Travelogue— St. Petersburg

Quite interesting, despite the occasionally (unintentionally-) amusing commentary. The title or subtitle is a bit silly (though arguably borne out by the content).

Worth seeing. The lady at 12:54, dressed in mauve, is particularly stylish.

Petersburg is one of the few cities in the world which I both want to see and have not already visited.

The video has certainly not discouraged me.

Same situation exists in the UK in respect of the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, a pack of malicious, lying, perjuring Jew-Zionists. Effectively a volunteer offshoot of the Israeli Embassy in London (albeit that some of them are paid out of large funds donated from wealthy Jews in the UK, and from Israel), they make unfounded and untrue allegations to police, professional regulators, and others (eg the Crown Prosecution Service), and try to close down venues hosting anyone supposedly “antisemitic”. Glastonbury is their latest large target.

Latest example? Published by the malicious “CAA” cabal only this morning:

A new day, and a new attempt to (as “they” themselves put it) “ruin” someone they call “antisemitic”

Does that mean that malicious liar Falter, and others, will be leaving the UK, and going to Israel (or the USA or elsewhere)? We have seen many such “threats” before from others, but they rarely seem to actually go…

[“Israeli Newspaper, regarding impact of Iranian missiles:

The shortage of Arrow missiles poses an increasing threat to the home front, as the fall of an iranian missile in a populated area could cause economic damage estimated at no less than 300 million shekels, according to Ministry of Defense estimates. The mayor of Bat Yam stated that a missile falling in his city left “the largest destruction site in Israel since its establishment,” noting that the explosion destroyed approximately 160 dunams and damaged about 120 buildings, including 20 buildings that were completely destroyed, killing nine people. He added: “And all this from just one missile.”

The cost of producing the most advanced generation Arrow missile is 12 million shekels, which is a huge amount, but the problem is not the price. What matters is filling the stockpile, because you do not press a button to get an interceptor missile.

At the heart of the current dispute lie interceptor missiles, particularly “Arrow 3 and 4.” These missiles are an extremely important means of countering missile attacks. International media reported concerns about a shortage of them, after the Iranians posed a major challenge to the Israeli defense system. According to security sources, all relevant parties in the Ministry of Finance have been informed of this, but the required budget has not yet been transferred.“]

Opinion polls supposedly ask questions of a representative sample of the population. Only about 80% of the UK population is now white/European. That suggests that pretty near 100% of real Brits want those predators, scavengers, and parasites, expelled or otherwise eliminated.

Of course, standards of education in the United States have always been poor. In the Second World War, German Military Intelligence officers were dumbfounded to discover, after the Normandy Landings of 1944, that many American military units were regularly supplied with comic books for the troops’ reading matter.

Anyone who has lived in the United States will be aware at what a rock-bottom level is the education and general knowledge even of many of those at university graduate or professional levels.

Unfortunately, that is also slowly becoming more true of the UK than it was in the past.

[“More evidence that the NHS and ambulance service is unfit for purpose. This afternoon, I was walking through Huntingdon (Cambridgeshire) on my way to the station when I heard a thud and a scream behind me. I turned round to see that a woman had fallen on the broken paving stones and was writhing in pain. I and the owner of a nearby tattoo parlour went to assist. The woman was complaining of pain in her arms, legs, and left hip. She was in shock and very distressed. She said she didn’t feel she could get up, even with assistance. Her breathing was laboured. Fearful that she may have fractured her hip or limbs, and fearful of trying to move her, we agreed to call 999. Tattoo man made the call while I cleaned blood from her hands, comforted and reassured her. The call handler informed him that “a clinician will review the case and may call you back in the next four hours” (!) I take the phone, explain the woman is flat out on the pavement, can’t move, may have broken something, is in shock, and crying out in pain. I insist that we can’t just leave her on the hard pavement for 4 hours in the hope of a clinician deciding if an ambulance is needed, and that she needs to be checked out at the hospital asap. Any delay might exacerbate her injuries. Call handler says she is following protocol and that this ” is the most appropriate action”. I disagree, explain again that the woman has fallen on a concrete surface and can’t move, and her breathing is laboured, but it’s clear call handler won’t budge. The call ends with call handler telling me to shield the woman from the sun! Er… how? “Put a coat over her.” It’s 34C, and she’s telling me to procure a coat… I hang up, and after 5 mins, redial. A more switched on call handler responds this time. Ambulance arrives in about 8 mins. Had I not made that second call, the woman would have remained on the pavement for hours. The lady is now back at home.“]

Shocking, and a similar incident happened near me, at the local Waitrose, I think 2 years ago. By the time I passed by, the victim was already being attended to by Waitrose staff and some others, either her family or stray customers. I naturally assumed that an ambulance would be there before too long. In fact, Waitrose people told me the next day that an ambulance only arrived after 4 hours.

Having said that, I have also seen some sterling work both by ambulance paramedics and other NHS staff, but that is what happens in gradual societal collapse— it is indeed gradual, not the same everywhere, rather hit and miss.

Britain is not collapsing overnight, or in one year, or even in one decade. This is characteristic. When the Soviet Union eventually collapsed, and that took several years (some would argue, decades), the momentum of habit kept things running normally in places, even as near-chaos happened elsewhere.

I recall seeing a TV news piece from the BBC (I think) in the early 1990s about Yeltsin’s post-Soviet Russian society. I myself had already been there, in 1993, though not for long and only in and around Moscow.

In that news report, we saw a uniformed lady in some small place outside Moscow. She was the station-mistress of a very small railway station, just a halt really. Despite not having been paid at all for four years (!) she still kept the station clean, planted and weeded the flower troughs, and was there for most of the arrivals and departures during the day.

Was it Aristotle who said that civilization was immanent, something inherent, or inborn? Maybe it was St. Thomas Aquinas. Ah…looking now at Wikipedia, it seems not; quite the reverse, in fact: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immanence.

Never mind. My point here is that people often go on doing their duty even as society decays and collapses. Some people, anyway.

The NHS is a bit of a touchstone in the UK. For some, it is unique, envied worldwide, the greatest development of Britain, ever, and staffed by wise medics, angelic nurses, and public-spirited support staff. For others, it is a giant waste of money, badly-organized, and run largely for the benefit of its own employees. Examples of all of the above can be found, even in the same hospital or relating to the same patient’s care, and easily enough.

The same with society generally. Parts of UK society can be seen, even today, as advanced, optimistic, worthy of admiration. Other parts of our society can, equally objectively, be seen as horrible, toxic, and worthy of being eradicated, exterminated.

A process such as the development, or decline, of a society cannot easily be seen fairly or accurately by people who themselves are within that process. cf. the “Fall of the Roman Empire”, a complex process that took place over hundreds of years.

Nevil Shute, quoting T.S. Eliot, put it well at the end of his once-famous novel On the Beach (as a child of 10-13 in 1960s Australia, I noticed that almost every house had a copy): “...this is how the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper“. Gradual mortality. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_Beach_(novel).

At what point do British people say that the present “one man one vote” supposedly representative “democracy” has become invalid (for several reasons, one being that only real English/Welsh/Scots/British people should be allowed to vote)? An open question.

I live only 15-20 miles from Southampton (depending on route etc). Alien, in several ways. As for Reading, I was born there (in 1956), but when I last saw it, some 18 years ago, 2007 I think, both the central parts and some of the outlying parts to the east had changed out of all recognition, though the area where I spent part of my childhood and part of my teenage years, Caversham Heights (on higher ground on the other side of the river from the main town) had not changed very much.

The Kiev regime is losing 1,000-2,000 soldiers daily, perhaps more (especially if you include medivac cases and desertions) . That is a rate of attrition that must lead to the collapse of the front-line before very long.

Rachel Reeves. Hateful woman. Member of Labour Friends of Israel. Thought she was so tough as she hit those she thought unable to defend themselves— pensioners, the sick, the disabled etc.

That horrible woman even contributed to a Jew-Israeli propaganda book about Auschwitz.

I am very glad she is being stamped on. I hope that that both continues and intensifies.

Ha ha…

As a confirmed “supporter” (near-agent) of Israel and the Jewish lobby, Rachel Reeves has no interest in the dead of Gaza (or the poor of the UK, come to that).

Labour is just a label now. In fact, one of its least impressive MPs, Jess Phillips (an expenses cheat, freeloader, and moneygrubber) admitted as much several years ago.

Rachel Reeves and her husband, combined, are dragging down a total of about half a million pounds a year.

I should love to see her lose her Commons seat too. 2029?

(i.e. the Israelis, and Jewish-Zionist interests generally).

My advice to her is to get on your broomstick and fly far away, until you are forgotten (should take a few weeks).

I love it when one of those smug, moneygrubbing, freeloading, careerist, pro-Jewish-lobby (even better) System MP drones is toppled, and crashes to oblivion (as Rachel Reeves surely will).

Had I a button that would send Reeves (and the entire Starmer-stein misgovernment, and the fake “Conservatives”, and some others) into orbit, I would not just press it, but make a fist and bang on it like Khrushchev did at the UN.

It follows that I have not one atom of sympathy, fake or other, for her. Au contraire.

Much of the “counter-terror” stuff in the UK is a fake, and a cover for repression of opinion unwanted by and disapproved by the System, or by special-interest groups such as —and mainly— the Jew-Zionist cabals (malicious nuisances such as the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, a kind of volunteer arm of the Israeli Embassy in the UK).

See also: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/05/30/one-mans-extremism-is-another-mans-struggle-for-liberty-and-justice/.

More “trans” nonsense. Why are so few people, even now, pointing out the sheer oddness of the fact that an absolute tidal wave of this stuff has crashed over the UK in, mainly, the past few years? What is happening? What is being encouraged to happen? What is behind it all?

I do not say “never believe the experts“, but the fact is that they (and, more so yet, scribblers pretending to be expert) are usually wrong, especially when they try to predict the future, or when unexpected events happen.

Examples? Professor Lindemann [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Lindemann,_1st_Viscount_Cherwell], Churchill’s scientific guru, thought that rockets as weapons could never work unless huge and propelled by solid fuel. Shortly after that, the V-1 and then V-2 rockets started to explode in and around London and elsewhere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-1_flying_bomb; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-2_rocket.

The recent “Covid” “panicdemic” showed up ignorance of the supposed experts of the so-called SAGE committee (I called it “DUMB”— Department Under Matt and Boris).

There are, actually hundreds of similar examples, especially if you move from scientific-milieu examples to those of politics and economics. Lenin thought that the Bolsheviks would come to power when the 1905 “Revolution” (uprising) was taking place. Wrong… and Lenin did not think that the Tsarist state of Russia would fall as a result of the first (Spring) Revolution of 1917. Wrong again…

Probably a poor-looking place even before the destruction, but these were people’s homes, now blasted by some of the war crimes of the Israeli military machine.

At first, I myself believed that the 2022 devastation in Bucha (a small township or suburb very close to, or effectively part of, Kiev) was a real event, albeit one committed by poorly-disciplined allies of Russia (Chechens etc). It is claimed that hundreds of civilians were killed and/or tortured.

Now, I wonder whether it ever happened at all (as reported). The much-photographed devastation seems to have been mainly in one small section of a single street; burnt-out Russian vehicles, destroyed single-storey houses etc. Hard to get to the truth. It may lie somewhere in the middle.

She seems to be mentally disturbed, and/or perhaps a drug-abuser. God help the USA (and Europe) if that crazed woman becomes U.S. President.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12896277/Vietnamese-restaurant-killed-300-cats-month-make-cat-soup-closes-good.html.

A restaurant that drowned three hundred cats a month to fuel Vietnam’s cruel meat trade has been closed for good.

The Gia Bảo restaurant in Thai Nguyen city, in the country’s northeast, ran a lucrative trade selling cats, likely including stolen pets, drowned in a bucket one after another.

For five years, Pham Quoc Doanh, 37, ran the establishment after struggling to feed his family selling ‘other normal food and drinks’.

‘It was then I tried selling cat meat since there was no other available restaurant serving this in the area,’ he told Metro.

Doanh reached out to the Humane Society International, campaigning to ban the trade in Vietnam, who offered him a one-time grant to set up a grocery store instead.

On December 6, he symbolically tore down the banners outside his slaughterhouse and restaurant and began a new life.

‘For a while now I have felt a genuine desire to leave the cruel cat meat business and switch to something else as soon as possible. When I think of all the thousands of cats I’ve slaughtered and served up here over the years, it’s upsetting,’ he said.

‘Cat theft is so common in Vietnam that I know many of the cats sold here were someone’s loved family companion, and I feel very sorry about that.’

An estimated one million cats are killed each year for their meat in Vietnam, according to the charity – despite 71 per cent of the population favouring a ban.

[Daily Mail]

Well, my opinion of Vietnam has never been very high (I admit that I have never actually been there), but at least 71% of the population apparently want this trade banned, and they do seem (from what I read today) to be taking steps in the right direction.

Kruk put forward the assumption that it will look like this: Zelensky addresses his generals with the words: “We must continue […] and break through the Russian defenses.” So he turns to his generals and realizes that none of them will follow him in this. Kruk estimates that the Ukrainian army is exhausted and that there is no продавница where Zelensky can buy new troops…

[Daily Mail]

Take away Zelensky’s ricebowl.

Russia cannot “lose” this war, whatever happens (unless there is a palace revolution in the Kremlin).

The best solution is for Russia to retain Crimea, take all of Ukraine east of the Dnieper, and also retain or take all of the coastal regions of the Black Sea and Sea of Azov to a depth of (arguende) 50 miles, including the city of Odessa. Kiev can either be taken by Russia or operated as a condominium, or maybe as a “free city” not fully controlled either by Russia or by a rump Ukrainian regime based (probably) in Lvov.

One in 12 people in Germany shares a right-wing extremist worldview, according to a new study published on Thursday.

The research by Friedrich Ebert Foundation has found that the number of people with far-right views has significantly increased in the past two years, and has exceeded 8%.

In the foundation’s 2020/2021 survey, less than 2% of the respondents had clearly expressed support for right-wing extremist views.

Researchers said the consequences of the Russia-Ukraine war, skyrocketing energy prices, and high inflation are creating challenges for the democratic parties in the center, and strengthening the far-right.

Insecurities and conflicts over who gets what and how much, are providing a gateway for right-wing extremist ideologies and anti-democratic attitudes,” the researchers said in a summary of their report.

According to the survey, trust in the institutions and in the functioning of democracy in Germany has fallen to below 60%.

The number of those who see themselves more to the right of the democratic center has significantly increased, from 9% to 15.5%.

More than 16% of those surveyed approved xenophobic statements, while 5.7% expressed antisemitic views. Some 4% played down crimes committed by Hitler and praised Nazi ideology or policies.”

Diary Blog, 20 October 2021, including Ludwig II of Bavaria

Interesting film

The above film (in German, but with English subtitles) came to my attention thanks to a reader of this blog. There have been other films about Ludwig II of Bavaria, notably that of the director, Visconti: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludwig_(film). I saw that film in the mid-1980s, but the original English-language version has been lost. The surviving dubbed versions (in Italian and German) are still available.

Ludwig II: a complex and disturbed person, but who left, famously, two great legacies— his castles, and the works of Wagner, who was supported financially by Ludwig.

What is less well-known (see the YouTube video below) is that Ludwig also did a huge amount to improve Bavaria in other ways, including the fields of education, transport and public sanitation.

Ludwig was one of two people considered as candidates suitable to be anointed as Kaiser of the united Germany. The other candidate was successful, and became Wilhelm II of Germany. The history of Germany and Europe might have been happier had Ludwig been chosen.

Wagner later went on to establish the Bayreuth Festspiel, which still exists (I myself have been to Bayreuth, though not to the Festspiel).

Why not? After all, the same number of hours could be worked; 10 hours per day. In fact, you could even have people work 3 days per week at 13 hours per day, but that might be seen as brutal, despite the great benefit of only having to work three days out of seven.

I daresay that many may question my reposting of tweets by Owen Jones (who is an ideologically-silly faux-“revolutionary”), particularly in view of the fact that he actually tweeted, some years ago, and to sinister Jewish-lobby sex pest and depressive John Woodcock (then a disloyal “Labour” MP, now posing as “Lord Walney”), that “John” should “block that guy [me]— he’s a neo-Nazi” (Woodcock complied, at once…makes one think).

My answer is that I do sometimes repost those whom I dislike or despise, if they make valid and/or accurate points. #MoralHighGround…

My assessment of Jones, from a couple of years ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/04/a-brief-word-about-owen-jones/.

Much of the attack on free speech in Britain today, and for decades past, has come from the Jewish lobby. Most of the sources of msm news and comment are controlled by that same lobby, or cabal.

I myself have been attacked over the years, by fanatical Jews belonging to the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] and/or “UK Lawyers for Israel” [“UKLFI”], there being a considerable overlap in membership. See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/; https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.

The attacks on me did not start in 2014, and did not end in 2017. However, I am still here and, while my Twitter account was closed down at the instigation of the Jew-Zionists in 2018, my blog (started in late 2016) is still up and firing, so far.

As for the fanatics who oppose me, they all seem to be dying…; in fact, a number have already died, I believe. “Instant karma”, or just unconnected karma?

There is a huge attack on freedom of expression across the Western world (in much of the rest of the world, such freedom rarely existed anyway). Most of the attack is by the Jewish-Zionist element.

…yet Coren, a Jew, is still lucratively employed by the mass media, despite his disgusting behaviour. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giles_Coren; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giles_Coren#Tweets_about_the_death_of_Dawn_Foster; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giles_Coren#Polish_controversy.

Contrast that with my own treatment— disbarred, wrongfully, for having tweeted general comments about society and politics (in the end, just 5 tweets!). In fact, all of those tweets have stood the test of time, such as the one about the corrupt little Jew, Sarkozy, and that about Jewish-lobby puppet and expenses cheat, Michael Gove (at the time, I did not know that the little bastard was (or is still?) also both a drunk and a cocaine abuser).

Note: I should add that I was actually quite wrongfully disbarred in 2016. Not my assertion alone, incidentally.

In fact, the Bar Standards Board wrote to me a couple of years after my “trial” in 2016 to offer me a “retrial” (new hearing), because I should have been “tried” before a 3-person Tribunal panel (which has no power to disbar) instead of a 5-person panel (which does have the power to disbar).

I decided not to bother with a new hearing, partly because I thought that, had it gone back to Tribunal, and had I then been found “guilty” (such terminology is not in fact used), I might have been fined, and had no money with which to pay any likely fine. Maybe I was wrong. Still, I may change my mind, just to spite (((them)))!

Further, since the notorious Henry Hendron cases, it has been accepted that a barrister not holding a Practice Certificate both at time of “offence” and time of Tribunal, cannot be “tried” at all by the Bar regulation system, let alone disbarred. I myself last held a Practice Certificate in 2008, six years before the Jews (“UKLFI”) made their complaint against me, and two years before I joined Twitter.

As said above, I may decide to have the notional disbarment deleted, just to make the point, though obviously (?), at age 65, I have no wish to return to the practising Bar (which is now a dustbin full of trash anyway).

Readers might like to note also, that (contrary to what they may now read about me, as tweeted by a few crazed and fanatical Jews on Twitter) when I was at the practising Bar, I was mentioned favourably in the main legal directories, and was commended for my legal expositions, on several occasions, by judges in the High Court and County Court. As people say today, “just saying…”.

You can see where this is going: to get your (2022? 2023? later?) “Covid Social Passport”, you will have to get a monthly or three-monthly injection of useless rubbish. If you refuse to have it, or if the State thinks that you should be “denied” it (for the wrong opinions, or for dissident activities) then no injection, which = no right to travel, work away from home, get State benefits (because unable to attend DWP interviews etc), use shops, use NHS facilities, get medical or dental treatment, participate in public political activity etc. Effectively, house imprisonment, and a lingering death, ultimately….
