It has been said before on the blog, but…that, believe it or not, is our “Deputy Prime Minister”, a thick-as-two-short-planks woman with no cultural or intellectual background to speak of, and whose leisure pursuits (preferably paid for by others) include noisy brainless “clubs” in Ibiza, “vaping”, being tattooed (it appears), and God-knows-what else.

Sometimes even I find it hard to believe how far this country has fallen.

Looking at Twitter/X, it seems that many are assuming that Angela Rayner will replace Starmer as Labour Party leader eventually. Really? I have no time for Starmer-stein, but…Angela Rayner? Well, hopefully, Labour is going down to historic defeat in a few years, so the “Deputy Prime Minister” will never actually occupy 10, Downing Street.

On the wider picture, I now find this country one that, increasingly, I do not recognize, and filled with the sort of people with whom I have nothing at all in common beyond breathing and other core necessities.

More accurately, or put more simply, “they” do not empathize…

Indeed, she has nothing, beyond an unmerited position and its consequent high salary and expenses (Rayner has just bought another property, a third home, this time in Hove, Sussex).

The Notting Hill Carnival, born as a tiny entity in 1966, and which still only involved 500 participants or so in the early 1970s, has become a monster. It is actually horrible.

I went once, out of curiosity. That would have been sometime in the early to mid 1980s, but I forget which exact year. My impressions: unpleasant and unpleasantly loud amplified “music” of some sort; costumed performers dancing on the back of trucks; nowhere to get a break from it, or the hot sun; pressing crowds, mostly though not entirely blacks. I recall buying a small bottle of not very pleasant palm wine for about twice what you might expect. I also recall having to walk all the way back to Little Venice because the Underground stations for miles around were shut for safety reasons, and there were of course no buses or taxis anywhere.

Never again.

In fact, most English people, including most local residents and business owners, would like to bin the Notting Hill Carnival, but the authorities are aware that that would cause black riots which would probably devastate half of London, so “Carnival”, attended now by 2 million from all over the country and beyond, still happens, tolerated not out of choice but because the authorities and English people are effectively blackmailed. A sort of parallel or metaphor for the unenthusiastic toleration of non-white populations in general in this country.

Incidentally, the lady tweeting above knows Notting Hill and surrounding areas rather well, and usually supports mass immigration. I suppose it is different when you yourself, or your friends and family, are affected…

Keir Starmer did not openly “direct” heavy-handed policing and subsequent sentencing last year, though he came pretty close to that in his public utterings. No, we are talking about lawyers and judges apprehending what the System (which employs them) wants.

Very English….the same was the case in my free speech trials, both in the magistrates’ court (2023-2024) and before the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal (2016).

I rarely support Allison Pearson, a foolish scribbler tied-in with the Jew-Zionist extremists, but she is basically correct here.

So hundreds of millions will now be spent on “processing” the cases. About 80% will be rubberstamped OK. The untermenschen will then be released into “the community”, i.e. given free accommodation (probably ahead of most English/British people), social security/”welfare” monies, and will then be a permanent millstone around the necks of the people. Many cannot even speak English to a rudimentary level, most have no qualifications of any sort, most cannot drive legally. What jobs can they do? Few, even if they want to, which most do not.

These “asylum-seekers” (or grantees, once approved) will be, at best, permanent parasites here. Some may also do cash-in-hand work such as illegal taxi-driving, pizza delivery etc. Quite a few will take part in various forms of criminal activity. A (relative) few will be active terrorists.

Not only can we not build a better society with such detritus, the flotsam and jetsam of the world, but we shall be unable even to maintain the society that we now have. You can already see it happening— the slide to dystopia.

The fanatical Jew-Zionists cannot see that, because their whole world-view is toxic, poisonous, self-interested.

The same thing can be seen, for example, when the Israeli planes bomb a hospital in Gaza or elsewhere, killing and horribly wounding hundreds of women and children, and the Jew-Zionist fanatics find out that a Hamas or Hezbollah platoon (or whatever) was hiding in a basement of that hospital and say “see, we were justified in bombing the hospital!“…

Someone once said, “they are the simulacrum of the human“. Best description I have ever encountered.

Keir Starmer interview

As mentioned in yesterday’s blog post [https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/11/27/diary-blog-27-november-2021/], I heard and later saw parts of Nick Robinson’s interview with Keir Starmer. Now, because it has been recycled several times on BBC World TV, I have seen most of the rest of it.

Overall impression? What an incredible “cuck”, in the American vernacular, that man is! Actually, his manner reminds me of another weasel, now deceased: Cecil Parkinson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecil_Parkinson]. There is even a passing physical resemblance:

The above picture shows Parkinson when aged 75. When younger, he looked a good deal more like Starmer, in my opinion.

I doubt, however, that Starmer is a shit, in the personal realm, on anything like (if at all) the level that Parkinson was:

Apart from the (to my mind) physical similarity, Parkinson had something else in common with Starmer, who is (at an educated guess) a freemason. Parkinson was apparently an “active freemason” [Wikipedia]. It would be surprising if Starmer, a former Director of Public Prosecutions, were not a freemason, though I concede that I have no direct evidence that he is.

I ought to add that I once knew a woman who was seated alongside Parkinson at a State banquet, some time not long after the scandal with Sara Keays. That woman said that Parkinson was quite sympathetic in his manner. Maybe he went down better with women; I always thought that he deserved a good kick.

Reverting to that Nick Robinson interview, obviously Starmer is not a clown and pathetic waste of space in the “Boris” Johnson mode, but actually I can see why he has not really cut through to the public, despite Johnson’s incredible lack of ability and competence.

Starmer, like a good mid-range lawyer, makes the right noises: Channel migration invasion must be dealt with by “cross-border co-operation“, and the “upstream causes” dealt with, said he.

What does that mean? “Upstream causes“? So…wars and socio-economic problems in places such as Iraq, Kurdistan, Syria, Afghanistan, black Africa etc? How will Starmer “deal with”, or cure, those? Answer came there none, methinks.

The only thing that Starmer looked at all passionate about, or even interested in, was so-called “anti-Semitism”, with the focus on his Jewish wife and half-Jewish children. I saw no real interest in (or policy concerning) the huge poverty that does exist in the UK in places, made worse by continuing mass immigration. Housing problems, the same.

It may be that Starmer does take an interest in those social, and so political, problems, but if so he failed to actually convey any great interest. That is of importance in a supposedly “democratic” political leader.

Hitler talked about “dirty democratic politicians“. We are now in a contest between the sheer incompetence and corruption of the “Boris” regime, and the —if you like— “managerial semi-socialism” of a Keir Starmer Labour offering. No wonder the opinion polls show a stalemate at present.

Looking again at Parkinson’s Wikipedia entry, interesting to note that he achieved high office despite having come from unmoneyed, modest, and indeed humble, origins. Something increasingly rare in our own day.

I have only known personally two people who have knowingly contracted “the virus”. Two people! In nearly 2 years! Both in 2020. One was my late —nothing to do with “Covid”, incidentally— and then 98 y o mother-in law, who only knew she had “the virus” because she was routinely tested while in hospital for another, and completely different, problem. She had no symptoms, despite her age, infirmity, and existing medical conditions, and was discharged a few weeks later. Like so many others , she only contracted “Covid” because she was staying in one of the NHS’s shambolic hospitals.

The other person I know who has had “Covid-19” is my 20-something Australian niece, living in London, who was advised to take paracetamol, drink water, and rest! So much for the (unused) emergency “Nightingale” hospitals etc! She lost taste and smell for a week or so, had a few other symptoms, but soon made a full recovery without the need for any NHS medical assistance at all, unless you count the “take paracetamol and drink water” “advice” (given over the telephone).

Apropos of that, the woman interviewed was terribly excited about a British Intelligence bod of (mainly) the 1920s and 1930s. These people never see the wood for the trees. Yes, such spy bods were and are very active, but the big picture is that Britain could have joined with the German Reich to rule much of the world, but instead of that decided to declare war against the Reich. SNP Conference

As my blog’s regular readers will know, I usually steer clear of Scottish internal politics. I do not purport to know a great deal about Scottish politics, and have never even been there. Having said that, the SNP and its peculiar cranky little leader, Nicola Sturgeon, cannot be entirely ignored.

The SNP, which had almost no MPs until six years ago (it took about 40 years just to get one), took off in 2015, and is still in precarious power north of the border.

The SNP benefits from not being Conservative, Labour, or LibDem. Simply that. Scotland was once rock-solid Labour, but a few years of Blair’s pathetic, smug, and dishonest henchman, Jim Murphy (and general trends), put paid to that. Labour now has only one Westminster MP from Scotland.

As the Spectator article notes, only half of the Scottish electorate (in fact, at present, less than half— 47%) favour Independence, the number one policy of the SNP.

Surely Scotland could not and would not break away from the UK if only a tiny majority voted to leave the Union?

In reality, what if even , say, 57% favoured Independence? Would that really be enough to tear Scotland from England? It might be far more divisive in Scotland than the Leave result was in the UK overall in 2016.

The SNP has not done so well in its other areas of responsibility, a fact that might explain why it has only 64 seats out of 129 in the Scottish Parliament, a plurality but not a majority (the SNP governs with the 7 votes of the Green Party): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Parliament.

No radical conclusion from me. I do not see the present Con, Lab, or LibDem parties enthusing Scotland much in terms of Westminster elections, so it seems that the SNP will remain the only game in town, north of the notional, if not “national”, border.

Britain was once thought of as “a free country”

Now look at it. Middle-aged ladies handcuffed behind their backs because they are wicked enough to sit on a bench overlooking the sea.

Two young women stopped and each given £200 fines for the “crime” of having driven (separately, at that) to a lake about 10 miles from their homes, where they were planning to take a walk together.

They, and/or similar women, were also fined because they had cups of peppermint tea.

I am not joking. Derbyshire’s pathetic and unpleasant plod force, which made itself notorious in 2020 for similar “poundland KGB” activities, informed the women that the tea counted as “a picnic”, which (ludicrously enough in itself) is “banned” under the stupid “virus” “lockdown” “rules”.

She says: ‘How have I acted anti-socially, I was sat on a bench having a cup of coffee, that is not anti-social.’

One officer tells the first woman: ‘At the moment you’re allowed out for exercise once a day.

‘You’ve been filmed today in the town centre and around here and walking up and down.’

Meanwhile the cameraman walks over to another part of the promenade where a woman is being cuffed by four different officers.

The four officers lead her away in handcuffs while other pedestrians ask why they feel it is necessary.

The footage comes to an end as the second woman is led to a police van while the first continues to bicker with the police.

Derbyshire Police faced criticism on Friday for taking the lockdown crackdown too far after officers swooped on two friends for driving just seven miles to go for a walk at a beauty spot.

As a result, the ‘intimidating’ force is reviewing its Covid operations after getting clarification about the rules, with West Mercia Police also mocked for threatening to fine people £200 for playing in the snow.

Elsewhere, Norfolk Police revealed a couple had travelled 130 miles from their home in Wellingborough in Northamptonshire to Horsey on Thursday to look at a seal colony.” [So?]

Last night, the Broseley and Much Wenlock division of West Mercia Police tweeted: ‘There have been two reports of snowballs being thrown last night between 11 and 11.30pm.

‘This is obviously not a justifiable reason to be out of your house, this behaviour is likely to result in a £200 Fixed Penalty Notice for breaking the lockdown rules.’

Meanwhile, Derbyshire Police fined beautician Jessica Allen and her British Airways flight attendant friend Eliza Moore £200 each for driving for a socially distanced stroll at Foremark Reservoir, which despite not being her nearest park is only 10 minutes from her house. 

The pair were also told their cups of Starbucks peppermint tea, which they bought at a drive-thru, were not allowed because they were ‘classed as a picnic’. 

Current lockdown guidance instructs the public to limit exercise – including running, cycling, swimming and walking – to once per day, and says while people can leave their home, they should not travel outside their local area.” [Daily Mail]

As seen in 2020, official “guidance” and “advice” is being conflated with law. The whole idea of the “rule of law” and “a society under law” is trashed by such conflation.

The sheer state of this country! Yes, police warning or threatening about snowballs thrown in people’s own gardens, or getting hold of some old lady, handcuffing her hands behind her back (as seen on American “reality” TV…) and bundling her away, “mobhanded”, may all seem somehow funny or eccentric, but in reality this is now not even the “toytown” police state seen 8, 9, 10 months ago. This is now becoming a real police state.

There is now no legitimate (or competent) government, no check on that by a viable official Opposition. The Press, radio and TV mostly retail government propaganda and the “fake news” of the misnamed “SAGE” scientific drones [aka “DUMB”— Department Under Matt and Boris]. As for “journalists”, 95% of them just spout officially-approved news. Soviet Britain.

It is not confined to the “virus” “panicdemic”. We see the attack on free speech continuing too (and not only in the UK…across the Western world).

Radio 4 politics

Just listening to some Radio 4 politics show. Oh, dear…They interview Margaret Beckett, now a member of the House of Lords. As an MP, an expenses cheat and freeloader who made sure to employ her husband on expenses as well. Unlike most British politicians, not a complete idiot, but her greed and careerism vitiates her better qualities.

Now they interview the Jewish former Conservative Party leader, Michael “Howard”. Not a particularly nice person, but far from the worst of the Jews in politics in the UK.

Finally, an interview with Joanna Cherry, described as “a senior member of the SNP”. I suppose that that is so, but the very idea that the SNP can have a “senior member” is a bit of a joke, bearing in mind that the SNP had only a handful of MPs until 2015.

Joanna Cherry seems another not particularly nice person: a rather bullish lesbian, several of whose Parliamentary staff complained about being bullied, both by her and by her office manager (Joanna Cherry herself was officially exonerated later). There have also been problems over her expenses since 2015.

Britain deserves better politicians.

You still see tweets and other comment to the effect that the first and second “lockdowns” did not work because a very small number of people broke the (probably legally invalid) “rules”. What nonsense.

The real fallout from the “lockdown(s)” or shutdowns will come later, when the British people will be unable to get medical care, dental care, jobs, decent pay, and when their children will be unable, after pointless further education, to get even the most basic work, or much of a future.

Little Matt Hancock. As for Keir Starmer, the Jewish-lobby puppet now posing as Labour leader, he thinks that the only thing wrong with “lockdown” no.3 is that it should be stricter or tougher! So…everyone should sit at home and wait to starve?

What a total limp waste of space this Starmer is! I have heard two interventions from him this week, the “Government should be supported but do it tougher” statement today and, a few days ago, “People should now resume weekly clapping for NHS (or whatever)”. That one fell totally flat too.

So here we are again, in the “deadhead MPs” zone. The problem I have is that so very many MPs are now deadheads, meaning MPs who fall below the bar even for mediocrity. Mediocrity alone does not qualify an MP to be immortalized here. The MP must be outstandingly poor. How to say where that line is set, when so many now qualify? Anyway, having already chosen a number of MPs to participate in this series, here is a well-deserving example: Jess Phillips MP [Lab, Birmingham Yardley].

Jess Phillips

Background

Jess Phillips is the daughter of two “socialist”-oriented persons, who apparently walked around naked all the time at home, in front of their children. Very odd. Even the East Germans (some of them) only did that on specified Baltic beaches. The online magazine, Conservative Woman, commented thus:

“‘Teach girls at school about orgasms, says Labour MP’. That startling newspaper headline, alone, would have been sufficient for most readers to guess that the source was an interview given by that shameless self-publicist Jess Phillips.“

“Her interview also revealed that not only was Phillips brought up in a ‘naked household . . . an environment where nothing was embarrassing’, today in her own home she often goes around nude. Jess further boasts of being ‘open about sex’ with her two sons, currently aged 10 and 14, which must be delightful for them, though it is unclear whether or not she is clothed during their intimate chats.”

“If Phillips’s tale of home nudity is actually true and not a wind-up, far from being charmingly eccentric, it is revolting. Were a father revealed to be exposing himself to school-age daughters, with whom he frankly discusses sex, it would likely be career-ending, certainly for an MP, and might also interest both social services and police.”

“But don’t expect Jess Phillips to have her collar felt – she won’t be wearing one.”

Readers of the profile were not complimentary to Jess Phillips:

“Phillips is as mad as a barrel of polecats anyway. The fact that people actually vote for her is astonishing.”

and

“I’d like to like Jess Phillips, because at least she seems to have an infectious laugh. The trouble is, I remember her laughing also at male suicide statistics. Seemed to think it funny that suicide is the leading cause of death in British men aged 20-49. Not so funny really.”

It seems that her parents, though “socialist”, set up a private company in order to make money out of the NHS, her mother having been Deputy Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation and Chair of South Birmingham Mental Health Trust. That private company was active from 2003 until at least 2010, but is now defunct. Jess Phillips’ mother died in 2011.

Jess Phillips attended a local grammar school for girls, then the University of Leeds (Economic and Social History and Social Policy, a “soft” degree); she then took a post-graduate diploma in Public Sector Management at the University of Birmingham.

“At 16 I was a raver, a party animal to say the least. Weekends would start early on a Friday night, round at my friend’s house where we’d get ready. Then we’d be out, maybe to a local party at someone’s house. Then on Saturday it was an all-night rave until the wee small hours of Sunday.”

The only known jobs done by Jess Phillips are working for her parents until 2010 (when she was 29), and (from 2010) working as a business development manager at Women’s Aid domestic abuse charity. It is unclear for how long this position lasted. In the 2010-2015 period, Jess Phillips was also engaged in paid political activity as a councillor and as a member of at least two local quango panels. On occasion, Jess Phillips has made reference to having done waitressing and other work, but I think that we can be sure that we are talking days or weeks rather than months or years, assuming that she ever did those jobs at all.

Jess Phillips is married to one Tom Phillips. They have two children. I have been unable, as yet, to discover whether her husband is of Jewish or part-Jewish origin or indeed whether she herself is.

Controversies as MP

Jess Phillips

  • was selected as candidate not by open competition but via an approved “all-women shortlist”;
  • is a member of Labour Friends of Israel and has made a number of pro-Jewish interventions; Jews on Twitter etc often seem to give her support (may be part-Jew);
  • invented an altercation with Diane Abbott MP in which, Phillips claimed, “‘I roundly told her to fuck off.’ When asked what Ms Abbott did after that suggestion, Ms Phillips replied: ‘She fucked off.'” According to Diane Abbott in a January 2018 Guardian interview: “Jess Phillips never told me to fuck off. What was extraordinary is that she made a big deal of telling people she had”. Phillips later apologised.” [Huffington Post]
  • “Phillips told Owen Jones in December 2015 that she had told Corbyn and his staff “to their faces: ‘The day that … you are hurting us more than you are helping us, I won’t knife you in the back, I’ll knife you in the front‘”, if it looked as though he was damaging Labour’s chances of winning the next general election. Responding to criticism about her use of language, Phillips said on Twitter: “I am no more going to actually knife Jeremy Corbyn than I am actually a breath of fresh air, or a pain in the arse” [Wikipedia]
  • walks around in the nude at home, despite having two sons living with her;
  • has quarrelled with UKIP MEP candidate Carl Benjamin aka “Sargon of Akkad”, who said, in 2015, that “he would not even rape her”. Jess Phillips has now dredged that up, four years later, and has been making her usual and no doubt well-paid round of the TV and radio studios in order to make more publicity for herself out of it; she has even made complaint to the police about it, four years on (and, no doubt coincidentally, during the EU election campaign)!
  • has threatened several times to resign from the Labour Party but somehow never quite manages to do it (see below for details of how much money she drags down solely by being an MP);
  • “In July 2018 it was reported that Phillips served as deputy editor of The House, the in-house Parliamentary magazine published by the Dods Group, which had been purchased by Conservative Party donor and former Tory vice-chairman Michael Ashcroft, earning an annual salary of £8,000 for two hours’ work per month.” [Wikipedia]. So she does maybe 2 hours work each month for that obscure magazine, which pays her about £700 per month, i.e. about £350 an hour. Not bad compared to most of her poverty-stricken constituents, who are probably lucky to get £10 a hour!
  • draws a salary of £80,000 and also claims a quarter of a million pounds each year in expenses, most of which consists of “staff pay”, which includes £50,000 a year paid to her husband as “Constituency Support Manager” (house husband?); she also claims about £30,000 a year for accommodation (about 50% more than average);
  • constantly makes the rounds of TV studios, radio studios, Press interviews (all or mostly paid…)

Ambition

“In March 2019, she said: “I think I’d be a good prime minister” and that “I feel like I can’t leave the Labour Party without rolling the dice one more time. I owe it that. But it doesn’t own me. It’s nothing more than a logo if it doesn’t stand for something that I actually care about – it’s just a f***ing rose.” [Wikipedia]

Conclusion

The mystery is (or would be, were it not so common in the House of Commons now) why this ignorant, uncultured, foul-mouthed creature was ever thought suitable to be an MP. Birmingham Yardley is a safe Labour seat, and it seems that no way exists for her to be removed, unless her local Labour Party deselects her. Incredibly, despite her saying time and again that Labour means nothing to her, she has been reselected. She makes a very good living out of being a caricature loudmouth MP, and I see no possibility that she will leave Labour unless another party offers her a continued sinecure. Unfortunately.
