It includes the fact that California is lowering the standards for its Bar exam, in order to have more black and Latino lawyers passing. At present, most blacks and Latinos are failing the exam. Solution? Make the exam easier…
The above triggered a few personal memories.
I passed the New York Bar exam in 1991, if memory serves. At that time, the New York Bar was the second-hardest American Bar exam to pass (after California). Over half the candidates in New York failed (In California at that time, about 55% or maybe 60% failed the exam). Some states held Bar exams in which the failure rate was only about 10% or 15%. I seem to recall that North Dakota (or possibly South Dakota) was the easiest, or one of the easiest.
I know those statistics (as far as I can remember them) because I took a course called Bar-Bri, a private cramming course which involved going to lectures (pretty good ones, much better than those I recall from the Inns of Court School of Law in London), given every weekday evening for about 3 weeks at the Manhattan Town Hall (just a name— nothing to do with local government in New York) on West 43rd Street: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Town_Hall_(New_York_City)
[Town Hall, 43 W.43rd St, Mamhattan, New York City]
Bar-Bri’s excellent written materials (included in their rather expensive fees totalling, in 1991, about USD $1,500) included statistics about the Bar exams of each state, what percentage of candidates passed and —of course!— what percentage of Bar-Bri customers passed).
The New York part of the exam was only a third of the whole exam as it was at that time (it’s different now), the other bits being U.S. Federal (inc. Constitutional) law and “Multistate” law, which is an odd concept, arguably, being the law as it is in a preponderance of the 50 US states. So if 26 states have a rule which 24 states do not have, the right answer will be whatever is right in those 26 states.
To take a very simple example, most states of the USA allow a motorist to turn left on a red stop-light in certain circumstances, but a few states (including New Jersey, where I lived) prohibit that.
The New York Bar exam was pretty tough at that time, the strictly New York law part consisting of about 30 legal topics of which only a small number would be examined. The problem, of course, was that you did not know which. Some topics always came up (notably “New York Practice”), some came up frequently, others rarely. Swotting for them all would have required a photographic memory. I made a choice and was lucky.
A couple of obscure topics on which which I had focussed (including “Commercial Paper”) did come up. I passed the New York Bar Exam with (as I recall) a score somewhere not far short of 90%, maybe 86% or so). On the final day of the exam, I thought that I had probably failed. Fortunately not.
[nb: I understand that the New York Bar adopted a different scoring system in 2016, one not involving percentages, so my reminiscences here are of purely personal or historical interest].
In fact, I was wasting my time taking and passing the New York Bar Exam. I never did practise law in New York, and later only used the knowledge or the status occasionally, though I did work at one time partly from Charleston, South Carolina, with an offshore law firm which dealt mostly with foreign jurisdictions (Russia, Caribbean states and territories, Liechtenstein, Channel Islands etc). The fact that I was an attorney and counsellor at law, New York, was useful in terms of people’s perception, as was the fact that I had worked for a while (in 1997, in Kazakhstan) for a major American law firm, Baker & McKenzie (now simply Baker McKenzie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_McKenziehttps://www.bakermckenzie.com/en/locations/emea/kazakhstan).
Reverting to the idea of making exams or other selection procedures easier so that certain groups (eg blacks who want to be lawyers) can have greater success in entering a profession, the concept is a slippery slope which ends in decadence. We already see, in the UK, that nearly half of young people go to some form of “university”, and that a huge number now get “First” or “Upper Second” degrees (at Oxford and Cambridge, about 94% get one or other such grade). Result? Degrees generally, even “Oxbridge” ones, are near-worthless, both in themselves and in terms of vocational “market value”. And what about the rights of those who will be advised, represented, treated (in the case of medics), or ruled (in the case of politicians) by such graduates?

The voice of the bossy nosey parker is heard in the land. From @alkcheet comes a perfect summary of the view of the Mask Zealot: Do what you're told! Who cares if it works? That's not the point. The good citizen is the submissive citizen. (The constitution of the beehive state). https://t.co/AKtZjrmhiC
Surgical masks are fitted and quite unlike the loose bits of cloth you refer to. They are antibacterial, not antiviral, and mainly designed to prevent infective material falling into deep open operative wounds. For the millionth time. @sheenagrindley. https://t.co/hJJwFEtp8O
A good point from Hitchens, and one that most people do not know. They think that their pathetic facemasks and muzzles are equivalent to surgical masks, just as some people think that the urban-operational clothing of the SAS is simply fairly standard black clothing as worn by the public generally, when in fact it is manufactured to be not only very tough, but flame-retardant etc.
Yesterday, I saw the last couple of minutes of some F1 racing programme on TV. Three commentating idiots, in the open air, with not another person in sight, and all three of them standing 6+ feet (more like 10 ft) apart, and all three wearing large black face muzzles. System propaganda, yes, but very stupid as well.
More on the filth that #Asda are pushing on children. "If you tolerate this, your children will be next" – ah, yes, they already are.#boycottASDA paedophilia. https://t.co/rhN3SiZHgW
The society which thinks itself “enlightened”, “diverse”, and even “free”, while in fact becoming a dystopian nightmare and a multikulti slave-society.
1/3 'Spain has a reputation for having some of the strictest policies on masks in Europe, with the public even encouraged to wear face-coverings outside….' https://t.co/DttaWTfpfp
2/3 '…Yet today, Spain’s Health Ministry announced that the number of coronavirus cases has continued to rise, with 9,848 cases counted over the past two days…' https://t.co/DttaWTfpfp
And so to Waitrose. En route, in the car (the subject of a recent, unexpected, and almost miraculous MOT pass), saw a silly rabbit wearing a facemask as he walked down the road, alone, not another walker, nor even cat or dog, in sight. Just a very few cars on the road.
I wonder what answer an idiot like that would give if asked “why are you wearing a facemask, indeed a large black muzzle, as you walk alone down a quiet suburban or semi-rural road with no-one else around?” Would he reply “Government orders!”? Would he reply “I don’t know“? Would he reply “I have a mental problem and feel afraid all the time for no reason”? Or would he reply “I am a truly senseless virtue-signaller“? God knows…
In Waitrose itself, I noticed for the first time this month quite a few people not wearing facemasks or muzzles. A minority, true, but they were there. How they managed to get past the two black-clad Handmaid’s Tale militia loitering near the store entrance, I have no idea. They may have said that they are exempted from wearing the muzzles; more likely, they wore facemasks to pass the militia, then took them off. It was good to see open defiance of the (possibly invalid) new and repressive “law”.
Incidentally, I noticed, on the back of the “militia”, on their black bomber jackets, the words “National Security“! Presumably the company for which they work. The country just gets madder daily. In fact, the “militia” look a dozy lot. I doubt that they deter (let alone catch) many, if any, shoplifters etc; their role seems to be purely to discourage non-mask-wearers. Mad. There again, the country is mad, the “government” of clowns is mad, the mass media too. So why not?
“Come with me, and I’ll show you where the Iron Crosses grow…“
An annoying early-morning start to the day, waking up not far past the middle of the night to typical rubbish on the BBC World Service. A programme called United Zingdom, in which what sounded like two Welsh women (one certainly was, being one Lisa Angharad) got together to trash England, the UK, and the British people. One of them apparently has a Singapore passport as well as a British one.
Everything, it seems, is the fault of “the British” (English). They, the English, are basically nasty, “racist” etc. They should not want their own country, language, customs, population. Now Wales, Wales is different! It (apparently) should have its own language etc. The bias and sheer untruth in that little broadcast was incredible.
The woman with the Singapore passport was asked about whether she would prefer to live there and seemed to affirm, though she said that “but they have anti-gay laws there…”, which apparently was a drawback. She then added “…but the British brought those to Singapore“. Ah, so once more the British (and failing that, no doubt any other white Northern Europeans) were to blame! I should have guessed. The other woman then chimed in with “ah, the British again“. Why are we paying (forced to pay) the BBC so that it can pay bitches like that to spout anti-British propaganda?
They should have added that, until the British arrived on the island of Singapore, there was nothing there at all, and had not been for at least 200 years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Singapore
Another couple of deliberate inaccuracies: we were told that the Welsh language is vibrant and becoming more spoken, and that there is “a huge upsurge” in Welsh nationalism.
Language: I myself know from experience in the 1980s that Welsh is naturally a first language in some areas, in West Wales especially. It seems however that less than a quarter of the Welsh population as a whole speak Welsh to any useable standard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_language
Welsh nationalism: Plaid Cymru is only nominally “nationalist” anyway, willing to have people in Wales “whatever their race, nationality, gender, colour, creed [etc]” [Plaid Cymru platform].
Plaid Cymru controls only one local council in Wales (out of dozens). It also has 4 out of 40 Westminster MPs (a figure unchanged or not much changed since the 1970s), and in the last (and final) EU elections had elected 1 MEP out of 4 (their best result was in 1999, 2 out of 5).
Conclusion: there is no upsurge of Welsh “nationalism”, let alone a huge one.
The trashing of the World Service has been one of the saddest things over the past 30 years. It was once interesting, lively, truthful, stimulating. 1970s and 1980s. Now, it cannot even seem to be able to tell the time clearly! The World Service seemed to go into a kind of spiral of decline in the 1990s. A Jewish woman whose name I forget was on constantly, and —quelle surprise— obsessed on air about “holocaust” and “Nazis” almost nonstop.
The decline of BBC World Service continued, reaching (I hope) the bottom round about 2010. In the past year or two, there has been a slight improvement, but only slight. There are still only a few worthwhile programmes, the best being The Forum, especially when presented by Bridget Kendall: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/w3cszjvchttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridget_Kendall.
Martin Bell, the famous broadcaster, journalist and one-term MP [Independent, Tatton] made the point several times that, in dangerous parts of the world (Iraq, Bosnia etc) people know the BBC World Service, yet the World Service is funded on a shoestring compared to rather useless projects such as the British Council [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Council]
I really value the BBC World Service, which is precisely why I despise what it has largely become. As Nietzsche wrote: “the great despisers are also the great reverers” [Friedrich Nietzsche, Also Sprach Zarathustra].

I’m so sick of this ‘The British People’ nonsense. It’s inflammatory and divisive and also errant vacuous nonsense with no meaning in a multi-party democracy. The phrase should be banned from political discourse. https://t.co/zVW56W5qlZ
Here we see science popularizer Professor Brian Cox putting forward, yet again, his tendentious political views. The sort of person all too common in the UK, meaning someone who wants the country to become even more of a multikulti dustbin. After all, “I’m all right, Jack”.
There are two types of scientist: the ones doing serious research and perhaps making real and even great discoveries or leaps forward; then there are the others, who are basically popular in the mass media, write books popular with the public, are on TV frequently, rack up official honours (and plenty of money) for all that. Nuff said…
Cox is a good example of the “clever person” (not infrequently someone of scientific background) who has come to think that he is a good deal more clever than he is and who, at least when out of his specialist area or areas, is rather silly.
Incidentally, he presumably meant to say “arrant nonsense“, not “errant nonsense“…
they are criminals trying to break in to our country illegally. We shouldn't be saving these people at all. They could stay in France and have zero need to come here apart from to fleece our country.
I fancy a nice house on the beach in either Africa or Asia. I'll admit, government benefits would do nicely too, along with free education & health care. Guaranteed sunshine. Do you think the natives would accept me & my white arsed family when we pitch up?
There are huge numbers of bien-pensant idiots in the UK, who love to think of themselves as kind, compassionate, generous etc, as they virtue-signal on Twitter and elsewhere. The famous or infamous ones, such as Yvette Cooper, Lily Allen, Gary Lineker etc are only the tip of the iceberg. Below their capital, income, and public-recognition levels, there are thousands, perhaps even millions of others.
I hesitate to say that none of those people, the “refugees welcome” dimwits, would ever accommodate migrant-invaders in their own homes. A few of the brainwashed and obscure ones might, just as, out of tens of millions, a very few people swim the Channel (to France, usually!), or learn to speak 10 languages fluently.
I met a man once who worked near Elephant and Castle, London, and who could speak, not 10 languages, admittedly, but certainly 8 languages fluently, and those languages did include some of the near-“impossible” ones, such as Finnish and Hungarian.
Such people are rare. They are not the general run. Most of the “refugees welcome” dimwits want the State and/or other people (which is all the State is, in the end) to house and feed those migrant-invaders, and to educate the children of the invaders. The dimwits prioritize the invaders over English/British people such as the ex-soldiers sleeping on the streets, or the middle-aged Brits struggling to survive after the (basically Jewish-influenced) “austerity” of 2010-2020 and the socio-economic upheavals which have occurred and those which lie ahead.
I thought that Richard Tice, 2-i-c of Brexit Party, had been nominated for a peerage; apparently not. Claire Fox has, though. What a strange nomination that is.
I first saw Claire Fox [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claire_Fox] on TV about a decade ago. I think that it was on Newsnight. Or Daily Politics. I think the former. She was supposedly the head of something called The Institute of Ideas. I was curious enough to look it up via Internet. There was not much to see. The “Institute” seemed to consist mainly of Claire Fox, and (I found out after a while) seemed to be funded mainly by a City of London hedge fund speculator Jew, whose name I cannot at present recall.
As for Claire Fox herself, as seen on TV, she was not at all impressive, not convincing; there was something fake about her and her “Institute”, even before I started to look into it.
I found the “Institute of Ideas” to be little more than a facade; indeed, little more than a catchy name. I was unable to discover much about it. The whole thing seemed opaque, insubstantial. One could not grasp hold of it.
I see now that others, such as the journalist and TV news presenter, Jon Snow, had similar problems:
” The news broadcaster Jon Snow, according to a Guardian article, withdrew from an event to which he had been invited by the Royal Society of Arts after realising the IoI’s involvement. Snow felt there was a lack of transparency. ‘I didn’t have a clear idea of who they were,’ he said. This lack of transparency affects almost every aspect of IoI events, as the article notes: ‘From the platforms and the floor, the LM [Living Marxism] line is assiduously promoted by the magazine’s supporters and contributors – often without clear attribution of their affiliations.’ ” [Lobbywatch] http://www.lobbywatch.org/profile1.asp?PrId=142]
It seems that the “Institute” was founded in 2000 by Fiona Fox, sister of Claire Fox, and other undisclosed persons. Fiona Fox also heads the Science Media Centre [http://www.lobbywatch.org/profile1.asp?PrId=121], which is embedded within the very Establishment scientific body, the Royal Institution [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Institution]. Another sister, Gemma Fox, heads an EU-funded IT organization in Wales.
Another fairly high-profile person connected with the above is Frank Furedi, a person of Hungarian origins, frequently on BBC radio [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Furedi], whose wife is the head of the UK’s largest abortion “advice” organization.
Some of the tweets of Spiked can command my support, many cannot, such as this pitiful article:
Hiroshima was an experiment in extermination. The West viewed the Japanese as racially distinct and inferior. Sadly, this kind of racial thinking has returned with a vengeance. We must say loud and clear: there is only one human race, says @MsDinglehttps://t.co/vKTf4MrWc1
Taking just the main contention of that article, the Anglo-American atom-bomb project aka the Manhattan Project or Tube Alloys [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhattan_Project; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tube_Alloys] had as its primary aim the destruction of Germany and the German people, not Japan. Most of the scientists of importance were Jews. They hated Germany and National Socialism. Some were also Communists. Germany was only saved from atomic destruction by its unconditional surrender before the bomb was ready to be used.
The above exploration may or may not be interesting, but what interests me now and particularly is why did Boris-idiot (Boris Johnson) nominate Claire Fox for a peerage? Why?
Claire Fox has no real academic pedigree. Even in the 1980s (i.e. before the start of the present “award inflation”, by which almost all students get a supposed “First” or “Upper Second” degree), a 2:2 in English and American Literature scarcely cut it in the academic world! She was a mental health social worker for some years after graduation, then for 10 years a lecturer in English Literature at a couple of technical colleges in South Essex and in South Hertfordshire.
I think that we can be sure that Claire Fox’s peerage nomination was not for “services to education”!
We have already seen that, as a “think tank”, the “Institute of Ideas” scarcely existed. Even as an active lobby group, its activities do not seem to have had much impact. Claire Fox, despite a few appearances on TV, including the —now very outdated— Question Time, was not until recently (until 2019) a very publicly-known person; neither has she been involved with anything normally likely to attract an honour of any sort, let alone a peerage.
What about Claire Fox’s political life? Well, membership of the Revolutionary Communist Party or anything like it has never been an easy route to the House of Lords! Anyone with similar views who ended up with a peerage at least had to pretend to be “Labour”! I cannot think of many, even so. A few Jews, now long gone, perhaps. As for a “revolutionary communist”, even one now sort-of apostate, being ennobled “on the recommendation of” a Conservative Party Prime Minister would have been unthinkable, until now.
Claire Fox joined Nigel Farage’s pop-up “Brexit Party” in 2019, was selected (along with at least two other “former” Revolutionary Communist Party members) as a candidate for the European elections. She was elected, and was an MEP for about a year, until the UK nominally left the EU. One year…
It goes beyond that. Claire Fox has said things that many consider unforgiveable, such as, and in particular, her championing of IRA bombing in 1993, specifically the killing of a child.
Looking at it all, it seems inconceivable that, even a few years ago, or today, such a person could ever be nominated for a peerage, to become one of the UK’s upper house legislators, even bearing in mind the weird collection now in the Lords. Yet there she sits (soon). In fact, her previous (never reversed) support for the IRA has not stood in her way. Even the Sun “newspaper” has her on its YouTube channel!
Not that I disagree with everything she says. I agree with some of what she is saying in the above clip. [Having now —several hours later— seen all of the interview, I concede that I agree with a good deal of what she says in it].
So why was she given (nomination for) a peerage? I cannot entirely work it out, but it is obviously connected with her work for Brexit, and even more so with the standing down of most Brexit Party candidates while the election campaign was ongoing. A stunning act of betrayal by con-man Nigel Farage. He shot his own party in the neck. Or the back. Moreover, he stood down only candidates facing previously-incumbent or new Conservative Party candidates! Including Conservative Party candidates who were Remain supporters!
Nigel Farage ensured that the Conservative Party won the 2019 General Election. It might have won anyway, but might not have done, and certainly would not have achieved a Commons majority of 80 (or any majority).
If I am correct, and Claire Fox has been somehow rewarded for supporting Farage in his betrayal, why has Farage himself (or his 2-i-c, Tice), not been nominated for the House of Lords? There could be a number of reasons, such as (speculating) that Farage has been paid, as his reward, millions of pounds into an offshore secret account. Why not? I have no evidence that that is the case, but it seems not unlikely to me. £10 million? £20 million? Cheap at the price, when you get the UK in exchange…
Anyway, “the night is young”. Farage still might get a peerage from Boris-idiot; next year, or the year after. Tice too, maybe. Maybe Claire Fox getting one now is in the nature of a “statement of intent” or down-payment to Farage. Maybe giving Farage a peerage right now would make the corruption and betrayal just too obvious. Next year? 2022? Maybe.
The present politics of the System is more than sleazy. It has to be exterminated.

A must read. Gosh, this virus has brought out the inner nasty in so many. Sad. https://t.co/2ISqJBAOEJ
I went to a university, not a ‘uni’ and did not study PPE, @i0null. You, wherever you went, seem to have completely missed the point I was making, that the precaution should be proportionate to the danger, and have some experimental basis. Muzzles fail both these tests. https://t.co/TeIr94IzAu

Interesting how many of the muzzle zealots who attack me end their tweets with a peremptory 'Wear a mask!' or 'Wear a ****ing mask!' Yet I have never a suggested to any of them that they take theirs off (except by implication, during blood donations where a mask creates a risk).
Orwell once wrote: "Remarks like ‘They can’t run me in; I haven’t done anything wrong’, or ‘They can’t do that; it’s against the law’, are part of the atmosphere of England." This powerful article (which I do not endorse) suggests this is no longer true : https://t.co/70ljflCb0V
It’s ‘Mr Hitchens’ to you,@ionull . And no, I prefer not to cover my face with a loose soggy, porous nappy whose only true purpose is to proclaim my submission to and support of the stupidest government policy in history. Because I don’t support it. You wear one if you want. https://t.co/1WzZWzCQnA
I think that the film is one of the best of its type that I have seen. Quite long on TV (with ad breaks, 2 hrs 35 mins), it nonetheless kept the attention throughout (and that is not always the case with me: in younger days, as a 20-something, I was notorious among my friends for getting bored and walking out of cinemas after 20 or 30 minutes of the start of a film).
Assuming that the film was accurate (and I do remember some of the details of that terrible event of 2013), the wife of the main terrorist —she was a Muslim convert, he a Chechen resident in the Boston area— was lucky that it was considered that there was insufficient evidence to charge her.
As for the surviving terrorist, he only last week won his appeal against the death sentence he eventually received. He will spend the rest of his life in some soulless American prison. He was only 19 when he helped his brother to bomb the marathon event.
Such people cannot be described as “urban guerrillas”, if that term is still in use. They are purely terrorists, actuated by malice rather than anything approaching real ideology.
Some may say, “but look what American forces do, bombing civilians“, and that is true, but even from the point of view of hearts and minds, and leaving aside ethics, to bomb a civilian event like the Boston Marathon has no point and indeed is counter-productive: the Islamists gain nothing but the enmity of a superpower and its people.
The above musical fossil, dating from 1977, displays contrived (?) sentiments about “revolution”. As late as 1977, elements of the Soviet state were pretending to be all about proletarian revolution!
I recall commenting to my then girlfriend, about 1982, how the Soviet Union (where I had never been) seemed fossilized; I referred as example to the masthead of Pravda, which showed the cruiser Aurora, the naval vessel which, in October 1917 (old-style), fired the first shot signalling the Bolshevik seizure of power in Petrograd.[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_cruiser_Aurora].
[the cruiser Aurora, as shown on the medal, the Order of the Red Banner; the words say “October Revolution”]
My then girlfriend, though certainly not Communist, disagreed with my analysis (that the Soviet Union was fossilized), and she had in a sense the advantage of me, having lived there for a number of years up to about 1978 or so and knew it, in general, far better than me. Still, I was right and she was wrong. Why?
There is a natural human tendency to accept that tomorrow will be at least similar to today. The daily commuter who goes on the train every day, until he dies unexpectedly overnight, or hits the Lotto.
The “Russian” Revolution seems today to have been almost inevitable, looking back over a century, and perhaps even two centuries (i.e. from the Decembrist revolt of 1825 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decembrist_revolt]. Hindsight is always so.
The Russians of 1917, most of them, were taken by surprise when the first (February, old-style) 1917 Revolution happened. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_Revolution]. Lenin, in exile, dismissed it as unimportant, or at least not as “the” predicted revolution (once-bitten, twice-shy, perhaps, Lenin having said, inaccurately, in 1905, that the uprising in that year was “the” revolution): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1905_Russian_Revolution
In 1917, having heard of the revolution, Lenin only arrived in revolutionary Petrograd 2 months later! He then started to organize the coup d’etat which occurred 6 months later and which is now known as the “October Revolution” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/October_Revolution].
When Lenin arrived in Petrograd, he had, in all Russia, probably only between 10,000-50,000 members in his Bolshevik faction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolsheviks#Demographics_of_the_two_factions. Lenin prevailed because his faction had discipline, and because he was unwilling to compromise.
My point here, though, is that it is hard to tell when significant and even —perhaps especially— seismic change will occur, in society or in the world as a whole. Lenin managed to seize power in late 1917 mainly because the real revolution, earlier in the year, had not stabilized into a firm and effective government. Lenin was not the creator or instigator of that first event, in fact he was irrelevant in respect of it.
Turning from events in 1917 to those toward the end of the Soviet period, the Soviet Union had given up the idea of revolution decades before: after the death of Stalin in 1953, and arguably since the exile and —1940— death of Trotsky, or even earlier (“Socialism in one country” was mooted as far back as 1924, and put into practice, in part, in the 1930s).
The “revolution” stuff after that was strictly for the naive: foreign fools and, in the Soviet Union itself, mostly Young Pioneers (akin to the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides of Britain) and maybe a few Komsomol members.
Yet the image, right up to the collapse of 1989 and the official dissolution of 1991, both outside the Soviet Union and to some extent, officially, within it, was that the Revolution, in some sense, was still guiding the society, along with the Marxism-Leninism still published and taught everywhere (but in reality ignored and/or privately scorned).
In my own unpublished work of 1990, I said that Fukuyama was simplistic and wrong. No-one took any notice of course, because the book was never published, and anyway I was an unknown, completely obscure, whereas Fukuyama was (according to System blurbs and drones) a “respected scholar” etc. Yet I was right and he was wrong.
In fact, a few people do seem to have agreed with my view: “Authors like Ralf Dahrendorf argued in 1990 that the essay gave Fukuyama his 15 minutes of fame, which will be followed by a slide into obscurity.[14][15] “[Wikipedia]
The West has the same problem as had the Soviet Union: an inability to accept its own sclerosis.
The future is, perhaps ipso facto, unexpected. In 1928, the NSDAP got 2.6% of the national vote in Germany. Hitler was considered a joke by many both in Germany and outside. As he later said, “They were laughing at [me and National Socialism] but they are not laughing now!“
What about that 2.6% vote? In 1932, it became 33%, and then, in 1933, 44%. Hitler was Chancellor, unchallenged, and everything changed in Germany and in Europe.
Moving to the UK of 2020, there are parallels. The Coronavirus situation has been blown up out of all proportion, allowing the System (not only in the UK, but across the “West”) to attempt a “Reset” of the Western world. The political sphere in the UK has been frozen. People cannot gather, or even easily talk face to face.
Parliament is not in any real sense sitting; in fact Parliament has been sidelined, unable or unwilling to scrutinize new “laws”, laws passed not by Parliament, but rammed through as secondary legislation, using obscure statutes, and by a would-be despotic government headed by the biggest idiot of the lot, the part-Jew (ex?) public entertainer, Boris Johnson, aka Boris-idiot, sitting on his pediment (of a Conservative Party majority of 80).
In other words, Parliament may still exist but its useful life in its present form has ended. Not just the Commons: the House of Lords now has nearly 800 members. The quantity is a problem, but so is the quality. Boris-idiot has added 38 “peers” just recently. Our “legislators” now include cricketer “lord” Ian Botham, pseudo-intellectual “baroness” Claire Fox of the Brexit Party and the Revolutionary Communist Party (!), and many many other deadheads, such as the failed bra-designer “entrepreneuse”— and so many others that I do not choose to list them all.
What about the Monarchy? It is being held together as a once-respected institution by a public relations effort and by the fact that the Queen is still there. The Queen is a link with the past, with Britain as it was when it was 99% white, and when it however had a global empire etc.
There are efforts being put in to make the public believe that “King Charles III” (already nearly 72) and then “King William V” (now 38) will take the place of the present Queen. On paper, perhaps, but not in terms of mass psychology.
Of course we also have the lesser lights and hangers-on, such as the dim “cuck” Harry and his “Royal Mulatta”, entitled arrogant idiot and doormat for several Jews, Andrew, and theatrical am-drammer Edward; and their stupid spoiled offspring.
Then we have the other pillars of English life, on paper: the Bar, the “free” Press, the Church of England etc. All now facades, mere Potemkin villages.
Will this present society survive the coming years? I think not. True, there is at present little sign of upheaval in the UK, despite the above-mentioned matters, despite mass immigration (migration-invasion), despite Boris-idiot inviting 4 million Chinese to come to live here, despite everything. That may not be the last word, though.
Was there obvious sign of imminent political upheaval in the Germany of 1928? No. In fact, Germany seemed to have finally found stability both economically and politically by 1928. Then came the Wall Street Crash followed by the Great Depression.
Was there obvious sign of upheaval in the Russia of, say, 1916? Some, by reason of the war with the Central Powers, and the consequent poverty and general discontent. However, if you take it back to 1913, there was no such sign.
“Extremist” solutions to Britain’s problems may be unpopular in 2020; by 2022 or 2023, they may be the only ones that seem to make any sense.

God, that horrible cruel ape! I have often thought that T.E. Lawrence, “Lawrence of Arabia”, has a lot to answer for. Had Lawrence not fanned the flames of Arab nationalism and indeed Saudi nationalism, the Western states, and in fact maybe even just the European empires, could easily have taken the oil of Arabia and the surrounding region for the use of the advanced part of the world, and without having to give vast sums to any of the Arabs. Most of the wealth of the Arabs has been squandered anyway, one way or the other.
I may dislike (and oppose) the Jews, speaking generally, but I despise most of the Arabs.

Statistics show that the Chinese have, as a national group, the highest IQ in the world, higher even than Northern Europeans. It is true that some of their achievements, both ancient and modern, are hugely impressive, yet I have to say that (with the arguable exception of a nuclear scientist I once met in the USA), all those that I have met personally or observed have seemed to me to be dimwits. Maybe I have just been unfortunate.

As most readers will know, Jeremy Corbyn is being sued for libel. The Jews are all crowing about it. They hope to see him ruined and reduced to poverty etc. Typical.
Naturally, I am not and never was a “supporter” of Corbyn and/or the Labour Party. Corbyn was only too ready to pay lip-service to the propaganda of the Jew-Zionist element, notably the largely-fake “holocaust” farrago; also, he was always surrounded by blacks and seemed fine about the UK becoming a multikulti dustbin. As for his retailing of the ludicrous 1930’s Popular Front and “No Pasaran!“, “Battle of Cable Street” (etc) nonsense, well… one could ascribe that either to Corbyn’s poor intellectual level or to a lack of imagination, or both.
Having said the above, I hope that Corbyn’s defence succeeds. “They” must be opposed in all ways and at all times. Their assault on freedom of expression in the UK is now at a fever pitch.

The Britain that once was: August 1940 .German radio: 'Meanwhile, in Britain, the entire population, faced by the threat of an invasion, has been flung into a state of complete panic.’ https://t.co/a54GGpeGBQ
An amusing contrast with the fear and panic engendered (mainly via government propaganda etc) by the “Coronavirus” of 2020. In fact, “Operation Sealion” (the German plan to invade the UK in 1940) was more in the nature of a contingency plan than a full operational plan, a fact underlined by its name: Unternehmen Seelowe, rather than Fall Seelowe (cf. Fall Gelb, the plan to invade France in 1940, and Uberfall auf Polen, the plan to invade Poland in 1939).
“Operation Sealion” was never a full operational plan: Hitler wanted Britain and its Empire as an ally, or at least neutral, not as an enemy or vanquished enemy, ideally, which is why he refused to allow the British forces at Dunkirk (including my own grandfather) to be destroyed.
It may be that Hitler created an impression of invasion preparation in order to get the British political leadership to the negotiating table. Three separate peace offers or offers of serious negotiation, were made; all were rejected out of hand by Churchill and his clique.
There is also the point that Germany simply did not have the sea-carrying capacity, on barges and ships, to transport sufficient forces across the Channel. In other words, Hitler could not have succeeded in invading the UK even had he wanted to do that.
The above facts were known to the British leadership in 1940, as Lord Alanbrooke (Chief of the Imperial General Staff) noted in his diary, but Churchill, in the Jewish pocket, deliberately misled the public, and pretended that an invasion was a serious possibility, and even likelihood. There never was a serious threat, but the public never knew it.
As usual clear, excellent, referenced and expert analysis from Swiss Policy Research . Muzzle Zealots please note :. https://t.co/kPmL4EXSYH
My personal impression is that large numbers of people do understand that the government has mishandled the “virus” “crisis” and that there is, now, no crisis (if there ever was). However, there is an ingrained British tendency to obey the law even where (as in this case) the law may not actually be “the law” (because invalid in itself and in its application). There is also the social pressure from the “rabbits” and the busybody types (eg re. facemask wearing). The fear of actually getting “the virus” is far less than in April or May but is still there in the background. Finally, the threat of a £100 fine is there, though that is probably the least-powerful of the reasons why there has not been much dissent and/or rebellion (eg by not wearing facemasks).
One has to judge the public mood by experience and anecdote in this. I went to a local pharmacy yesterday. I put on a small disposable mask on entering (mask below nose though), just to do the minimum to avoid being refused service. In fact, the pharmacist and assistant, though shielded by perspex screens, were not wearing masks; neither was the only other shopper, a blonde lady of about 50 or so.
It seems that about 17 boats full of migrant-invaders crossed the Channel yesterday, aided by hot weather and almost no wind. 250+ invaders. In one day.
So will Priti Patel do anything except pretend to be “furious”? No. Will the Navy sink the boats of the invaders? No. Will the Navy shoot the invaders? No. Will the Navy “turn back” the invaders to France? I doubt it. So what will the Navy do, if anything? Bring the invaders to the UK? Most likely…
Priti Patel is useless. A useless bitch in a useless government. Somewhere in Uganda, a grocery store counter is unattended…
Yes .Ms Shriver can tell a hawk from a handsaw. But where is @douglaskmurray in this, the most important controversy of our time and a striking case of The Madness of Crowds? https://t.co/x6MddVSPGa
In fact, things must be getting bad: even Fortnum’s are laying off staff, which is a pity, and undeserved. The last time I was in Fortnum’s, in October 2016 (in fact on the day of my maliciously-procured disbarment, procured by a pack of evil Jews), the staff were superb, and much better than some had been back in 2001-2002 when I was a frequent customer (mainly for the excellent Fortnum & Mason Viennese Coffee)
How long before people start to realize that, as a really serious or fatal condition, “the virus” in the UK is pretty much at an end?
[The death rate was in fact already falling before “lockdown” was even implemented, let alone the very recent facemask nonsense]
The economic fallout has only just started.
Psychological aspects
It occurred to me yesterday, as I observed both dissenters and “rabbits” (eager or very compliant facemask-wearers) in Waitrose, that there is a strong psychological aspect to this facemask nonsense.
When masked, you cannot much express your feelings, whether by smiling or scowling. The people are distanced from each other by the mask(s), as they are also by the 6-foot “social distancing”, another government diktat which is without much independent scientific backing.
There may be, behind the scenes, a long-term psychological experiment or programme being carried out here, carried out on the public at large, in order to produce results later on, perhaps decades or even centuries in the future.
When a candidate-freemason is initiated as a member of a masonic lodge, certain things are done to him: he is blindfolded, a cold sword is placed on his flesh etc. This is done, beyond the outward symbolism, in order to inculcate definite sensations in the feeling and will of the candidate. [also worth reading but more generally: https://wn.rsarchive.org/GA/GA0167/19160404p01.html]
There is an analogy to be made between what that masonic ceremony inculcates by way of conditioning a candidate, and what is being done to the general public by way of conditioning using “social distancing”, facemask wearing etc. Avoidance of others, even relatives, even non-resident girlfriends/boyfriends; the wearing of masks which show little or no emotion; the staying 6 feet clear of others. All these are not without effect, possibly profound and longlasting effect.
I noticed when in the local Waitrose (a couple of miles from my humble home) that people, who otherwise may be perfectly sensible, steer their shopping trolleys or carts around me so as to keep as near to the silly “6 feet” or “2 metres” distance as they can (because, after all, I might have the plague…)! Rabbits.
Many if not most probably realize that, in general, Boris Johnson is an idiot, his ministers stupid clowns, and “SAGE” ludicrously misnamed; yet there they all are, wearing masks, “social distancing”, in one part of their minds pretending to themselves that there is real danger around, while they (at least the more intelligent) must know that that is simply not so.
Was I myself wearing a mask? Sadly, yes, because without the mask, the Handmaid’s Tale militia that Waitrose now have, loitering outside their stores, will not let you in (though they have no power to do anything more beyond chucking you out if a manager-person tells them to do that). I half-wear the mask (the smallest ones purchaseable), leaving my nose free, and make sure to express my dissent to any staff I encounter who know me by sight (in fact, so far all have agreed with me).
You sometimes see people on Twitter etc saying that, were they to live under some repressive regime, they would be part of some “resistance” movement. Yeah, right! They will not even question the most absurd excesses of this”virus” nonsense, such as suddenly wearing masks in all shops, but not in pubs or offices, and despite the fact that “the virus”, as a serious health threat, peaked in March/April and is now ebbing away.

A serious crime in most countries, but the maximum possible sentence of 35 years reported is, to say the least, Draconian. A tenth of that might be about right, in my view, and that despite the fact that I am ideologically hostile to those idiots if they support the “Black Lives Matter” uprising.
To clarify on this story… their 'moment of madness' was entirely premeditated. When the police caught them they found another Molotov cocktail already prepared, along with the means to make more. Them being lawyers an' all, you'd think they'd be aware of the punishment. https://t.co/8NjtJV9gdc
Being a lawyer of some kind does not innoculate against radicalism or even “terrorism”. After all, Lenin himself was a lawyer by training, and had worked as one for a short while (his very nom de guerre came from a case with which he was involved, along the Lena river).
Below: the Jew-Zionist bullies of the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake “charity” now want the power (and duty) of the Crown Prosecution Service to monitor private prosecutions to be taken away, which would leave individuals open to unrestricted “lawfare” by heavily-funded Jewish para-terrorists, abusing the law (even more than at present) for political purposes
Look at the expensive RIB, with powerful outboard motor. Just abandoned, along with the lifejackets. These “refugees” are not short of money. A boat with outboard motor like that costs thousands, even secondhand.
Some idiots will not only call these migrant-invaders “refugees” but also say “what does it matter? Only 10 persons“, missing several points: there are sometimes dozens of similar landings in a single day, meaning as many as 5,000-10,000 a year and adding up to maybe 50,000-100,000 invaders.
Then there is the point that this is only part of the invasion. Trucks, boots of cars etc, plus “legally permitted” immigration of students, “family members”, persons on work visas who never go home etc. That’s without even taking into account births to non-Europeans already living in the UK. Life is hard for independent cinemas, which is a pity. They often feature the sort of films otherwise only found on DVD, video, or (rarely) late-night TV.
As for Meetings with Remarkable Men, well worth seeing:
Another cinema (once a standalone, now part of a small chain and still going) was the Curzon (now the Curzon Mayfair, and part of a small chain), in Curzon Street (London):
It screened (I expect still does screen) films not sufficiently mainstream to be released generally. It screened, on 1985 release, another excellent film, The Shooting Party: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shooting_Party
I recall seeing the cinema at the time it showed that film.
I see what they mean; I was thinking more of the interior as it was, with its delicate glass lamps (creating coloured sidelighting, like a Christmas tree in the dark).
The cinema showed Russian-language films, and I went in an attempt to improve my Russian comprehension.

Britain’s toytown police state in actual operation:
We are living in a society where the most privileged are actually fomenting events: encouraging minor uprisings, by the blacks and others, and preparing to impose a real police state to replace the “toytown” one which has been disguised as anti-“virus” measures. Don’t imagine that voting, in a completely rigged game, or tweeting, or blogging (for that matter) is going to get you anywhere, still less create a better white northern European society.
Coronavirus madness
I wonder how long it will be before the public (and, it seems, government) understand that, in the absence of cure, vaccine or removal of the conditions that spawned it (as with Yellow Fever and mosquitos), you cannot actually stop or wipe out a disease, or a virus, by means of measures such as shutting down shops, stopping people from socializing, preventing travel, making the population wear facemasks or muzzles etc. Maybe never.
The most that can be done is to delay the “wave”. In the UK, that would have involved stopping most incoming flights, quarantining the few passengers arriving, closing pubs, nightclubs and any crowded gatherings such as race meetings. Also, preventing more than a small number of people getting onto buses and Underground/Overground trains. I am talking here about what should have been done back in March or April of this year.
Instead of the above, the government of Boris-idiot closed down much of the economy, propped up much of the rest with vast amounts of borrowed money, and trashed civil rights in the process.
Now we see that this government of (sinister) clowns has insisted that the public wear (probably useless or even dangerous) facemasks to shops (though not in offices or in pubs!), and seems intent on continuing the “fear” propaganda despite the damage which it continues to do to the UK economy.
The fact is that what has happened is that “the virus” is still around, here and there, people continue to get it, most of those people have no or few symptoms (and so are only discovered via useless testing), and the few who do have serious symptoms and so need medical intervention (there is no “treatment”, amounting to “cure”, as such) are taken to hospital anyway.
This is a condition which actually affects, in any serious way, a very small part of the population, perhaps 1%, and which kills far fewer. Indeed, most of those most affected by it and in real danger of death have already been killed by the virus, often sent to their deaths by the government and NHS managers, who wanted to protect NHS staff and some patients, and so shoved the most vulnerable, including patients actually infected, to the very places where more deaths would be caused readily— care homes.
In the times of Stalin, the “experts” and ministers responsible would have been shot.
What has to happen now is that everything has to open up, the economy and society has to start functioning again, and the facemask nonsense has to be done away with. If the Government etc are unwilling to do that, they are either incompetent or malicious, or both.

Pretty horrible. So are the usually mechanized “Western” slaughterhouses, but at least “we” (our society and its people) do not take sadistic pleasure in the pain and suffering of the animals; if sadists are caught doing bad things as employees in abattoirs, they are usually both dismissed and prosecuted (albeit that the penalties are far too light).
People who are cruel to animals are untermenschen (stand up, “prince” Andrew!).
Not all Muslims —Middle Easterners, Arabs, even North Africans— are cruel to animals, and many Turks (especially) are kind to cats and other animals, but far too many Muslims generally are cruel or at least callous (often downright cruel) to our animal friends. It’s ingrained.
[an honourable exception: a Syrian who stayed behind in a ruined city in order to care for abandoned and distressed cats]
Then we have the Jews; they, like the Muslims, use a cruel form of slaughter in which the animal is not stunned before being killed. Halal slaughter by Muslims, Kosher (kashrut) slaughter by Jews. Both peoples are of course Semitic or at least partly Semitic in origin.
I suppose that one has to note that some Jews, like some Muslims, are also animal-lovers.
Both Jews and Muslims claim that their methods of slaughter are humane, or at least no less humane than those currently employed by non-Jews and non-Muslims.
The claims against Western non-Jews and non-Muslims are not entirely without force. There is too much cruelty and callousness towards animals in the “West” and even in the UK (which has, arguably, the best record of any country).
However, at least we non-Jews and non-Muslims recognize the problem and try to lessen the pain and suffering of animals. Our European and European-origined peoples are, at least in part, still evolving in terms of consciousness. The Jews, Arabs and other peoples are generally, as ethnic groups, not evolving in that way, but are at best static and at worst regressing.
The UK laws which ban cruelty to animals and which regulate the slaughter of animals should be extended to Jews and Muslims. We would not countenance most other cruelties just because some ancient religious practice mandates it, so why this? [though UK law still permits male genital mutilation, aka “circumcision”, at present, and quite wrongly]
[personal note: I am not, these days, an eater of meat. I last ate meat (red meat, lamb, pork etc) when I was 21 (63 as of now). Before that, I did eat meat, and had even eaten stuff like biltong (when in Rhodesia: antelope and beef). I did consume, though not daily, maybe weekly or monthly, chicken as well as game such as grouse and teal, until I was about 50; and especially when at places such as (and particularly) Ruleshttps://rules.co.uk/ when I lived in London or later visited the capital. I am now a “pescatarian/vegetarian” hybrid, though I do not claim any moral superiority on that basis].
Our European society must evolve beyond the cruelties and backwardness of the past, whatever it takes to achieve such a quantum leap forward.

What can stop this madness? A mass awakening? A mass uprising of British and other (so far) “rabbits”? A large-enough meteorite hitting the Earth? A third world war (most likely)? A wave of “lone wolves”?
Once again, the double-standard: for white people (you know, the people “formerly known as” British), imprisonment for singing a song (Alison Chabloz), for making a speech (Jez Turner) or, in effect, for having Swastika cushion covers and cookie-cutters (the young people recently tried in a kangaroo court for belonging to a “banned” group).
For blacks, it is very different: wear a political uniform (contra the Public Order Act 1936 et seq.), march in paramilitary formation down London streets, tear down British statues etc etc, and nothing happens. (((What))) is really behind all this? #WhiteGenocide
Government propaganda poster at London bus stop: 'LET'S GET BACK TO THE THINGS WE LOVE. LET'S GET TESTED'. Who thinks up this tripe. I personally ahve no great nostalgic longing to have a swab stuck up my nostril. Or do they mean something else. In which case, what?
The CAA goblins write (incorrectly) about Alison Chabloz’s recent appeal victory: “Ms Chabloz was then charged with having breached the conditions of her suspended sentence and was found guilty. The trial followed contact between Campaign Against Antisemitism’s lawyers and the National Probation Service. Ms Chabloz is appealing the decision, and the appeal has been delayed for logistical reasons, including owing to the pandemic.”
In fact, that had nothing at all with “the virus” or anything “logistical”, but was because the defence had demanded (and the presiding judge ordered) disclosure of documentation, so that the judge could be sure that Alison’s prosecution for breach was not the result of political pressure on David Gauke (the then-MP, expenses freeloader and, at the time, if ludicrously, “Minister of Justice”), the CPS and the —at the time— privatized probation carpetbaggers.
The CPS were unable or unwilling to comply with the above, and so decided (with much weaselling) not to offer any evidence against Alison Chabloz. She won; the CAA troublemakers lost.
(((Typical))) lies…
As for the new contrived prosecution of Alison Chabloz, she is currently on police bail, purportedly until January 2021, with conditions attached. One condition purports to bar her from posting on the Internet. Until January 2021! The toytown police state and/or poundland KGB in action…
I have not been a practising barrister for 12 years now (2008), and (thanks to “UK Lawyers for Israel”, a group largely identical with the “CAA” in Venn diagram terms) have been disbarred since October 2016. In addition, I was never really a criminal barrister (though I did quite a number of criminal cases both in Crown Court and “the mags” in the early 1990s), so I always hesitate to pronounce on the criminal law or criminal procedure. Having said that, I find this prosecution, and the police bail aspect, puzzling.
For one thing, I cannot see that anything allegedly said by Alison Chabloz (as quoted by the “CAA”) could possibly be “grossly offensive” in the first place.
It is very strange that the CPS have brought this prosecution. Does it have anything to do with the fact that the CPS and CAA have just been knocked down in relation to the recent appeal victory?
Is the prosecution properly within time limitation(s)? I wonder…
Secondly, the purported Internet ban, laid down by the police, not by any court, is surely unlawful in the circumstances. Contra human rights both in itself and in terms of its duration. Perhaps Alison Chabloz will have that removed by application to a court.
Thirdly, looking at what the “CAA” (i.e. or mainly the proven social media troll, Stephen Silverman) has published, it strikes me that, Alison Chabloz having now been charged, the CAA publication contains assertions in clear contempt of court.
It seems transparently obvious to me that the CAA has made these malicious complaints both to gag Alison via the police bail conditions, and also out of revenge for having been cheated of their prey recently. Vultures.
The company says that it is closing “because of Covid-19” though of course the shutdown (“lockdown”) is the direct and most proximate reason.
We are not told how many smaller enterprises are now failing. Probably too many to report upon.
The ludicrously-misnamed “SAGE” ivory tower types advising the clowns now in government seem to be ignoring the wider consequences of their advice and the consequent executive decisions. The economy is now all but collapsing, though some parts of it are affected, so far, worse than others.
The spiral is fast and not controlled by anyone, least of all by Boris-idiot. The result will be more long-term decline for the UK. Economic decline, falling standards in all areas, mass immigration and migration-invasion.
“Keen to avoid another national lockdown and derail the economic recovery, a ‘flexible’ strategy to target areas with high infection rates are being hammered out in Whitehall.” [Daily Mail]
Well, I am willing to presume that the Government is not really “keen to…derail the economic recovery” (what “recovery”, anyway?). I am presuming that that sentence is either a publishing error or the kind of semi-literate “journalism” which is today ubiquitous. All the same, “many a true word”…
That little pissant, Robert Jenrick, he of the several houses, wants to destroy the current planning regime for development. A bonanza for shoddy builders and (((speculators))) of various kinds. Oh, what a surprise! He is married to a Jewish woman who just happens to be a commercial property lawyer (and several of their “close friends”, he said recently, are Jewish speculators and developers). All co-incidental, no doubt…
This country needs a real national revolution now.
[Also, note that that Mail piece, written by Jemma Carr and Jonathan Bucks, presumably “journalists” (scribblers, dogsbodies), contains the words “...put developers off all together...”. Jesus H. Christ! The Mail on Sunday is scarcely a work of high literature, but “all together” for “altogether”? Also, “...put developers off“? The latter phrasing not “incorrect”, arguably, but very colloquial. Too colloquial.]
Standards in journalism have dropped through the floor in recent years.
The main problem the UK faces in terms of environment is too many people, and that oversupply has been caused by mass immigration and migration-invasion over the past decades. Much of it was driven and encouraged by Jews in the Cabinet of Tony Blair. 10 million or more in the past 20 or so years. Immigration, and also births to immigrants.
Oh, and don’t forget the 3-4 MILLION Hong Kong Chinese that Boris-idiot and his bunch of clowns have just invited to flood into the UK.
“And none dare call it treason”…
The UK is rapidly becoming a toytown police state with a mixed-race population, a collapsing economy, and a despoiled environment. Also, very little free speech…
Mainly the fault of this incredibly shambolic government (and the Spanish government which has also panicked), rather than “the virus” itself. Now the UK government is hunting for completely asymptomatic infectees! So that they can “find” completely OK people, who have few if any symptoms and will soon be clear! They are desperate to keep the panic going…
Just saw a tweet from someone who works in a supermarket and has done so throughout the “lockdown”/shutdown. Apparently 600+ people work there, in all, and not one has (knowingly) had “the virus”.
This whole thing is madness, and is being used (perhaps was even planned) for sinister purposes.
CAA snooper on YouTube
Saw a brief clip of Stephen Silverman, “Head of Investigations and Enforcement” at the malicious Zionist fake charity, “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, or “CAA”, being (obsequiously) interviewed by one Ian Collins, on a radio station to which I have never listened, called TalkRadio.
The Collins person (or should that be “doormat”) even mentioned “the terrible recent history of the Jews…I mean the 1930s…”. “Recent”?! That was 80-90 years ago! Will “they” be playing the same tune in another 90 years?
The Ian Collins person is in the wrong job. He would be better as a butler or maitre-d than as a radio interviewer. Not one even slightly challenging question. Perhaps he is unaware that Silverman and his friends were proven in open court (in 2017 and 2018) to have sadistically trolled several women on Twitter, using pseudonyms at that!
“Millions of overs 50s could be given orders to stay at home as part of Boris Johnson‘s ‘nuclear plans’ to avoid another national lockdown.” [Daily Mail]
The latest statistics show 4,000 infections per day, but well under 100 deaths per day (yesterday 74, the day before 10, I think; these figures inflated anyway) from or with “the virus”.
It seems that, at present, 1 person dies for every 80-400 persons known to be infected. Many are infected but show no symptoms, so the real figure for the death rate (even taking the deaths figure as accurate) may be 1 death per 5,000 or even 10,000 infected.
It does not surprise me that the ludicrously misnamed SAGE committee (I prefer DUMB— Department Under Matt and Boris) is worried about public disorder. Incidentally, it it their job or their business to worry about that aspect? I think not. I suppose that that is what happens when proper government and administration is replaced by dystopian nonsense from people like Dominic Cummings.
I (like the “Government”) have been surprised to see how compliant and easy to scare and corral and order about the British people have been, but there is (probably) a limit.
The idea that the clown currently posing as Prime Minister can “order” anyone over 50 to “stay home” in a form of house arrest for months, or even years, is absurd. Even leaving aside the legalities, how would that even be enforced?
We have seen how compliant the rabbits of the UK are, but such a measure would certainly be unenforceable. For one thing, there are many who, though over 50, and even over 60 (like me) do not —on a good day!— look over 50. The police cannot check everyone’s age and, in the UK, people do not have to carry any ID or age papers, legally. So will the Handmaid’s Tale militia now used by supermarkets be checking passports at the door? This is unbelievable!
I shall, if such an “order” is ever given, be “49” for the duration, just like an ageing Hollywood actress.
In any case, I doubt whether many shops would actually enforce an “under-50s only” policy, firstly because that would wipe out half their trade (and many would buy as little as possible online to punish those retailers); secondly, such a policy by shops would surely be contra “equalities” laws, though admittedly that was never my area of expertise when I was at the Bar.
The “Government” (of clowns) has painted itself into a corner. Instead of taking sensible and limited measures early, such as stopping most inward flights, shooting “refugees” (migrant-invaders) in the Channel, closing pubs, nightclubs and crowded sporting and other events for the duration or at least for a few months, and stopping the Underground, other train services and other public transport, the idiots ordered the “lockdown” (shutdown of the economy). Result? A collapsing economy and little effect on “the virus”.
The next “policy” made up on the spur of the moment has been the facemask nonsense. “Holland’s top scientists said there’s no solid evidence coverings work and warn they could even damage the fight against Covid-19” [Daily Mail, 2 August 2020]
“Kate Nicholls, of Hospitality UK, which represents pubs, restaurants and hotels, said shutting down ‘large chunks of the economy’ was a short-sighted strategy.
‘We need to be focusing on collective efforts to drive down and control infections,’ she said, adding that the hospitality industry directly employs 3.2 million, with another two million reliant through supply chains. ‘It’s simply too big to just switch off.
‘We would be talking about millions of people unemployed, a major loss of economic activity.‘” [Daily Mail]
One problem is that the people giving the ludicrous “orders” are people who have never actually run anything much, starting with part-Jew public entertainer Boris-idiot; then we have little Matt Hancock (did a year or so as a graduate teaboy at the Bank of England), Gavin Williamson (once a fireplace salesman with a pet spider), Dominic Cummings (tried to set up an airline in Russia 25 years ago; it failed after one flight); and let’s not forget the ivory tower merchants, Chris Whitty and idiotic Professor Ferguson (who said that 800,000 would die in the UK, and who broke his own rules by letting his married “ho” visit him during “lockdown”).
What a bunch of clowns! And we the people are expected to obey their confused and quite possibly unlawful decrees? Screw that.

So I'm classed as elderly now an I? Well that is odd. I've worked through lockdown, back in the classroom in a "bubble" of 15, caring for the elderly parents-in-law and my 14 year old. But Okay, if you insist. Can I have my pension from 60 then please? No? Thought not #over50s

Watch carefully the almost sinister abolition of personal liberty in Melbourne, Australia. The increasingly despotic Al Johnson may well be thinking of copying it. The greatest attacks on liberty are taking place in Anglosphere countries which previously took it for granted.
The mask is really coming off now. The “English gent” persona carefully crafted by Johnson since he was about 12 is now being replaced by the part-Jew, part-Turk charlatan playing the despot. That comes naturally to him. Johnson after all is not really English. As said, a part-Jew, part-Turk, born in New York City, brought up in the USA and Belgium until sent to Eton and Oxford to acquire the fake “English toff” persona (mask). Hard to say whether his patent inability to actually be an effective Prime Minister is an aggravating factor or a blessing in disguise.
Without going into the rights and wrongs, on the face of it this is more than a disturbing report about one particular case. It seems to show the way the police are going in the UK. Only 2 months ago, persecuted singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz had her bedroom invaded quite early in the morning by a whole crowd of (mostly non-white) police “officers”.
The “police state” in the UK may be a “toytown” one at present, usually, but it is clear where this is going.
Bars and pubs are the most likely places in which to transmit or get infected by “the virus”, so what does the government of clowns order? Pubs and bars can stay open and the customers can sit, drink, talk, shout or whatever without the requirement to wear a facemask or muzzle; but go next door to the supermarket and it’s “facemasks on or else!”. When did Britain become a country of scared unthinking rabbits ruled by clowns? I supposed that, like the Fall of the Roman Empire, it happened bit by bit, and almost unnoticed.
Imagine, a little pissant like Robert Jenrick posing as a Cabinet minister! Then again, Boris-idiot as Prime Minister…This whole situation veers between tragedy and farce.
As usual, unsurprising. A government of clowns, and an official Opposition which weakly supports (with mild carping) whatever the clowns are doing. Result? In a situation where the polled are asked which of the “main parties” (in which select group is included, ludicrously, the all-but-dead LibDem party) they support, people just say one or the other of Con or Lab, without conviction, without interest, despising both almost equally.

I do not know whether Dan Hodges ever “sold out” (as Corbyn supporters claim), because I have no idea whether he ever had any real political beliefs or principles before he started to doormat for the Jewish lobby and the Conservative Party. All that can be said is that the article above is as fine a piece of sycophantic rubbish as I have seen for many a day. In fact, the tweet accompanying it hits the spot better.

We never know what will happen in life. “Prepping” may not be as silly as many imagine…
I wonder whether many people would have imagined, say a year ago, that the UK government would shut down much of the economy, tell most people to stay at home unless shopping, and have the police going around harassing lone sunbathers on beaches, and elderly couples walking on the fells of the Peak District? Or that the entire population would be told to wear facemasks in shops etc, though not in pubs? Or on trains and buses, but not in offices?
Likewise, who would have thought, a year ago, that so-called “refugees” would be escorted across the Channel and put up in 4-star hotels (and given money on top) by the tough-talking “Conservative” government? Or that those detained ready to be deported would all be released?! Not many, I think.
How many of the over-50s, who were the ones that mainly voted “Conservative” in 2019, would have thought then that their being put under house arrest indefinitely would be a subject for serious discussion by the very government they had voted into unmerited office? Not many, I think.
TUI
So Tui is going to close down 166 travel agency shops. I suppose that that must add up to about 1,000 people losing their jobs. Tui is owned mainly by a Russian; for once a real one, not a Jew, but that has not improved his behaviour. He is supposedly worth USD $20 billion, and is the 4th-richest individual in Russia, yet in 2001, when already a billionaire, was paying only $600 a month to keep his ex-wife and their son alive…
Few in Russia would want the old Soviet system back, particularly the unfree sneaking and spying system run by the KGB (mainly the Second Chief Directorate), but the present system of oligarchy and near kleptocracy cannot last forever. Too many inequalities and, worse, too many inequities.
Of course, Tui closing its doors (only the offline ones) is not really a function of the Russian economy but solely of the UK one, meaning the mad “lockdown” shutdown.
Yes, it is slowly sinking in that we shall never be free again but can at any time be yanked back into mass house arrest and economic destruction on the basis of cooked figures. Look at Melbourne now. It will be the same in a major British city before next Spring. https://t.co/b21qhETUxl
Yes. We are all used (in theory) to the idea of the “police state”, in which the state, and/or a dictator, tyrant, despot or fanatical political party imposes rule by force and penal laws.
What is so diabolically cunning about the present situation is that the public has in effect been scammed; fear has been weaponized. Not fear of the State or the police or the law, but of “the virus”. A fairly serious public health problem has been blown up into a deadly plague by which people will be killed.
Once the population internalized that fear, the other measures, such as police control, fines, social pressure, simply reinforced the feeling of social obedience or compliance.
Worse still @martindale567 is the almost total lack of protest or even intelligent examination of the facts by those who once regarded themselves as radicals and sceptics. I am very close to despair. I see nothing but twilight ahead. https://t.co/DR88tcqBhB
Is this https://t.co/9hY3UwSVNG what we in Britain face at the hands of Kim Jong Son, who is all too plainly enjoying the despotic powers he has granted himself (and which Parliament, Opposition, judiciary and most of the media have utterly failed to challenge)?
I have had my differences with Quentin Letts but this superb, merciless sketch, on Al 'Boris' Johnson's increasing delusions of autocratic grandeur, is worth the price of buying your way through the paywall of 'The Times': https://t.co/qI1Ca64GnK
What happens when a part-Jew public entertainer poses as Prime Minister? Well, now we know:
“One official said ministers were right to act at speed, despite allegations that the gradual rise in cases could have led to smoother communications. “Given how quickly the virus can transmit, it doesn’t do to wait.”
Apart from the mixed messaging and brainless policies (the facemask nonsense, the shutting down of the economy, the cheap gimmicks— “£10 off a Wetherspoon lunch!”, “free bicycle repairs!” etc) around “the virus”, we now have a House of Lords farce as well!
It would take a brave novelist who had this as the plot of his political thriller: a part-Jew “British” maverick MP, son of a kind of careerist con-man, is born in the USA and brought up in both USA and Belgium, but nonetheless attends both Eton and Oxford and thus is able to take on the mantle of “the English gentleman”, though in exaggerated or cartoon form.
That charlatan, over the years, becomes both Mayor of London and MP. He does his best to create a pseudo-Churchillian persona, even to the extent of hamming up a hunched posture and a gruff voice on occasion.
Many are fooled by the charlatan MP. Those who are not fooled by his am-dram Churchill impressions are amused by his after-dinner speaking ability or his schoolboy plans and ideas, some of which he puts into practice as Mayor of London: a cable-car over the Thames (a failure); bendy buses that are unpopular (abandoned); water cannon that are bought but never used (abandoned, then sold for scrap); new “Routemaster”-style buses that however have no rear platforms, no openable windows, no ventilation and no air-con (all style and no substance, like the Mayor?); a bridge from Scotland to Ireland (not built so far); an artificial island in the Thames with a new huge airport on it (not built so far); another “garden” bridge over the Thames (abandoned) and so on.
The MP in that non-existent novel becomes Leader of the Conservative Party when most Conservative MPs back him, thinking that he will be an electoral asset, and when the only people able to vote, 140,000 Conservative Party members, mostly over retirement age (in a total UK population of nearly 70 million), support him.
As Prime Minister, the main character imposes a shutdown of the economy, ruins it and society for decades to come, and possibly indefinitely. He also forces the population to wear facemasks or muzzles on trains, planes, buses and in all shops, but not in pubs.
Finally, the dystopian novel ends (?) when the “Prime Minister” charlatan appoints all sorts of odd people to the House of Lords, including his own brother and the son of a Russian…former…KGB officer!
The charlatan “Prime Minister” even elevates, as a “baroness” in the House of Lords, a woman who applauded the IRA bombing at Warrington in 1993, which killed two young children. No, now that surely would be too implausible to put into a novel…
No, that proposed plot for a novel is just too far-fetched…
Isn’t it?…

That Whitty person strikes me as one of the worst enemies of the British people at the present time. He may be merely incompetent, but I begin to think that he is or may be actively malicious.
On paper, Whitty is extremely well-qualified in both medicine and economics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Whitty) and yet seems unable or unwilling to see the huge damage that the “lockdown” (shutdown) and the facemask nonsense is doing to this country’s economy and society. Or is he an “insider” in some wider global conspiracy? I note that he was or is tied up with Bill Gates and/or his Bill Gates Foundation (refer to Whitty’s Wikipedia entry).
In fact, the international conspiracy, in its various aspects, is becoming blatant, and yet the British “rabbits” are all walking about as ordered, in facemask muzzles. If ordered or socially-pressured, they would, many of them, still be out clapping like idiots at their own impoverishment and at the destruction of the future of their children and grandchildren.
See this article, which confirms that there is no, available, evidence that masks work. It seems that, mask wearing surgeons, do so, because of tradition. https://t.co/iVkcH6UkGT
Interesting. I knew that surgical masks are not exactly the same as most of those now imposed upon the shoppers of Britain, just as SAS urban-operational clothing is not ordinary black clothing but is made specifically for its likely use in dangerous situations; very tough and also flame-retardant. I certainly had no idea that surgical masks are not actually necessary at all.
I think that's very sad. But I also don't think most of the country should end up unemployed because of it. It's not just shops and pubs that close and lose staff, there's a knock-on effect. I work in insurance, redundancies/pay cuts abound. We've already shut a regional office.
Well, exactly @janinethechef The hatred of freedom, of a free press, of free debate and even of criticism of authority is spreading in our once-free country. Amusing to compare this with the USSR when I lived there in early 1990s. Everyone longed for the freedoms we now despise. https://t.co/caO3Jr35h2
To think I used to want to be in the House of Lords. The list of new peers today (with a few honourable exceptions) must be the worst since the days of Harold Wilson.
Harold Wilson, as PM, certainly appointed or elevated a pack of treasonous Jews as members of the House of Lords; some corrupt types as well. I doubt though, whether he would ever have made “peers” out of the son of a [former] KGB officer, out of pro-IRA women etc. What do the idiots who troop out and vote “Conservative” think of that? Does the news make them think, for once? Just once? Probably not.
You often read of, say, the days of Stalin, and about how the most extraordinary and Kafka-esque social conditions were induced by various methods of State and social pressure. “Couldn’t ever happen here!“, English people used to say. Well, they were wrong; and it will get worse.
True, no-one has been shot yet, but people are already being imprisoned or otherwise penalized for making a public speech (Jez Turner), singing songs mocking “holocaust” fakes and hoaxers (Alison Chabloz), or for putting up stickers in Cardiff (name unknown to me, but whoever he was, he got two and a half years! For putting a few stickers on lamp-posts!).
The above tweet shows other aspects of the same madness. The knee-bending plods would be yet another aspect of that same or an allied madness.
Indeed @julianknoczak, but I think the muzzle zealots are mainly politicians and their media handmaidens and valets, who know little of the issue and (like all people with weak cases) get angry when challenged. https://t.co/VTBlokGJqJ
It is now all too evident that civil unrest on a mass scale is the only thing that will make the Johnson regime stop destroying our society, economy & health at the behest of the #WHO and the other elite criminals exploiting this fake pandemic#Resistancehttps://t.co/JRHvesUc3X
“JANET STREET-PORTER: When did the policy of ‘flattening the curve’ so the NHS would not be overwhelmed turn into ruining our lives and wrecking the economy so nobody catches Covid, ever?“
“At the start of the pandemic, we willingly agreed to a strict lockdown to ‘flatten the curve’ to contain the virus and reduce stop the NHS being overwhelmed at any one point in time until either the disease burned itself out or we found a cure or a vaccine. I can still see the chart they showed us.
The effect on the economy was catastrophic, but the infection rate dropped, the NHS coped brilliantly, the Nightingale hospitals were eventually mothballed and then we were told it was safe to go back to work.
From the moment pubs and factories were allowed to re-open, the infection rate was always going to rise.
Somehow our ambition has morphed from from ‘containing’ the virus to ‘eliminating’ it.
This talk of a ‘second wave’ is nonsense. Many experts say that the virus is just one wave of infection that rises and falls, like other viruses.
Sweden, which has never locked down, is now seeing its daily cases number drop like a stone.
We simply won’t be able to eliminate Covid and have lives and a functioning economy so we’d better learn to live with it. Right now the economy is in tatters and the public still feel anxious and cautious.
Millions more will be laid off as consumption slumps and Brexit remains in chaos without trade deals to protect business. The high street is going bust, and thousands of office buildings will remain empty.” [Daily Mail]
Probably the first time that I have agreed with Janet Street-Porter.
One of the many absurd aspects of present Government policy, if its wild swings of “advice”, “law” and executive action can be dignified by the term “policy”, is that measures are being taken to quarantine arrivals from Spain, Luxembourg etc at a time when the UK is now as much, and probably more, “infected” than those other states (which, incidentally, and like the UK, also had strict “lockdowns”).

and Little Matt Hancock has placed large areas of the North of England into prison “lockdown” not because large numbers of (or any) people are dying, nor even because the “rise in cases” means anything much (because most “cases” are mild or very mild, require no intervention etc), but simply to punish the resident population for ignoring the Kafka-esque “advice” given by the bunch of clowns in Downing Street.
My foray to Waitrose today
Went to Waitrose early to avoid heat and excessive numbers of shoppers. Sadly, every (mostly elderly/retired) person in the nearby little town had the same idea, it seemed.
Almost every rabbit there was wearing a facemask or muzzle before even entering the store! Quite a number of shoppers this morning. Britain may be unable to elect politicians who are not clowns, it may not be able to secure its borders or organize most things effectively, but boy! can we form queues!
One incident amused me. An old bird, wrinkled and suntanned (maybe an avid gardener) carefully standing 10 feet back as I trundled my shopping trolley towards the queue; then the same person gets in line and, without mask, starts talking at a distance of about 2 feet with the woman next to her!
On the drive back from Waitrose, a sight perhaps characteristic of Britain’s present madness: a semi-rural bus-stop, with a wooden bench there. On the bench, a young woman, next to her a baby in a push-chair, and the young woman, totally alone except for the baby, was wearing a facemask!
Incidentally, if anyone wonders why I did not offer the young woman a lift, I was not going far and would be turning off the main road, so would have not been able to take her far. Also, it would have been a waste of time: 20+ years of experience of occasionally offering lifts to people seen waiting or walking in more rural areas is that, as with “Coronavirus”, women (of any age) are scared out of their skins by what they have read of abductors, “serial killers” etc.
It’s funny. Many will say that “the young” are the ones most compliant with the “rules” (not law) and “laws” (possibly invalid) around “lockdown” (shutdown) and facemasks. I am not so sure.
In my area of coastal and near-coastal Hampshire, the population is largely composed of persons over 65 (though officially less than half, apparently; maybe Waitrose attracts a generally older crowd). I dare say that persons over 50 comprise almost the entire population of the area.
Whatever the statistics say about the above, my firm impression is that it is the older-age population, persons in their 70s, 80s, who are likely to wear facemasks even outside and even when alone (why?), and who are the most compliant with the lining up 6+ feet apart etc. Again, why? If they “need” shopping and are afraid of “the virus”, they could always order whatever they want online, after all.
“Boris Johnson’s call for police to enforce the mandatory wearing of masks in indoor areas was today branded ‘bonkers’ by officers.
He said: ‘They want us to enforce the new rules in these other places now, but next door there might be a pub or a restaurant where people don’t have to wear a mask.
Well, I agree, but people surely knew what kind of dishonest and incompetent clown Boris-idiot was and is before he was “elected” (albeit by a totally corrupt half-mad political system).
At least I myself am not likely to have to talk to the (traffic) police any time soon, my old car having, by some miracle, passed its MOT test yesterday (once half a dozen faults, some deemed “dangerous”, had been rectified).
Fascinating, like WHO’s change from anti muzzle to pro on * political grounds, as discovered by @debcohen of the BBC, and the quiet disappearance of web articles casting doubt on efficacy of masks. Very strange. https://t.co/IRxO74665I

If you want to know why I value British liberty so highly, and am so reluctant to surrender it, read my reports from less fortunate countries in my book 'Short Breaks in Mordor' rejected by all publishers but actually selling quite well https://t.co/jTbCt2D9dXpic.twitter.com/Wz6ELpzrvs
Of course, the Jews control mainstream publishing in USA, UK, in fact most of the “West” generally. I recall seeing a feature in, I think, the Daily Telegraph magazine, when it was worth reading, around 1973 or so (published on Fridays then), which feature was all about the cabal of Jewish leading figures of the publishing world as it was in London at the time.
That feature did not actually use the word “Jew”, but some other word in substitutium; maybe “North London”. Even back then, the Jewish lobby later made a fuss about that group of about 10 publishers having been identified, even impliedly, as Jewish.
I recall the name of only one of the Jews featured in that piece: Tom Maschler, who is described in his Wikipedia entry as “a British publisher” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Maschler
