Someone who is hugely wealthy and has a high public profile is invariably treated as semi-divine by the mass of people. It may be that Gates himself has started to believe that…
An interesting calculation. Even including the salines, how long have these so-called v*a*x been manufactured for before the "birus" first appeared? https://t.co/DT7YaV7rVR
All interesting. I myself am at least as interested in the origins of “Covid” itself etc. First in Wuhan, a large city in China most Westerners had never heard of until 2020.
In Wuhan, we were told, and heard, people were falling over dead in the street; the Chinese authorities “locked down” the city for weeks. Strangely enough, it now seems that very few people died there. China quite rapidly returned to normal.
Next, in early 2020, we hear of “the virus” in Alpine ski resorts. Really? As if someone had deliberately released the virus in the best place for its incubation, and then exportation around Europe.
In 2020, the former Chief of SIS, Sir Richard Dearlove [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Dearlove], advanced a tentative opinion, apparently based on Danish sources, to the effect that Covid-19 had been manufactured in a laboratory in Wuhan, but “accidentally” released.
For whatever reason, Dearlove backtracked soon afterwards, but recent news has tended to support the view that Covid-19 was no “accident” in a “wet market” in Wuhan, despite the widespread showing of a Hollywood film (in the UK and elsewhere) in 2020, at the same time, and about such an accident…
The UK public, along with people across Europe and the wider world, was shown film from shuttered and fearful Italian towns, and scenes from overwhelmed Italian hospitals. Suddenly, most of Europe was trapped in government-promoted fear and repression.
Today, about 21 months on, not much has changed. Lockdowns, repression, facemask nonsense, other measures. The only difference is the seemingly ineffective “vaccines” as a straw to clutch at, “boosters” etc, and a huge official PR effort in the corrupted msm.
The facts remain that, in big-picture terms, very few people have died from any of the “variants” of “Covid”. About 5 million to date (even taking the statistics as genuine). That is out of about 8 billion people in the world now. So about, very roughly, one death for every 1, 600 people. In the UK, perhaps one in a thousand.
Influenza deaths in the UK and, I think, elsewhere, have disappeared at the same time…
This is, it seems to me, a conspiracy on a vast scale. It is plainly connected with 2022-2055, the “Great Reset”, and also, less directly, with the “Great Replacement” of Europeans by non-whites.

Worth watching; worth thinking about. The two girls interviewed at about 6:00 are beyond help. David Lammy
I happened to see the Twitter exchange (from October 2021) shown below, in which David Lammy —whose ignorance was showcased on Celebrity Mastermind [sic] in 2014— steps into the deep waters of archaeology, palaeontology and genetics. Brave indeed in someone who showed himself ignorant of basic history, geography etc :
David Lammy still doesn't understand basic archaeology & genetics. Preferring instead to spread false narratives.
Cheddar Man was part of a genetic group called the WHG.
Can you believe that, if Labour can form a government in a couple of years —admittedly still unlikely—, thick-as-two-short-planks David Lammy might actually end up as Attorney-General, or even as Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor? Hard to believe, but then who, years ago, would have thought that an amoral part-Jew chancer could pose as Prime Minister? (I mean “Boris”, not David Cameron-Levita…oh…).
Take a look at this!
Lammy thought that the first woman to win a Nobel Prize was Marie Antoinette! Even after the presenter gave him the Christian names of Marie Curie and her husband, Pierre!
Lammy had apparently never heard of Stilton cheese, a “pipette”, “the gods” (highest seats) in a theatre, the Purple Heart military decoration, etc. He answered “Versailles” for the 14thC fortress at Paris later used as a state prison (the Bastille), and thought that Eduard Shevardnadze had been President of Yugoslavia! (it was Georgia, of course).
Lammy also failed to identify a remote area of Jamaica. Admittedly, I myself did not know that, but guessed that it had to be Jamaica (most Caribbean islands are too small to have remote areas).
I suppose that, in spirit of fairness, I should add that Lammy did get at least one question right that I did not know, something about a pop group called “Coldplay”.
At present, Lammy is Shadow Lord Chancellor! Previous actual Lord Chancellors have included such names as Cardinal Wolsey, Sir Thomas More, Sir Francis Bacon, Richard Haldane, Lord Hailsham etc. Admittedly not all previous incumbents were distinguished, beyond their bare office, but…Lammy??
Lammy is by no means the only stupid and ignorant member of the Commons— and not all of the worst idiots are black, incidentally— but his egregious mixture of bluster, malice and ignorance surely marks him out as someone to be kept out of serious policy.
Oh…and Lammy is, like all or virtually all of the Keir Starmer Shadow Cabinet, a member of Labour Friends of Israel…
There are many ways in which the UK is, in the colloquial, “screwed”, and one of those is the sheer lack of quality apparent in so many MPs. Lammy is just one of dozens, probably hundreds, of examples. A total deadhead.

Look at Bojo banging on about plastic yesterday and female MPs today. Just an endless procession of 'woke' edicts from the dark side of the moon. What's the bloody point?
The System parties, and even the controlled opposition of the UK “alt-Right” (UKIP, Brexit Party, Reform Party etc) are all playing a fixed game. Compare it to, say, the football leagues. In a sense, it is a genuine competition, in that this or that team (party) will win this or that game (election), but the league (System) continues whichever team (party) wins this year, next year etc. The only answer, in the political realm, is to overthrow the (ZOG) System itself.
His inability to do more than pose, entirely unsuccessfully, as Prime Minister, and his inability to handle the key aspects of the job or role, is obviously taking a huge psychological toll, despite his scarcely fulfilling (or being able to fulfil) the role in a proper manner.

The last time I had anything to do with the Home Office, a couple of decades or so ago, I was astounded: apart from the two middle-aged Englishmen who met and talked with me, the whole multi-storey building (Broadway Buildings, Westminster, near St. James’s Park Underground Station), as far as I could see anyway, was full of blacks and browns! Literally not a white face (except for the two already noted).
"The combination of these techniques destroyed the people smugglers’ model and now there are almost no incidences of small boats bringing unauthorised arrivals to Australia" | Writes Alexander Downer https://t.co/B6rwJcjEUO
Australia, which when I was there as a schoolboy in the late 1960s, was an entirely white European, mainly Anglo country (yes, there were some Aboriginals too, mainly in the bush, especially in the Northern Territory), has now a white European (including Southern European) population around 90% of the whole. Still higher than the UK and some other European countries, but for how long? Inexorable (?) change.
You can stop illegal immigration, such as that using small boats, but that is pointless if you allow millions in using other, “legal”, methods. The end result will be the same— a mainly non-white country, and the end of decent standards in all areas.

It will be recalled that former SIS Chief, Sir Richard Dearlove, suggested in 2020 that such was the case, but (it seems) that pressure was brought to bear on him, and he then backtracked. Interesting.
The Fall of Rome took place over centuries. The Graeco-Roman culture started in the proper sense around 600-700 B.C (though earlier Greek culture existed in some form for several centuries prior to that). The end of the Graeco-Roman period can be dated as, approximately, 1415. Constantinople, the capital of the Eastern [Roman] Empire, itself fell to the Ottoman Turks in 1453.
Our own Fifth Post-Atlantean culture, which started around 1415 AD (or “CE”, if you prefer), has only travelled a third of its allotted distance, yet is already falling into decadence despite its technical progress.

The multikulti society does not work, in fact cannot work. In the USA, the (inevitable) friction has become conflict, and will eventually become open civil war or social war. Not simply black/white— that is simplistic. A social war based partly but not entirely on race. The UK will go down some similar, but not exactly the same, road in the end.

Strange, nicht wahr? A virus suddenly appears “from nowhere” and is said to have suddenly manifested at a “wet market” of live and dead wild and domesticated animals in the large city of Wuhan, in China. There just happens to be a Chinese biological and virus research laboratory there. It also just happens that the USA and possibly Israel are involved and/or have given large amounts of funding to that laboratory.
More: the Chinese scientists and doctors who did not stick with the approved narrative about the appearance of “Covid-19” have all disappeared.
More: the virus manifested in Wuhan, yes, but then suddenly appeared in Alpine resorts in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the very places from where it could spread most rapidly across Western Europe.
Was it an accident that the virus suddenly moved from Wuhan to the Alps?
From an ordinary perspective, that might be true, but in terms of NWO/ZOG, the “Great Reset” etc, from the point of view of the ruling circles of the West, the WTO, the Bilderbergers etc, there might well be a good reason to spread not only a dangerous virus (albeit not quite as dangerous as presented) and fear across the world.
As soon as the news of the (supposedly) deadly and world-shattering virus was headlined in the UK, several (fictional) films about viruses were shown on different channels, for several nights running. This was not in response to the news about “Coronavirus” but had been in the schedules for weeks or even months. How did that happen? Accident? Co-incidence? Synchronicity? Or was it conspiracy? Was it all planned?
“On 16 May 2016, Dearlove gave a public lecture televised by the BBC on contemporary mass foreign migration and its effects upon the European continent.
In its text he stated that the governments of Europe were facing a “sea change” in their politics, and if they did not get control and prevent ongoing mass migration of peoples from Africa and Asia into Europe they would find themselves “at the mercy of a populist uprising, … which is already stirring,” and that the oncoming 2016 United Kingdom European Union membership referendum was the first manifestation of it.[26]
He stated further that foreign mass migration’s geopolitical impact upon Europe, if it was not prevented, was set to reshape its political landscape as those of its citizens who feel their interests are threatened asserted their influence.”

The ruling circles of the West (aka “the international conspiracy/consensus”, or “the System”) preferred the UK to remain part of the EU, because they think in terms of blocs of power. The EU controlled the UK and the other nations of Europe and was tightening that control. Having said that, a managed, controlled Brexit did not seriously threaten that matrix, because it just pulled the UK closer to the equally NWO/ZOG USA. They win either way. That’s their thinking.

Good grief! “Becca Hutson”? Who she? An ignorant and stupid woman, obviously. She seems to imagine that, for example, the “resources” taken out of the ground in, say, Africa, should have been left there (where the natives knew not even of their existence, let alone what to do with them).
Ah. This is her: https://www.gbnews.uk/bio/rebecca-hutson. She is “Head of Digital” apparently, for that doomed “alt-right” GB News channel. I have never watched it, and from what I have seen on Twitter, shall never bother. Will it even exist this time next year? Doubtful.

The Authorities claim the C0V1-D jabs reduce the risk of being hospitalised or dying by up to 95%… So why does PHE data show your risk of hospitalisation increases by 65% and your risk of dying increases by 1540% if fully jabbed? https://t.co/CIzdhC4LMA

Hitchens must ask why “undemocratic” ideas are gaining in popularity. It is because “democracy”, both in the UK and elsewhere (France, USA etc), is not delivering.
I've got an amazing idea to deal with crime and stabbings and street thugs. Let's find physically imposing men, over 5'11 tall, teach them the basics of law and how to handle themselves, and have them walk routes around cities every day deterring crime.
What do you have to lose @not_humphrey? Mass abstention is the only serious power individuals have. Governments and parties have no legitimacy if nobody votes for them. So why, if we dislike them as much as we say, do we give them that legitimacy? https://t.co/cxsGavgwrL
Hitchens sometimes lives in the ivory tower. Yes, abstaining from voting may deprive a political party from having “legitimacy” (so long as everyone abstains) but that would not, even in that extreme scenario, deprive that party from having and exercising power, at least not so long as one voter votes, or a small number vote. In the end, a corrupt electoral system can either be reformed by the reasoned consent of the ruling cliques (as in the UK in the 1830s, with the Reform Acts et seq.) or, failing that, by physical overthrow…
It did not take Twitter long to wake up to the persistent and malicious “reporting” and denouncing (to Twitter, to professional regulatory bodies, to police etc) by the “CAA” goblins, once it saw them at close quarters…

Exactly. Just as happened months ago to my mother-in-law, who was routinely and frequently tested when in hospital with a fracture, and then found (assuming that the test was accurate) to have “the virus” after she had been in the hospital for weeks. No symptoms, either before the test or after it. She was eventually discharged, never having had any symptoms. Her age at the time? 99! Oh, and had she died (from any cause) within 28 days of discharge, she too would have “died within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test” and would have been pressed into service as part of the statistical scam around the “panicdemic”.
Talking about the “panicdemic”, I visited a Tesco supermarket today, about 6 miles from my home. Most of the shoppers were “rabbits” (masked serfs), but there was a sizeable minority (including me) maskless. No-one (whether “rabbit” or Tesco staff) said a word to me in criticism, though I saw that Tesco employees almost all were muzzled (with completely pointless, useless, cloth masks). Probably told by managers to wear them.

@borisjohnson. Al, a basic fact about crime. What people want most of all is not to be a victim of crime in the first place. Now look at it. Middle-aged ladies handcuffed behind their backs because they are wicked enough to sit on a bench overlooking the sea.
Two young women stopped and each given £200 fines for the “crime” of having driven (separately, at that) to a lake about 10 miles from their homes, where they were planning to take a walk together.
They, and/or similar women, were also fined because they had cups of peppermint tea.
I am not joking. Derbyshire’s pathetic and unpleasant plod force, which made itself notorious in 2020 for similar “poundland KGB” activities, informed the women that the tea counted as “a picnic”, which (ludicrously enough in itself) is “banned” under the stupid “virus” “lockdown” “rules”.

[Britain 2021: the police are now a militia force menacing the public; they loiter in threes and fours…]
[Britain 2021: three police —again— try to intimidate a person taking a rest on a park bench]
“It comes as footage emerged showing three police officers surrounding a woman for allegedly leaving her house more than once in a day.
Another four officers appear to arrest a different woman for what she claims was ‘sitting on a bench’ on the seafront.
The new rules were on full show on Saturday when a woman was surrounded by three police who claimed she had left her house more than once.
The woman, who is joined by an elderly man, bursts into tears as the police interrogate her over the alleged lockdown violation in Bournemouth.
The officer, who was wearing a face covering, continues but the woman starts crying and wipes her eyes.
She says: ‘How have I acted anti-socially, I was sat on a bench having a cup of coffee, that is not anti-social.’
One officer tells the first woman: ‘At the moment you’re allowed out for exercise once a day.
‘You’ve been filmed today in the town centre and around here and walking up and down.’
Meanwhile the cameraman walks over to another part of the promenade where a woman is being cuffed by four different officers.
The four officers lead her away in handcuffs while other pedestrians ask why they feel it is necessary.
The footage comes to an end as the second woman is led to a police van while the first continues to bicker with the police.
Derbyshire Police faced criticism on Friday for taking the lockdown crackdown too far after officers swooped on two friends for driving just seven miles to go for a walk at a beauty spot.
As a result, the ‘intimidating’ force is reviewing its Covid operations after getting clarification about the rules, with West Mercia Police also mocked for threatening to fine people £200 for playing in the snow.
Elsewhere, Norfolk Police revealed a couple had travelled 130 miles from their home in Wellingborough in Northamptonshire to Horsey on Thursday to look at a seal colony.” [So?]
Last night, the Broseley and Much Wenlock division of West Mercia Police tweeted: ‘There have been two reports of snowballs being thrown last night between 11 and 11.30pm.
‘This is obviously not a justifiable reason to be out of your house, this behaviour is likely to result in a £200 Fixed Penalty Notice for breaking the lockdown rules.’
Meanwhile, Derbyshire Police fined beautician Jessica Allen and her British Airways flight attendant friend Eliza Moore £200 each for driving for a socially distanced stroll at Foremark Reservoir, which despite not being her nearest park is only 10 minutes from her house.
The pair were also told their cups of Starbucks peppermint tea, which they bought at a drive-thru, were not allowed because they were ‘classed as a picnic’.
Current lockdown guidance instructs the public to limit exercise – including running, cycling, swimming and walking – to once per day, and says while people can leave their home, they should not travel outside their local area.” [Daily Mail]
As seen in 2020, official “guidance” and “advice” is being conflated with law. The whole idea of the “rule of law” and “a society under law” is trashed by such conflation.
The sheer state of this country! Yes, police warning or threatening about snowballs thrown in people’s own gardens, or getting hold of some old lady, handcuffing her hands behind her back (as seen on American “reality” TV…) and bundling her away, “mobhanded”, may all seem somehow funny or eccentric, but in reality this is now not even the “toytown” police state seen 8, 9, 10 months ago. This is now becoming a real police state.
There is now no legitimate (or competent) government, no check on that by a viable official Opposition. The Press, radio and TV mostly retail government propaganda and the “fake news” of the misnamed “SAGE” scientific drones [aka “DUMB”— Department Under Matt and Boris]. As for “journalists”, 95% of them just spout officially-approved news. Soviet Britain.
It is not confined to the “virus” “panicdemic”. We see the attack on free speech continuing too (and not only in the UK…across the Western world).

The enthusiasm of the police/militia for handcuffing peaceful, non-violent citizens in public-humiliation street theatre is remarkable. It is precisely because dissent is so weak, and mobs are incited against it, that this sort of thing becomes easier and more common. https://t.co/bLIjytmETu
Just listening to some Radio 4 politics show. Oh, dear…They interview Margaret Beckett, now a member of the House of Lords. As an MP, an expenses cheat and freeloader who made sure to employ her husband on expenses as well. Unlike most British politicians, not a complete idiot, but her greed and careerism vitiates her better qualities.
Now they interview the Jewish former Conservative Party leader, Michael “Howard”. Not a particularly nice person, but far from the worst of the Jews in politics in the UK.
Finally, an interview with Joanna Cherry, described as “a senior member of the SNP”. I suppose that that is so, but the very idea that the SNP can have a “senior member” is a bit of a joke, bearing in mind that the SNP had only a handful of MPs until 2015.
Joanna Cherry seems another not particularly nice person: a rather bullish lesbian, several of whose Parliamentary staff complained about being bullied, both by her and by her office manager (Joanna Cherry herself was officially exonerated later). There have also been problems over her expenses since 2015.

Watched the 2002 TV film Goodbye Mr Chips the other night, a period piece set in an early 1900's boarding school. Not one black person featured in the cast. In 2020 every period piece to included black people. Social engineering and indoctrination now in full operational mode.

You still see tweets and other comment to the effect that the first and second “lockdowns” did not work because a very small number of people broke the (probably legally invalid) “rules”. What nonsense.
The real fallout from the “lockdown(s)” or shutdowns will come later, when the British people will be unable to get medical care, dental care, jobs, decent pay, and when their children will be unable, after pointless further education, to get even the most basic work, or much of a future.

Little Matt Hancock. As for Keir Starmer, the Jewish-lobby puppet now posing as Labour leader, he thinks that the only thing wrong with “lockdown” no.3 is that it should be stricter or tougher! So…everyone should sit at home and wait to starve?
What a total limp waste of space this Starmer is! I have heard two interventions from him this week, the “Government should be supported but do it tougher” statement today and, a few days ago, “People should now resume weekly clapping for NHS (or whatever)”. That one fell totally flat too.

Interesting to read this Time article fr 13 March:
"But others question the cost of China’s containment, and are asking if it’s worth turning to draconian measures that indiscriminately infringe on citizens’ civil liberties and cripple their livelihoods."https://t.co/bJlCgtlMve
In any case, China is (obviously) a huge country with a huge population, and only small parts were “locked down”. The main Chinese economy was not much impaired. In the UK, the economy has been crippled by “lockdown” and other nonsense, the effects of which are mostly yet to be felt.
Pure sentimentality @usambuk. Those of us who witnessed the Clinton administration's ruthless strongarming of this country over a visa for Gerry Adams (as I did) will never be taken in by that sort of syrup again. https://t.co/vU3hWButAJ
Until I went to stay and live in the USA (on and off, mainly in 1989-1993, but also in 1999-2002), I thought that the “Special Relationship” was at least to some extent real. I soon understood, however, that to Americans, even Anglophile ones, and certainly to the broad mass, the UK was down the other end of the telescope, hardly visible.

Long ago, in the mid/late 1970s, I was friendly with a lady of unusual and obscure Eurasian origins (part-Afghan, I believe; part-Irish too), who lived in London (in Kensington). She had been a journalist at one time in her youth, covering the Algerian conflict, unusually, mostly from the side of the Algerian rebels rather than from that of the French government and so-called pieds-noirs (French and other Francophone people long-settled in Algeria). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algerian_War
It was not until years later that I knew that, on one side, her descent was from the mediaeval Norman rulers of Cyprus. Her maiden name had been de Lusignan [see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_of_Lusignan].
Strange to think that, under other circumstances, this odd but rather fascinating (at times) woman (I should add that I was a possibly impressionable teenage boy of 19 when we first met) might have been a princess or whatever of a royal house.
Those memoirs are a good read, by the way. Incidentally, also, Wyatt’s daughter, Petronella, now a more or less washed-up journalist, was once and notoriously involved with the person presently posing as the Prime Minister of the UK: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petronella_Wyatt.
Petronella Wyatt, however, is not descended from the Plantagenets.

An average of 3,800 people per day in private households in England were estimated to be newly infected with Covid-19 between August 3 to 9, according to the ONS
So nearly 4,000 people daily thought to be newly infected, yet the death rate (in hospitals) is still falling: the last recorded day, 20. So as a very rough and ready measurement, about 1 person dying out of every 200 (known to be) infected. Not an exact proportion, and with many random or variable factors, but it seems about right.
It is clear, surely, that the governmental over-reaction, and particularly the facemask nonsense, is not only over-reaction but also pointless, in that the main Coronavirus wave has passed, in fact passed months ago. In any case, facemasks have little impact overall.
Lest we forget: March 22 SAGE:'A substantial number of people still do not feel sufficiently personally threatened…. The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent, using hard-hitting emotional messaging' https://t.co/nJ879GmkWe
This virus is real enough, but the governmental reaction (over-reaction) to it (not only in the UK but in many countries) has become a massive scam, building on the initial fear in order to impose rafts of “serf-citizen” fake legislation (in the UK, not properly passed by Parliament; misusing existing laws to impose invalid secondary legislation described as “rules” etc…).
It is clear, looking at the open jubilation of the World Economic Forum that “the virus” is an opportunity to impose a “Reset” of the world, that the New World Order (NWO) cabal(s) are, if not actually behind the release of this virus in China (was it in reality released in Europe at the same time?), then certainly using it to force the people of the advanced countries into compliant citizen-serfs.
New Zealand plod denies that he is “thought police”, yet tells the citizen that if he continues to post about “lockdown”, the government, or MPs, he will be “over the line” and will be arrested!
New Zealand! Formerly one of the most —overall— free countries in the world! All that it has taken has been a very complacent citizenry mostly interested in sports, “celebrity” nonsense etc, then mass immigration of non-whites including Middle Eastern Muslims (leading to the Christchurch/Brenton Tarrant massacre, which in turn gave the NZ government the excuse to crack down on free speech online etc), a very “woke” prime minister, Jacinda Ardern (who used to work for the Tony Blair Labour Party in London), and finally “the virus” and fear thereof (though New Zealand’s remote location —not “lockdown”, please note— has largely protected it).
The are parallels with the UK. Here, as with New Zealand (an offshoot of the UK, originally), we have a very sleepy and complacent population, mostly interested in sports (not doing them, just watching team sports on TV) and “celebrities” (so-called). The level of socio-political (let alone historical) understanding is at a very basic level.
That population has accepted mass immigration, destruction of culture, the lionization (on the BBC and in the msm generally) of inferior and malicious persons who are in many cases outright enemies of this country; the people accepted the “lockdown” (shutdown) of most of the economy and society because they were paid off via furlough payments etc; now also accepting facemask muzzles and endless repression, not only of free speech, but even of everyday life.
I note that the New Zealand policeman is superficially “reasonable”, all the more so because he is being filmed, but underneath that is the expressed threat that, if the dissident citizen continues to post disagreement with the government, he will be arrested!
True, that “iron fist in velvet glove” approach to dissidence is softer than that adopted by, say, the authorities in Belarus, which is more “iron fist and no glove” but in the end is essentially the same: “do as we say or else…”.
One day, when reason and evidence resume their reign, these figures will be revised down even further pic.twitter.com/8Ixma4V0Mx
The facemask nonsense is being kept up and hardened because the government wants to maintain control. It has nothing at all to do with stopping the very rare transmission of “particles” etc. If the government really thought that person to person transmission by proximity was a serious problem, the pubs would not be open, because pubs are the most likely places where such person to person air transmission might occur (along with offices, which are also open and without facemasks).

The Finns were also defending their own territory. But they lost in the end. https://t.co/HQqFL1o2ur
Doubtful or not quite understood history. I suppose that the Soviet victory at Khalkin-Gol in 1939 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battles_of_Khalkhin_Gol] might be said to have occurred on Soviet territory; grey area. Manchuria/Mongolia. Zhukov wrote about the military aspects in his memoirs.
The Finns won in the field, despite being hugely outnumbered. Hitchens says that “they lost in the end“. In the sense that Finland was forced, as part of the “peace” treaty, to cede Karelia to the Soviet Union, yes, but Finland was able to keep its independence in the rest of its territory, and was able to help the forces of the German Reich in 1941 by assisting in the siege of Leningrad etc.
[Remarkably bleak: “A Winter War monument at Suomussalmi, Finland, containing a rock for every soldier who died at the Battle of Suomussalmi: 750 Finnish and an estimated 24,000 Soviet” (Wikipedia)]
After the Second World War ended, Finland was not taken over by the Soviet Union. An armistice was signed in 1944. After 1945, Finland remained independent, though in some measure generally subservient to the Soviet Union in foreign affairs etc, a situation now known as “Finlandization” (eg, escapees from Soviet rule were invariably handed back if found before they could get to Sweden or Norway).
I cannot agree with Hitchens that Finland “lost in the end“. Not everything is black and white. Finland retained its way of life and a political sovereignty which was somewhere between independence and autonomy…It also created favourable trading relations with the Soviet Union. Admittedly, it never regained Karelia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland#World_War_II_and_after
I myself once had a girlfriend from Karelia (but from a few miles West of the Soviet border). I used to joke with her that the only reason she was not a Soviet citizen was that the Red Army had been short on fuel! In fact, her father had fought, as an 18 year old, in the Winter War. He had once stumbled on a Red Army soldier, similar age, in the forest, by a stream. They both fled in opposite directions!

Look at what the British people have swallowed in the past 30+ years! Mass immigration and migration-invasion on a scale that would have staggered Enoch Powell! The attack by both Labour and Conservative Party governments, since about 2000, on the unemployed, disabled and sick of the UK. The crazy “lockdown”; and now the facemask nonsense.

Yes. I recall going into a pub in the Westminster Bridge Road (London) one afternoon in the 1980s, something I did not do usually, and being surprised to find a woman sitting with friends and with her two small children! That must have been about the time that the laws were relaxed by the Thatcher “open all hours” government.
Many pubs in the UK, even before the Coronavirus panic, were not really pubs. Economics dictated that many had to become quasi-restaurants, and/or “family pubs”. The old type of pub, which was basically for quiet drinking, and without people sitting eating pies, fish and chips, trifle etc, was rare even before 2020. Now? On the endangered list.

Looks as though Belarus is on the cusp of political revolution. The country avoided the wars and poverty (the latter caused by unrestricted finance capitalism) which afflicted Russia, Ukraine and other parts of the Soviet Union after 1989, but at the cost of, in effect, dictatorship. Seems that that is now not a bargain the people think worthwhile, though it is hard to judge from outside.
Belarus has a population of about nine and a half million; how many support the government v. the protest movement is an unknown. In any case (and in any country) what really matters is not the percentage either way, but the proportion willing to struggle or fight for supremacy.

Online presence v. boots on the ground
I have written before about this.
5-10 years ago, before the Jew-Zionists and others (but mainly “them”) gained traction over the Internet, before the really heavy censorship came into effect, it was possible to believe that a new world of freedom of expression had opened up. I was always somewhat sceptical, but saw that people barred from the Zionist-controlled mass media had been able to start their own online organizations, using the large online platforms: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.
Again, these people were generally not on the same ideological page as myself, though there were some points of agreement. Some of them were able not only to put over points of view, but also to make a passably good living doing what they did.
For me, the sticking point was their support for Israel and the Jewish lobby. Paul Joseph Watson, “Prison Planet” Watson on Twitter and YouTube, Katie Hopkins (at the time also a columnist for the Daily Mail), various Americans, some less prominent ones such as “Sargon of Akkad” (Carl Benjamin); and of course there was also “Tommy Robinson” (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon).
For me, all of the above were wastes of space, though “Robinson” did have followers offline as well as online, if one could ignore the fact that most were simpleminded pub drinkers and beer-bottle-throwers.
All of the above were making a living by their activity; Katie Hopkins was also receiving a salary or fees from the Daily Mail. Then the Jews (mainly) prevailed on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook to restrict their posts, eventually having them expelled, though “Prison Planet” still has a Twitter account (with 1.1 million “followers” at that) and one on YouTube (which was briefly suspended). Example (well worth seeing, btw):
*NEW VIDEO*
You won't believe what the average American believes about coronavirus.
I agree with him about the facemask nonsense, by the way. It’s the new WW1 “white feather” hysteria.
The point is that all the above-named “alt-Right” or similar people are hostages to fortune. As the Jews have worked out, take away their online platforms and these people fade away to nothing.
Where now is Katie Hopkins? Not on Twitter. Permanently banned, just as I was in 2018. She is still on YouTube, though:
As I say, I hold no brief for her, or any of what might be called the “alt-Right”. Pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby. Also, with no discernible political programme. Always negative (and sometimes rightly so) but putting forward no real alternative. Not just Katie Hopkins; all of them.
Whether unwittingly or not, all the above wastes of space are basically controlled opposition. Katie Hopkins and “Prison Planet” Watson take every opportunity to laud the Jews and Israel, and while that will not necessarily save them from online oblivion eventually, it may stave off their being “excommunicated” for a while, while they are somewhat useful to the System in drawing the sting of social nationalism.
If the above people lose their “platforms”, there is nothing left for them. I doubt that they could raise a dozen people in the streets even now. Even Tommy Robinson could only manage about 200 to protest against his being tried about a year ago. One dimwit follower of his even wrapped himself in an Israeli flag, in the manner of football supporters (which almost all of Robinson’s followers are).
The only thing that matters now is “boots on the ground”, whether a million, a thousand, a hundred, or even ten. Online influence may be fine, but is a mirage which can disappear overnight.
Britain needs a social-national organization. Maybe not, or not exclusively, a political party as such, but an organization which can be relied on, through thick and thin, come what may.

Hitchens is right, and it is precisely the “socialists” on Twitter, the “anti-fascists”, those who have for years been loudly virtue-signalling in favour of “human rights”, “civil liberties” and all the rest of the platitudinous garbage they have spewed out, who now, when it matters, are not only compliant with the slightest “rule” (under dodgy and possibly invalid secondary legislation) or even “advice” given out by Boris-idiot and this government of alien clowns, but who are often to be seen on Twitter etc actually, and literally at times, begging to be put under stricter “lockdown”, under harsher “rules” and “laws” mandating facemasks and muzzles at all times, and so on!
The above virtue-signallers and “useful idiots” are the ones, many of them, who have been most critical of the unpleasant and stupid actions of “Conservative” government for a decade. Now, they roll over for the least-competent Con regime ever, despite all the evidence against “lockdowns”, facemasks etc.
I blogged before, a week or so ago, that my own doctor told me that his practice (12 or so doctors in two locations) had had few (if any?) Coronavirus cases since the panic (my word) began in February or March, and that he had heard of no more than a few cases in the whole area.
I read in the past week, in a local online newspaper, that in my local authority area, a rural/suburban coastal and near-coastal area with a few smallish towns and villages, only 3 people have died of —or at least with— Coronavirus in almost a month! In a quite large and widely-spread area the population of which totals 180,000! Three people! Sad for them and their family and friends, but in effect close to statistical zero.
Anecdotal evidence, as always, is suspect, but then look at the government’s misleading and/or simply untrue statistics!

That is my feeling. The toytown police state brought into being by the Coronavirus Act can be continued, extended, or resurrected almost at will, either by extending the “sunset” of the Act itself, or by passing a new Mickey Mouse “virus” Act…
Also fear the PM may let his own experience of the virus override any rational decision. The last thing we need is a PM spooked by their own mortality.
A good point, that last. Personally, I believe that Boris-idiot is hiding out until the air has cleared and the virus wave effectively over, so that he can emerge as “wounded-in-action and conquering hero (clown) returns”. As I predicted long ago, Boris-idiot is useless in a crisis. As for the headless chicken now posing as a government, its “Cabinet ministers” are a mediocre stupid lot, unwilling to take responsibility or the obvious necessary step of ending the “lockdown” now.
WE all know that it is vital, if felled by a stroke or heart attack, to get help and act as quickly as possible. This shutdown is like a heart attack and a stroke combined, for the economy and our society. We cannot waste another second, if we want to avoid permanent deep damage.
I have been told that, eg “hairdressers and butchers are suffering”.
I’m sure, but people offering personal services in perpetual demand, such as barbers, will be the first to recover. People need their services, such businesses do not require much capital to restock with anything, and they get paid in cash or via immediate card payment.
Small shops such as butchers or whatever may be in deeper trouble, because they need to buy stock and (like most hairdressers etc) are still, during the “lockdown”, paying at least rent, if not also business rates, in most cases.
The obvious result of the present nonsense is that many closed-down shops will not reopen, or be open for long, while new entrants to the “High Street” retail landscape will be few. This really could spell the end of the High Street, or something very close to it.
I have seen tweets saying that some publicans are still paying rent of as much as £2,000 a week to landlords (usually breweries), despite being closed and thus having no or almost no income (a few are delivering food and drink to clients, in small quantities).
Fortunately, the inn where I often based myself when in the UK from France, the Royal Oak at Dunsford, near Dartmoor, is owned by its proprietors. I urge people to go there when this nonsense is over. It’s a great place, deserves support, and the village of Dunsford itself is (as I used to think of it when I was there) “a blessed plot”.
Returning to the less-happy facts of the overall UK economic situation, many people have been either made redundant, or “furloughed”. Even those on furlough may not be getting their full pay, nor even the 80% of it guaranteed by the Government. It is capped at £2,500 per month. Cold comfort for those (formerly) making more than average pay.
After furlough? How many will even have jobs to which they can return?
I imagine that, once we are into the Summer and Autumn, there will be a personal/family crisis for many. Rents, mortgages etc may become unsustainable. The buy to let parasite market may well crash. Not that I care about the landlords, but those who cannot pay rent will mostly be ejected and become homeless. Will those houses become empty indictments of our whole system?
The idea being put forward by the present government, as well as by the “experts” who have been so wrong so many times before, i.e. that the economy will “bounce back” in a “V”-shaped recovery, sounds to me like pie in the sky.
People in the UK will, many of them, have no money, be maxed-out on credit cards, have had to remortgage houses (when or if they can). Demand in the economy will be low, not only in the UK, but Europe-wide and, to a lesser extent, worldwide. From where will that “bounce-back” come?
I see today that the price of oil is so low that it is only just worth producing. Bad for oil-producing states, including Russia. I have not looked at gas, but I presume that the same is true. At least it should mean the end of the fracking nonsense in England. An end to part-Jew Osborne’s con-trick propaganda.

The bastards will even eat koalas. They sold live koalas in the Wuhan market, for locals to buy, kill, cook and eat. Koalas! What kind of untermenschen could do that?…

The “British” Press
I read that the newspapers, at least as print entities, face closure or at least significant cutbacks. Specialized or niche newspapers, such as the Jewish Chronicle, have already folded, though still publishing at time of writing. The larger or national newspapers are making huge losses. Am I worried on their behalf? No. In fact, I am laughing.
The “free press” of the UK, infested by Jewish-Zionist influence, has rarely been a positive influence in British life, even before WW2. In fact, with a few exceptions, as when the Daily Telegraph broke open the MPs’ expenses scandal, and thus exposed many MPs as a pack of squalid, thieving, cheating, freeloading, embezzling evildoers, I can think of few really good things that the “free Press” has done.
Come to that, while the Telegraph did break the expenses scandal in the latter part of the 2005-2009 Parliament, many of the worst expenses cheats and freeloaders are still MPs! One or two have even been promoted to the Cabinet! A few names? Yvette Cooper, Nadine Dorries, Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, Michael Gove. There are many more. All or almost all are members of Labour or Conservative Friends of Israel.
No, I shall not be crying when the “national Press” (Lugenpresse, Judenpresse) goes down. I shall welcome the downfall, especially if the scribblers and others face well-merited ruin.

End “lockdown” now!
End “lockdown” NOW!!
At last! . I think Lord Sumption may share some of your position. Will you or others now challenge this imposition in the courts? https://t.co/m4kKQU1RzE
No, only caused the destruction of our economy and our way of life. When people wake up from their netflix induced slumbers they will see the devastating effects this has had, and the lives and livelihoods that have been destroyed will outweigh those saved by these house arrests
Majorities are so often wrong it's hardly worth stating @johnward_runner (The vast majority once thought A.Blair was a great leader, for instance). They also change. When the cost of this becomes clear, I think it may be others who are found to have believed the earth was flat. https://t.co/JzffzvNaV0
The “lockdown” is destroying everything: economy, society, confidence in the police, belief that this is a “democracy”, any belief left in the government, any belief in the future. Was that the hidden agenda?
Re. our medical and scientific progress, look at this news item from 1918, prior to the arrival in New York of the worldwide “Spanish Flu”, which eventually killed millions.
“Soap and water” (and “fresh air”). Progress? What progress?
China
Conspiracy theories aside, we should not let China off the hook as far as this ghastly virus event and siruation is concerned. For years, decades, China has been destroying the wildlife of the planet, and brutally mistreating animals in China itself. The Coronavirus “COVID-19” is said to have started in a “seafood market” in Wuhan where not only were live animals (including dogs and cats) on sale, but where some were whipped or otherwise deliberately subjected to painful treatment before being killed. Some were (and in other parts of China are) being boiled alive.
Whatever else China is guilty of in relation to #COVID19 these wet markets where cats and dogs are butchered alive are grotesque. The fact that it’s business as usual there should make us all think very hard about how we indirectly support such barbarism. pic.twitter.com/yUFlEurXRu
China may be impressive in some ways, both in terms of its history and its technological and allied activity today, but in other ways it is very very backward. The Coronavirus situation is the fault of China. Now it appears that the Chinese official response in Wuhan may have saved the Chinese from suffering more, but misled the West as to the peril faced by reason of the virus.
In both world wars, there were consequences, rightly or wrongly, for the losing side. Reparations were demanded. Are there to be no consequences for a China which has plunged the rest of the world into turmoil?
This virus allegedly started in China but China with more than a billion population has less than 3500 recorded deaths whilst the US has more than 20k, UK close to 10k, Italy near 20k, Spain near 17k and France near 15k.
What makes the difference with the Chinese people?
The above graph shows deaths, not all confirmed cases, but is interesting in that the surveys done in previous years re. personal hygiene in various countries showed that the least hygienic countries of Europe in terms of handwashing etc were…wait for it…Italy, then Spain, then France and Netherlands…
Washing hands frequently with soap and water really is by far the best way to protect yourself from Coronavirus, in fact almost the only way, followed by avoidance of places where crowds of people are hot, excited and active.
Light relief
Watched an episode of the property show Place in the Sun, filmed several years ago in and around Lucca, in Tuscany. What made me shake head is that there were the potential buyers, a couple from Rotherham (South Yorkshire), eager to buy a holiday home and perhaps a place to which (in about 10-20 years) they might retire, but they had obviously not really thought through the matter..
The potential buyers had visited Lucca a number of times, but there was no indication that they spoke Italian, beyond the usual cafe phrases. It is one thing to visit a country, quite another to live there and perhaps be fully domiciled there. A visit to the USA will probably be pleasant and untaxing; living there is something else entirely, despite the (supposedly) common language. The same is true of many parts of the world.
Alok Sharma, Business Secretary, is the latest unfortunate member of the Cabinet to be put into the stocks to have rotten fruit and vegetables thrown at him. Twitter and even the msm have not been kind to him.
An Indian, born in Agra (where the Taj Mahal is situated), Sharma was educated partly at the same school as me: https://www.rbcs.org.uk/; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reading_Blue_Coat_School, but about a decade after I was there (there were no Indians there when I was a pupil, though I was slightly acquainted with two half-Indian brothers who attended and who in fact lived not very far from me).
Looks as if Sharma, like other Cabinet ministers in this joke of a government, is basically nbg (no bloody good)…
The natives are getting restless
It can be seen that, after three weeks of the mishandled “lockdown”, and despite general compliance, people are getting pretty fed up with it. They are being kept in line mainly by the constant propaganda, much of it untrue, or only partly true:
“anyone can get it” (true, but most people either do not get it, or are completely asymptomatic, and so unaware that they have been infected);
also, only a tiny handful under 20 or even 40 are both getting it and require medical attention for it;
only those over 60 are likely to require medical attention (there are, of course, always exceptions to every general rule);
only those over 70 who get it are likely to require hospitalization;
most people who are aware that they have the Coronavirus are mildly affected, mildly in that they require no medical attention and just a couple of weeks of rest (though of course it is unpleasant for them all the same);
the relative few (perhaps 1 person in every few hundred of the population) who do require medical attention in hospital are usually in and out of hospital in about 2 weeks;
so far, about 1 person out of every 8,000 of the general population has died with (though not necessarily of) Coronavirus.
The risible police activity around the “lockdown” has only slightly reinforced the main propaganda message, the puerile “Save lives/Save the NHS” stuff. In countries with still-properly-functioning public health systems (Germany, France etc) they do not use such kneejerk propaganda campaigns, but just do (and have the means to do) the job.
Luckily for the government, most of the population prefer not to think for themselves. If they did, they would realize that most people, and certainly those under 30, are at little risk of anything serious anyway. The “lockdown” would then not so much lock down as break down.
British housing conditions
“Fears are growing that coronavirus could be ripping through some of the poorest and most overcrowded parts of Britain’s cities as new research suggests cramped living conditions might be accelerating the spread of the virus” [The Guardian]
Britain had about 50 or 55 million people living in it when I was born (1956). Now it is about 70 million. Far too many even in strict numerical terms, and an increasing proportion of the population is black, brown, other non-European, or of mixed race. What future does that give the white people of the UK (or the non-whites, in fact)?
[above: a non-European family living in one room in London. No good for them, no good for Britain’s future. The man delivers pizzas. Britain must move to a high-education, high-skillset national model. What use is it having a man delivering pizzas, his non-working wife looking after three —so far— children, the family dependent largely on State benefits?]
Economics
It had to happen: the time has come when I can agree on something with Matthew Parris:
Covid-19's most serious effect '…will not be the actual virus(which, if we ever calm down, will be seen to have been damaging but less than catastrophic) but our decision to trash our economies…' – Matthew Parris, The Times of London, 11th April. https://t.co/AgE54b3iKW
Peter Hitchens has been one of the few to think, so far:
I am sorry for your loss. But there is a missing part of your argument. How precisely do these government measures protect life? What evidence exists that they do so? (none). Yet there is much evidence that economic decline (such as we now face) damages health and costs lives. https://t.co/ZZhlSrOcDU
Unfortunately, much of the public is basically unthinking. They are so brainwashed that they imagine that the “lockdown” is “saving lives, protecting the NHS” etc (which if true, is only marginally so), and that “everyone” must “Clap for the NHS”, North Korea-style. Actually, where I live, no-one seems to be clapping on command, though a couple of weeks ago, i.e. the first time the clapping was “ordered”, I did see one firework (a large rocket).
I am sorry for your loss. But there is a missing part of your argument. How precisely do these government measures protect life? What evidence exists that they do so? (none). Yet there is much evidence that economic decline (such as we now face) damages health and costs lives. https://t.co/ZZhlSrOcDU
This https://t.co/UuObYHeoH4 should be worrying anyone seriously concerned with the health and lives of the people. This is not an argument of life against money or convenience, but of life against life.
When one examines the economic damage done by “lockdown”, one is in the world of conjecture. However, only a few oddities have dared assert that “lockdown” (even so far) has not had a negative economic effect (if it did not have such an effect, we might as well keep most of the population on holiday most of the year!).
So let us say that the UK “lockdown” is ended in June, which seems to be the most likely time.
The “furlough” money paid to laid off workers will end in June, or at the end of June, as matters stand.
The UK private economic sector will be on its knees. Manufacturing will be at a low level. Many factories will not see activity again. The same is true of much of the existing retail sector. The employees in those areas of the economy will be made redundant in their millions.
Many msm/System talking heads and scribblers are opining that the economy will somehow “bounce back” in the Summer or Autumn. How would that work? Demand will remain low, both domestically and outside the UK, because few individual consumers will have both money to spend and the confidence to spend or invest.
There are about 5 million self-employed or freelance people in the UK now. Few are still working. After “lockdown” finishes, there may be only a slow uptick.
I foresee a very slow restart of economic life. In fact, if (when) government largesse (“furlough” money, business loans etc) ends, the economy may go into freefall, quite possible the pound’s exchange rate too. Millions will be officially unemployed or requiring “Universal Credit”.
There will possibly be a kind of 1930s-style “National Government”, either declared as such or de facto. It will become obvious that there is no real (approved) Opposition. Why else would the quasi-dictatorial Coronavirus Act be expressed as going to last for up to 2 years? During that time, Boris-idiot has the option of simply deferring elections! As far as general elections are concerned, that changes nothing, because the misnamed “Conservatives” have until 2024 anyway, but perhaps that Act will be renewed or “reincarnated”. Who knows…
Soon will be the right time to launch either a social-national party or a movement which may or may not contest the rigged System elections (my view is that “all roads lead to Rome”, so one should not dismiss a partly-electoral route out of hand).
Anything will become possible, in a UK where millions are unemployed, where businesses are failing right, left and centre, and where both Government and official Opposition are seen as complicit.
Something other than Coronavirus (from the days before viruses were weapons of war and/or politically causative…)
One of the better films of its type, bearing in mind the inevitable ideological bias in all such films.
[below, a quite interesting film about the German advance on Moscow in late 1941. Some footage that I had not seen. When I was driven past the place of furthest advance, about 14 miles NW of Moscow, in 1993, my young driver, Pasha, made it to (close to) the Kremlin in little more than 15 minutes. How close German forces came to taking Moscow in 1941! History would have been changed beyond recognition, as would the world we know today].
The “electoral road”?
Below, tweets from typical “antifa” idiots:
All in the name of 'muh ethnostate'. What simpletons these people are. They actually believe the Electoral Commission will legitimise full on Nazis!
Martin Bell, the war reporter and one-term Independent MP for Tatton [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Bell], in a memoir, wrote that the 1998 Act of Parliament which required registration of parties contesting UK elections, which Act preceded the 2000 Act which established the Electoral Commission, was “profoundly undemocratic”.
The problem is not that a party will not be registered, but that later (meaning if the “wrong sort of party” finds electoral success), the Electoral Commission or other bodies will “find” cause to interfere with its campaigns and staff. The BNP, UKIP and now the Labour Party (via the “Equality and Human Rights Commission”) have all been targets.
“Democracy” in the UK is very limited once you dig beneath the surface. The funny thing is that the quasi-“socialist” types that used to be rather rebellious and anti-Establishment decades ago have given way to System slaves (slaves even in their own minds), begging the System to crack down on “fascists” and “Nazis” (i.e. people with whom they disagree politically).
All roads lead to Rome. A political party is good, but may only be part of a multi-headed movement.
MSM sycophancy
One example, arguably the most egregious, of the sycophantic scribblers in the contemporary popular prints: Dan Hodges, faux-proletarian, who lives with his family and mother, the famous actress and one-time Labour MP, Glenda Jackson, in a large house in not very proleterian Blackheath.
At one time, Hodges was supposedly a Labour Party (Blair-Labour) member and supporter. Now he writes for the Mail on Sunday and his sycophancy would not be out of place in Stalin’s Russia. His mother, a woman of principle, must be spinning (or whatever)!
Little Britain can never accept it but Johnson and his gov.s handling of this crisis is nothing short of scandalous. Your deluded sycophantic drivel is obscene and an insult to the thousands that have died and the healthcare workers who continue to put their lives at risk
I personally doubt that this “we are at war”, “Boris is the second Churchill” (second time as farce?), White Cliffs of the NHS stuff is really believed or followed by most people, despite the frankly pathetic (though no doubt well-meaning on the part of many) “Clap for the NHS” Schauspielen.
Coronavirus deaths in the UK have peaked
Daily equivalent changes this week, compared with one week earlier, for new UK hospital deaths:
Mon 15% Tue 10% Wed 8% Thu 6% Fri 5% Sat 4% Sun 3%
This is not in fact because of, or even mainly because of, the “lockdown”, however. The government seems to be intent on pretending that it is, though. Fine, but now would be the time to end the “lockdown”, either completely —at once— or in stages over, say, two weeks. The fact that this incompetent government seems intent on keeping the “lockdown” going for weeks more, maybe even to the end of June, is incredible. Massive commercial and industrial damage all over the UK and more deaths from causes other than Coronavirus.
London may recover before too long (economically) because of the financial services industry and (after a while) tourism, but the rest of Britain? The “left behind” areas and regions? The North? I think not.
Every week longer that passes under the lockdown nonsense now puts the UK deeper into a hole which it may struggle to exit.
Tweets
Well, @beedeelight how would we know? AS far as I know there is no evidence of any connection between crashing the economy and reduced Covid-19 deaths. In the absence of such evidence, we're left with a coincidence. But guess what the govt will say? https://t.co/66uriqQieU
Well, @mr_xyz that would be an argument for hosing an electrical fire with water, which would be disastrous. Surely intelligence is the principal weapon in any government's locker. Wild spectacular flailing may impress the ignorant, but it is not necessarily effective. https://t.co/ALps4ryNpt
Interesting and informative, but the government and msm will turn a Nelsonian eye on it, and hope that most members of the public do not see it (or understand it, simple though it be)…

'We have now suffered three weeks of the most severe disruption our society has ever suffered, outside of wartime, with hardly any assessment of the side-effects on public health, let alone the economy.' Here is expert good sense from Prof John Lee: https://t.co/EDbYoehnST
'In the UK it is not even necessary to have a positive Covid-19 test to implicate it in the cause of death on the death certificate.' How many watching govt's nightly sermons grasp this? Prof John Lee provides cool analysis to those ready to think: https://t.co/EDbYoehnST
Because they panicked. You have to grasp that our political class is neither experienced, nor knowledgeable, nor wise. It seeks mainly to be popular. It is therefore very susceptible to media pressure and crowd thinking. https://t.co/0GnE9dqbmD
That last tweet is important, because it makes the points that matter about UK MPs (most of them, in fact almost all) and ministers, including Cabinet ministers. In Britain and especially in England, the holding of an office does tend to confer often unmerited respect. So we see “Cokehead” Gove and even little Matt Hancock treated with risible deference by the msm.
The most absurd msm sycophancy also lands at the feet of Boris-idiot, at least now that he is not going to snuff it from Coronavirus. He has not just had an unpleasant infection from which he has recovered (thanks in part to nurses whose pay he voted to freeze only a couple of years ago), but is a great war leader who has won a “battle for Britain” (at least in the tiny minds of Sun, Mail on Sunday and Daily Telegraph scribblers).
Most MPs in the UK now struggle, not for greatness, not for great intelligence, erudition, charisma or empathy, but for mediocrity. Many fail to make it even that high. That is why I decided to start my Deadhead MPs series on this blog.
He wants police to taser people who refuse to “comply” with police “orders” (by going home at once, instead of walking peacefully in parks etc). He says that those people (i.e. ordinary citizens, who pay for the police, by the way…) should then (after having been tasered) also have baton rounds (ie “rubber bullets” about 5 inches long) fired at them. The idiot (a former senior police officer in London, who was later one of those useless “Police and Crime Commissioner” wastes of space) ends his rant (on LBC radio) by wishing that the police could “beat people with long sticks” as in India (he is referring to a long thin baton used in India by their police, and called a lahti).
He had been criticized by then Home Secretary Theresa May. He had also remarked (perhaps understandably, but inappropriately) that he wanted to “batter and break the legs” of one criminal: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-35793654
This is a good example of the madness that is now abroad, with police shouting hysterically at completely harmless members of the public because they are walking alone or with spouses etc in the open air, or driving —again completely harmlessly— along highways or motorways. Screw them! This is not (yet) North Korea.
There is an element in the UK, in the police, on Twitter etc, which is the 2020 re-emergence of the WW2 busybodies who volunteered to walk around urban and suburban areas yelling “put that light out!” etc (a complete waste of time, because the Luftwaffe had this thing called “navigation”…).
Latest Coronavirus forecast
The latest forecasts are that the number of deaths from Coronavirus in the UK might be as low as 5,000, far from the 250,000+ many were predicting (some quite recent estimates were as high as 800,000!).
If that is so, and if something like the 5,000 estimate turns out to be accurate, we shall never know whether that result was because of the strict “lockdown” regime imposed, or or other reason. In the meantime, it is clear that the “lockdown” has given the coup de grace to much of the already-struggling UK economy. I shall be blogging separately about that.
So far, the death toll in the UK (attributed to the virus) is below 1,000.
It struck me very forcibly that, in Wuhan, the epicentre of the pandemic, and where the Coronavirus situation may now have passed, only 3% of people ever caught the virus, about 85,000 (confirmed cases). True, 3,000-4,000 still died, but one has to remember the size of Wuhan, the 9th-largest city in China. We are talking about a city as populous as London, in broad terms. 11 million inhabitants. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wuhan
I am sure of one thing. When this is over, the freedoms we have temporarily forsaken by Government decree, I suspect we won't be getting all of them back.
"We are pleased to announce that the number of deaths were far, far lower than predicted because we, the British people, were magnificent, we went on our doorsteps, clapped for our NHS and thus, saved many. many lives. And for that, I thank you." Boris Johnson, sometime in 2020.
Scientists at Kings College London suggests that as many as 6.6 million Brits may already have had the virus. Total deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the UK are 759, which equates to a mortality rate of 0.0115%
‘I love Big Brother!’ . Fancy a stroll down to the Chestnut Tree Cafe’ ? Their gin flavoured with cloves is very good? Oh , sorry, this isn’t 1984, it’s 2020, so I can’t even leave Victory Mansions. Freedom is slavery. Confinement is liberty. https://t.co/s0CO8jAmYM
We shall never know whether, or to what extent, that is the result of the extreme measures now in place.
Hypocrite of the day
The Transport Secretary, the Jew Grant Shapps, a “businessman” who owns two private planes, now says that British people will have to give up private cars and move to using buses, trams, trains, or start to cycle and walk! What a hypocrite!
Is that part of the hidden agenda behind the Coronavirus Act, which confers almost dictatorial powers upon the present government? Make British people poorer, import even more blacks and browns (the Great Replacement), repress dissent and any political meetings etc?
More police bullying
Looks like the thick plods at Derbyshire Police are firmly intent on making themselves despised, hated and ignored:
Despite posts yesterday highlighting issues of people still visiting the #PeakDistrict despite government guidance, the message is still not getting through. @DerPolDroneUnit have been out at beauty spots across the county, and this footage was captured at #CurbarEdge last night. pic.twitter.com/soxWvMl0ls
A man and wife with dog in the middle of nowhere, labelled by Derbyshire Poundland KGB as anti-social elements and a threat to public health, despite there not being another person for miles around!
Ha ha!
We saw last week where such places in Derbyshire and other parts of the country became dangerously overcrowded, making social distancing extremely hard, and in fact today our officers have had to break up a group having a picnic.
A picnic? Did the police shout out “Sweeney! You’re nicked!” as those picnicking bastards tried to reach for a cucumber sandwich or a Scotch egg?
This really is becoming a bad joke that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Actually, I recommend to all my blog readers that they read the Derbyshire Police on Twitter and, most importantly, the responses. The responses come in two main categories:
intelligent people who understand that the Derbyshire Police (and some other police forces) are going beyond both commonsense and the wording of the (new, dictatorial) law itself;
unintelligent people eager to enforce the strictest and least necessary “regulations” (as misinterpreted by over-zealous police) on other people simply because “authority” “says so” (as the uninformed believe).
Why so many Coronavirus deaths in Italy and Spain?
The present estimate for the eventual total of deaths in UK from Coronavirus is 5,700, but Italy is forecast to top 28,000 and Spain 46,000. I wonder why that is so.
Which are the highest (gross) totals for deaths in Europe from the virus? Italy, Spain, France, UK, Netherlands (so far). Obviously, population levels differ. Still, there is obviously a correlation in the numbers washing hands and the number of Coronavirus deaths.
It could really be as simple as that.
Overkill?
Obviously, the government, faced with Coronavirus, needed to prepare. In fact, it did not prepare well at all. The response has the feeling of a last minute bodge and panic. Now it is preparing mass mortuaries and mass temporary hospitals. These may or may not (probably will not) be required, but I make no quarrel with such preparations.
As to the police, they have rendered themselves a laughing stock. The Kevin Hurley person noted at the top of this blog post —wanting to taser and shoot and beat with long sticks people harmlessly walking or exercizing in parts or open country— may be an outlier, a ranting bully-type and/or (clearly) a control freak sans-pareil, but many of his colleagues up and down the country have been almost as bad, with their Common Purpose “leading beyond authority” arbitrary and illegitimate decisions as to what the law (such as the new mad law) actually is. The police are now in danger of losing all credibility.
The damage done to the UK economy, society, respect for law and order etc may be as good as permanent. Some of that damage may have been unavoidable, but most was avoidable.
What is really behind all this?
The political hit from all this will not be apparent in its plenitude for some time, maybe not until 2021 or 2022. So far, the government is riding fairly high, because there is no Opposition now. Labour is a bad joke far more than it was before the 2019 General Election. Also, Rishi Sunak’s open Treasury wallet has bought off much criticism and has shot Labour’s fox to a large extent, if not entirely. Sunak has buried the “austerity” of 2010-2019, at least in big picture terms. How long is the open wallet sustainable? That is an open question. No-one has asked anyone to pay the bill. Yet.
Evening foray
Seems that my opinion of two days ago was right: the supermarkets are getting on top of the “panic-buying” trend. This evening I went to Waitrose about half an hour before close. Everything seemed to be in good supply despite it being at the end of a Saturday of (I presume) busy shopping. Very few shoppers were there when I visited.
All the “panic-buy” items were still in supply: bread, eggs, water, meats etc, even loo paper! Only two items hinted at public anxiety: there was no flour for breadmaking. Completely stripped, as were items used for breadmaking, such as bicarbonate of soda. Also, all chickens had gone.
I was only there to buy bread and water, but did buy some other things, notably some excellent marked-down bargains (sushi boxes at 35p each instead of £4 to £7; cappuccino mousse at 15p instead of 80p, some nice pasta and pine nut salads at about 30p instead of nearly £4). So a successful ratissage. Hard to get used to the Handmaid’s Tale “militia” (Waitrose marshals) though, shuffling about outside the store and in the foyer, wearing their black clothing, armbands, woollen hats and scarfs covering the lower face.
I expect to stay home, like a good quiescent “Coronavirus” citizen, for a couple of days now.
The midnight hour…
Final thought
The Government is now saying that if the final death toll is not in the hundreds of thousands initially predicted, then that will have been only because of the strict “lockdown” measures ordered. The msm is parrotting that official line unthinkingly, not even questioning it. Why not? The “lockdown” measures were only ordered about 4-5 days ago and have only been effective for about 3 days . There is something not quite right here. Obviously, the “lockdown” will have an effect, but there is little precise evidence so far.
Update, 10 June 2020
Well, here we are three months on from the above blog article. Most the the above holds good. The glaring anomaly is the total of deaths. which in the UK is now taken to be 40,000. However, the statistics are unclear because the NHS has been certifying people who die with Coronavirus (and often also with another 2, 3 or 4 other “co-morbidities”) as having died from Coronavirus. Indeed, it now appears from the NHS’s own figures that the number of those who have died solely from Coronavirus is below 1,400.
The NHS has been seen to “protect” its hospitals, staff and some patients by simply off-loading patients with the virus to care homes, where tens of thousands have died. Scandal. Despite that, it seems that 20% of (known) Coronavirus infections took place in hospitals, a stunning indictment of the low standards of cleanliness in the HS.
Since I wrote the blog article, the vast new “Nightingale” hospitals have opened and then closed (many without having received a single patient), the ordinary NHS hospitals are uncrowded for the first time in decades (as patients wait at home, dying of everything but Coronavirus), and the economy is tanking as few people work as before the panic.
Though I examine particularly closely any claims made by a Jew, the information is interesting. There may be something in it.
It will be recalled that South Africa was said, in the 1980s, to be working on biological weapons which would only affect black Africans. South Africa was also far advanced in an atomic weapons programme, in collaboration with the Israelis working out of their nuclear centre at Dimona, in the Negev Desert of southern Israel.
It would not be beyond the realm of the possible were the Israelis to have collaborated with South Africa on biological warfare as well.
Now we see claims by the Israelis themselves that
Israeli scientists were working on a vaccine for Coronavirus even before the Wuhan outbreak; they attribute the co-incidence to “luck”.
On the wider point, it may be that this outbreak is in the nature of an experiment, and that at some later point a virus equally or more infectious but far more deadly will be released, with the aim of reducing the Earth’s population to 10% or 20% of what it presently is.
[note: the above paragraph is speculation only and should not be taken to be my settled view].
Rishi Sunak and the UK economic stimulus package
The bailout of the banks a decade ago was disastrous, inter alia because banks are merely a useful parasite upon the real economy. The bailout impoverished many individuals via the so-called “austerity” programme. It also gave preference to the banks over businesses in the real economy.
This latest “bailout for business” is also misconceived, because it supports businesses as such but not the most important basis for business, individual consumers.
What Sunak should do (but will not, because it —superficially— is in opposition to Conservative Party attitudes) is to establish a Basic Income for all citizens (citizens, not any migrant-invader straight off the boat (rubber boat).
That would boost and secure the retail sector and other sectors, and would enable people to pay rent etc.
I was at the nearest supermarket (Waitrose) at 1930 yesterday, half an hour before closing time. More shoppers than usual at that time, though not crowded. The main doors wide open to promote fresh air inflow (and virus outflow?). More staff than usual at that hour. The shelves looked as if an invading horde had looted the store. Whole shelves completely picked bare: no loo paper, pasta, pasta sauce, shower gel or bread (instead of the usual hundreds of loaves of about 30 different kinds, only one pack of “ancient grains” muffins left (I bought that) and two specialist Jewish loaves (from Cohen’s Bakery).
So it seems that the bulk-buying and/or panic-buying continues. I can only assume that people are buying bread to freeze it, anticipating…what? Civil war? Disordered chaos? One would normally scoff, but I have a lingering feeling that those panicking, preparing or “prepping” may not be so silly after all…
Half-truths
Try isolating in one room of a hostel, B&B or Women’s Refuge.
Even in a flat it’s different- can’t just pop out in the garden for some Vitamin D & air.
Everything hits the least wealthy/most vulnerable worse & of course, it’s usually Capitalism that made them vulnerable https://t.co/1FDY6UdO77
“Dr” Louise Raw (and another) making true points about poor housing and social conditions, while shoving in a silly point about “capitalism”. Has she never heard of, for example, Soviet housing conditions? Or maybe she calls that “State capitalism”, in the Trotskyist way? I do not know.
Are they revolting (yet)?
Just got in. There is a cold anger tonight in London. Real, near boiling.
The Tories have fucked this so badly. Obviously… The rest of Europe weeks ahead, and people yelled.
It will start soon. The underclass does not deserve this. Writing in tears. WE DONT DESERVE THIS

I wonder whether the people will come out onto the streets. Not now, though. However, down the line, it has to be a real possibility if large numbers of renters are evicted at the same time; and if people lose their jobs and are cast into the pit created by Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, the Jew “lord” Freud, Esther McVey, David Gauke, all those evil swine. I rule out nothing for later this year, for 2021, for 2022.
Maybe that is why the “emergency legislation” being nodded through Parliament this week will contain enhanced so-called “anti-terror” powers for police, MI5 etc…

Say that about this. We need to close schools. They ate always open to those students who need to be looked after during school hours. pic.twitter.com/yunqdQryce
I'm ex military and heard through the grapevine soldiers leave is being cancelled and those on leave recalled to barracks ready to help enforce curfews if and when they are announced.
I like a late night walk along the beach….I meet no one. Will this be an arrestable offence?
German POWs(yes they were still here!) from Ely’s 2 POW camps worked side by side with the British Army, reinforcing defences and rescuing people from rooves!
As I have blogged several times, Twitter is such a waste of time that I have even considered the possibility that it is being promoted precisely so that discontented people can imagine that they are engaging in socio-political activism by spending their days just tweeting. At any rate, that is what actually does happen. There are huge numbers of people on Twitter. Most are not political. Those that are think that they make a difference by being on Twitter. I doubt it.
I had 3,000 followers on Twitter when expelled, but was following only about 50, mostly organizations. You see some Twitter accounts with thousands or even tens of thousands of “followers” but then you notice that those accounts are themselves following a similar number of accounts!
Twitter is an interesting and potentially useful source of news and other information, but politically is largely a waste of time.
There is also the point that Twitter now “suspends” or suspends permanently (i.e. expels) many of the most interesting tweeters. This usually happens because of organized campaigns by either Zionist Jews or “antifa” idiots. In fact, those cabals revel in their pointless “activism”, as they did when I lost my Twitter account (which was not so important to me because I had “red-pilled” re. Twitter) but to those who denounced me would have been tragic, had it happened to them!
In fact, it did happen to some of them. Some, who had trolled me for years, are now gone, having been expelled. I notice that others have actually died; yet others are declining fast from chronic medical conditions…
Basic Income (again)
Some of the System politicians are thinking along the same lines as me:
Now Ian Blackford for SNP calling for temporary universal basic income
Coronavirus : Denmark’s government told private companies that it would cover 75% of employees’ salaries, if they promised not to cut staff. Putting money directly into people's pockets is a far better policy than the random policies pursued by the UK.https://t.co/wXVO2q14Js
