“The Pentagon chief announced a threat to global energy due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian oil refineries.

Lloyd Austin announced this at a hearing in the US Senate. “ Certainly these attacks could have a knock-on effect on the global energy situation ,” he said.

At the same time, the head of the American defense department spoke in favor of Kiev stopping such actions. According to him, Ukraine “is better off pursuing tactical and operational goals that can directly affect current battles.”

Ukrainian drones have attacked several Russian oil refineries since the beginning of March. Among them are factories in the Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Ryazan regions, and Krasnodar Territory.“

The West, particularly the USA, is shooting itself in the foot. It gives money, arms, and ammunition to the Kiev regime, which uses part of that to attack oil refineries in Russia. Result— the world price of oil increases, Russia makes even more surplus from the many refineries still operating normally, and the West, including the USA, pays through the nose even more for oil, making its citizens poorer and its industries less competitive.

Layla Le Fey, 44, was handed a suspended jail sentence after the court heard she had been struggling with her mental health when she made the treats of extreme violence and arson towards the activists.

One post from Le Fey said: ‘I’m a trans woman and I’m not ashamed to admit I’d be happy to physically kick the s*** out of you and pull your eyes out and break your spine’.

In another post, Le Fey wrote: ‘If you want to prove your point that some trans people are extremely violent, I’m game’, while a third she said she wanted to burn Mrs Keen – founder of the group Standing for Women.

In a victim statement, Mrs Keen said she wanted to make clear the threats against her were made by a man.

‘A violent man committed a crime,’ she said. The violent threats had far greater impact on my husband and children than me. They are very worried for my safety. 

‘Terrorising women into silence was the intent of this man. I want to make it clear, this crime was committed by a man.’

“She added: ‘This is what happens when women speak up. I didn’t want to elevate this person’s comments, so I did not respond. It really is about time that “we” or, more accurately, the msm, stopped referring to these individuals as “trans women“. If they need be referred to at all, “trans persons” would be more accurate and so more suitable.

In fact, Tim Montgomerie is too mild. Abortion at a late stage is closer to murder than infanticide. Madness.

Terrible. I am glad to say that I have never been on “Universal Credit”, but were I not exempt by reason of age I just might have been, especially since the Jewish lobby (sub nom “UK Lawyers for Israel”) had the Bar Standards Board contrive a case to have me disbarred in 2016.

We hear much about the “epidemic of shoplifting” and other crime, but I am wondering how much of that is driven by the fact that the social security/”welfare” system now does not really provide a sufficient safety net for those without paid work or private means. Not all crime is driven by real need, of course, but much is.

We once read somewhere that a father used to buy goods from poor people at a high price, even though he didn’t need the things. Sometimes he paid more for them. His children were amazed. One day they asked him “why are you doing this dad?” The father replied: “It’s charity wrapped in dignity.”

I know that most of you will not share this message, but if you are one of the people who have taken the time to read this far… Then this message of attempted “humanisation” will have gone one step further in the right direction.“

The UK needs, and the British people want, no immigration of any sort at all. The UK must start actually educating and training people properly to fulfil occupations requiring great skill and knowledge, and pay them properly as well.

I am expecting a general advance of Russian armour and infantry, supported by air power, in 2024 and/or 2025. The Kiev-regime forces do not have the manpower to resist, or will soon not have. They are all now in purely defensive mode, despite the occasional missile or drone provocation attacking Russia itself.

It may be that that general advance will move west and north-west until most of Eastern Ukraine (i.e. east of the Dnieper) is occupied by Russian forces.

Kiev itself has been heavily fortified in defensive layers, including massive minefields. It may be that there will not be an attempt to storm Kiev until much later, in late 2025, or 2026.

The Kiev regime is draining armed forces personnel, arms, ammunition at a fairly rapid rate now. There may be some kind of palace revolution in Kiev, with the Jewish dictator, Zelensky, removed and forced into exile, along with his cabal and their stolen billions. At that point, peace talks may well occur and result in an armistice, even if no final or formal result or peace is possible.

Ironic. That Jewish woman once, quite a few years ago, tweeted openly to another one that I (together with some other person, entirely unknown to me) should be given a glass of strychnine to drink…

I do not want “a debate“. I want an end to this invasion. So do the British people.

That photo, showing President Assad, reminds me of when little William Hague, about 12 years ago, said that Assad was finished and would be on a plane out to exile somewhere or other within days, if not hours. Well, you people, most of you “Conservative” and “Labour” voters, never supported those who tried to warn of the likely consequences of the mass immigration invasion of the UK —from the 1950s through to today—, meaning Enoch Powell, the National Front, the BNP, social-national thinkers etc.

Many tried to get a public hearing, but were ignored, or persecuted, or even prosecuted. You people kept voting for System parties and their corrupt and/or stupid MPs. Even now, you vote for a System party. Now see the results…

Forget about knives. Knives are just a peripheral symptom. Look at and then deal with the causes. Those who carry the knives. They are probably already breeding the next generation of knife-carriers and stabbers.

It also warns of a £14bn funding black hole that must be plugged if England is to diagnose dementia as quickly as the other G7 countries, the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan.“

I have to say that the few Palestinians I have met (mostly in Qatar and around) have impressed me in that way, and far more favourably than the arrogant and stupid Gulf Arabs (Qataris and Kuwaitis) also met.

Sometime in the 1970s, I think probably in late 1977, I met the PLO representative in London, Said Hammami, who was based at the Arab League offices in Mayfair, and he was rather dismissive, but in retrospect I suppose that he had things on his mind, and probably little time in which to speak to a young person (21-y-o) with his head in the clouds in some ways…

I do not remember much about the discussion; mostly that the PLO man wore a rather filthy sheepskin coat in his little office, and that a young and rather stylish Arab woman in the outer office smoked a kind of long brown cigarette called More; I remember asking her what they were [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/More_(cigarette)].

Unfortunately, that PLO fellow was shot dead in the same office only (as far as I can recall) a few weeks later. The matter was never solved by the police. Either MOSSAD, or a different Palestinian faction to his own (he belonged to Fatah, I think). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Said_Hammami. Apparently he was in favour of talking to the Israelis; that may have been the reason behind the assassination.

Voters of Britain: whatever your ideology, whatever you support or dislike, when GE 2024 arrives vote any way you like except “Conservative”, or do not vote at all. Crush and exterminate this useless party. Equally-bad “Labour” can fall later, but first things first.

“Mathematically impossible numbers“? I seem to recall another situation in history involving “mathematically-impossible numbers” of individuals supposedly killed…in fact, that other situation involves numbers so vast, and industrial contrivances so complicated (and for which there is no historical evidence at all), that it seems that, at least in the way “they” usually say, and/or in the numbers “they” say, it is doubtful that that situation ever occurred at all…

If the numbers shown from Gaza are —supposedly— implausible (according to the Israelis), then those other numbers, from that other —supposed— incident of world history (promoted constantly by the Israelis and the world Jewish lobby) are completely unbelievable, as are the supposed events in detail.

As far as the Gazan deaths and injuries are concerned, the Israelis seem to be saying something akin to “we have not killed 30,000+ people, mostly women and children, neither have we injured 100,000+. The figures are far less high, and far fewer children were killed or grievously injured.”

Do the “Israelis” really think that that sort of argument cuts much ice, even if true (and, after all, they are inveterate falsifiers of history)?

Happened to see the above. I have read it. Nothing obviously objectionable in it. The leader of that new party is Alek Yerbury, of whom I only recently heard.

Worth pointing out, though, that the tens of thousands of pounds (maybe hundreds of thousands) the police (behaving as a poundland Stasi) and Clown Prosecution “Service” spent and wasted (over years), employing drones and dogsbodies to trawl through about a thousand or more of my blog posts, might have been better spent dealing with real crime, not invented and contrived thought crime. Just a thought.

All that money and effort (and it would have been thousands more had I availed myself, as I was entitled to do, of my right to instruct solicitors and Counsel via legal aid) has resulted in a sentence of 15 days (part-days) talking with the Probation Service, plus a costs order of £734 (part of which has already been crowdfunded, and which is anyway being paid off at a not-too-painful £91.75 per month).

Jesus H. Christ! Even Nick Ferrari has apparently woken up to the menace of Israel and the UK Jewish lobby. I would scarcely have believed it.

Now all we need is for the suborned UK police and CPS to wake up and stop allowing themselves to be played by “the lobby”…

As noted on yesterday’s blog, what you get with Matthew Parris is the logical but spiritually-empty argument of the culturally-unattached, atheistic, metro-affluent gay, which Parris is.

If you had to characterize Matthew Parris symbolically, it would be a minimalist painting of an empty room. Something like this:

Having said that, the ageing of the population is a challenge. We see that the birth-rate in Europe and across Eurasia is dropping to, has already dropped to, below replacement level.

The birth-rate is falling in the European-populated countries (my main concern), but also in almost every other part of the world, except Africa and a few parts of the Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia.

That rush is now at an end. The fact that it is mainly the Africans who are still being born in large numbers may reflect the fact (if it is a fact) that they were last in incarnation very long ago. Hundreds more free and prowling our streets. Labour proposes leniency for such individuals, avoiding even basic searches. Having lived amongst these people, I can tell you that they are vile, ruthless and dangerous individuals. They are beyond rehabilitation and should be locked up for life. Yet, under Labour’s policies, they seem to be heading, unchecked and protected, to a town near you.

So, what do we do? It’s a horrible feeling, an unbelievable nightmare that seems absurd given the majority that Boris won. Yes, a vote for Reform is a vote for hope and what we believe in, but it’s giving us Labour.

They cannot win, the Tories, in the state they are in, cannot win. WE cannot win, whatever we do. We will be stuck with a huge majority Labour government for 10-15 years, the UK won’t survive the absurd wokery, anti Britishness and open arms to the masses.

What kind of hell are we subjecting our children and grandchildren to? The simple matter is the Tories have let us down, and now it seems like our Brexit dreams are just slipping away because they didn’t stand strong when it mattered.

There’s still time; there could be a plot twist coming just around the corner, but it will need the true right of the Conservatives to look themselves in the mirror and remember the people of the United Kingdom, who and what we are, what we fought for, and what we expected of them. Well, I agree with much of that. Not all. For one thing, Dunce Duncan Smith should be put on trial and receive the just measure of his deeds. Also, Starmer is just a puppet of the Israel lobby; at best useless, at worst a soon-to-be “elected” tyrant.

I now see quite a few tweets from people whose guess is closer to my own, i.e. as few as 50 MPS.

I doubt that most of that relates to the Gaza slaughter as such; probably more to do with the high Israeli (Jewish) losses in the field, and the fact that much of the world now thoroughly despises Israel and its population. That, and the fact that, after nearly six months, the Israelis have still not achieved anything that looks like “victory”, despite their overwhelming firepower, their devastation of urban and residential areas, and the death toll visited upon tens of thousands of Gazan civilians.

The Kiev regime can mount attacks on bridges, railway lines, or even concert venues (using proxy terrorists) but, on the other side, Russian forces are destroying what is left of the Ukraine’s electricity generation and supply system, as well as slowly but surely grinding down the ever more sparse Kiev-regime forces in the field.

If Kiev becomes a bastion, almost impenetrable, the advancing Russian forces may either bypass the region, or simply reduce Kiev by means of air power.

Whatever the outcome of that, it seems clear that the Kiev-regime forces are expecting a large-scale Russian advance in 2024-2025, an advance which they have, and will have, no means of countering.

The outline of her ribs, along with all her other bones, are visible through her pallid, paper-thin skin, which sits in stark contrast to the blue blanket underneath her that provides little comfort to the toddler, who is not old enough to comprehend the hellish suffering she is undergoing. 

Her jaw is slack as she lies on her back inside the plastic cage of the incubator, barely able to move her arms and legs. 

She can’t keep her eyes open as medics at the hospital, which UN official Andrea De Domenico this week said was receiving ‘about 15 malnourished children a day and is struggling to maintain services,’ run tests to understand how to help her. 

But it’s food, water and proper rest she needs, all things that the whole enclave is desperately in need of, and all things that Israel has been accused of deliberately withholding from civilians in its bitter war against Hamas, which – according to a top UN human rights official – could amount to a war crime.”

When I was at the Bar, I advised and appeared on several such cases in the County Court, both in London and the provinces. Almost all, in fact all, should have settled long before they got to court, long before any barristers were instructed.

I think that I can say that I, and other counsel in the cases known to me, did our best to achieve reasonable closure, but these are cases (often involving trivial amounts of land) where reason always seems to fly out out of the window.

In many cases, all Counsel, solicitors, and the judge in the matter, understand that the matters in question should settle before enormous costs are racked up but, often, the litigants are effectively willing to risk bringing down ruin on themselves for a chance of gaining a victory over their neighbours (with whom they will have to live —nearby— afterwards, after the case ends, whichever way it goes), unless one party sells up and moves (in which event…well, you get my point).

If you told someone to remortgage his house, take out equity of £50,000, £100,000 or more, then go to Las Vegas, and stake the entire amount, maybe in one spin, on red or black at the roulette table, the houseowner would call you crazy, but that is, often, exactly what he or she —often a couple— are willing to do in taking to the County Court (in some cases to the High Court) such cases.

I remember one case I had that was about a wedge-shaped piece of land running the length of a North London suburban garden; at one end it was only about an inch or so wide and, at the other, about a foot.

What can one say? Territorial feeling can be very powerful.

Private enterprise —properly regulated for honesty, health and safety, employee rights etc— should run most commerce and industry, but there are exceptions, among which are the main structures of the economy providing services to the whole people: water supply, large-scale energy, electricity generation and supply, roads, railways.

Very true. As for me [b.1956], my memories of even the late 1950s are few, but those of the 1960s, and up to the present year, are many. Speaking very broadly, I should say that the dividing line between the UK of 2024 and an earlier and different UK lies, arguably, somewhen between the Thatcher election victory of 1979 and the fall of socialism in or about 1989. Maybe 1979 as far as the UK is concerned, domestically. Too much to cover here in a few paragraphs, though.

Interesting. Britain’s town planning problems and history differ from the above American examples, in part, though there are also similarities.

Town planning is very important, as is architecture, and not forgetting the trees, bushes, creepers, and flowers that elevate all of that.

Seems that H.M. Land Registry (or its ad agency) does not know the difference between “principle” and “principal“. On that basis, I am sceptical about anything they say they will do; it is not trivial, but a matter of both basic education and checking what is put before the public.

So much for the “military experts”, many of which (as in the case of the reporter David Axe) turn out to be not very expert at all: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Axe.

People of that sort write their rubbish for (in his case) Forbes magazine, the Daily Telegraph etc, and people believe it implicitly because it is in (albeit wrongfully) “trusted” publications, yet much of the content is unreliable. Read Axe’s Wikipedia entry. Not an ex-officer, not a military historian as such, but a writer of fiction primarily, at least until recently. His reporting on military matters has been patchy; refer to the Wikipedia entry.

There are many scribblers of that sort. He is far from being the only defaulter.

Of course, in relation to the Ukraine war, a significant factor in reportage is that most Western msm outlets are openly biased to an extent not seen since the 1940s. Anything seen in the msm relating to Ukraine, Russia, Putin etc has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Future archaeologists may find such tanks buried under a hundred feet of chernozem, and wonder what they were.
