I suppose that I am old-fashioned enough to tend to think that someone called “Darren” should never be an MP in the first place but, leaving that (which I concede is probably unfair) aside, this particular Darren is the very personification of the German saying “put a beggar on a horse and he rides it to death.“

According to Wikipedia, the weasel is married to some fake “social entrepreneur” whose business failed. She is now apparently making money out of the “net zero” nonsense championed by the fake “Labour” government of which her own husband is a key member.

Jones is a member of Labour Friends of Israel, like all or almost all of the Starmer-stein government.

Listen to his dishonest weaselling in that Victoria Derbyshire interview. A soulless, heartless careerist.

It is almost funny how typical Westminster Bubble scribbler/talking-head types such as Nicholas Watt talk about speculative economic figures as if they have some kind of reality. “Real disposable household income to rise this year by twice as much as expected“…as of now, just empty words from “Rachel from Accounts”; meaningless.

I agree. Basic Income (at some level or levels) is the way to go. Do away with making amputees, the chronically-sick, and/or the unemployed jump through hoops. Shut down 90% of the DWP, and much of HMRC (which latter is like something written by Franz Kafka).

Not just a question of fairness or compassion. Basic Income works.

The first test of the public mood will probably be the Runcorn and Helsby by-election, about which I have blogged in the past few days. The pollsters and bookmakers are forecasting a probably marginal or modest win for Reform UK. I disagree, though I do see from where that comes, looking at the fact that, in 2024, the constituency was the 16th-safest Labour seat. However, much has changed since the General Election of 2024 and, in any case, only 4 out of every 20 eligible voters voted Labour even in 2024 (4 out of every 12 actual voters) in the country as a whole.

I am thinking that Reform will smash the by-election, despite the fact that Labour got over 50% in 2024 while Reform only got 18.1% (Cons 16%).

Everything has changed since July 2024:

a. the imperative desire to kick out a “Conservative” government headed by a (perceivedly) “unelected” and non-white PM (by voting Labour) is no longer there;

b. the continuing migration-invasion;

c. the harsh sentences given to people who supported the anti-invader protesters last summer;

d. the taking away of the pensioners’ Winter Fuel Allowance money;

e. the freeloading —and what amounts to casual petty corruption— of Starmer-stein, Rachel Reeves, Angela Rayner etc.

Now also the latest terrible attack on the sick, disabled, and unemployed, as bad as anything done by the Conservative Party in office 2010-2024.

Former Labour voters will either not vote or will change to Reform, to punish Labour. Former Conservative voters will (though how many ?) vote Reform as a quite (and the only) realistic way of sticking it to Labour, Starmer-stein and Rachel Reeves etc. People who favour Reform anyway will be motivated to vote because they know that this time they can win. People normally perhaps unlikely to vote, but who want to yell “NO!” to everything happening in this country, will mostly vote Reform.

On that basis, I think that it is possible that there could be a stunning win for Reform. If that happens, it will be the death-knell of the Starmer-stein fake “Labour”-label government, despite the fact that it has 4+ years left in office, in theory.

Election Day has not yet been notified but is widely expected to be 1 May 2025. Just under 5 weeks from today.

There is no Labour Party now, as previously understood, just one of the several labels behind which is NWO/ZOG, Israeli manipulation, Jewish-lobby manipulation etc. The Conservative Party is the other main label. Both are losing not only public support, but almost all connection with the public.

Many of the present MPs only fear one thing.

Leaving that aside, it will be great to see hundreds of those petty careerists lose their seats, and their salaries and expenses. That was the best thing about the 2024 General Election, when hundreds of “Conservative” MPs lost their comfortable way of life. I hope to see the same (if not more, and “worse”) applied to the present Labour Party MPs.

The Torsten Bell idiot reiterates the now-standard bs (first seen per Dunce Duncan Smith etc, during the 2010-2015 years of the Cameron-Levita “Conservative” government) about how cutting the income of those already poor or very poor somehow saves them from being “written off”! When I see lying hypocrites and System careerists such as Torsten Bell, I think “that is why you need concentration camps” (at very least).

I see from Wikipedia that that Bell individual is 42, 43 later this year; looks and sounds like a recent graduate, though he must have graduated 20 years ago. No weight, very very unconvincing, and also very plainly in it (politics) for his own benefit.

That little Torsten Bell blot seems oblivious to the fact that, in contrasting what the Starmer-stein “Labour”-label misgovernment is doing with what he calls the “Tory welfare system“, he is actually presenting even the cruel/callous policies of the Conservatives from 2010-2024 as having been better (less cruel and less callous) than those of Starmer-stein, “Rachel from Accounts” Reeves, and Liz Kendall.

I thought that that tweet was worth reproducing in detail, especially since the lady who tweeted it later deleted it for some reason (possibly upset).

Voters of Runcorn and Helsby, send this evil “Labour”-label misgovernment a message by voting Reform at the upcoming by-election. No matter if you do not like Farage, or disagree with some Reform policies. The thing to do is to stick it to both Labour and the equally-misnamed Conservatives.

In an ideal world, I should like very bad things to happen to many System politicians but, in view of the fact that we live in a gradually-encroaching police state, I prefer to say no more, and to let the readers of the blog read between the lines.

Labour support declining even among formerly enthusiastic young people (I think it stood at about 80% at one point a couple of years ago); interestingly, Reform support has grown from just a few percent to 13% over the past couple of years.

Because Starmer-stein’s own attitude has transmitted itself to his Cabinet and thence to almost all Labour MPs…i.e. “we are the masters now“, but I remember how rattled and, in a word, scared, they all were when the so-called “riots” (protests) happened last summer. I think they were at least slightly wondering whether they would end up dangling from lamp-posts, as happened to the Communist secret policemen of the HVA after the eruption of the Hungarian Uprising in 1956.

The arrogant and cruel attitude of the Starmer-stein government might and in fact would turn to grovelling supplication if a British uprising were to occur.

On the wider question, Basic Income is the only way forward.

If Reform can win the Runcorn and Helsby by-election, the momentum created will weaken fake Labour even more, and all but finish off the increasingly less relevant “Conservative” Party.

“Their” thirst for blood and revenge never stops.

Russian forces must advance on a broad front, until all of Eastern Ukraine is taken and held.

I once heard Ben Houchen on the radio. Quite impressive. In fact, more so than most “dirty democratic politicians“, as Hitler termed them. However, I have found in my life that, usually, the most impressive-seeming people are “all hat and no cattle“, in the Texan phrase.

I think that I must pen, sometime, a little monograph, in the manner of Sherlock Holmes, but not about types of cigar ash; about impressive-seeming people and how few of them achieve greatness or even adequacy.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson , the recording of which was published on the TCN (Tucker Carlson Network) website on February 9, said that Ukraine is an artificially created republic that appeared in 1922 during the formation of the USSR.

The West has already come to an understanding that it is impossible to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia; it will fight for its interests to the end. Vladimir Putin told American journalist Tucker Carlson about this.

Putin: The West fears a strong China more than a strong Russia because there are 150 million people in Russia, and one and a half billion in China, and the Chinese economy is developing by leaps and bounds – more than five percent a year, it was even more. “Good man” is debatable. After all, “no-one can rule guiltlessly” [Saint-Just], but Putin is certainly at least as good a man as those opposing him, both here and in Russia itself.

People usually want things to be black-and-white, simple. Not everything is black-and-white. Look at modern history. There were people, some people, in the SS and even, rather later, in the KGB and GRU, who meant well, were relatively honourable, and who might be described in the superficial sense as “good” people, and there were those in the USA and UK, and also in the internal opposition(s) to both National Socialist and Soviet socialist rule, who were rather “bad” people.

If life is a chess game, it is often “three-dimensional chess”.

It seems to me —as far as I have read etc— that Israel is now quite centralized on Tel Aviv and its region, though the Jerusalem area has as many or more inhabitants. The economy is centred on that region. The Israeli state can absorb a certain amount of conflict in border areas (Gaza, the Golan Heights and Northern Israel, even the West Bank), so long as the central belt around Tel Aviv is still functioning.

The increasing capabilities of Hezbollah, especially what seems to be their fast-upgraded missile programme, threaten Tel Aviv and the surrounding region. The Israeli ruling circles are therefore probably contemplating a massive attack on southern Lebanon to destroy the Hezbollah infrastructure before missiles of real power rain down on Tel Aviv.

The Israelis are willing to take a hit in terms of international perception of Israel, a public relations hit, and also an economic hit, so long as that Hezbollah infrastructure can be at least badly damaged.

Were Hezbollah or other powers able to heavily damage Tel Aviv itself, the Israeli economy would tank, and the exodus (?) of dual-passport Jews from Israel —30,000+ since October 2023— would become a flood.

Deadhead MPs, An Occasional Series: The Jess Phillips Story

So here we are again, in the “deadhead MPs” zone. The problem I have is that so very many MPs are now deadheads, meaning MPs who fall below the bar even for mediocrity. Mediocrity alone does not qualify an MP to be immortalized here. The MP must be outstandingly poor. How to say where that line is set, when so many now qualify? Anyway, having already chosen a number of MPs to participate in this series, here is a well-deserving example: Jess Phillips MP [Lab, Birmingham Yardley].

Jess Phillips

Background

Jess Phillips is the daughter of two “socialist”-oriented persons, who apparently walked around naked all the time at home, in front of their children. Very odd. Even the East Germans (some of them) only did that on specified Baltic beaches. The online magazine, Conservative Woman, commented thus:

“‘Teach girls at school about orgasms, says Labour MP’. That startling newspaper headline, alone, would have been sufficient for most readers to guess that the source was an interview given by that shameless self-publicist Jess Phillips.“

“Her interview also revealed that not only was Phillips brought up in a ‘naked household . . . an environment where nothing was embarrassing’, today in her own home she often goes around nude. Jess further boasts of being ‘open about sex’ with her two sons, currently aged 10 and 14, which must be delightful for them, though it is unclear whether or not she is clothed during their intimate chats.”

“If Phillips’s tale of home nudity is actually true and not a wind-up, far from being charmingly eccentric, it is revolting. Were a father revealed to be exposing himself to school-age daughters, with whom he frankly discusses sex, it would likely be career-ending, certainly for an MP, and might also interest both social services and police.”

“But don’t expect Jess Phillips to have her collar felt – she won’t be wearing one.”

Readers of the profile were not complimentary to Jess Phillips:

“Phillips is as mad as a barrel of polecats anyway. The fact that people actually vote for her is astonishing.”

and

“I’d like to like Jess Phillips, because at least she seems to have an infectious laugh. The trouble is, I remember her laughing also at male suicide statistics. Seemed to think it funny that suicide is the leading cause of death in British men aged 20-49. Not so funny really.”

It seems that her parents, though “socialist”, set up a private company in order to make money out of the NHS, her mother having been Deputy Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation and Chair of South Birmingham Mental Health Trust. That private company was active from 2003 until at least 2010, but is now defunct. Jess Phillips’ mother died in 2011.

Jess Phillips attended a local grammar school for girls, then the University of Leeds (Economic and Social History and Social Policy, a “soft” degree); she then took a post-graduate diploma in Public Sector Management at the University of Birmingham.

“At 16 I was a raver, a party animal to say the least. Weekends would start early on a Friday night, round at my friend’s house where we’d get ready. Then we’d be out, maybe to a local party at someone’s house. Then on Saturday it was an all-night rave until the wee small hours of Sunday.”

The only known jobs done by Jess Phillips are working for her parents until 2010 (when she was 29), and (from 2010) working as a business development manager at Women’s Aid domestic abuse charity. It is unclear for how long this position lasted. In the 2010-2015 period, Jess Phillips was also engaged in paid political activity as a councillor and as a member of at least two local quango panels. On occasion, Jess Phillips has made reference to having done waitressing and other work, but I think that we can be sure that we are talking days or weeks rather than months or years, assuming that she ever did those jobs at all.

Jess Phillips is married to one Tom Phillips. They have two children. I have been unable, as yet, to discover whether her husband is of Jewish or part-Jewish origin or indeed whether she herself is.

Controversies as MP

Jess Phillips

  • was selected as candidate not by open competition but via an approved “all-women shortlist”;
  • is a member of Labour Friends of Israel and has made a number of pro-Jewish interventions; Jews on Twitter etc often seem to give her support (may be part-Jew);
  • invented an altercation with Diane Abbott MP in which, Phillips claimed, “‘I roundly told her to fuck off.’ When asked what Ms Abbott did after that suggestion, Ms Phillips replied: ‘She fucked off.'” According to Diane Abbott in a January 2018 Guardian interview: “Jess Phillips never told me to fuck off. What was extraordinary is that she made a big deal of telling people she had”. Phillips later apologised.” [Huffington Post]
  • “Phillips told Owen Jones in December 2015 that she had told Corbyn and his staff “to their faces: ‘The day that … you are hurting us more than you are helping us, I won’t knife you in the back, I’ll knife you in the front‘”, if it looked as though he was damaging Labour’s chances of winning the next general election. Responding to criticism about her use of language, Phillips said on Twitter: “I am no more going to actually knife Jeremy Corbyn than I am actually a breath of fresh air, or a pain in the arse” [Wikipedia]
  • walks around in the nude at home, despite having two sons living with her;
  • has quarrelled with UKIP MEP candidate Carl Benjamin aka “Sargon of Akkad”, who said, in 2015, that “he would not even rape her”. Jess Phillips has now dredged that up, four years later, and has been making her usual and no doubt well-paid round of the TV and radio studios in order to make more publicity for herself out of it; she has even made complaint to the police about it, four years on (and, no doubt coincidentally, during the EU election campaign)!
  • has threatened several times to resign from the Labour Party but somehow never quite manages to do it (see below for details of how much money she drags down solely by being an MP);
  • “In July 2018 it was reported that Phillips served as deputy editor of The House, the in-house Parliamentary magazine published by the Dods Group, which had been purchased by Conservative Party donor and former Tory vice-chairman Michael Ashcroft, earning an annual salary of £8,000 for two hours’ work per month.” [Wikipedia]. So she does maybe 2 hours work each month for that obscure magazine, which pays her about £700 per month, i.e. about £350 an hour. Ambition

Conclusion

The mystery is (or would be, were it not so common in the House of Commons now) why this ignorant, uncultured, foul-mouthed creature was ever thought suitable to be an MP. Birmingham Yardley is a safe Labour seat, and it seems that no way exists for her to be removed, unless her local Labour Party deselects her. Incredibly, despite her saying time and again that Labour means nothing to her, she has been reselected. She makes a very good living out of being a caricature loudmouth MP, and I see no possibility that she will leave Labour unless another party offers her a continued sinecure. Unfortunately.
