Boris-idiot is a gravity-defier, in both senses. Entirely unfit for any public office, yet there he sits, doing whatever he likes, whatever is expedient, whatever the Jewish lobby and/or his donors, and the ludicrously-misnamed SAGE committee (aka DUMB— “Department Under Matt and Boris”), want or “advise” him to do.

What if you don’t like “Boris” and his government? Well, then, this being a “democracy”, you can wait a few years and then vote for an ostensibly different party, which however will really be rather similar, except for some of the personnel.

I blogged about the question of what democracy is a couple of years ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/15/has-parliamentary-democracy-as-we-have-known-it-until-now-had-its-day-in-the-uk/.

I had one of those typical “lockdown”/”virus” experiences the other day.

I usually get fuel for car from an automatic pump quite a few miles away, so that I need not comply with the facemask nonsense, but I happened to be running low on fuel, so went to a nearer place, in fact the only nearer place.

Having put some fuel in the car, I went to the shop/kiosk to pay. I even donned a disposable facemask in order not to have to explain myself. Not enough! Having entered the shop, and as I was standing a few feet behind another customer, the cashier called to me and indicated that I should make a clockwise circuit of the island of shelves selling various goods, in order not to stand behind the customer already paying.

I noticed that little yellow circles with arrows had been applied to the floor. I had not noticed them on previous visits, and no-one had required me to make that little circuit, perhaps because I have usually been the only person waiting to pay in the shop.

Anyway, I made the circuit required, only to end up about…3 feet to the side of the customer paying! Apparently that was OK…

I recount this admittedly trivial experience as an example of how much of the population has thrown away all common sense since the virus “panicdemic” started in early 2020.

Isabel Oakeshott sells her civil rights cheaply! Why should she have to prove that she has been vaccinated, when firstly the virus is only fatal to one out of every 1,000 of the population and when, secondly, the vaccines are no guarantee of protection anyway?

Is the British population waking up yet? I doubt it. Sleeping. All but comatose. Vegetable-like.

What will it take to awaken the British people to the fact that “the virus” is nothing more than a reason, an excuse, and a facilitator, for a socio-political agenda?

When I was on Twitter, a large number of journalists and other “media folk”, as well as MPs, blocked me; with most of them I had had no direct contact. They simply did not want to even have to see, even inadvertently, any views that challenged their crippled world-view. Most of course, are dependent on the Jewish Zionist element for their large salaries and other monies. They are basically well-padded serfs.

Labour Party

The latest opinion polling:

Labour continues to bump along almost at the bottom of major-party credibility. As I have blogged often previously, Labour’s problem was not Corbyn, as such; neither is it Jewish-lobby puppet Starmer, as such. It stems more from Labour’s disappearing traditional base, and from Labour’s now almost invisible identity.

The opinion poll above does not show Conservative Party popularity so much as Labour Party unpopularity, of course. The point is, for what does Labour stand? Anything? As many have said, half-joking, it seems to be something akin to “workhouses are good, but we say let’s run them efficiently, and more fairly”. I do not think that that will attract many voters.

Of course, there are still pockets of die-hard Labour right-or-wrong support around. The sort of old-style Northern English tribalism that can be seen on TV in the Daily Mirror journalist Kevin Maguire (who in fact lives in some comfort in London).

That kind of ping-pong, cuckoo clock Con-Lab-Con-Lab politics is so out of date now. Especially when the policies of the supposed political rivals are almost identical.

In July, there will be held the Batley and Spen by-election. Labour is putting up the sister of the assassinated MP, Jo Cox, which MP has been all but canonized by the msm since her death in 2016.

I shall blog about the by-election when all runners and riders are in the frame, but what occurs to me at this stage is how desperate Labour must be to select as candidate someone purely because her sister was assassinated. Labour obviously hopes for some kind of sympathy vote, or “solidarity” vote. I doubt that it will work, but we shall have to see. Labour really has no other card to play.

Reality v. semblance

I have blogged about aspects of allied nonsense of that sort in the past: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/11/15/when-reality-becomes-subjective/

“Lockdown” and facemask nonsense

Nearly a third of all prosecutions brought under Covid-19 laws in the first year of the pandemic were incorrectly charged, a review has found…Police forces around the UK were handed powers by the government last March to enforce the ‘stay at home’ message and break up large gatherings of people…Officers were also empowered to prosecute people for breaking lockdown, not wearing masks on public transport, throwing house parties, and meeting in the street in groups.

However a Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) review of court cases which had been concluded by March 31 this year found that 549 out of 1,821 had been incorrectly charged…Every one of the 270 prosecutions brought under the Coronavirus Act 2020 – which granted powers to direct infectious people into quarantine – had either been abandoned or convictions overturned.

The review also found that the wrong offences contained in a myriad of versions of the Health Protection regulations had been deployed by police officers.

The problems with the use of coronavirus offences were first identified last April, just days into the pandemic, when journalists noticed that a woman had been wrongly prosecuted and convicted under the Coronavirus Act in Newcastle.

The review found the Health Protection regulations had also been misapplied by police, using out-of-date rules and making mistakes such as deploying an offence specific to Wales for a London prosecution.

The review found that 1,272 of the 1,551 Health Protection regulation cases had been correctly charged, with some prosecutions abandoned due to insufficient evidence.

More than 1,000 Covid-19 cases have been brought to courts through the Single Justice Procedure, which allows a magistrate to deal with the case administratively instead of at an open court hearing.

Those cases are not reviewed at court by a prosecutor, and are instead processed by police forces.” [Evening Standard].

So once again the police failed to know, understand, and properly apply laws and regulations and, in this case, conflating these with (supposed) “rules”, and with cretinous “advice” given out by politicians and their ridiculous advisers.

I have not had the vaccine(s), and have no intention of having any. Not necessarily because of any sinister aspects attaching to the vaccine(s); those claims may or may not be accurate. The fact is that the vaccines probably ward off the dreaded virus only somewhat anyway, as the virus mutates.

In any case, in the part of southern coastal England where I live, only 8 persons have died in the past month “within 28 days of a positive test”. Most of the 8, if not all, will have died from other causes (even car crashes!); it is very doubtful whether even 1 died “from” or even “with” Covid-19. That is in an area of 291 square miles, with a population of 180,000.

In other words, in the past month, in my part of England, 1 person has died “within 28 days of a positive test” (n.b. not “of” or even “with” Covid-19) out of every 22,500 inhabitants.

The whole “panicdemic” thing has become absolutely ridiculous in the UK, not least the facemask nonsense.

Meanwhile, people’s lives and health are trashed.

The slow collapse of Ulster Unionism. Ironic. The Official IRA, and then the Provos, tried to storm into the future with their Armalite and other weapons, only to be defeated, tactically, in the field, but all the time, the Irish Republican community’s women, pushing out more babies on average than those of their Loyalist counterparts, were shifting the boundaries strategically, as the general Republican community’s numbers increased vis a vis those of the Loyalist community. Looks as though the tipping point is near.

There we have it— the Westminster Bubble. John Rentoul just cannot see that the BBC has, in the colloquial, “blown it” with the bulk of the British public, just as has the Labour Party. The BBC was both generally trusted and generally at least not disliked, but that was 20-30 years ago, Mr. Rentoul…

Unusually, John Rentoul beat me in this week’s quiz, scoring 7/10; I scored only 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 3, 4, 5, and 9.

A reminder of mortality

I happened upon a notice from a well-known London criminal law set: https://www.farringdon-law.co.uk/news/farewell-to-our-true-gentleman-franco-tizzano. I then saw a Twitter announcement dated a few months ago to the same effect:

I was once slightly acquainted with the deceased. I had a few short conversations with him when we were both law degree and Bar Finals students (in the then terminology). I also encountered him a couple of times when I returned from the USA in 1993 and was doing my “second six” months of pupillage, when the fledgling barrister can earn a little money by appearing in court.

I recall that we happened to meet at Thames Mags not long after I had shaken the dust of New Jersey and New York off my shoes. I was doing the first appearance of a Jamaican accused of smuggling cocaine dissolved in rum.

Thames Magistrates Court, Tower Hamlets, London
[the not very beautiful Thames Magistrates’ Court, East London]

Tizzano was some years younger than me but was ahead of me at the Bar, I having spent a few years or part-years in the USA.

I recall that, on first meeting in 1984, Tizzano had explained that he came from Naples but that (if memory serves) he had been at an English boarding school. I understand that his father was a judge in Naples.

I remember that I remarked that “Naples is the warm heart of the world“, according to Shelley, to which Tizzano retorted, “was he mad?“!

Tizzano was a rather serious young man, in the grave Italian way. Someone with a certain dignified presence. Jet-black hair and a black moustache. I see that, in later life, that was complemented by a beard.

I understand that he had a busy criminal practice in later years: I would sometimes see his name in newspaper crime reports, though I think that the last time I saw Tizzano in person was in 1993 or 1994.

A reminder that we are all on Earth for a limited time, and must do what we can while we are here.

Talk about adding insult to injury! James Cleverly, proud possessor of a degree in “Hospitality Management” from the University of West London.

Martin Bashir

What is not generally known about Bashir is that, in 2018, he stalked persecuted singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz. That was around the time that Alison Chabloz was convicted of posting her songs online, after a lengthy and very morally-dubious campaign (both overt and covert) by Jewish Zionists of the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”.

Bashir stalked both Alison and her aged parents, with whom she was staying at the time. Bashir travelled to the small village, in the Peak District of Derbyshire, where they lived, and after failing to be granted an interview with anyone, hung around the village and the house itself. He was seen trying to hide in the garden of the house, standing in flower beds etc. He even peered through firmly-closed windows.

Bashir is not the only very sleazy person to have effectively headed the BBC’s virtually God-free religious output. There have been some very dubious characters in the past too.

Bashir followed the now-usual BBC “religious” agenda: sanctify Jewish things, normalize Muslim things, ignore or twist anything Christian.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Bashir

As for Alison Chabloz, at time and date of writing she is still in prison (having been sentenced on 31 March 2021) for having made some more or less true remarks about Jews on an internet “radio” broadcast. If not released earlier, she will be released next week, having by then served about 8 weeks (half of her 18-week sentence minus 4 days).

Hitchens overrates his influence (and the extent to which his opposition to the “panicdemic” was tainted by association). The anti-lockdown and anti-shutdown side lost the argument with the public not because “lizardist” and other people also opposed the shutdown, and not because the opponents of “lockdown” were mistaken, but because the bulk of the British people have become spineless serfs of the “woke” police state. That applies even more to the retirement-age Middle Englanders than it does to the young and middle-aged.

The “lockdown” shutdown has also been promoted by massive propaganda campaigns, utilizing whipped-up and unnecessary fear as a driver.

Then there is the fact of the huge amount of public money thrown at the “furloughed” employees and also some businesses. Hush money?

The fact is that only 1 in a thousand UK residents has been killed (even on doubtful statistics) by the Covid-19 virus. Yet the campaign continues. In the rural, semi-rural and semi-suburban part of Southern England where I live, there are over 180,000 inhabitants (in a rather large and dispersed population and area). In the past month, there have been 8 deaths of people who have been tested and confirmed as having this virus, and who died within 28 days of testing (even if later killed in road accidents).

Still, even on the face of the absurd statistics, look at the proportion! Only 8 out of 180,000+…

About 1 out of every 22,500 local residents.

The facemask nonsense also continues, with a push now to continue it indefinitely, despite the fact that the medical effect is minimal. There again, the real reason the System wants facemasks has nothing to do with any virus.

Worth reading. “As David Rennie, Peking bureau chief of The Economist, recently observed: ‘It’s very hard to know where Covid containment starts and a Communist police state with an obsession with control kicks in.‘” [Daily Mail]

“There are some things that Prof Michie – whose first husband was Andrew Murray, once a key adviser to former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn – is rather less inclined to discuss, including money. Perhaps because she has so much of it. Indeed, she is the blue-blooded descendant of an earl who, along with her brother, sold a family heirloom – a Picasso painting called L’Enfant Au Pigeon – to Qatari royals for £50 million in 2013.” [Daily Mail].

Also worth reading, though its conclusions are very weak: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-9508075/SARAH-SANDS-Post-Office-Royals-pillars-crumbling.html.

There has been a “march through the institutions” of the UK, starting sometime around the 1970s. The university-educated would-be radicals of the 1970s realized that they could be both careerist and subversive. They became civil servants in both local and central government, politically active in the Labour Party (mainly), editors and producers in the BBC and other msm outlets etc. The law too; examples there include Tony and Cherie Blair, Harriet Harman, and many others.

In time, those “cultural subversives” became MPs, members of the House of Lords, heads of trade unions, lawyers involved in the governance of their professions, well-known journalists and columnists, commissioners of TV series, or embedded in the public relations, advertising, and other “comms” industries. They took over the Labour Party and removed most of the “socialism” while emphasizing racial and sexual politics; they influenced the Conservative Party too, removing most of the “national” (patriotic), or post-1945 “one-nation-Conservatism” aspects .

Though most of those types were not Jewish, the Jewish influence, both in cultural terms and direct terms (actual individuals) was (and is) very obvious, and is connected with the Jewish infiltration of Oxford and Cambridge universities throughout the 20th Century, and particularly since the mid-1950s.

This political-cultural convergence in the System political parties is far more important than the differences between them, which are now very few anyway.

The UK’s institutions are now rotten, embedded with termites. The BBC, the Bar, the other legal professions, in fact all accepted professions. The police are even worse. Local and central government too. Judging, as far as one can from their released data, SIS and MI5 as well. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office fell some time ago.

Patriotic Alternative

It has been reported that, in a typical example of 2021 UK (ZOG) state repression, police have raided the home of leading Patriotic Alternative couple Sam Melia and Laura Towler, and have seized their computers and mobile telephones. At least one of the married couple was held for 5 hours: http://www.heritageanddestiny.com/police-state-cracks-down-on-patriotic-alternative/

I have been saying that for 20 years or more. The British people, most of them, shrugged their shoulders as migration-invasion continued, as even modest houses were priced out of their reach, as university degrees were rendered almost valueless, as the Jewish takeover of the msm, law, and politics reached ever further into our lives, and as freedom was correspondingly diminished; but if “England” (nominally) can win a rugby game, a cricket series, or a few gold Olympic medals on the other side of the world, then “hurrah!”…

Pathetic, and it is hard to know what, short of some total collapse followed by desperate struggle, can change such complacency. Britain now is far more decadent than the Weimar Republic ever was.

Even those who often express opinions about the 1930s frequently get their facts wrong. In the 1930s, Germany itself never enforced such a measure. The yellow stars or badges identifying Jews were not generally introduced throughout the German Reich (in fact, some areas never had them) until 1941, though a few local areas in Poland introduced badges (either yellow or blue-and-white) in late 1939: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_badge; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_badge#Axis_Powers.

I had a look at the replies to Baddiel’s tweet. Mostly along the lines of “hello, famous person, I stand with you even though I am not Jewish” etc… I only read a few dozen, but could not see one that made my above point. Interesting though. Quite a few wanted the woman in the photo to be identified, tracked down, and punished in some way (by the Twit-mob?). Sign of the times? None that I saw supported her right to make her point her way… Still, that is Twitter: very unrepresentative of the British people.

You may say that it does not matter whether yellow stars for Jews were introduced in Germany in the 1930s, or in Eastern Europe in or from 1941. Well, if facts do not matter to you, don’t express dogmatic views about historical events.

One tweet made me laugh: some silly woman from North America, who, while “not 100% sure” (!), tweeted that the woman in the photo was Alison Chabloz! Ha ha! Alison has at least a cast-iron defence (alibi) to that charge, as she is still sitting in Bronzefield Prison, near Heathrow, until Wednesday (at least).

That Wendling person is a sinister bod…and seems to need new glasses (see aerial photo, below):

Somewhere around 50,000-100,000 in that view alone.

The BBC is even less truthful now than Soviet TV was…

The Keys of the Kingdom

Saw a fine old film called The Keys of the Kingdom [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Keys_of_the_Kingdom_(film)]. Based on a book by the arguably now-almost-forgotten A.J. Cronin [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._J._Cronin], one of those writers who, while bestselling authors in their day, are later rather neglected. I suppose that Edgar Wallace was another example; he sold 50 million copies of his many works: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgar_Wallace.

Watching The Keys of the Kingdom, it again occurred to me how many deeply Christian films were made by Hollywood in its days of greatness, despite the fact that all or almost all studios were owned by Jews. Ben Hur would be just one other example, others yet being Quo Vadis, The Robe, etc.

Today, it is different. Film studios are now usually not only owned by Jews, but the films often directed by Jews, and those films tend to be bitterly Zionist (often promoting the “holocaust” narrative) and/or serving a materialist agenda. Spielberg is only one example.

Wonderful. A stand taken against the “control” agenda.

As far as the facemask nonsense is concerned, the fear engendered by the System propaganda of a year ago is only a veneer now. Few really believe that everyone is at risk of death. They know (or have guessed something similar) that only 1 in 4,000 people in the world has been killed by “Covid-19”, and that even in swamped (by immigrants and tourists) Britain, only 1 in about every 1,000 people has died from “the virus” (or, more accurately, “within 28 days of a positive test”, though in reality from other conditions).

No doubt the propagandists will try to enforce continued facemask muzzling, but the people are already giving up, despite the dictatorial and possibly invalid “laws”, “rules” etc. The social pressure is less now, as well. I filled up the car with fuel a few days ago and genuinely forgot to put on a disposable mask as I went to pay at the kiosk. A woman exited, also maskless, and the cashier, likewise maskless, did not ask me to put on any mask; in fact, the matter was not mentioned, and she even smiled, a fact I attribute either to her sunny personality or to my charming manner…

Boris-Idiot

I see that my blog post of July 2019, assessing the then new Boris Johnson Cabinet, has been receiving many hits: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/07/25/the-boris-johnson-cabinet/.

Dominic Cummings

I see that Dominic Cummings has turned against Boris-idiot…https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/apr/23/dominic-cummings-launches-attack-on-boris-johnson

I blogged about Cummings several times over the past two years: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2020/01/03/dominic-cummings-a-government-of-dystopia-and-lunacy-posing-as-genius/; https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/08/10/les-eminences-grises-of-dystopia/ etc.

In what were “normal” times, this present government of clowns could and would not exist, certainly not for long, but we have a situation in which there is no legitimate government, yet also no legitimate nor effective official Opposition or opposition party. The former Labour leader, Corbyn, who was weak, and was a bit of a joke, but at was least anti-Zionist (up to a point), was replaced by the Jew-lobby puppet, Keir Starmer, whose idea seems to be to say, all the time, to the Government “we support 90% of what you do, but you should be doing it better…oh and doing it on bended knee, and wearing a facemask“!

I should not be surprised if Labour under Starmer were to start to do worse in elections even than under Corbyn and Miliband.

In Scotland, looks as though Scottish Labour (led now by a Pakistani) has pretty much given up (see tweet below):

Psychological tests sometimes surprise

In yesterday’s blog, I mentioned that I had once again tried out the “Political Compass” test, only to find that I was somewhere around where I was a year or two ago (previous tests):

personalised chart

Of course, labels (particularly the outdated “Left/Right” ones) can only take one so far without distortion of reality.

Doing that test reminded me of some others that I did: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/01/14/diary-blog-14-january-2021/. One was “which political villain are you most like?”

Ignoring the judgmentalism, quite interesting:

Interesting because I would not have said that I am much like Adolf Hitler in terms of outward personality. I can see, though, that there are shared traits.

Seems that Hitler was slightly more “brooding” and slightly less “carefree” than me. Perhaps unsurprising: I do not have hundreds of Red Army divisions advancing across the Pomeranian Plain at me.

Anyone wanting to try the same tests, including the one immediately above, can find the links on the blog here: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2021/01/14/diary-blog-14-january-2021/. The link to Political Compass is here: https://www.politicalcompass.org/test

Alison Chabloz

Latest reports from usually-reliable sources say that Alison Chabloz, the persecuted satirist, singer-songwriter and commentator, is now likely to be released from prison early, on electronic tag, on 28 April 2021 (next Wednesday), the same day on which she is due to face the latest charge or charges instigated by the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake “charity”. That court appearance will be, I think, either the taking of a plea or, perhaps, a hearing as to mode of trial (the new charge or charges, which I think are under Public Order Act 1986, are such as can be tried either at Crown Court or in the Magistrates’ Court).

There is also the point that, as I realized early on, the new charge(s) are such as can only be preferred if the Attorney-General consents. It came to light on last appearance that (incredibly) the Crown Prosecution Service is now so shambolic that either its lawyers were unaware of that necessity (i.e. were deficient in their knowledge of the law) or negligently failed to apply for the required consent.

There is at least the possibility that the consent of the A-G will not be given. If so, the case will not proceed.

In the meantime, Alison will remain at Bronzefield Prison, Ashford (close to Heathrow). She has, it seems, received literally hundreds of cards and letters, much of the correspondence received being in the nature of fan mail from all over the world. She has also received a few books, and (I believe) small donations of money into her prison account (yesterday’s blog post contains links to the government site whereby small donations can be sent using your debit card).

Alison is reportedly in good spirits, and something of a celebrity in the prison, where she has (in the past days of greater freedom) been entertaining the other prisoners with some of her now well-known songs. The other prisoners have even been singing along with her, apparently.

If Alison is released as expected next week, she will have served exactly 4 weeks in prison since sentence on 31 March 2021. For that, the malicious “CAA” Jew-Zionist “charity” (Israel-lobby pressure group and cabal) has put out (as recently admitted in the Jewish “community” Press) FIVE YEARS of plotting, faked complaints, offline persecution, suborning and/or nagging of MPs, “elected” drones of other sorts, police etc.

A huge amount of public money has been wasted at the behest of those CAA swine; legal fees on both sides, police and CPS time, judicial time, prison costs, and so on. All so that the CAA can say, in both the msm and the directly-Jewish Press, “we got antisemite Chabloz convicted and imprisoned”.

A Pyrrhic victory for “the lobby”, I suspect.

As to Alison’s appeal against conviction and sentence, it is set down for the two days of 3-4 June 2021, probably at Southwark Crown Court, and will consist of a complete rehearing of the matter.

Despite the uselessness of facemasks in preventing virus spread. The human world scarcely deserves to survive.

When working for a large organization in Kazakhstan in 1997, I emailed a colleague in the USA to complain (politely) about her use of “Lviv” for “Lvov” (a city in the far west of Ukraine, and the most Ukrainian-nationalist part of that country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lviv), only for that American lady to whine that she had already had to field dozens of similar complaints from colleagues all over the world! It’s KIEV and LVOV (in the UK), not Kyiv and Lviv!

I shall of course continue to call Peking, Peking, and Bombay, Bombay. Ditto re. Calcutta, Madras, and other places. Screw anyone who dislikes it.

Britain continues to fall apart, though it is largely a decline which is happening quietly, like someone suffocating in a locked and shuttered room, with no-one listening or seeing the fact. Railways empty, and subsidized to run largely empty. Potholed roads. Hospitals largely empty. NHS operating on a skeleton basis for outpatients. Tradesmen trying to make a living where they can. Shops and pubs almost or actually empty, and often closed. Law courts with huge backlogs of cases.

The Rishi Sunak “free money” giveaway has disguised the decline, but it is there all right.

Local government elections farce

Needless to say, I shall be abstaining from voting. For one thing, where I live, there is only a LibLabCon, and maybe Green, choice. Anyway, even if some pathetic joke “nationalist” party such as “For Britain” or the like were to stand, I would not want to validate it.

I have so far only seen one leaflet put through my door, possibly because security makes approach difficult, but probably because the Conservative Party (who always win all local seats and most County Council seats). and Labour (who win almost no seats even at County level: 1 out of 78 at present) have no members able or willing to push leaflets out these days.

The sole leaflet seen was by the LibDems, and was in the form of a “newspaper”, folded, with a front and back page. 4 “pages” in all. What made me laugh is that their only policy that I support (protection of local libraries) was headlined with something like “PROTECT LOCAL LIBRAY SERVICES AND EDUCATION!”…and spelled like that! “Libray” for “Library”! Seems that their County Council candidate needs some education himself! Well, actually, he did look like a schoolboy anyway. About 18 and three-quarters (I think that he is about 30-ish in reality).

LibDems LibDems go away, come again some other day (or not).

Diary Blog, 17 April 2021, including latest thoughts about the Alison Chabloz situation

Alison Chabloz

Readers of this blog may be interested to know where persecuted satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz stands now in terms of her appeal against her recent conviction and sentence.

After yesterday’s failure of her application for bail pending appeal, Alison remains incarcerated at Bronzefield Prison near Heathrow Airport.

In previous blog posts about Alison’s predicament, I have written (correctly) that, taking account of the usual 50% discount on sentences, as well as time taken off for days spent in police custody, at trial etc, and also the 4 days taken off for time served prior to Alison’s successful previous appeal (in 2020), she might expect release in any case by the end of May.

The above calculations, though correct in themselves, left out the effect of the now-ubiquitous “early release on tag” programme, via which prisoners are now commonly released at even earlier stages and monitored by electronic tags usually attached to the leg above the ankle.

Usually-reliable sources inform me that Alison Chabloz is likely (though that is not absolutely definite) to be released “on tag” by about 26 April 2021, so (if that is so) only about 9 days from now.

After release, whether “on tag” or otherwise, Alison will be monitored until the end of the period of the original full 18-week sentence handed down on 31 March 2021, i.e. until early August 2021; during that period, Alison can be recalled to prison, contingent on various circumstances. If that were to happen, she would probably remain incarcerated until August.

Alison Chabloz is continuing with her appeal, however. It might be thought, from a purely individual point of view, that Alison’s appeal has little point, in view of the fact that she may soon be released anyway. However such observation leaves out consideration of various facts.

Firstly, Alison will no doubt want to make her point that what she said in podcasts about the Jew-Zionist etc was not “grossly offensive” anyway. Secondly, she may wish to have quashed her second “criminal” (political-criminal) conviction. Third, she may wish to head off (if possible) any upcoming nuisance.

At the bail application yesterday, held at Southwark Crown Court, H.H. Judge Tomlinson, presiding, said that that “she received nothing like the maximum...”, which was arguably true, inasmuch as the maximum is 6 months, i.e. 26 weeks. Still, what sort of society imprisons socio-political satirists and commentators at all?

An appeal from the Magistrates’ Court to Crown Court consists of a complete rehearing, in effect a duplicate trial.

If, at the appeal hearing, Alison Chabloz succeeds, and the appeal is upheld, then fine. The conviction will be quashed, and the sentence will fall. Quaestio cadet.

If, on the other hand, Alison’s appeal fails, then the Crown Court has the power to substitute a different sentence, whether longer or shorter. If shorter than the one passed by the Magistrates’ Court, then she would probably be released immediately; if longer, then the length of her actual imprisonment will, unsurprisingly, depend on the length of the term passed. The Crown Court can only sentence, at such an appeal, up to the maximum that was available to the lower court, i.e. (in this case) 6 months.

If Alison’s appeal fails, and if she then is sentenced to the maximum available (which is unlikely, in my opinion), then she will still be out before too long: 6 months, minus the usual 50% discount, is 3 months. That must be taken minus the 1 month already served (assuming that Alison is released before May). It must also be taken minus the ~2 weeks of other custody, time at trial etc in both 2021 and 2020. That would leave about 6 weeks to be served.

In other words, even if Alison’s appeal fails, and even if she then is sentenced to the maximum 6 months, she would in fact serve only a further 6 weeks (and might even be released “on tag” before that).

When an appeal from Magistrates’ Court to Crown Court fails, not uncommonly the Crown Court does not interfere with the length of the original sentence. If that were to happen in this case, Alison would have about another 3 weeks to serve, but might in fact be released “on tag” almost at once.

Alison Chabloz may be in somewhat difficult circumstances now, but the end is in sight.

For someone in prison, even serving a short sentence, letters, cards and books are welcome reminders of the outside world, of friendship and Kameradschaft:

It seems almost cruel to write that I beat John Rentoul yet again, this week scoring 5/10 compared to his shockingly bad 1/10, but as always I give Rentoul full marks for honesty. In fact I nearly scored 7/10, but just could not bring to mind the answers (which I basically knew) to questions 4 and 6; I had no clue about questions 3, 5, and 10.

Strange woman

A strange-seeming woman, looking in her Twitter profile like Boris Johnson in drag, mentions me when replying to a barrister presently being attacked:

Tweeter “Testy Tracy” should read my own account, not the twistedly-false version put out by the Bar Standards Board and the Jewish-Zionist lobby: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.

I might add that that barrister’s reply (not shown above because I seem to have technical problems today in copying and pasting tweets) misspelled “cite” as “site”, but I suppose that anyone can make a typo…

Not sure why I am wasting my time, perhaps because “Testy Tracy” is so typical of many UK Twitter users (ignorant, judgmental, yet probably considering herself both educated and intelligent because she attended a “university” —see below—. She seems to lack any understanding of issues), but anyway…

So “Testy Tracy” has “degrees”! No doubt “McDegrees” from a “McUniversity”. Her ignorance about the Bar is patent, which (of course) does not prevent her from having strong opinions about things which she quite obviously fails to understand.

Would you give a silly ignorant woman like that a job? I wouldn’t. I think that that barrister, Yalland (whom I do not know) replied rather politely to what seems to be a semi-crazed creature.

Multikulti Britain, 2021. Shows both the slide into near-anarchy under the surface, and also the damage that even a “small” weapon can cause. The calibre of the compact Beretta shown is not noted in that report, but quite likely a .22 (a favourite weapon of MOSSAD in the past).

The EU represses free speech (even more)

https://www.spiked-online.com/2021/04/15/the-eus-war-on-free-speech/

I met the academic lawyer and author of that Spiked article, Professor Tettenborn, a couple of times when I was based in Exeter as a practising barrister (2002-2008). In fact we both sat, with a third person, as “Lords of Appeal”, presiding over a moot contested by Exeter University law students in 2002, and held at the city’s historic Guildhall.

[Exeter Guildhall]
[Exeter Guildhall interior]

My one and only time sitting as a “judge”!

In that Spiked piece, Professor Tettenborn says that Alison Chabloz is “an obsessive anti-Semitic headbanger“, which is not true, in my opinion (and that is strange language —even these days— in a serious piece of analysis, surely?). At least the Professor agrees with me that the prosecution(s) of Alison Chabloz has or have been “abusive“.

On the wider point, the fact is that the repression of free speech in the EU and in the UK is almost entirely driven by the Jew-Zionist element.

Alison Chabloz: application for bail pending appeal

Alison Chabloz today applied for bail pending appeal. She was represented, as on previous occasions, by Adrian Davies of Counsel, and the hearing was at Southwark Crown Court before H.H. Judge Tomlinson.

The application was refused, it seems on the ground that, on the facts of the case, it would be impossible to fashion terms of a suitable order that would prevent Alison from “reoffending” in the period between today and the date of the expected appeal hearing.

What that means is that Alison Chabloz remains in custody, though reports from usually-reliable sources indicate that she will probably be released before the end of this month (though, again probably, forced to wear an electronic tag for a while, absurdly).

At present, Alison’s likely release date will be on, or about, 26 April 2021.

It seems that the date of Alison’s appeal (in the Crown Court) from the conviction and sentence of Westminster Magistrates’ Court will be 3-4 June 2021. God grant her victory!

Recently, Steven Silverman of the abusive and malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” cabal and lobby group, wrote (in the Jewish press) that the “CAA” had put out “5 years of effort” into getting Alison Chabloz imprisoned, and now had finally succeeded.

In fact, Alison was briefly imprisoned last year, after yet another malicious attempt by the “CAA”, but was granted bail pending appeal; she then won that appeal (in effect: the CPS abandoned its opposition), and so only served 2 days in the end (plus the days of reception and release).

Silverman crowed about Alison’s imprisonment then and now, as did several of the (other) usual Jews and “antifa” idiots on Twitter.

Net result? After all that five years of effort —on Twitter, in the Jewish press, in suborning politicians and police officials, as well as the CPS—, the “CAA” has succeeded, this year, in having Alison Chabloz imprisoned for a total of what looks like being rather less than one month.

As against that, Alison Chabloz has received huge publicity and rather a lot of support, as a direct result of the prosecution and conviction. Don’t believe me? Look at the Readers’ Comments appended to the recent Daily Mail report about the case. Thousands supporting her.

Alison Chabloz

Latest news from reliable sources is that Alison Chabloz remains in Bronzefield Prison near Heathrow Airport. Her trial Counsel has spoken with her via a holographic system (dystopian UK…), and is applying for bail on her behalf.

The word is that Alison is in good heart, is managing well, and has received a good number of letters and cards from well-wishers.

Should anyone wish to send Alison a card, letter, or book, the address is:

Alison Chabloz, A6478EK,

Alison has both television and radio in her cell, and is reportedly occupying herself with reading, drawing, painting, listening to the radio and watching Antiques Roadshow on television.

Alison has also been told the good news that, in addition to time spent, to date, in custody (police custody, court custody —including all days, including preliminary hearings spent in court—, and time spent in prison) being taken off her total of actual time to be served, the 4 days she spent in prison (HMP New Hall, in Yorkshire) in 2020, prior to her successful appeal (another defeat for both “Campaign Against Antisemitism” and the suborned police and CPS), will be credited to her, and taken off the time she is presently serving.

In other words, having been sentenced to 18 weeks, Alison will have to serve (unless she gets bail pending appeal) 9 weeks, minus quite a number of days in police, court or other custody, and now minus also those 4 days from 2020.

The upshot is that, even if Alison cannot get bail pending appeal, she would only do a total of about 7 weeks actually in prison. She has already done nearly 2 weeks, so will be out, at latest, by some date in the latter half of May.

The fanatical Jew-Zionists of the “CAA” are hoping that their latest malicious complaint against Alison Chabloz (her next appearance re. that is on 28 April 2021) will result in a heavier sentence yet if any trial results in her conviction. From what little I have seen so far, I am hopeful that that will never be put to the test.

…and why is Alison Chabloz in a top-security prison, having (allegedly) “offended” a tiny proportion (about 50, and possibly only half a dozen) of the 250,000+ Jews in the UK by singing a few satirical songs?

[Update, same day: having received a query from a reader of the blog as to why I, a former barrister, needs to ask such a question, perhaps I should point out that the above question was meant to be read as rhetorical…]

…and that is even on on assumption that, for example, the one single death yesterday was “from Covid”…

This whole panicdemic scare in the UK has become ludicrous. In fact, despite the rabbits wearing facemasks everywhere, even in places where no “rule” (let alone law) mandates that, I do not feel that the fear of early 2020 is still abroad at all. People are just wearing their muzzles because they have been forced to (in shops etc) and also because it has become infra dig not to, rather like going into shops away from the beach wearing only swimming trunks. Not the done thing.

I notice that people stopped doing that “stay 6/8/10 feet away from other shoppers” thing some time ago. The population does not really, seriously, believe that it is in any great peril from “the virus”. Not any more.

In order to maintain whatever is left of its credibility, the Government will only slowly wind down the dictatorial nonsenses of lockdown, facemasks etc. It cannot admit that, in 2020, it made an appallingly bad series of decisions, so it will claim that only those measures have made it possible now to resume semi-normal life.
