encountered.

There are a few brave voices being raised in defence of reasonable freedoms. I do not much like what I have seen on TV and in print of James Delingpole, but this is a courageous and surely correct article:

A big beast breaks from cover

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/coronavirus-gordon-brown-global-government-un-g20-covid-19-a9427376.html

So Gordon Brown, formerly a major UK political face of the international finance-capitalist conspiracy (or, if you prefer, “consensus”), has come out of hiding to call openly for a one-world dictatorship…It took him a while, but he has now done it.

Give that man a cee-gar!

As soon as the soap opera of Harry and the Royal Mulatta began to unravel, I predicted that they would end up living somewhere like Bel Air or Beverly Hills, with Harry as that stock comic character of American TV, a kind of house-husband, run ragged by his petulant “younger wife” (in fact she is 4 years older than Harry). Royal Married with Children… Well, that has now come to pass: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/royal-family/2020/03/27/prince-harry-meghan-move-california/

Statistical anomaly

It seems that Jews in the UK have been hard hit by Coronavirus and that 5% of all deaths in the UK have occurred within the Jewish element. I am not a statistician, of course, but this seems to me very high, bearing in mind that Jews are supposedly only about 0.3% of the entire UK-resident population. That means that Jews are not only being hit harder (as far as actual deaths are concerned) than non-Jews, but nearly 20 times as much.

I suppose that one has to take into account the fact that London, which is now such a dustbin of peoples, is the epicentre or “hotspot” for Coronavirus in the UK. I read that North West London, the most Jewish part of London, is the hotspot within the hotspot. In fact, the borough of Barnet is said to be the most infected of all.

That in itself does not quite explain why. Is it because Jews travel on business more than most non-Jews (e.g. English people)? I have no idea. Not every Jew is a diamond dealer or finance industry operative, flitting from London to Antwerp to Zurich and on to Moscow or Kiev.

Unemployment: the DWP system cannot cope

Half a million people have just registered as unemployed in the UK, in one week! The DWP system was unable to cope before Coronavirus “lockdown”. Now? Look at what that idiotic creature, Therese Coffey, is saying!

Regular readers of my blog will be aware that I have previously blogged about Therese Coffey: https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/09/16/deadhead-mps-an-occasional-series-the-therese-coffey-story/

People are waking up…

https://twitter.com/LlewellynParry/status/1233086765625479171?s=20

In fact, that tweeter is wrong. The global death total at time of writing is about 24,000, not 2,800. The principle remains, though.

Some tweets seen today

from India:

The new UK police state

The director of the human rights organisation Liberty has called the government’s new Coronavirus Act the biggest attack on British people’s freedoms in a generation.” [The Guardian]

Among various measures, the act, which passed on Wednesday, gives police powers to detain people and forcibly test people they suspect may be infectious, removes protections for those detained under the mental health act, and weakens judicial oversight of surveillance.

“Already on Thursday, the Guardian reported how police in North Yorkshire were proposing to set up road blocks to restrict people’s movements, while Derbyshire police used a drone to shame people who had driven to remote parts of the peak district during the lockdown.

In a statement marking the passage of the new law, Martha Spurrier, director of Liberty, said:

This new law is without doubt the biggest restriction on our individual and collective freedoms in a generation. What people may not realise is the extent of its powers, and how long they can be in place for.

It gives the authorities new powers to detain any one of us that they believe could be infected with the coronavirus.

It also removes vital safeguards in care standards, leaving many people who are already at risk, such as disabled people, at further risk, not only of poor care but also of potentially inhumane treatment.

While change is necessary, and some of the measures outlined in this legislation are entirely sensible, others are overbearing and, if left unchecked, could create more problems than they solve.

The breadth of this legislation is also extraordinary. It runs to more than 300 pages and includes some spectacular restrictions, including powers to rearrange or cancel elections.

We’ll beat this virus, but these measures must be a last resort in that battle and these powers must be removed as soon as possible. We cannot and must not sacrifice all of our hard-won rights and freedoms.”

More news about the nonsensical attitude of the police

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8159177/Police-forces-accused-overzealousness-follow-dog-walkers.html

The Met Police today fined a bakery boss £80 for criminal damage after she put temporary lines outside her shop to keep her customers safe from coronavirus….The officer told the flabbergasted woman that she had graffitied the pavement and if police failed to punish crimes like these there would be ‘anarchy’, adding: ‘I can’t help the law. We’re going to be ticketing soon to stop people congregating – is that wrong too?’.” [Daily Mail]

No wonder that the more elite police used to call their uniformed colleagues “wooden-tops”!

It came as police forces across the country are facing accusations of overzealousness as they use sweeping new powers to crack down on people flouting the coronavirus lockdown, using road blocks, drones and helicopters to enforce it.” [Daily Mail]

Critics say the unprecedented powers handed to officers by ministers will see the country ‘sliding into dystopia.'”

As the row intensified today, Leading QC Matthew Ryder said there was an ‘overwhelming consensus from lawyers that police trying to restrict people to ’emergency travel only’ is unlawful.‘”

Former MPs also claim police are ‘showing an astounding lack of judgement’ and needed to exercise ‘common sense and respect’ and use their powers elsewhere.

But chairman of the National Police Chiefs’ Council, Martin Hewitt, doubled down on the measures, telling the BBC: ‘This is a national emergency, not a national holiday.’

[Daily Mail]

Well, there it is. Police go mad, but are backed by senior national police officers who plainly lack both real intelligence and common-sense. If the police were told by the “weirdos and misfits” now at the heart of “democratic” government to herd us all into some UK GULAG system, they would do it. No question.

The fact is that the police are in danger of becoming an irrelevance, not very good at preventing or dealing with ordinary crime (their main job), better at investigating the odd egregious murder or ultra-high-value robbery, but preferring to act as, indeed, a poundland KGB, censoring and interfering with such matters as social media posts (often completely lawful even under the present repressive legal regime), or “enforcing” (and in fact going well beyond) the rules now laid down by an illegitimate ZOG political regime headed by a clown.

In fact, read this:

Appearing on BBC Breakfast today, Superintendent Steve Pont from Derbyshire Police hit back at allegations he was ‘shaming’ dog walkers, claiming people were ‘looking for excuses and loopholes as to why they don’t need to stay at home when everyone else does.’ Supt Pont said his force was, ‘here to apply the law the government makes.’

[Daily Mail, about BBC TV Breakfast]

There we have the problem in a nutshell. A relatively senior officer of the police says that people were “looking for excuses and loopholes as to why they don’t need to stay at home when everyone else does.“, when in fact people, even under the absurd new law, do not have to stay at home. They are entitled to take daily exercise alone or with co-habitees, they are not prohibited from driving to that place of permitted exercise, they are not prohibited from driving a car or motorbike there or, arguably, anywhere so long as they do not get out and socialize. They are also permitted to shop for food, drink, medicine etc and are not prohibited from driving to shop.

Superintendent Plod, I mean Pont, of Derbyshire Police, has just decided to remake the new law in his own mind as “everyone has to stay at home unless the police permit”. No. No. No.

These social measures, now nodded into law overnight by 650 “democratically elected” idiots, cannot work unless the public supports them and plays ball. The police, by their panic-stricken bullying, risk being ignored if they keep pushing like this. The police should remind themselves that, if everyone ignores them, they are all but powerless.

People —or at least 99% of people— are willing to take reasonable measures to self-isolate, only shop or exercize with care once daily, socially distance, not socialize etc, but the hectoring and basically silly attitude of the police risks alienation of that public.

What after Coronavirus?

Coronavirus will not last longer than (maybe) June in the UK. By that time, either people will have had it (and recovered, in most cases) or infection will not be happening (because the virus lasts for only 1-4 weeks in people: those infected either do not show symptoms, or suffer from them, or die, within a few weeks of being infected); the virus only lasts for hours, days or, exceptionally, weeks on surfaces. The crisis should therefore be over by early Summer. Its damage to our politics, economy (especially) and law will then become apparent.

I need to blog separately about this.

Evening foray

No evening (or daytime) expedition to shops today. In fact, I have been the ideal “UK Coronavirus” citizen, sleeping half the day away and spending most of the rest of the time on the Internet, connected to the wide world.

I noticed that there was a beautiful crescent Moon, completely on its side like a Grail symbol. A planet (Venus?) was very clear too. Must have something to do with the clearer air across the world.

Final thought

Coronavirus will be effectively over by June or July this year, i.e. 3-4 months. The new government powers last until 2022 and the first vote to dispense with them will be only in September 2020. Will the System find an excuse to renew the powers?

Midnight…

Alison Chabloz and the conspiracy to silence her

Yesterday’s (10 January 2020) hearing at Derby Crown Court was presided over by HH Judge Egbuna, who remarked that it was “vital” to ascertain whether the decision of the National Probation Service to press for prosecution of Alison Chabloz on the ground of breach of condition had been taken “professionally” or whether the decision had been a result of “political motivation”.

The judge was informed by Prosecution Counsel that the decision to proceed with a prosecution (and so trial for breach) was not taken or initiated by Alison Chabloz’s probation officer, as would be the normal situation; neither was that decision taken by his supervisor. It was the decision of someone above those levels.

Sounds as though the judge is seriously worried by possible interference in the judicial and quasi-judicial processes by (((someone))) or (((some organization)))…

The judge declared that Alison’s trial could not proceed until it had been established on what basis or bases the decision to prosecute had been taken, and by whom. The matter has now been adjourned until 25 June 2020.

That, however was not the end of (((their))) manipulations for the day. Alison Chabloz was arrested at court and taken to Derby Police Station, where she was “interviewed” (interrogated) by detectives about a complaint made by (((   ))). At length, late in the evening, she was given police bail until a date in mid-February, but only on the condition that she not post on her blog. That disgraceful “police-state” prohibition will, I apprehend, be challenged in court before very long.

Well, there we have it. A contrived “complaint” with the sole (main) aim of preventing Alison Chabloz from exercizing her right to free speech (which right “they” have almost destroyed in the UK, aided by “me too” rabbits on Twitter and elsewhere). What other objective? Well, I suppose that it also inconvenienced Alison Chabloz, and their little minds love to do things like that, as witness the false and malicious complaint the same “people” made about me three years ago:

https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/

It is about time that the police and CPS woke up to the fact that they are being manipulated and used by the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake charity.

England has now become a country in which a police desk sergeant in deepest darkest Derbyshire can decide (was it really his decision?) not to allow a British citizen the right to post on the Internet! “They” have destroyed our freedom for their own tribal ends.

Note

I have had comments made on my blog to the effect that the Derby Crown Court imposed the Internet prohibition, not the police, but as yet I do not have confirmation of that. [please see the Updates, below]

France

While we are talking about “them”, we should take a brief look at France. Famously, ex-Rothschild’s gopher Emmanuel Macron set up “his own” (oh, yes, his own, I think not!) pop-up “party”, called it En Marche! and became President of France, having beaten Marine le Pen, who (unlike Macron) was not backed by System political drones all over Europe (Macron was invited to meet both Theresa May and Frau Merkel before he had even been elected!).

Macron is a very strange character: see https://ianrmillard.wordpress.com/2019/01/09/on-recent-events-in-france/

Well, the “Gilets Jaunes” protests and similar dissensions are still continuing, and are being met with typical ZOG repression:

“For some reason”? Just as, “for some reason” the UK ZOG regime ignores the human rights abuses of the Zionist lobby (see the Alison Chabloz case above)…

Tintagel

I was interested to see this, about the main hotel at Tintagel, in North Cornwall:

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/jan/11/trum-and-farage-supporter-flies-flag-for-qanon-rar-right-conspiracy

It seems to be hard to find a name for it that is not vulgar. At one time it was called the King Arthur’s Castle Hotel, I think, and is now the Camelot Castle Hotel.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tintagel#Hotels

I stayed there once myself, but before (((those))) who “monitor” my blog get excited, I was not very engaged politically at the time (late 2001) and never met the owner, one Mappin, who inherited a large chunk of the Mappin & Webb jewellery business https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mappin_%26_Webb

I remember my stay there well. It was about a week or so before Christmas. Wet, windy, stormy in fact. My wife and I were looking around possible homes in the South West (we found one in the end, at least for a couple of years). Needing a place to stay overnight, I chose this castle hotel, which is right on the cliff at Tintagel.

I understand that the hotel has since been refurbished. At that time, though, it had an impressive if slightly gloomy ambience. In fact it was not much like a hotel at all. For one thing, despite the size of the place, my wife and I were the only guests. Also, the staff on duty that evening seemed to consist of a middle-aged couple: a pleasant but rather eccentric Austrian (I think) woman and her husband, I think English, bearded, rather lacking in joie de vivre and whose realm seemed to be the cavernous and dimly-lit bar, where he was deep in conversation with (I presumed) a friend.

We were shown several rooms, and ended up in what was, I think, the most expensive (£200 a night B&B, in 2001…well overpriced for what was offered). The room was very large, very cold (there was an almost antique double-bar fire set into the wall) and contained a four-poster bed. We were told that Elgar had stayed for some time in that room. I later discovered that he had composed much of his Second Symphony there:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphony_No._2_(Elgar)#Extra-musical_considerations

I believe that numerous other artistic and other luminaries have stayed in that hotel in the past; Arnold Bax and Yeats among them.

The hotel was so shut down when I visited that it was unable to offer its guests (us) even a snack. We were advised that the inns in Tintagel village, which starts near where the hotel driveway ends, were good. We found simple pleasant Cornish fare at such an inn and then returned to the castle for a couple of drinks in the Great Hall (and it really deserves its title), alone apart from the bearded retainer who brought the drinks. A memorable experience, to sit there before a huge open fire reminiscent of an Errol Flynn film, the storm blowing outside.

In the morning, breakfast was served by an aged waitress, her tiny grand-daughter (in fact probably great-grand-daughter), aged about 3 or 4 (I am no good at guessing children’s ages) holding on to the woman’s skirts as our food and coffee were served to us (no point in having a buffet when only two people are breakfasting, of course). The huge breakfast gallery (in which we were still the only guests) overlooked the tempestuous sea breaking on the jagged rocks below. Shades of Rebecca

Alison Chabloz update, 2300 hrs

Ha ha! I should send that to Alison Chabloz’s solicitor and Counsel! They could probably do with a good laugh! It is, of course, nonsense.

More detail from yesterday’s proceedings and activities:

  • Bail set by the the judge at Crown Court was unconditional;
  • The purported Internet/blog restriction was laid down by a Derbyshire police detective-sergeant and relates to the police bail granted in the evening vis-a-vis the latest malicious complaint made by (((  ))), not to the Crown Court proceedings;

Another interesting remark was, it seems, made by Prosecution Counsel to the judge at the Crown Court hearing, to the effect that, after he, Counsel for the Prosecution, sees whatever disclosure is made by the police and CPS, he himself might be minded to concede that there were no proper grounds for the prosecution.

If the above account is accurate, I am beginning to think that Alison Chabloz is on the home stretch here…

Update, 19 August 2020

As I predicted in the above update (of same date as, but later in time than, the original blog), the CPS decided in the end not to oppose Alison Chabloz’s appeal in the Crown Court. The CPS weaselled about how they still believed that her prosecution for breach was correct, but that in all the circumstances, the Crown would concede. They even brought in “Coronavirus”, the thick planks!

In reality, there is no way that the CPS wanted to admit that David Gauke (the then Justice Secretary), the CPS, and the privatiized probation monkeys (not to mention the police, including the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire, some thick Sikh) had been got at by the Jewish lobby. Result? Complete victory for Alison Chabloz. She and her Counsel did not even have to appear at Derby Crown Court; the matter was simply taken out of the list. Ha.
