Press standards, and a few other thoughts

From a Daily Mirror report, penned by “journalists” Alec Whitaker and Lorraine King:

Bride-to-be Tiffany Anderson, 28, even done the books for Rhys Mason so he could a tab on his ill-gotten gains while he stored the drugs in the safe at her tanning studio.” https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/beauty-salon-boss-allowed-fiance-23881586

She “done the booksso he could a tab on his ill-gotten gains“?! Newspapers such as the Daily Mirror may not be great literature but they used to be at least halfway literate. Nowadays, supposed journalists are often seen writing such as “she was stood at the back“! Not only the Mirror, incidentally. The Daily Mail is also terrible. Others too.

Neither is the above sentence, about someone called Tiffany, an isolated mistake. Look at the sub-headline in the same report.

On the wider question, how is it that the defendants got off so lightly? The thug boyfriend got 27 months, so he will be out in a year. As for the “ho”…yes, that’s right...suspended sentence. Who needs a Get Out Of Jail Free Card when you have a couple of young children as an argument in mitigation to put before the sentencing judge?

Finally, the court was told that the amount made by the couple was uncertain. Maybe so, but they owned a Range-Rover (albeit a decade old).

If the State, if society, is unwilling to really repress drug dealers and users, it will never solve the problem…

Alison Chabloz

Nothing new about Alison Chabloz’s proposed appeal and/or bail application. I shall add detail as I have it.

In the meantime, at least Alison has now already served (as of tomorrow,14 April 2021) 2 full weeks of what is effectively, or in real terms, a 7-8 week sentence.

Straw in the wind?

I was at, inter alia, a filling station today. As I went into the kiosk to pay, a lady was just coming out. I noticed that she was unmasked, though had pulled up her loose woollen jumper in a ludicrous gesture to the Covid toytown police state regime; yet the mere fact that she had no facemask muzzle on made my heart leap. Freedom!

More seriously, few really have much (if any) fear of “the virus” now (for good reason) but are complying with the facemask nonsense purely out of conformism and convenience. The whole nonsense of the “panicdemic” is ebbing away, not before time.

Translation of tweeter “@HerbyMcfly”s tweet: “I only accept what the msm news outlets tell me. I have no idea about the “Great Reset” or other proven (and even admitted) matters that are often lazily called “conspiracy theories”. I cannot even understand why a serial and constant liar, chancer, and opportunist like Boris Johnson would lie again for political advantage...”

Truly, “democracy” (and education) is wasted on some people.

“Beginning to think”?! Good grief! Where has that tweeter been for the past 50 years?!

Tweeter “@BillDrysdale6” makes a good point. A similar example might be the fairly useless and certainly hypocritical utterances of Laurence Fox, the “Free Speech Union” etc. While they are (like Breitbart, Prison Planet Watson, UKIP, Brexit Party, Farage etc) “controlled opposition”, the utterances of those people and groups do start to awaken some people, if not “radicalize” them directly.

…and there is no semi-placebo vaccine available, ironically.

…”had enough”, perhaps, but “do anything much about it”, beyond posting on Twitter, I doubt it.

I have no quarrel with people trying to raise socio-political consciousness by tweeting, vlogging, blogging (as I myself do), but those activities alone will not trigger anything directly.

I, who once lived in London (mostly Little Venice, but also several other areas from time to time), now have not even visited the capital for over 4 years, and have not followed the contest for the position of Mayor in detail.

I imagine that Khan, though useless and unpleasant, will probably win; the “Conservative” candidate, Shaun Bailey, has never done anything but be a kind of “Uncle Tom” for various parts of the Conservative Party etc, except to run a “charity” which accomplished nothing, and which suffered from financial “irregularities” (though Bailey was never actually charged with anything). Let’s just say that the monies “disappeared” somewhere…[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaun_Bailey_(AM)#Career_before_politics].

Bailey may or may not have been dishonest; he may have been simply incompetent and/or negligent. Just the person to run London! Oh, no…wait!

Since 2016, Bailey has been a “list” member of the London Assembly. Nearly £60,000 a year for doing not a lot…[https://www.london.gov.uk/about-us/governance-and-spending/spending-money-wisely/salaries-expenses-benefits-and-workforce-information].

Bailey recently held a press conference, but the only person he could get to be filmed with him was a woman who could best be described as a “Balkan fraud”, and who was actually convicted of fraud and forgery a number of years ago (in 2013). ‘Nuff said…(for now).

The bookmakers have Khan as 1/33 (thirty-three-to-one on) favourite at present. Bailey is at 45/1 (against), with the second favourite one Brian Rose, an American former banker and heroin addict [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Rose_(podcaster)], and who stands at present at 25/1 in the betting, thus far ahead of Bailey but far far behind Khan: https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/london-mayoral-election/winner.

Laurence Fox, the actor and (supposed) “free speech” champion is a candidate (presently in the betting at 250/1).

There are 20 candidates altogether, and a more useless bunch it would be hard to find…[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_London_mayoral_election#Candidates].

They call a circus like that “democracy” (“democrappy”?)…

My own view of cannabis (and other illegal drugs) and the law is that, while the clarity of complete decriminalization appeals, I despise drug abusers, and would prefer either drug abuse to cease to exist, or drug abusers to cease to exist (or be eliminated).

On the other hand, the present system is not working.

I am also cognizant of the fact that societies where cannabis use is prevalent tend to fall to pieces, as Hafiz, the Persian poet, saw happening in his own country many centuries ago, and as one can see in the areas of the world where cannabis use is prevalent; Jamaica, for one.

All the —mainly British— people I knew when younger (1970s, 1980s), those who regularly smoked marijuana, dropped out of society to a greater or lesser extent.

The old Stasi, in the DDR, would have loved “Covid passports”, “track and trace” etc.

That anti-white narrative or stream of constant msm propaganda particularly affects the blacks, who as a group tend to lack logical-critical thinking skills.

Radio loudmouth Julia Hartley-Brewer (who blocked me years ago on Twitter when I exposed her ignorance on a point or two of law and procedure) seems to be turning a blind eye to the abuses carried out by the Jew-Zionist lobby. She has never said a word in support of the free speech of those attacked, and even prosecuted, at the instigation of packs of Zionist Jews such as the “Campaign Against Antisemitism”. I wonder why?

Yes, Laurence Fox and his “Reclaim Party” can be put in the same bin as all the rest of the controlled opposition: Reform UK, Brexit Party, UKIP, “anti-immigration” “Conservatives”, Katie Hopkins, “Tommy Robinson”, Breitbart, “Prison Planet” Watson, “Sargon of Akkad”, Delingpole, Toby Young and his fake “Free Speech Union” etc etc.

Is that so? If the new Alba Party challenges the SNP in most Scottish constituencies, and effectively enough so that other parties come through the middle (Conservative, LibDem, Labour), then yes. It may well be, though (and I never claim great knowledge of Scottish politics) that many voters “up there” will choose between Alba Party and SNP, and simply dump the others.

Voters who are pro-Independence but anti-SNP. I do not know whether that is so, and whether there are even any pro-Independence but anti-SNP voters.

At the moment, it seems doubtful that Alba Party will make a big impression: https://news.sky.com/story/scottish-elections-sturgeons-snp-set-for-majority-but-salmonds-alba-unlikely-to-get-single-seat-sky-news-poll-12268966.

I am guessing, but it may be that Salmond’s quite recent sex crime trial has mortally wounded him politically, even if he was formally acquitted.

Either way, it does seem that “Independence”, however nebulous a concept that is in the Scottish context where a new Scotland might still be tied into EU, IMF, World Bank, NATO etc, is gaining ground with Scottish voters. That might have big geopolitical implications.

Well, I see that John Rentoul has again been defeated by me, this week scoring only 3/10. My own score was 6/10 (I did not know the answers to questions 4, 6, 9 and 10).

Of course, to say that “Scotland voted SNP” in 2015, 2017, and 2019 is true only in terms of First Past The Post voting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_National_Party#House_of_Commons_2.

In 2015, the SNP captured 56 out of the 59 Scottish seats in the Commons; in 2017, 35 out of 59, and in 2019, 48 out of 59. “Scotland” therefore, supposedly “voted SNP”.

In reality though, meaning in terms of the popular vote, the SNP only scored 50%, 36.9% and 45% in those years.

Usually, when there is a successful popular movement for a country to leave a larger country or empire, there is a large popular majority for that: 90% in favour, perhaps; certainly 80%. In Scotland, any majority at all is likely to be small, maybe 55% for and 45% against.

Purge of internet radio stations

There seems to be ongoing, and now intensifying, a purge of dissident “radio stations” on the Internet. The noisy “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake charity yesterday announced that, at its instigation, Devon and Cornwall Police and CPS had charged someone from Cornwall under the Public Order Act 1986.

I was informed by a blog commentator that a former BBC employee who now runs his own “radio station” online from Nottinghamshire, has also been harassed by the police.

We have seen how others who run, or even just talk on, Internet “radio” podcasts are being subjected to similar treatment. Alison Chabloz is on trial, on a similar basis, next week (30-31 March 2021). Good luck and victory to her!

Britain’s toytown police state is gradually developing into a real one, aided by the weaponization of “the virus”, a supine Bar, malleable or complicit judges, conniving mass media, and a non-existent Parliamentary Opposition.

The “average Joe” still has no idea that what we are seeing in the UK is effectively the extirpation of what have passed as “democracy”, most civil rights etc, and all —supposedly— because of a virus that, worldwide, has killed about one person in every 4,000 people.

In reality, this is all, or almost all, simply an easy way to smooth the way for the NWO/ZOG “Great Reset” of 2022, and to set the agenda for the years up to 2055. An attempt to control the current of the Zeitgeist

I myself had a very good year in Kazakhstan (1996-1997), despite occasional problems and, indeed, a scuffle or two.

For once, I find myself in agreement with Fraser Nelson.

[“At the end stands— Victory”…]

Alison Chabloz

The persecuted satirist and singer-songwriter, Alison Chabloz, will be in court tomorrow on first appearance in respect of a charge under Public Order Act 1986. From what little I have heard, it sounds like a nonsense charge, but I await developments. In the meantime, I wish her well.

Alison Chabloz also awaits trial, set down for 2 days (30-31 March 2021) on a charge under the notorious bad law of the Communications Act 2003, s.127.

Tomorrow’s hearing, and also that trial at the end of the month, will be at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, Marylebone Road, London.

[Alison Chabloz]

I wish her good luck and, above all, victory.

That would be highly unlikely!

What is now happening is of course terrible, and is closely connected with the upcoming very significant year 2022, the latest since 1989 in the 33-year cycle.

By grace of God, there may be a way to turn all of it to the Good in the end.

Eliminate such exploiters.

The suppression of truth is what the Jew-Zionist element has been trying to accomplish, for decades, in respect of the “holocaust” farrago, and in particular the “gas chambers” nonsense.

The Camel and the Needle’s Eye

I am told that the book is interesting. Read it for free here: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/60379/60379-h/60379-h.htm

The author was opposed to war with Germany both in 1914 and in 1939, and therefore was also opposed to Churchill taking over as Prime Minister in 1940 (there was no General Election): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Ponsonby,_1st_Baron_Ponsonby_of_Shulbrede. A rare politician of principle.

I blogged about nonsense of this sort a couple of years ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/11/15/when-reality-becomes-subjective/.

There will probably be an all-out war with China (NATO v. China) sooner than we think. That war may well devastate the USA and Europe. It will be terrible, but also may give the post-Aryan European people the possibility of joining with Russia afterwards, in order to create a new society across Eurasia…and a future super-race.

If he feels so strongly about such bad behaviour, Goodwin should have a word with the officials of the small but well-funded Jew-Zionist cabal known as the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”. They and their members have been trying to ruin people’s businesses, professional practices, academic careers etc for years, all the while playing the Jewish “victim”… The same applies to other basically Jewish groups such as “Hope not Hate” and its smaller copyists.

First thoughts

Was listening to the BBC Radio 4 Today Programme, specifically to some Italian woman, an EU drone from the (Italian) Democratic Party [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Party_(Italy)], in respect of Italy/EU having blocked a vaccine export to Australia.

This was apparently an EU action, rather than a simply Italian one, but it reminded me that, over the years, I have heard from several people foolish enough to contract with Italians and Italian companies, including very large ones. Keywords? Dishonesty, unreliability.

Better news

A pesticide believed to harm bees won’t be used in England, after it had been approved for temporary use in January.

The government had authorised the emergency use of a product containing the chemical thiamethoxam, because of a virus which affected sugar beet seeds.

But that protection won’t be needed now, as the colder weather means there’s less risk to the crop.”

I would sacrifice the entire sugar beet crop if that were necessary to protect the bee population.

He received 13.5% of the vote and came third (after the Conservative Party and UKIP candidates): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_West_Wiltshire_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2010s. A politics graduate (University of Hull), he works at the University of Leeds: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/georgeaylett123.

Can you imagine what would happen to already-declining Labour if Dawn Butler became leader?! Still, few are without any good qualities at all; she seems to be a target of the Jew-Zionist lobby, so she cannot be all bad! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawn_Butler#Political_controversies.

Aylett does have a point, though. The justification for dumping Corbyn was that another leader (as it turned out, Jewish-lobby puppet Keir Starmer) would be more popular with the public, more “electable”. Seems not…

Russia, trains, and elderly rural inhabitants

I saw this:

It is not clear where the train in the above film is located. Possibly in the north of Russia, or the Urals region, though the use of the word taiga for “forest” seems to indicate a Siberian location.

Ah, got it: the settlement of Soyga is in the Lensky district of the Arkhangelsk oblast (a large area akin to a typical American state in area), in the far north of Russia): see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oblasts_of_Russia; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkhangelsk_Oblast; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkhangelsk; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lensky_District,_Arkhangelsk_Oblast

That German news documentary reminds me of a film I saw over 20 years ago, Bread Day [on British TV possibly shown as Bread Train]:
True to its title, Sergei Dvortsevoy’s Bread Day spans the course of 24 hours, specifically in “Township #3” in Zhikharevo, located 80 km from St. Petersburg. As revealed by the opening title card, this former worker’s settlement is now all but abandoned, save for a handful of pensioners and some rambunctious goats. This fateful day starts with a small group of these aforementioned elderly (primarily women) convening in the middle of nowhere during winter, in order to take delivery of a train carriage that they then proceed to push along the tracks through the blistering cold and thick snow.https://eefb.org/retrospectives/sergey-dvortsevoys-bread-day-khlebnyy-den-1998/

The settlement or small village in Bread Day was only 50 miles from St. Petersburg; the settlement in the German news film shown above is more remote, somewhere hundreds of miles from Arkhangelsk, which is a city of nearly 350,000 inhabitants, and which has airports, and a seaport, as well as a train to Moscow, 700 miles to the south.

Arkhangelsk. Northern Dvina River P7161449 2200.jpg
[Arkhangelsk]

A Soviet person once told me (c.1980) that you only had to go about 15 miles from the then Leningrad to find yourself in villages without running water, though almost everywhere had electricity: “Socialism means Soviet power plus the electrification of the whole country” [Lenin].

Since the collapse of socialism (1989, though the Soviet Union limped on until 1991), the rail system in Russia and other republics declined in most respects. While some express and other trains are now more efficient, branch lines to “unimportant” places have been more or less left to rot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_transport_in_the_Soviet_Union. A less organized version of what happened in the UK during the Beeching era of the 1960s, but on a vast scale. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beeching_cuts.

Of course, the train branch lines in Russia are also symptomatic of the decline of the Russian countryside, which was not always very prosperous even in Tsarist days, but was hit and mortally wounded by the socialist policy of Collectivization from 1928 onward: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collectivization_in_the_Soviet_Union.

Since the fall of socialism, since people in the rural areas have been free to relocate to cities (including Moscow), the rural areas have fallen even further into the swamp. Population loss (especially of the young), ageing population, services of all kinds declining or abandoned.

Peter Hitchens has fallen victim, not to “the virus”, nor to the vaccine, but to the Twitter curse of getting caught up in pointless arguments on a personal basis. There is a lot going on in the world; focus on that.

Of course, he is right that, not the virus but the government measures shutting down society and economy for over a year, are already impoverishing the UK. Look at the fuss over the modest 1% NHS pay rise proposal. It could have more a great deal more had the government not wasted enormous amounts on almost if not actually pointless “virus” measures, in particular the ludicrous “lockdowns”.

Final word for tonight

It will be recalled that, a week ago, I notified my blog readers that a certain NHS consultant from Essex (I have blogged about his abuse previously, but let’s just call him “Dr. Dim” for now) had tweeted, falsely accusing me, as well as persecuted singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz, and also a professional photographer, Jo Stowell, of threatening to release details of his home address publicly, something which not only was not so, but also would be impossible for me in view of the fact that I do not actually know that address (nor even in which town or village he lives)!

“Dr. Dim” (NHS consultant psychiatrist) then received numerous tweets from persons who had obviously seen and believed his false, libellous and harassing tweets (at least one other, though mentioning no names, is still up on Twitter, or was, as of yesterday).

I made official complaint to Dr. Dim’s NHS employers last Monday. As a result, “Dr. Dim” has removed that particular offending tweet (the one naming me, Alison Chabloz and Jo Stowell), no doubt forced to do so by his employers. He had already been forced to remove an earlier tweet about Alison Chabloz; his employers relayed to her, I believe, his “sincere apologies”.

We shall see now where this goes. “Dr. Dim” (who himself has mental problems) has been tweeting, unpleasantly, about me for several years (together with a little Zionist group on Twitter). I now have a number of different possibilities in terms of official and/or regulatory complaint, and also the possibility of taking direct civil legal action. We shall see.

Obviously, weather is not the same as climate, and the fact that snow and ice still exist, or increase, in this or that region does not thereby necessarily vitiate the “climate change” narrative(s).

Having said that, the whole “global warming”/”climate change” campaign (which is what it is) has been replete with fraud, misrepresentation, and straight nonsense (as when Al Gore’s popular film explained, entirely inaccurately, that the ecological disaster of the Aral Sea had been caused by climate change, when in fact the cause had been Soviet diversion of rivers in the 1960s and thereafter in order to irrigate cotton fields on a vast scale. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aral_Sea).

My own view, provisionally, is that some climate change is occurring, though I am unsure as to whether (or to what extent) that is the result of CO2 emissions (as claimed), sunspot activity, or some other causative factor(s).

For me, the bottom line is that the major polluter is China, and whatever a relatively small country like the UK does or does not do to reduce “emissions” is a drop in the ocean anyway. I believe that I am right in saying that the EU only produces about 9%-10% of “global emissions” of CO2, the UK only about 1% of the world total. In other words, even if the UK disappeared tomorrow, the difference would be minimal.

The real problem in the world as it is, is that the world population is twice as large as it was in 1970, and about twenty times as large as it was about 600 years ago, i.e. around 1400 AD, when our own age (characterized by such as Rudolf Steiner and Valentin Tomberg as the “5th Post-Atlantean Age”) started.

Most of the population increase of the past half-century or more has been in only 4 countries: China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh.

The basic problem facing the world at present is that the world population is far too large now; there are too many people, and that really means too many “black, brown and yellow” people, if you like.

My own blog overview of the matters raised: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/26/the-tide-is-coming-in-reflections-on-the-possible-end-of-our-present-civilization-and-what-might-follow/

Certainly Robin Cook, the then Foreign Secretary, was actually once given a public dressing down by the unpleasant Alastair Campbell, which on the face of it seemed startling (a “mere” public relations man telling off the Foreign Secretary).

While (as I blogged yesterday) I do have some sympathy for Hitchens in this matter, the point is that he is rather in the position of a fervent preacher for abstention from alcohol and its effects, which preacher then starts to enjoy a bottle of claret daily. He may say that he still opposes the easy availability of booze, but now that he himself is indulging in it, his words have less weight.

Stray thought

I was looking at Twitter and happened to see the tweets of what seems to be a Jewish woman resident in the UK. The tweets veered between the rather unpleasant and the trivial. What, however, caught my attention was the wording of the profile, which included the Hebrew words “עם ישראל חי“, which (thanks to Google Translate) I now know mean “Israel Lives“.

Hitler once said, of Germany in the Weimar Republic period, something akin to (I cannot right away find the exact quotation) that “there lives among us a foreign people, with all the rights of the German people” [without being part of Germany].

It is often said that to say that Jews in the UK give their allegiance to Israel before the UK, or even to say that their loyalties are split, is “antisemitic” (which, the judge in Alison Chabloz’s Crown Court appeal from the magistrates’ court reminded people, “is not a crime in England“).

The fact is that, for many Jews in the UK, Israel is more important than the UK, even when (as most do) they prefer to live in, perhaps work in or profit in, the UK rather than in Israel.

Hitler on Churchill

Adolf Hitler
Remarks June 1941 recorded by Martin Bormann, published in Hitler’s Table Talk (1953):

He [Winston Churchill] is the most bloodthirsty or amateurish strategist in history . . . For over five years this man has been chasing around Europe like a madman in search of something that he could set on fire. . . As a soldier he is a bad politician and as a politician is an equally bad soldier. . . The gift Mr. Churchill possesses is the gift to lie with a pious expression on his face and to distort the truth until finally glorious victories are made out of the most terrible defeats. . . Churchill, one of the most hopeless dabblers in strategy, thus managed to lose two theaters of war [in Yugoslavia and Greece] at one single blow. In any other country he would be court-martialed . . . His abnormal state of mind can only be explained as symptomatic either of a paralytic disease or of a drunkard’s ravings.

Churchill was certainly a terrible military strategist. Not only the disastrous campaigns in Yugoslavia and Greece (1941) but the later (1943) ideas of striking at the German Reich either via the South of France (a concept soon abandoned) or Italy (1943-45).

Italy was successfully invaded (the Italian Government deposed Mussolini, and then surrendered. Most of Italy was then eventually conquered by American, British and other Allied forces, but those forces never managed to occupy even all of Italy by the end of the War; neither did they penetrate Reich territory).

As to Churchill’s other strategic failures, one might mention, inter alia, the Fall of Singapore (1942) and (in the First World War) the disastrous plan to invade Turkey via Gallipoli.

Hitler on the USA

Adolf Hitler
Proclamation December 1941, addressing troops after taking over as Commander-in-Chief of the army
:

I don’t see much future for the Americans. It’s a decayed country. And they have their racial problem, and the problem of social inequalities . . . Everything about the behavior of American society reveals that it’s half Judaized, and the other half negrified. How can one expect a State like that to hold together – a country where everything is built on the dollar?

Was he wrong? He was, as so often, ahead of his time, but look at the USA in 2021!

More from Hitler about Churchill

Adolf Hitler
Remarks January 1942 recorded by Martin Bormann, published in Hitler’s Table Talk (1953):

Churchill is the very type of a corrupt journalist. There’s not a worse prostitute in politics. He himself has written that it’s unimaginable what can be done in war with the help of lies. He’s an utterly repulsive creature. I’m convinced that he has his place of refuge ready beyond the Atlantic. He obviously won’t seek sanctuary in Canada. In Canada he’d be beaten up. He’ll go to his friends the Yankees. As soon as this damnable winter is over, we’ll remedy all that.”

Sadly, Fate took a different turn, but now we’re back!

The Lost City of Z

Saw a film, The Lost City of Z: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lost_City_of_Z_(film), a biopic of the explorer, Fawcett [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percy_Fawcett]. I recall reading a quite interesting Penguin paperback about or (now that I look at Amazon’s website) by Fawcett, about 35 years ago.

The film was pretty good, very well-made, thoughtful. Not sure that a couple of politically-correct 2015-2016 (when the film was made) bits did not intrude: the views of (the film) Fawcett on race and culture may not have really mirrored those of the real Fawcett; one or two scenes seemed to show behaviour closer to the present day than how English people behaved in 1910 or 1920.

All the same, this was a very good film. It avoided the cliche and the ordinary. It held the attention to the end. Sadly, it was a financial bomb, costing USD $30M but grossing only $19M, says Wikipedia. Many of the best films are not popular or profitable, the 1946 original of The Razor’s Edge, for example. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Razor%27s_Edge_(1946_film).

I see now that Fawcett’s brother, Edward Douglas Fawcett, was also an interesting character, a mountaineer and Theosophist, who was acquainted with Blavatsky [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helena_Blavatsky]. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Douglas_Fawcett.

Russian TV made a documentary about Percy Fawcett, “Cursed Gold of the Incas“, as part of a series called “Secret Century“; that documentary was shown in 2003:

The latest censorship by Zionists and their dupes

Sad. When I was a small child, around 1960, I loved The Cat in the Hat etc, usually taken out from the children’s section of the local library. Now, Jewish supremacists in the USA are demanding that all of those books be banned. Six already have been. The Washington Post, CNN, all the usual suspects, are on the case now.

Does the USA now still call itself a “free country”, with freedom of expression? Not entirely a rhetorical question. Maybe even the concept is effectively gone…

A fair point, I suppose. A few people (of prominence) such as Hitchens have done what they can to wake people up to the weaponization of “the virus” for the promotion of an ulterior agenda (the “Great Reset”), but the big battalions of the Government, Opposition (so-called) and msm were all pro-lockdown, pro-shutdown, pro-facemask nonsense etc.

https://twitter.com/LoyalDefender2K/status/1366318651201191938?s=20

For myself, I should have preferred it had those of prominence in the msm etc, such as Hitchens, refused to be vaccinated (as I have). Having said that, every individual must make his own choice. To each, his own. Jedem bei seinem…

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9310381/Calls-former-editor-Roy-Greenslade-lose-university-post-admits-secretly-backing-IRA.html

The UK msm is riddled with traitors of all sorts: former IRA supporters, supporters of Israel and Jewish terrorism, “refugees welcome” dimwits, “antifascist” idiots, anti-white European race and culture oppositionists etc.

In relation to the Greenslade matter, he was not alone in being a Fleet Street partisan for the terrorists in the 1970s.

There was a well-known part-Irish, part-Belgian, part-Jewish journalist (whose name presently escapes me), now long-deceased, who was also a columnist in London and who wrote about 30 years ago how appalled he was when, in the early 1970s, he realized how many mainstream/Fleet Street journalists reporting on the situation in Northern Ireland were strongly pro-Republican and often actually pro-IRA (Provisional IRA). This at a time when bombs were going off in London and across the UK as well as “over the water” in Northern Ireland itself.

[Addendum, 1 March 2022: re-reading this a year after having written it, the name of that anti-IRA Irish-Belgian-Jew journalist suddenly came to me: Stan Gebler Davies, described on Wikipedia as “part-Polish, part-Jewish“. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_Gebler_Davies; https://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/obituary-stan-gebler-davies-1424755.html].

The public were unaware how many employees of their daily “news” papers were pro-IRA.

The same newspapers are still pumping out disguised propaganda, though these days it is more often that they are supporting migration invasion, “black lives matter” nonsense etc.

National Lottery

What would you do if you won the lottery?” A “frequently-asked question”, I suppose. Most people do not stray far from the “new house, new car, expensive holiday” banalities. I think that I might offer a different answer, should that benevolent lightning strike me. I should probably employ an expensive firm of solicitors and, if necessary, Counsel, to use available legal strategems such as Norwich Pharmacal orders against a number of pseudonymous Twitter trolls. Let’s find out who they really are, and where they are, so that legal action can be taken against them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwich_Pharmacal_order.

Diary Blog, 28 February 2021, including a few thoughts about trees and forests

I happened to see a report in the Independent about trees: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/prison-green-space-trees-mental-health-b1808251.html.

As Chekhov said, either (I forget) in one of his famous works, or perhaps to Gorky, and later recounted in Gorky’s memoirs called Literary Portraits, that “there are men to whom a tree is sacred“.

[RUSSIA – JANUARY 01: Russian writers Anton Pavlovich CHEKHOV and Maxim GORKY at Yalta in 1900. (Photo by Keystone-France/Gamma-Keystone via Getty Images)]

[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxim_Gorky; https://www.gutenberg.org/files/37129/37129-h/37129-h.htm]

It is hard to imagine anywhere, or any architecture, that cannot be improved by the proximity of a few trees, or which will not be impoverished if existing trees are cut down.

Trees have several enemies in modern Britain, not least local councils who often resent the cost of sweeping leaves etc. The “health and safety” aspect is sometimes brought into play, often unecessarily. Yes, occasionally, tree branches do fall on people or, more usually, parked cars, during storms or other periods of high wind. That is not a good reason to cut down trees wholesale.

Britain has relatively low tree cover, comparing the UK to other European countries by proportion. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_countries_by_forest_area. Britain’s tree cover, though greater than it was in the recent past, is still only 13%. Germany has 33%, France 36%, and Finland 73%.

There have been attempts, still continuing, to create new forests in the UK: the Heart of England Forest is one, created by the one-time Oz magazine defendant, Felix Dennis [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Dennis; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_of_England_Forest; https://www.heartofenglandforest.com/].

Another is the National Forest: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_National_Forest_(England); https://www.nationalforest.org/

[the National Forest, northeast of Birmingham]

Britain needs more forests, more woods, more tree cover generally, eg in urban and suburban areas. The Woodland Trust, which has planted over 43 million trees over the past four or five decades, can help and even gives away saplings in some cases: https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodland_Trust.

The Golden Madonna

Watched an old (1949) British film, The Golden Madonna [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Madonna]. A few silly bits, but overall quite good and rather entertaining.

I can understand why Hitchens has acceded to the softly-spoken insistence that he have the Covid-19 vaccine injection. He wants to travel, and that is being made all but impossible without vaccination. Many in the old Soviet Union, the vast majority in fact, made the same sort of compromise: unenthusiastic compliance with the regime, in order to live a quiet life, avoid penalties, and receive modest benefits such as good jobs, flats, or (for the few) travel outside Soviet borders.

If even part of her “report” were to become law and actually implemented, that is the end of even the limited free speech that now exists in the UK.

An idealized view, to be sure, but essentially accurate. Britain was a better place before migration invasion, before Zionist control of the mass media (and now even online space), before multikulti and other nonsense.

An old German lady told me, long ago, that “it will take a long time, but people will eventually have to face the fact that the only answer is National Socialism.

Hitler, in his Table Talk [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler%27s_Table_Talk] remarks, not far from the disastrous end of the Second World War, that National Socialism (as known) was finished, but that in maybe a century’s time, the essence of National Socialism would be reborn in another form and then would seize the world with the force of a religion. God mote it be!

Interesting. The never-ending movement of history.

Further aspects of the relationship between National Socialism and spirituality (etc): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_aspects_of_Nazism, though it is necessary to note that Wikipedia is rather (((occupied))), so read with an alert mind.

Final word for tonight

Some readers of my blog may have noticed that a small group of (((trolls))) and nuisances on Twitter have recently been making untrue allegations of criminal or near-criminal behaviour by me and two other named persons.

In relation to the allegations against me specifically, I have already been forced to complain to the employer of one of the said nuisances, an NHS consultant. I may be making further complaint (regulatory and/or official) in relation to that person and others.

I am not a natural complainer (and usually ignore trolls and nuisances because of my belief in free speech), but was forced, by the harassing tweets of these individuals, to take action.

Update, 22 June 2023

The individual who made the false allegations against me was one Tim G. Stevens, NHS psychiatrist and soi-disant novelist, who self-publishes derivative spy thrillers on Amazon.

He had to eat crow, the horrible bastard.

Diary Blog, 25 February 2021, including a Japanese futurist city, and thoughts about “White Genocide”

Was just watching a quite interesting film, After the Dark: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_the_Dark

Watching that film brought to mind my blogging on the theme of the re-creation or rebuilding of an advanced white Northern European (or post-Aryan) society if terrible events should strike down our present world. See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/26/the-tide-is-coming-in-reflections-on-the-possible-end-of-our-present-civilization-and-what-might-follow/.

We often spend time doing things such as trying to gain ordinary political traction, or defending ourselves against the onslaught of nonsense (malicious complaints to social media organizations, police etc) from the Jew-Zionist element and their “antifa” idiot-serfs, or commenting on the events of the day.

All of the above are of course necessary, but we should never forget that our primary focus should be the creation of a new and better society, together with the race and culture which should and must underpin that new society.

Society consists of people, and the most important thing of all is the production of sufficient numbers of white Northern European children, properly brought up and educated.

We, as white Northern Europeans, are facing existential peril. Call it “the Great Replacement” or simply “White Genocide”. Whatever. For example, in the world as a whole, only a few percent of people in this world are actually ethnically European, even broadly.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_people (n.b.the most populous regions, i.e. those of Asia, especially China, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, which four states comprise nearly half the world population, are not covered in that article).

More directly, our own European societies have faced, in the past half century or so, unprecedented migration invasion. Since the fall of the socialist world (i.e. since 1989) and particularly since the disruptions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and the fall of Gaddafi in Libya, a gigantic wave of migration-invasion has hit Europe.

We have seen how the evil cabals of the international conspiracy have helped that invasion, and funnelled the invaders from Africa and Asia to Europe, even to the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia etc; even to Iceland!

We have our backs to the wall, but all is not lost. The world may soon face destruction on a scale that may dwarf even the terrible events of the Second World War. If (when) that happens, we as white Northern European social nationalists may be mere bystanders and/or victims, but after the corrupt old world is destroyed (in large measure) we shall have both the opportunity and the duty to create a new society out of the ruins of the old.

School exams

It seems that, for the second year in a row, schools will mark the exams of their pupils, thus throwing away any rigour or credibility in the public examination system. For God’s sake, just check that the pupils are all breathing, then chuck them all “A” grades.
